What happens when a second chance in both love and life comes a knocking, are you ready to just go with the flow?
This book introduces us to two wonderful characters, Lesley who after her divorce has been at a loss but when she receives news that she has inherited her Great Aunt’s house this may be on the up.
John is a widower trying to support his family and strive to keep his business afloat. He really needs the contract to renovate Rosalynn Manor but he has an aversion to those city types as he has been burnt once too many times, but upon meeting Lesley there is an attraction he can’t quite point his finger on.
I loved this story from the very first paragraph, these two characters were well created and complimented each other brilliantly. The way the story weaved through kept me engaged and invested with these two people. The way the story delved into the emotional side of each of them was lovely and I love a book that makes me cry.
This is the first book I have read by this author and can’t to read more, I recommend this book to anyone who just loves a good feel good story.

IRRESISTIBLE WEDDINGS (Irresistible Romance Book 4) Anthology is a collection of romance stories by some of the best authors around. Anthologies are great because you have all the books in a one stop shop and you get to read stories from your favourite authors and find new ones at the same time, nine in all. What could be better? Each story is unique and will leave you believing in love.
TWO HEARTS’ ALLIANCE by Tamara Ferguson – Tamara is always a favourite and I have yet to read a story I have not fallen in love with and the sexy men and equally strong women. It is another wonderful story in her family of books centred around Wounded Warriors and Crystal Rock, the most magical place when it comes to love and HEA. I can’t say enough about Tamara’s stories to do them justice, so you need to crab your copies and find out for yourself.
ETERNAL by Natalie Ann – Natalie gives us a sweet story where the characters believe love is not for them and they are ok with their lives. The characters are strong and realistic and may have just found their perfect match. It’s a hard road as we travel along the trail to find love.
WEDDING AT FIREHOUSE RANCH by Suzanne Jenkins – Even though he was not looking for love a vivacious and shapely woman may just change all that. The problem was she is not considered the norm and they both must overcome the snickers and inconsiderate words. But she is everything he loves in a woman. I love that Suzanne gave us a story where a good-looking man knew what he wanted, and size did not matter.
ALL MY LOVING by Cynthia Cooke – Naomi is looking to let lose at her best friend’s wedding and let lose she does with an unexpected result. With her walls firmly in place after being hurt she is not sure she can let them down but to get what she wants she needs to let him see her; the no bars hold, her. A great read.
MAKE ME BURN by Alicia Street – Alicia has given us a brother’s best friend and little sister is off limits story. Not only that but due to lies and deceit he was threatened to stay away. But Jinx knows what she wants, and she is going to find the truth even if it’s not what she wants to hear. This is one of my favourites in this collection.
PLAYING WITH THE BRIDESMAID by Stephanie Queen – Natalie has found the one man who sets her on fire, but he has been warned off her, but she is not about to let that, and his age stop her from getting what she wants. Stephanie gives us an older quarter back for Boston’s footy team, Max and a sexy red head who turns his head, but he is shy after his divorce and his age, but he is also hiding a secret. The heart wants what the heart wants. This is a fun, hot and sexy read.
BETWEEN BABIES AND GIRLFRIENDS by Mona Risk – Dr Brian Dutton finds himself raising abandoned twin babies. However, even though girlfriend wants to marry him, she won’t help him with the babies. The Dr is lovable, the girlfriend not so much, I wanted to shake her. What he needs is someone who love him for him and knows what is right for him. I love the hilarious Carla who comes in and takes care of everything. Thank god for HEA’s. This is another favourite of mine in the collection.
THE RIGHT GROOM by Jen Talty – Jen gives us a fun and sweet second chance story where Spencer and Echo who were supposed to be together forever lose their way away from each other. But fate seems to have other ideas and the sparks fly once again. Could there be too much water under the bridge though?
WEDDING KNOT by Patrice Wilton – This is a funny romantic story that is full of drama and a beautiful island. When two friends develop feelings for one another what happens to the other person they have decided was the one? Patrice has given us a story that is fun and will have you laughing. It is fast paced and will leave you wanting more. This is a definite favourite.
5 Star Be One with Me (Finding Love in Green Springs Book 2) by CA Miconi Be One with me is the second book in the Finding Love in Green Springs series. I loved this opposite attract second chance romance, where one is city through and through the other is country. I pretty much stayed up into the night to finish only because I kept telling myself one more Chapter and next thing I knew I was finished and it was 3 am. To the outside world both Sally and Nolan have it all ,they both own their own businesses and have their own places to live and both have nice bank accounts. Only difference is she’s a city girl and he’s a country boy. Both of them suffer from loss, she lost her mother to cancer and after a a death bed confession, and violent attack she runs away from that life. He lost his wife to cancer. Can these two have a relationship together? Can they overcome the differences between them? These two definitely have an attraction towards the other. Find out what happens next in this must read book. I highly recommend reading this book. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

What a collection! This one is a must read and must own for lovers of all types of romance. A few of my favorites are in this collection, including the always fabulous Tamara Ferguson. Her military romances are always soul searching and beautiful. And this contribution, Two Hearts’ Alliance – every page was a delight. A breezes through this hefty collection. And you will too. Be prepared to love every page!
What a great book! I loved this story so much. We all have something no matter how big or small it may seem to others, that cause us to keep it to only those we know won’t judge you or pressure you etc. Melinda is a business owner of “It’s Just Coffee” matchmaking service and she’s got a pretty great track record with it. We learn a lot about her in this book and my heart broke for her. Adam, what a guy! I won’t give much away about him but he was so sweet, yet tough and new in town. He and Melinda become close as she helps him get matched up with potential dates, and he helps her by building in her backyard garden area. Secrets have a way of showing themselves even if you’re not ready to air them out. This was done so well. Highly recommend.

REBECCA STEELE FINDING THE DREAM REBECCA STEELE SERIES BOOK 2 BY JOANNE PATTERSON ☆☆☆☆☆ This is such a beautiful romance story. There is an inspirational feel to this book. Safe for all YA through adults, and such a comfort book.
Becky Steele is back and her life has taken a 360 turn around. Music, horses and the cowboy life. Life is different, but so much better. But let’s not forget about Chance and Cassidy. Is this really what Becky wants? Bet you’re as surprised as I am.
Joanne Patterson has written this beautiful story. Her book is smooth reading, well written and loaded with goodness. Add in the twist and read how Becky works through it. I fell in love with the characters in this story as well as the animal’s. But most of all I fell in love with this author. I’m looking for more! Well Done Joanne Paterson.

The Matchmaker and the Marine by Lucinda Race was a great romance novel! It was entertaining and enthralling, I didn’t want to put it down! Great characters and a great plot, I felt like I was right there in the town of the Chester with Melinda and Adam! This was such a heartfelt and heartwarming novel. I highly recommend this book! This is the first novel I’ve read from Lucinda Race before and I can’t wait to read more in the future!

REBECCA STEELE FINDING A DREAM by Joanne Patterson is the second book in the Rebecca Steele series. Rebecca, or Becky Steele, has been living her best life with her friend, Emily, there for the ride. She has changed the direction of her life and little does she know but there are more changes to come. Does she take this new opportunity or continue the life she is enjoying? I hadn’t read the first book in the series but really enjoyed the characters and story in this book. Becky is a strong but sweet individual who can inspire someone to follow their dreams. I read this story quickly and enjoyed there were a few twists to keep me on my toes. I also enjoyed that the story doesn’t get saccharine sweet as some inspirational stories do. The characters are well rounded and interesting. I look forward to grabbing more books in the future by this author.

Love Comes in the Mourning by Erin Bevan. I loved this book from the beginning. I pulled at my heartstrings. Sometimes things turn out the opposite of how we want and expect them too. Loss is not easy to overcome but when 2 people suffer losses, maybe they can help each other heal their hearts. That is exactly what I loved about this book. I loved the relationship that Leslie and John built and I was cheering them on as I read. This is definitely a book that I will be recommending to friends!!

Be One with Me (Finding Love in Green Springs Book 2) by CA Miconi
I really loved the first book in this series, Be Brave With Me so I was very excited to read this one. I am happy to say that I wasn’t disappointed. I loved this sweet romantic story. My emotions were all over the place, there is laughter, love, tears, family, and friendship. I loved getting to know Sally and Nolan. Sally is an independent, business owner, city girl who’s life changes when her mom passes away from cancer. Nolan is a business owner and small town kind of guy, who has lost his wife to cancer. These two are opposites in many ways and when they meet for the first time the chemistry is there between them. Sally has a hard time letting people in, can she let down her walls enough to see if there’s anything that can grow between them. Nolan hasn’t wanted to try to date since his wife passed away because he feels like there was only one woman for him, but Sally has him feeling something he didn’t think he would feel again. What will happen between these two? There are also some other wonderful characters in this story that you won’t want to miss out on. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book.

Being Lost is the first book in Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series. We have been waiting for it for a while now! I love that Manda is venturing out with all those spin- offs! I think the one we are still missing is the Las Vegas Chapter! What it also means, is that there will be so much more goodness coming our way! In general we are so used to seeing all those young buff guys as the heroes in the MC series, dark and gloomy … it is not very often that we meet someone of Lost’s calibre and age and add to it Patsy and women of mature age will gleefully sit back and loose away some hours in their company! I also love how the writer creates these tangible connections between the mother chapter and the other chapters! Patsy’s daughter is Bethany, Ink’s Old Lady who we met in Ink’s Devil, book #5 in the Colorado Chapter series! Also, I absolutely love the brotherhood and loyalty and standing with all your brothers in the time of need and it also gives us an opportunity to get snippets from the lives of brothers we have met in the other books. Lost is the prez of the San Diego chapter and his journey to this position has not been a light one … it is so often that he feels like he has been lost for a while now … Patsy has left his old life behind to keep her daughter and son safe and she thinks she is safe in San Diego but one’s past has a tendency of popping up when one does not want or need it and so happens also here … in ride the Satan’s Devils to save the day and off we go! You would think that it would be a fast paced, guns blazing kind of a story but you could not be further from the reality … it flows like a river on a warm summer day, leaving you feel just right! Dear Manda, thank you for finally giving us San Diego chapter and please keep them’ coming!

Be One with Me (Finding Love in Green Springs Book 2) by CA Miconi. This is a great romance and it could be read as a standalone but I think its so much better having read the first one. Its the story of Sally who has seems to have it all together. She is super successful with her own business, a upscale condo and plenty of money in the bank but in reality life seems pretty messed up to Sally. Her mom has just died from cancer and on her deathbed told Sally to find he real father, that he is not dead as she had always believed. On top of that she gets mugged and is scared to death. That causes her to move to Green Springs, Mississippi a super small town where crime is low and people are friendly. She meets Nolan after moving there who appears to have it all together, he has his own business, loves his life and has plenty of money in the bank. The only thing the two of them have in common is Nolan has just lost his wife to cancer. Can they make this relationship work? Read Be One with Me to find out.

Teenager heroine Megan seeks out to find a wizard serial killer where magic, murder and suspense follow her through this book. Adopted Megan is enlisted with the help of arrogant teen and defiant Tyson but the bad guys are after them which thrust her into this adventure. Megan wonders who the real enemy is when she searches for meaning. This book is a great addition to a series of great action books. This is an easy read, original, entertaining and great world building for the reader to enjoy.

Rebecca Steele Finding The Dream By Joanna Patterson is the second book in the Rebecca Steele series. This book can be read as a stand-alone although I would recommend reading book 1 first as it follows the same characters. This is definitely an entertaining book and one that is easy to get into, even without having read the first book. The characters were fun and engaging, Becky seemed like she would be a great person to meet. The story itself was fairly lighthearted and easy to read. I found myself reading it quickly as I got lost in the story. This was a great book to read and I am looking forward to what might be next.

I am kind of a sucker for small town romances. Something about the feel they give me as I am reading, almost as if I am transformed to the place it takes place in and visiting while meeting a new set of friends that I have come to love and care for. Be One with Me by CA Miconi did just that for me. I was instantly taken to Green Springs, Mississippi and tiptoeing through the countryside as I watched Nolan and Sally navigate the new relationship they find themselves in.
I love how these two are literally polar opposites. Nolan is a country boy through and through. He is also recovering from the loss of his wife due to cancer. Sally is very much a city girl who has a lot going for her in her life. Except loss visits her life too and she starts to question what will really make her life a happy one worth living. When these two meet they know the differences but feel the connection. Will they be able to find a way to overcome the differences and heal the one thing they have in common? These two were so sweet and I loved reading all about them. I do think now I will go back and check out book one in the Finding Love in Green Springs series since I fell in love with this one so much. I can’t wait to see what book three will have in store for us as well.

I was so stoked to get my hands on this book, Dead Magic, the third in The Sanctuary Chronicles from India Kells. This has to be one of my favorite series of hers and they are jammed full with action, adventure, magic, mystery, lore, and steamy fun to balance it all out. I could not wait to get the story of Violet and Finn with this one and they did not disappoint. Another side note about this series is the covers, like they literally grab you without even saying a word. I wouldn’t even need a title on these to know they have to be full of some amazing story lines. This one may be my fav because of the purple undertones but it is drool worthy and definitely worth mentioning. I would highly recommend also that you read the first two books before this one. While it can be read as a stand alone novel I feel that these are better read in order so you get that slow and inevitable build up of excitement with each new one you read. This one has my favorite pairing, a sexy vampire, and a fierce witch. These two don’t want what fate is throwing their way. Will they be able to find the common ground and manage a relationship? That is about all I felt safe sharing the rest is only good when read by your own eyes. I can’t wait to see what will come next!

Erin Bevan really hit the nail on the head with this latest novel that I read by her, Love Comes in The Mourning. I must say this is quite the emotional roller coaster of a read that will keep you on the verge of tears, if not ugly crying, throughout most of the book. The couple we meet, Lesley and John both have pasts that would make anyone wanna give up on love but together they will get a chance to rekindle love and try to find happiness once again. Will it be with each other? Can they heal enough from the pasts they have to be able to love again? These two were so relatable and realistic that I often felt as if I was reading a memoir. I loved how they both had a strong anchor in the book and rather than fighting for the limelight they both shined just as equally as the other. I cannot wait to see what we will get next from Erin Bevan. I know for sure I will be right there ready to soak it all up!

The Irresistible Weddings Anthology contains the following novels/novellas: TWO HEARTS’ ALLIANCE: Tamara Ferguson, USA Today bestselling author ETERNAL: Natalie Ann, USA Today bestselling author WEDDING AT FIREHOUSE RANCH: Suzanne Jenkins, USA Today bestselling author ALL MY LOVING: Cynthia Cooke, USA Today bestselling author MAKE ME BURN: Alicia Street, USA Today bestselling author PLAYING WITH THE BRIDESMAID: Stephanie Queen, USA Today bestselling author BETWEEN BABIES AND GIRLFRIENDS: Mona Risk, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author THE RIGHT GROOM: Jen Talty, USA Today bestselling author WEDDING KNOT: Patrice Wilton, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author I was particularly excited to discover that this anthology contains another of the Wounded Warrior Series by Tamara Ferguson as I’ve recently become a huge fan of this series. This is a series of books with a military theme and contains military servicemen and women who have been wounded in the line of duty. In Two Hearts Alliance we are introduced to Captains Jeremy and Christine who first work together while Christine is still married. Jeremy can’t help is attraction to her. He is even more enamoured when she saves his life during a dangerous mission. Both meet again after Christine is divorced and they are unable to deny the attraction they have to one another. This is a beautiful romance story filled with so much angst and drama. I was gripped by this story from the very beginning and the author didn’t let me go as she took me through this rollercoaster of emotions. Christine and Jeremy are wonderful characters who I adored. I also loved that I got to see favourite characters from previous books and get a sneak peak at their futures. 100% recommend this anthology and the Wounded Warriors series by Tamara Ferguson.
This was such a lovely read; I was completely captivated by the whole book from beginning to end. The characters Lesley and John were wonderful; I especially fell in love with John straight away. I had my fingers crossed for Lesley the whole way through – I wanted her to find the man that she deserved someone who would love her like she loves. I could feel the emotions coming from John during the story; the author was able to get them across so well. The authors writing was slow to develop but it was absolutely perfect for this story, there is no way a fast paced read would have suited these characters and their story. I would absolute recommend Love Comes in the Mourning and this author and I look forward to reading more from Ms Bevan again in the future.

We first meet Becky Steele in ‘Rebecca Steele Chasing a Dream’, but although this is the second book in the ‘Rebecca Steele Series’ it can be read as a standalone story. I read it having not read the previous book and I thoroughly enjoyed it and then had to read the first book as well having fallen in love with Becky. Becky now rides horses and lives on a ranch outside Nashville, her life is definitely different to when she was flying on airplanes. Becky is not only making her name for herself within her country music career but she is also taking the Tennessee rodeo circuit by storm. Best friend Emily is by her side sharing Becky’s new adventure with her. Just as Becky decides that she is happier than she’s ever been and is determined to enjoy her new life, out of the blue she is thrown a curve, a big one. Knowing that the decisions she makes will not only effect her life but those closest to her Becky need to decide whether she will take a chance. I love Becky as a character as she has such a friendly, loving personality and is also independent and courageous and she is not afraid to go for what she wants in life. I found her relatable as a character and like that she shows her vulnerability at times, especially when she has to face her fears. Emily is a great best friend and I love the dialogue between the two of them. The storyline had plenty to keep me turning the pages, drama, suspense, romance and intrigue along with enough twists and turns that kept me guessing. I was cheering Becky on throughout this story as she worked toward attaining and living her dreams.

Dead Magic is the third book in the Sanctuary Chronicles series. It can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend the previous books because they are awesome!
This book grabbed a hold of me in the first chapter and didn’t let go. The action starts almost right away and it leads you on a journey with Finn to find Violet and save her.
I love the characters in this book. Who doesn’t love a brooding vampire and witches, right??? Especially when they are drawn together but don’t want to be. You connect to the characters right away, which keeps you invested in their story and the outcome.
Superb read! Get this book! You will not be disappointed.

Fall is the second book in The Ragnarök Prophesies by A.K. Morgen. It is a fantastic blend of paranormal fantasy, Norse mythology, the prophecy of Ragnarök, destiny, wolves, danger, and intrigue- all wrapped up in a captivating story. The characters are interesting and fully developed individuals- I found that this book is definitely more character driven, as the characters work through a lot of ‘inner’ issues, emotions, trying to figure out everything that has happened previously, as well as what they’re going through in this book. The need for communication, trust, and decision is paramount- but things aren’t quite going to plan. They will need to work it out and deal with their issues, before it’s too late! There’s a lot at stake! Bring on Book #3!!!

Dare Me: A Paranormal Demon Romance but Felicity Brandon is the first book in the Demonology series. This book is a dark book that will have you utterly captivated from the start. I loved the connection between Raif and Sara, you could feel it in every page. It was such an intense relationship that you were instantly drawn into it. I found myself glued to the pages, reading quicker and quicker as I tried to find out what was going to happen. This is first book that I have read by this author and I really loved the intense and gritty feel to it. It isn’t something I expected which made it all the more exciting. The book was really well developed and I loved the way the author created the story. This is was fantastic book and one I would highly recommend.

Love Comes in the Mourning by Erin Bevan a sweet and powerful four-star read. This is one of those stories that will surprise you as just when you think you know where the characters are going they take a turn and change things up, but in a great way, this is one of those stories that show us how we each deal with things differently and how that’s okay. Lesley was a great character and one that you will feel and support from the first page, she is such a compelling character. I enjoyed the slow burn element of the story, but It did go off the boil at times and I wondered what was happening but then it started to warm and it warmed my heart no end.

Irresistible Weddings plenty of reads worth celebrating. This has some great authors telling us some fantastic stories, of the eight authors I didn’t find one that I didn’t enjoy. I enjoyed that they all had a different twist, sometimes in an anthology you get a couple that may be similar, but I didn’t find that here, it was refreshing and fun to read. I must say a special mention to Tamara Ferguson as I adored her previous work so this was just like a cherry on top for me. Jen Talty with The Right Groom and Stephanie Queen with Playing with the Bridesmaid also rated highly with me, but there wasn’t a story I didn’t enjoy.
Martimus by Seelie Kay a five-star read that will keep you hooked. This is number five in the Feisty Lawyers series and I would say you can read this one as stand-alone, but the whole series is sublime, they all just keep you on the edge of your seat. This one has plenty of romance, but also plenty of drama and suspense, and the best thing is it just wraps everything up into this amazing story that will hook you in. I enjoyed how you are sucked so deeply into the story you will feel like you are part of the investigation, you will be wondering what is going on with these women, you will feel like you are one of the amazing characters unfolding this dramatic story. If you haven’t picked up this author before do it, as you wont be disappointed.

This is an amazing collection of short stories which feature feisty women as then main character. They cover all generes of romance such as Paranormal, Contemporary, Fantasy, and Historical.
All the stories are good reads but one of my favourites is by Maggie Adams and is called Good Bones. It is a story written very well and even though it is a short story you get the full complete story so you don’t feel like anything is missing out of it because of the length.
Griffin is a successful business man who has his eye on buying a mansions and turning it into a golf resort. But its not just any mansion. It was a home for the elderly and it was where his grandfather passed away. He is determined to get his hands on the property but what he doesnt count on is the owner Casey.
Casey is the owner of the home and it has been in her family for generations. When an inspector came she was told all the repairs that needed doing and she doesn’t know how she is going to do them with little to no funds. Casey plans to change the home back into a b&b but this plan is stopped thanks to Griffin’s interference.
Can Casey save her family home? Will Griffin be able to turn it into the resort he wants? And will they uncover the secret his grandfather left and find happiness together.
Kay does an incredible job weaving a tale of intrigue and suspense that leaves the reader glued to their seats. I’ve loved this series and this latest installment did not disappoint. The main characters this round were fun to read and watch develop in their relationships. It was equal parts crime, intrigue, and amazing romantic chemistry. Loved every page and will absolutely one click Seelie Kay every time!

While this is the second book in the series, you do not have to have read the first book prior to this one. There are some overlapping characters, but nothing that would keep a reader from understanding this story. This book focuses on Sally and Nolan. Sally is a successful city girl that finds herself in the country when she needs to escape the city and her feelings of loneliness. Her mother has passed away and she has just survived a violent attack. She is determined to find out about her long lost father after her mother provides information when she is on her death bed. Nolan is a successful country boy that can’t ever see himself leaving this town. He has lost his wife to cancer and also finds himself alone. These two come from two different worlds, so can they put their differences aside to pursue the attraction between them? Can they both let their guard down to let each other in? This is a slow burn book…which is necessary given their situations. I laughed…cried…and enjoyed every minute.
