Ghost Takes A VacationGhost Takes A Vacation by Carmen Radtke
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

In this second installment of the Genie and Adriana Darling mysteries, you follow a girl and her ghost aunt. Even though this is the second book, it is a stand alone though I always recommend reading the first because you get more details. Genie and her aunt love to travel and get wrapped in fun mysteries. Adriana will have you bubbling with laughter as they figure out how the auction house burnt down. A great read.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

That cover though, fans self. I’ve read a few of Tam Derudder Jackson’s books and let me tell you they are all this good. I loved this story of Callahan and Jamaica. I wasn’t sure cause I’m not a big sports fan but this book will bring you to a tolerate level of sports. The romance and caution in the story showing you their love is written amazingly.

If you read Where the Ocean Meets the Sky you’ll know the main character of this story. It is Cal’s life story of finding happiness and what he did to get it. There are many women before he finds Annie at 45 and this story tells you of the pain, suffering and more that he went through. A.R. does a wonderful job showing you into the sadness of Cal’s journey.

A great story to read anytime you need to lose yourself in a different world. This story is Cal and Annie’s. Both Cal and Annie have troubled lives and are gapped a decent bit in age. Even with the age gap, you can feel the connection between the two. A.R. does a great job drawing you in and making you feel every emotion and giving you the best descriptions, that you can absolutely see it all.

Slay It With a Diamond (Diamond District Mystery Book 3)Slay It With a Diamond by Rob Bates
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This story was not what I’d expect. If you know anything about diamonds, it’s a great read and if you don’t you’ll feel like an expert by the end. I did not know it was a part of the series till the end which tells you a lot. It is very much a stand alone. It is a fun mystery, but with humor and more. A good read for a quiet slow afternoon.

Wicked Games (Hidden Valley Elite #7)Wicked Games by Isla Vaughn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love Isla Vaughn’s Hidden Valley Elite books. Wicked Games is a stand alone but it’s still amazing to know the backstory of Shane. Watching Shane and Winter fall is the best ever especially knowing his ex. I do hate her cliffhangers but just builds anticipation and Isla always delivers. I definitely recommend this story and all other Hidden Valley Elite stories!

Such a wonderful story. I began reading this and was immediately channeling my inner kid. A great novel for children from 6 up to 10. I wish I would’ve found this a few years back when my son was younger because I believe he would’ve loved the story of Dylan the Detective. The story has a great captivating way of pulling you in with the words and illustrations.

Whisper Creek (A Logan McKenna Mystery Book 7)Whisper Creek by Valerie Davisson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have read one Valerie Davisson book before and I enjoyed it so I figured this one would be just as good. I wasn’t really disappointed but I definitely need to get caught up on the rest of the stories in her series. All the characters are the same and are great but I did feel I missed a lot by not reading all the books leading to this one. So make sure to read the series start to finish first!

This book is such a fun children’s book. Who would have thought kneading like a cat could help? I really loved how the story took something that many children don’t know about and showed them how it can help them find a solution. Ben does a wonderful job learning and growing with his biscuit recipe.

I was super excited for this book. I’m a Christmas person and love stories and such about Christmas. That being said, this wasn’t as Christmas as I thought it would be. You follow Joy and Jack as they learn about themselves and each other. This is a unique story with a deep root of love. The first few pages took me some time to get into but if you push through, you’ll fall in love with it.

Dumpster Dying (A Hazardous Hoarding Mystery Book 1)Dumpster Dying by Michelle Bennington
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book has everything you need on a small cozy mystery. It does give a lot of unnecessary details at the beginning but it’s easy to get past. Birdie is everything. Is her husband haunting her? Is her house a hoarded mess? Will she figure out what happened to Jenna? Will Oda Dean get off her back about it all? A great story to read for a little bit of it all.

I did not expect anything this book had to offer and that is everything to me. I absolutely loved the story. It had everything; paranormal, action, romance, and twists and turns.. I absolutely joined Debbie Hibbert’s mailing list on her website. I want all the details to all the books. This story is probably a ya book but I didn’t care. I loved watching Cece navigate her powers, her life, and her new found love.

The suspense in this story is absolutely high. You’ll love it and you’ll hate it but you’ll love it again. The ending is the best and was totally unexpected. This is my first book by Becky Flade and I was very upset with myself for not having found her sooner. Hannah and Doyle will be your favorite story to date.

I loved the first in this series. That said I did enjoy this one but not as much as the first. These are not stand alone in the sense that if you don’t read the first one you’ll miss a lot of details that help you understand more about Mia and Gumshoe. This story is still fun and entertaining, it didn’t hook me like the first one did.

Vanishing Day: A Logan McKenna Mystery/Thriller Logan Book 4 (Logan McKenna Series)Vanishing Day: A Logan McKenna Mystery/Thriller Logan Book 4 by Valerie Davisson

This is my first book of the Logan McKenna Series but even though it is book 4 it is stand alone. In this gripping thriller you’ll spend your time rooting for Logan and her new friend Loriand her daughter. So many puzzle pieces get put together as the story unfolds and you can only metaphorically close your eyes to avert the damages. A great story from start to finish. I cannot wait to read another Valerie Davisson story.

They always have so much more heat. Just my opinion. This one wasn’t much different. Tons of romance, tension, drama, frustration, and even adventure. A good start to reading T. Christensen’s stories.

Though if you love this story I promise you will love all the ones before. There is romance and adventure. Will Shane and Liza fall together or will they be trapped in the crosshairs?

Please do not read this till you read the first ones in Phoenix and Aspen’s story. That being said, the first chapter will rip you apart. Phoenix and Aspens has been my favorite story but this book broke my heart so many times. Poor Phoenix and poor Aspen. If you have not read anything by Isla Vaughn, get ready for a ride. She writes the best.

Shadow's Fall (Shadowstalker Series Book 3)Shadow’s Fall by Natalie Johanson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I wish I had paid more attention and read the first two books in the Shadowstalker Series. With not having the whole story it did make the book harder to read but is doable. You just miss a lot. It is a YA fantasy story full of adventure. The characters are great and everything runs real well together pulling you into the story. I definitely recommend reading the first two and then this one but a great series.
