This book is a cute coming to age story for young boys. It tells you the story of Russell and the challenges he faces as a ten year old boy in fifth grade. He begins getting bullied and in this time his life is falling apart but will his grandfather’s gift help him? It was a sweet book that gives the perfect outcome that keeps you entertained.
Love Shots by Isobel Reed

I’ve read a few of Isobel Ree and always enjoyed them. This book is not at all my favorite though. I was just not a fan of the story of Summer and Teddy. It had good structures and everything I just could not get into this one. I did finish it just so much like the ones before it I guess. I do absolutely still recommend it to anyone who loves the falling in love stories with drama and stepping stones.
Lilly Tames Her Worries by Carole Heaney

I really wish I had this book when my daughter was younger. It would’ve helped her so much. This book will be such a great help to any child who gets worried a lot. I would recommend it to any parent whose child has a favorite toy that gives them comfort and they have a hard time dealing with anxiety.
Complicated Choices by Risa Nyman

This story absolutely surprised me. I did not think I’d enjoy it but wanted to give it a shot because of other reviews and let me tell you no one has lied. It is a great book. It was so hard for me to put down after I got into the first few pages. It was something that happens so much in today’s world but you don’t think about it too much until you read about it. Claire is doing it all and she just wants to be a family but things are hard when you are a teenager.
How to Catch Little Boys and Eat Them by Lois Wickstrom

Lois Wickstrom did it again. She took a classic fairytale and gave it a twist. If this is the first Lois Wickstrom book you read I highly recommend checking her other stories out. This twist is on Jack and the Beanstalk and I was not disappointed at the new views and narratives.
Heavy Shot by Toni Aleo

I am a hockey fan so this book screamed at me. I mean what is better than hockey and love? Right from the beginning you’ll get sucked in learning about Austen and seeing Dimitri’s life. A great story that you’ll want to read over and over again. This love story is one to fall in love with!

This is such a cute book! A perfect book to read and help teach your littles about counting and ocean life. At the end there is a scan code to hear the song which is just as fun as the reading. An interactive search at the end of the book will have your children searching and having fun!
Bared. by N.D. Jackson

Bared starts out so tragically. You can feel the pain but then as it goes further you learn more about Athena. Will Tru be enough for her or is he just like everyone else who is intimidated by her? You’ll love the sexual tension and the way everything is written. A good romance story with some sports.
Broken. by N.D. Jackson

If you have read Bared you’ll love Broken. It starts out with the same tragedy but from Indy’s point of view. This is the second in the Green St Girls series but can be read alone. I’m stickler for the name Gideon so I’m pretty partial to this book. The characters are written so well. Read both books in the series in one day.
Sage Advice by Cori Cooper

I really enjoy reading Cori Cooper. She does an excellent job of telling the story and pulling you in. In this story it did take me a bit longer to get into but that is most likely because I’m a thirty year old woman and this story is based more on high school age kids. There is a lot at that age going on and I believe many young adults will love this story and Cori Cooper’s writing skills.
Love Bites More by T.L. Clark

This story is definitely a one of a kind one. It was a step too much for me but I would never rate it just on my preferences. It was spicy, paranormal, suspenseful,and romantic. A great story if you are into more than one guy involved. Three isn’t a crowd in this one.
Goldilocks and the Six Simple Machines by Lois Wickstrom

As usual, Lois Wickstrom has written another fairytale with new eyes. You hear the story of Goldilocks but with a great twist that teaches children more values. Lois Wickstrom writes these stories with the thought of teaching kids how to use things, how to help in some way. A great story for children learning to read and at that great learning age.
The Silent Woodsman by Cat Treadgold

The Silent Woodsman is a fun tale of finding love when you least expect it but there is so much suspense and twists in it as well. Ali needed help during a storm and Joe Bob’s cabin is what she found. This story was fun to read. Cat Treadgold is an excellent storyteller.
Hole in the Rock by Rebecca Bischoff

This story is based to entertain more middle school aged children. Nonetheless it is a fun little read even for me as an adult. The story is witty and full of adventure. As an adult, I’m not sure it’s the best choice but as a pre teen or teenager it would be an exciting read full of excitement.

I enjoyed parts of this story but was not a fan of the way it was written. It was a bit fast with not a lot of detail but then tons of detail that wasn’t needed . I feel like it has a great idea there but there is too much of the extra detail that isn’t needed thrown in but if you can get past that a great story to read and enjoy. The trials of falling in love.

Wow, David Kummer has made it on my favorite authors list for sure with this book. I can not wait to read the other books in the series! A psychological thriller full of suspense and twists. I could not tell what the secrets were until they were revealed. Just can not brag enough about this story and how well David told it.
Smooth Hoperator by Sylvie Stewart

This is the second book in the Love on Tap series, though it is written as a stand alone. It was a cute story about faking a relationship but of course a real one begins. I enjoy Sylvie Stewart’s writing style and encourage anyone to read her stories. This one isn’t my favorite so far but it was still a great read.

Wow! This book is so much but written so well you can’t tell that there is so much. Jammed pack full of mystery, suspense, drama, revenge, obsession, and so so much. This story was great. It’ll keep you entertained from start to finish. Definitely recommend it!
A Way Out by Tami Lund

A Way Out was a hard book for me to get into. I’m not sure if it was because of the story line or just an off day of reading. Nonetheless, I did finish it and would recommend it to anyone wanting to read it. The story is full of drama and chemistry. Maria and Oz run a bumpy first meeting and have that instant connection but it’s a first meeting so it can’t be anything else, right?
The Book of Hours by Maria Elena Alonso-Sierra

I did not realize this book was a second in the series till I got further into the book and realized the details were missing because I was missing the first book, The Coin. The Book of Hours was a mystery with suspense. The story is told from Gabriella’s point of view. The story is full of great imagery and will give you strong feelings about all the characters involved. It did take me a bit longer to read and get into than I assumed but it is worth the read.
Fetching Dreams by Mary Evanson Bleckwehl

Fetching Dreams is a tale of two young girls with totally different lives. The story was an inspirational sad truth of how things could be in other places. I did love how they were pen pals, many people don’t know what that means anymore. I do feel it was more towards the middle school aged group, not as much for young adults. A great story for anyone to read though.
The Finding by A.M. Porto

I loved this story. It was very emotional from the first sentence. I did get a bit confused and frustrated towards the three quarters of the way mark in the story. But this book will take you on a ride, full of twists, heartaches, hope, and so much more. Logan and Victoria’s love is so much more than anyone could ever want. To hold out so long for one person will break your heart and fix it all in one.

I’m not sure if I’m just having a hormonal day or if this book has caused all my tears from happy to sad to so very happy. This book was written amazingly giving you the right amount of everything. Love, sex, tragedy, all the feelings, the best help, companionship it really has everything even some action. Definitely recommend this book to anyone who may need that sappy love story with plot.
Shalom Israel: A place like no other by Melissa Lavi

Even though this is based more towards children, I really enjoyed it. I learned many words and things about Israel that I never knew. I was extremely excited at the end when they had a glossary for all the terms I wasn’t sure about saving me the time of trying to Google to be sure I understood correctly. I think this book is a wonderful story for children to read and learn so much more about Israel. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially people trying to teach their children of the beauty and diversity in other countries.
I thought I loved the last two books in this series but this one slammed me into the book like I had nothing to lose. I absolutely loved this one and can not wait for the next installment. This is the first to tell you of Phoenix’s love life though if you read the first books from the Hidden Valley Elite, you’ll know more about him. Aspen is something new , something special but will fate bring them together or will they fall apart?
Twisted Eros by Aria Skylar

Overall it is a good story. The abduction had me a bit confused but it worked out in the next few pages. The story of Kay and Eros is an erotic BDSM story. The story is very much twisted and full of turns. Worth the read if you are into tales like this.

I’ve read the first two books in the Ground Rule series and this third one is just as good as the other two. All can be read as a stand alone but I do like knowing a bit of the back stories. Bree Kraemer does a wonderful job of helping you envision every moment in the book. Heath and Grace’s banter back and forth leading to the best decision. A wonderful read that will keep you engulfed for hours.
Stalked by the Devil: BWWM Thriller by Stacy-Deanne

Stalked by The Devil is the second in the To Kiss a Stalker series but is a stand alone book. This was my first book by Stacey DeAnne. The story took a lot of chapters to get into but I did finally get there. It was a suspenseful tale full of woes. I did not expect the stalker to be who it was and the story to have so many twists.
Brutal Nights by Isla Vaughn

I definitely recommend that you read Brutal Days before you read Brutal Nights. I honestly would recommend book one of this series but to know more about Damon and Skylar you need to at least read Brutal Days. Damon and Skylar’s story has been my absolute favorite so far. There is so much tension, sexual and everything. There are small twists full of action. I really enjoyed the ending of Brutal Nights. Great book and a quick read if you get into it like I did.
Twisted Bond by Danielle Jacks

Twisted Bond has so much described imagery in just the first few paragraphs that you can feel and smell the same as described. The book is a bit slow to get into and takes a few chapters to catch on but well worth it. A story of betrayal and the fear of failure but is it really just love the whole time? A great fantasy book that will quickly become a page turner in a few hours.
