Theresa Pocock really did a fantastic job bringing this book to life. I wasn’t sure what to expect as she was a new author to me but the concept sounded original and gripping enough to give it a go for sure, and I was not disappointed that I picked this up at all. The story has lots of elements to it, fantasy, magic, and a world built with such detail you feel as if your feet are firmly planted there with the characters. This is definitely quite the story and my only complaint is at a few times I felt lost or like the writing became detached just a bit. For me it seemed to work itself out quickly and so that wasn’t a terrible issue. I really enjoyed this read and with a cliffhanger like the one at the end of this, I will definitely want to dive into the next book if there is one!

The Liminal Space is the second book in T.S. Simons’ exciting Antipodes series. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, with survivors connected by Stargate-esque portals, this series has me totally hooked! One of the things I particularly like about the series is the opportunity to travel to different parts of the world, which makes it a great lockdown read (if you can cope with the “disease wiping out most of life on Earth” plot at the moment). In this sequel, Cam has grown and learnt a lot. He is confident in what he has to offer to his community, and is learning to let go of things outside of his control. All of the characters are adapting to the new way of life, but also missing aspects of their old lives and wondering if things ever could go back to normal. This series is very much a series for today’s world. As well as themes that relate to our experiences with COVID-19, there is a huge focus on environmental issues and our responsibilities towards the planet. It is a thought-provoking book that I would recommend to young adult readers. It gets five stars from me!

The Liminal Space is the second book in the Antipodes series by T.S Simons. It is a YA, post-apocalyptic, dystopian story; with some science fiction elements, drama, and tension. All in all, an intriguing and thought-provoking read. Having read the first book, I was curious to see what would happen in this book- so grabbed a copy and dove in. Again, as with he first book, there is quite a lot going on, but I seemed to ‘settle’ into this story easier than the first book- which made for a more enjoyable read. That’s not to say that I didn’t have a few issues with the story/developments- but thankfully they didn’t detract too much from my overall enjoyment of the story.

Is second by this author which is a YA dystion post apocalitiy world. This is a story about Cam and the journey he goes on as he finds out what family means. I found this book to be just as detailed and well thought out as the first book. I Ioved how important family is to Cam.

Wow what more can I say? I was once again drawn into the world of the citadel and forest. The complex world is just the escape I needed and was not disappointing. I lost myself in the world the author created and could not put this book down. I have read the first two and was on so excited to read this the third and sadly finale part of the series.
I was really drawn to Mielitta and her search to discover more about herself and also the battle between the forest and the Citadel. I must admit that I was not fully prepared for how this book unfolded and was glad that the author was able to create a bit of a twist and keep the story fresh and flowing. I was glued from book one to this final book and it will definitely be one of my read and read again series. I look forward to discovering more from this author.

Cecily sticks out from the crowd. Zach. Seems very sweet. Harlow this character I don’t like she seems very stuck up. Seems like the couples relationship Is a little bit strained due to the circumstances which is being put under. Andrew is an interesting chap to say the least. I read this book in one day as I couldn’t wait to fine out what happened next well in an hour and a half. Harlow well I want to slap her. Overall I would highly recommend this great book which kept me engaged engage from the start. I cannot wait to read more from this author.

Simons does a fantastic job putting together another story that immediately pulls the reader in. I found the storyline original and thoughtful. The characters are well developed and relatable. You can read this as a stand-alone but it is best appreciated when read in series order. Thoroughly enjoyed this dystopian work and look forward to seeing what Simons does next.

Guardians of the Garden is the first book in the Guardians of the Garden series by Theresa Pocock. This is an original YA fantasy with a clever storyline woven around fate, duty, responsibility, coming of age, family, love, magic, secrets, acceptance, being ‘different’, mystery, twists, drama, immortality, the threat of war, and an adventure. It is a wonderful mix of myth, folklore, fantasy, and some religious themes- taking us to Edenia, and the guardians of the Garden of Eden. As soon as I read the blurb, I was taken by the original and fresh story- so I grabbed a copy and dived right in. This story doesn’t disappoint, although it was a little slow in the beginning while the foundations of the story were being laid, and while working through the many character introductions. But it wasn’t too long before the pace picked up and I was able to settle into the story comfortably. Things are left open, and looks set to continue in book two- so I will definitely be on the look out for it to find out what happens.

This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites by her yet. Her writing skills and attention to details make her stories easy to read and understandable. This book is no different. It pulled me in right from the beginning and kept my attention to the end. The characters took me on an adventure that was engaging and full of action. They are paranormal and really just made the story fun. I had no problems connecting to them. This is the third book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous two books to help your enjoyment of this series. This is a story of loyalty, sacrifices, and finding out who you really are. Mielitta has a destiny but will she fulfill it? I highly recommend this book and the previous books in this series.

Can Dreams Come True? is the first book in The Cecily Taylor series by Krysten Lindsay Hager. It is a cute, sweet, YA, coming of age story- about friendship, crushes, first love, teenage angst, jealousy, and following your dreams. This is my first read from Ms. Hager, so I was interested to see what this was all about. It is definitely a YA story- as it is quite sweet and a little ‘fluffy’. As I have grown older, I have found that I like my stories a little ‘meatier’- but still enjoy exploring YA stories as they are usually fairly light and easy to read and make great ‘palate cleansers’. This is definitely the case here- a lovely story with just enough angst and drama to keep things interesting and well suited for the younger reader. I am interested to see what happens in the next instalment- following Cecily and Andrew on to the next stage of their relationship with “In Over Her Head: Lights, Camera, Anxiety”(Book #2).

The Liminal Space by T. S. Simons is the second book in the Antiodes series. I highly recommend you read the first book, you will be glad you took the time. I enjoyed learning how Cam thought about life and how important family is. This post apocalyptic book really makes you consider if your life would be different if you were able to start over. Would your life really change or would you make similar mistakes you made in your current life? I’m not sure I could answer that but it sure makes you wonder. I really enjoyed this book, I’d say even more than the first.

I really enjoyed this book by Theresa Pocock. Right from the beginning there was drama and intrigue. The book kept my interest as it led me on a journey with many twists and turns. Theresa Pocock has created a dynamic world full of interesting characters and I enjoyed my journey through it. The cliff hanger ending left me breathless as I wait on the next installment of this series. Theresa Pocock is an author to watch, and I look forward to seeing more from her.

Guardians Of The Garden by Theresa Pocock was an interesting read. I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect when I opened this book, but from the synopsis I thought it would be more along the lines of a fairytale. I definitely was not expecting a slightly modern and dystopian take on the Garden of Eden from the Bible. I’m not a huge religious person, so I was slightly thrown off by that. This book was well written, but it also felt like it rambled on. I found my thoughts drifting several times during reading this novel. And this novel ends on a cliffhanger. I can’t tell if it’s part of series, or if it just ends weird. But I’m really hoping for another book and that this is part of a series. But either way I really want a sequel now!

This was a very enjoyable read! Her take on the Garden of Eden was something novel that really got me thinking. I would definitely classify this as a true YA book. Guardians of the Garden by Theresa Pocock is a fantastic reimagining of the story of Eden. It brings in all the elements you are familiar with and puts a unique and interesting twist on them. I liked the fact that at no point did this book feel like it was overly religious, instead it was an author telling a fantastic story that really grabs your attention. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I was really impressed with her writing style. It was detailed and imaginative and she created such strong characters. It took no time at all for me to be hooked by the story and I found that I couldn’t put this book down until I had finished it – even if that did mean I was up to the early hours of the morning. I really enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future.

This is a new author for me, and a genre that I don’t dive into much,however this book is worth the chance. A very well written book with developed characters that keep you reading and guessing what the next page brings. The characters, Seth,Sarah, Miriam,Peter all of them kept the story moving along well. This author took her time developing the plot and her writing style will keep you coming back for the next book. Or any other book she has written. I highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed this paranormal story. It is my first book by this author and I look forward to seeing what is next for her. I found this story to be fast paced that pulled me in from the beginning. It is a story full of magic and action. I had no problems relating to the characters. They made the story easy to read and entertaining. This is a story about Miriam. She is at the point that she wants nothing more to do with her magic. Seth finds himself in a new town, a sister with cancer and parents that have just plain given up. These two are about to collide and what happens next you won’t want to miss. I really enjoyed the author’s attention to details that made the story feel realistic. I am glad I picked up this book and I highly recommend reading this and finding out what happens to Seth and Miriam.

This creative read caught me off guard in the best possible way. I wasn’t prepared for the fantasy filled journey that unfolded in a very tangible way. I loved the connection between the characters and the imagery of the world building. It was a great story that completely captured my imagination and gave me an escape that I thoroughly enjoyed.

I love stories that can take me to a new world and place me there with ease. I love a story that is so creative that you think the author has been to this place and is just telling you that story. To have the ability to create a world that no one has ever seen before is amazing. This story centers around a girl who is tired of being seen as strangle and a boy trying to save his sister. They have so much weight on their shoulders that the ending could be tragic. The author weaves a tell full of intense moments. and danger. To either save them or let them go. I really liked how Miriam responded to being rejected yes it hurt but now some of that weight is gone. Seth’s love for his sister is beautiful. He doesn’t give up and you can feel his pain at the thought of losing her. The fact that he has to watch his parents lose hope and yet he still believes shows how much character he truly has.

I have again ventured into a new series and a new author. I have to say that I was not let down. This is the first book by this author I have read and I admit to taking it last minute to help out and found that I am actually hooked and cannot wait for more.
I like how the story and back story are complex and not predictable. I find that the intrigue and underlaying spy and double spy along with the supernatural bits of this book really grab the reader and keep you wanting more. I find that the complexity of the relationship between Seth and his father really adds to the drama. As well as the complexity of the relationship between Seth and Miriam. I really have a love/hate relationship with cliffhangers but the author does really have a good one at the end of this book and I have to say I await with bated breath for the next in the series.

This is my first book by this author. Theresa has a way of breaking through the mental reality of the physical and imagination worlds. Miram is an amazing character. I like how we go through chapter with different POV. This book expresses human emotions, the rites of passage to adulthood, and deals with all the modern day issues we deal with today and I can so related to these issues. Beautifully written story and quite complex. This book is truly captivating and enchanting.

The Liminal Space by T.S. Simons is the second book in the Antipodes series. For me this is a series that really does need to be read in order so you can fully appreciate what is happening. I found this book to be just as detailed and well thought out as the first book. I really love how it makes you think about what it is trying to do. It really helps to draw you into the story even more. Even after reading this book I’m really not sure what I would do if I had the chance to do things over. It is one of those questions that I don’t think you would truly know the answer to until you had to decide. This book in detailed and comprehensive and a really great read. This book pulled me in from the very beginning and I really couldn’t stop reading it. In fact, I really hated when it ended. I wasn’t expecting this to be as riveting as it was but I truly found it to be truly captivating. Honestly, it left me considering my own faith in life. I was conflicted trying to decide who & what was right and wrong. I especially was confused trying to decide who and what should be forgiven. The characters have such depth to them that I felt as if I knew them personally. While written for the young adult genre this book is honestly a great read for adults as well. In fact, I will personally be recommending this book to friends and family to read along with their kids. I think that this is a great book for a family to sit down and discuss because of the views that can make us doubt our intentions as well as the intentions of others. I truly feel that it’s a book that needs to be read and discussed from the forgiveness standpoint alone and how and when it should be offered to individuals. I certainly hope that there is a sequel in the works for this book. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into this garden more!

I loved reading the book The Liminal Space (Antipodes Book 2) by T.S. Simons. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. The author does an amazing job of making the storyline and the characters come alive. The book is well-written, and I found myself turning pages to find out what happens next. The story will make you wonder what you would do in the same situation. This is a book that I got lost in and seemed to be over too soon. I enjoyed reading about the characters and the interactions between them. This is a story that is interesting, intriguing, exciting, and entertaining. Don’t miss out on reading it. It is a book I would highly recommend.
