The Moon in Her Eyes Book Two A Witch’s Tale by Nikki Broadwell
Four Stars
This story was a little confusing. I got lost a lot and had to go back and reread some parts. I did enjoy the story. It was a different direction than most books take. Usually the lead has all this power and stops the bad guy. In this story Em has some powers but doesn’t know how to use them. She isn’t really on board to defeat the bad guy until her man gets involved. I am still not too sure about Helga. She doesn’t vibe right to me. The plot isn’t explained at all doing the book. I’m still trying to figure out what lead to Lourie being this way and why is she after Em. It’s an interesting read with the time traveling and magic.

A Prickly Christmas Kiss, Christmas Kiss Series Book 1, by Allyson R. Abbott
5-Stars
This was such a sweet Christmas romance between Elf and Rudi. I felt like I was able to connect with Elf more while reading since the storyline focused more on her. I also loved Sue the cat. He was precious and played a key role in this novel. The storyline was easy to follow and kept my attention preventing me from putting this book down. I cant wait to read more in the Christmas Kiss series .

Reckless Anthology by Authors Mika Jolie, Kylie Stewart, P.M. Carson, and Sharla Lovelace
5-Stars
Four romances by four different authors all in one! Each was unique and addictive in it’s own way. Reckless decisions that led to a whirlwind of events. I loved all the stories but my favorite was definitely Dirty Martinis. The main characters in each story were developed well. I felt like the story line in Dirty Martinis hit me more emotionally than the others with Rachel’s mom battling cancer. I highly recommend this anthology. You won’t be disappointed!

Healing Danger A Fortis Security Novel Book 1 Fortis Security Series By Maddie Wade ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ This is a suspenseful paranormal romance story. Filled with plenty of suspense.
Maddie Wade has really set this book up well. There will be no spoilers here, as you just need to read this fast paced story. Her characters, both good and evil, will keep you turning the pages. I love all the angst that is between the small family, that make up the Fortis Security team. I also love the angle this story has taken, and look forward to reading the series as it comes available. Never before have I read a story so full and yet so complete. Job well done Maddie Wade!
I read Primogénito first and was pretty confused by it. I finally got the prequel I desperately needed! This book shed so much light on everything that happens in Primogénito that I may actually read that one again. Fans of Stephen King will enjoy these book just for the sheer creepiness of the Fuentes family. It almost would be less terrifying if these books were set in a fantasy world. Damian’s father, Leo, is the first to try an escape the life of ritual and torture that has been his family’s legacy for centuries. Renato will not tolerate this act of betrayal by his son and kidnaps his grandson to continue the family traditions. Damian suffers more than any child should have to bear for the sins Renato says Leo has committed. Jenn is Damian saving grace and even though I’m doing my absolute best to distance what I know about Primogénito so I don’t spoil anything, I still think Jenn is the only one with even a shred of common sense even though she loves a man who has gone through worse than Hell and will carry it with him forever. If you like King levels of dark and twisted, read this first and then Primogénito.

This is hands down one of my all time favorite series. Each story will take you on a whirlwind of emotions but they lead you to the perfect ending.
Eastern Shore Swinger’s Club is the most popular swingers club in the mid Atlantic. If you are part of the lifestyle, this is the club you want to be in!
The one thing I loved about this series is how REAL the conflicts and emotions are. Yes, there are definite sexy times in the books but its so much more. The emotions and issues the characters face is something we all all face with our own relationships. I loved seeing how the characters faced their problems and coming out into their own in the swinging community.
Miss Alexander’s writing is superb! The stories she weaves are nothing less than perfect. Once you read book 1 you’ll be dying to start 2 and 3 right away!

Claiming Her Mates from author Dia Cole is Book 1 in the Claiming Her Mates Series. This was an incredible introduction to this author and I cannot wait to read the others in this series. This has got to be one of the best reads that I have read in a while. I love this take on a apocalyptic world where a flu epidemic is about to wipe out the entire human species by turning them into zombies – what more could you ask for, oh I know 3 extremely hot, sexy alpha males who all happen to be Lykos shifters(werewolves) sworn to protect a beautiful female.
This book was filled with passion, sexiness, action, drama, mystery, & fear. I was captivating and compelled while reading this book. This author has created an incredible imaginative read, full of twists, incredibly lovable and amazing characters and a read that will last with me for quite some time I love it so much I read it in one sitting. Each of these characters brought something brilliant to this story, whether it was how Mason, Gabriel or Liam’s different personalities impacted how they were with Havana, how each of their sizzling, intense and immediate connections with Havana brought an extra depth to this read that I loved.
Another great thing with this book is that it was written in dual POV’s. I love reading it from the characters POV’s as we get to really see their thoughts and feeling from them rather than the other person. I also think it helps connect with a character as you get to understand some of their reasons of their actions!
This read was everything I thought it would be and more! I loved it and now will be eagerly awaiting Book 2 in this series.

A Tangy Christmas Kiss By Allyson R. Abbott Rated 4 stars
Mel is a city girl who has been temporarily transplanted to a farm. She has quite the time trying to learn the ins and outs. Thankfully she has the next door neighbor to help her out. As well as a handsome stranger she met at the airport. I did much chuckling at the antics this poor girl got herself into. I will also say I will never think of lemons the same way again after reading this!
This is a sweet little Christmas story. The characters are fun and interesting. The story dragged for me a bit but the sped up and it got more engaging. I do recommend this if you are looking for a fun, flirty Christmas story.

If you are looking for a sweet, wacky, and whatever can go wrong does go wrong not to mention a romantic comedy all wrapped into a book is A Tangy Christmas Kiss by Allyson Abbott. I have to admit that I am starting to enjoy this Christmas Kiss series. I need to have some comedy in my life and these books are the answer to my comedy needs. Melanie is the main female character and she has become my book best-friend. I love the way she approaches everything. I believe I would be the planner and Melanie would be the fly by the seat of her pants friend. Melanie is out to assist her mom when all that is possible goes wrong does indeed go wrong. Not to mention meeting a Hottie helps out. So in your mind’s eye you see a woman who is helping her mother and everything going wrong mixed with a Hottie who doesn’t speak your language and here is the A Tangy Christmas Kiss book for you.

The Confectioners Coup by Claire Luana is the second book in the Confectioner Chronicles. This series ideally needs to be read in order as it follows the same character on her journey. This author effortlessly pulls you back into Wrens story and the troubles she is facing. With new enemies and a dangerous mission ahead of her Wren has to put her wits and courage to the test once more. This series for me keeps getting better. Each book is a new turn in the road and it is making this a very exciting journey. I found this book to be fast paced and intriguing. I cannot wait to see what book 3 has in store!
Reckless: A Steamy Contemporary Romance Anthology by Mika Jolie , Kylie Stewart, P.M. Carson, Sharla Lovelace. This is an amazing set of stories. My absolute favorite was Mika Jolie’s Layla’s Chance. Its about Layla a high powered attorney who always followed the straight and narrow. On her 40th birthday she is passed over for a promotion that she was sure to get. Fed up with the everything she takes off to Martha’s Vineyard for the weekend and meets a guy named Chance. They have automatic chemistry and she lets loose for the weekend. Will she risk her career and steady life to follow Chance for a relationship. These are such fun stories about being reckless for once in their lives and learning that sometimes breaking the rules is fun!

Heart of a Hunk: A Limited-Edition Collection of Bad Boy, Billionaire and Hunky Romance Heroes is an anthology of stories from some incredibly talented, bestselling and award winning authors. This is one of my favourite anthologies I have ever had the pleasure of reading. There are many hours of engrossing reading to be had inside the covers of this book. There are a huge variety of stories here, from fantasy, paranormal, shifter, contemporary, second chances, friends-to-lovers, suspense, new beginnings, and many more. The characters are also diverse- all wonderfully crafted into unique individual- from cowboy, doctor, demon, bear shifter, panther shifter, gargoyle shifter, billionaires, Journalist, CEO, Firefighter, Gem hunter, and more. So, get comfortable and settle in for some wonderful reading, which will captivate you through every page. There is definitely something here for everyone- you are sure to love this collection as much as I have!
A Demon’s Kiss By: Jocelyn Dex. Cordelia is a trainee Demon Hunter and Argoth is a demon who has been held captive for the Trainees to ‘practice’ on. What happens when this demon turns her world upside down? This was a great paranormal fantasy that pulled me in right from the beginning. I will be on the look out for more of Ms. Dex’s work.
Paradise Found By: Krista Ames. When Bree Tanner and Colby Hess end up stuck in a cabin in the middle of nowhere, sparks fly, feelings are tested, and hearts mended. I really enjoyed this story. It was engaging, with great characters and well written plot. Looking forward to more from Ms. Ames.
No Place Like Home By: Stephanie Morris. This was a wonderful story with two characters who have been through quite a lot. Tabitha is looking for a fresh start and hopes to find it working on a cattle ranch. Aiden Wakefield has endured a lot, which has left him emotionally closed off. Will these two find the healing they need in each other’s arms?
So Into You By: Esme Wilde. This is a shifter romance with an original storyline. It has second chances, angst, drama, and great chemistry. Paisley and Jackson have a history, but an accident caused Paisley to push Jackson away thinking she was no longer worthy of him. Both return to their hometown when they are named beneficiaries in a will, inheriting joint ownership of a lovely old historical homestead. Soon their chemistry is bubbling over, but with secrets between them, what will happen when everything is revealed? I love a great shifter story and this one definitely fit the bill!
Christmas For Two By: Kris Jayne. This is a great office romance that pulled me in right from the beginning. I enjoyed following along with Delilah and Griffin’s as their story unfolded. Delilah once worked for Griffin, and now he wants her to come back and work for him again with his plans. What happens when she invites him over for Christmas? A fun and flirty read!
Small Town Glamour Girl By: Stephanie Queen. Ms. Queen is one of my ‘go-to’ authors and this story/series is a definitely one of my favourites. Julie and Jack were quite close as children, but life took them in different directions. Now Jack is back. Will he remember her after all these years? This is a wonderful story full of the magic of Christmas. Does a small town girl and a big city billionaire have any chance of a future together? You really should read the story to find out. Fantastic!
Hollidae’s Gift By: Dona R. Mercer. Bradley is looking at starting his new ‘adventure’ after an accident destroyed his dreams. Things haven’t been easy, and he’s overcome quite a lot. He’s focused on his new plans and definitely doesn’t need any distractions. But that’s exactly what he gets in the form of Hallidae . Things definitely heat up in this fabulous holiday/office romance.
Believe By: Candace Sams. Christa Holworth has lost her holiday spirit, but one night while she’s at work, an interesting surprise turns her world upside down, testing all her perceptions. This is a delightful story full of magic- with an extra-large helping of Christmas spirit. I really liked this story and look forward to exploring more of Ms. Sams’ books in the future.
Her Holiday Bear: Holiday Bears Series Book #1 By: Marie Mason. Alley Stephens feels drawn to Riverton in Colorado. She hopes to find her happily ever after in the shifter town, just like in the fairy tales. When she meets Jagger Houston, the local sheriff, and Bear shifter- she thinks she’s finally found ‘the one’. But Jagger is a loner who doesn’t believe in love or fated mates. And her certainly didn’t want to be tied down, ever. But you know what they say about ‘never say never’, right? A fun, interesting and well developed shifter romance.
Old Lady By: Eliot Parker. This is a charming, though provoking story that was a bit of a surprise. It was fully developed and had a lot packed into a small space. It didn’t feel rushed or cut short in any way. Well done!
Foxxy’s Christmas By: Allyson R. Abbott. Ms. Abbott easily draws me into her stories, keeping me engaged the whole way through. I love how her characters are fully realised individuals who bring the story to life. There is a little suspense, love, destiny, revenge, drama, and romance. I really recommend anything Ms. Abbott writes, she never fails to deliver, and this story is no exception!
Undone By: Livia Quinn. Elektra Carpenter lost a rare and valuable gem, along with the love of her life. Cass McKay has been searching for a way back into her life for the last year, and now he thinks he may have that chance. He’s determined to make it work, as he can’t lose her again. A great little read!
Gargoyle’s Sky By: D. Anne Paris. Ms. Paris had me at Gargoyle. And I am happy to say that this story lived up to my expectations! Nathan Durand is a gargoyle shifter who is taken by surprise when his ex tracks him down to ask for his help. He hasn’t seen her in 7 years, after she ran off without a backward glance. Now that she needs his help, will he sort out her rogue werewolf problem? A fantastic story with shifters, secrets, trust issues, misunderstandings, assumptions, Chemistry, drama, and second chances.
Snow at Midnight: A Wardens of Midnight Novella By: Helen Scott. Dante is a panther shifter who had a traumatic experience which haunts him, keeping him stuck in the past and unable to move forward. His panther rages out of control, and he needs to find a way to subdue his beast. When Lizzy’s father is kidnapped, she’s unsure what to do. She needs to find him before time runs out. So, Dante enters the scene and things get interesting! A wonderful paranormal romance!
The Diamond Star By: Jane Blythe. This story is one of my favourites from this collection. It is suspenseful and intriguing- with danger, secrets, heartache, drama, and romance. Aurora Kinsley’s world will be tossed on end when her brother’s obsession with getting rich brings danger to her door. To survive, she’s going to have to trust one of the bad guys who have broken into her house. But there is a lot more to the story than first appears. I highly recommend this superb story!
Kissing St. Nick By: Devon McKay. Nick Moretti is a firefighter who’s focused on his career. He doesn’t have time for distractions, especially a relationship. But what happens when he rescues a beautiful woman from a car crash? Will this blast from his past have him questioning his resolve? A fun read!
Running Through Wonderland By: Harper Kincaid. “She walked towards him, her spine a column of steely determination. His head turned. Their eyes met. And that’s when everything in Lulu’s world changed.” I loved how this story had a quote from Alice in Wonderland & Alice Through the Looking Glass (Lewis Carroll) at the beginning of every chapter. They helped to set the tone and mood of the book. Sweet and adorable!
For the Fireworks: Rent-A-Gentleman Series Book #1 By: Rebecca Fairfax. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series! This is a wonderful, sexy, and original story that was a real pleasure to read. This is my first read by Ms. Fairfax, but it certainly won’t be my last. I am limbering up my ‘one-click’ finger to go on a clicking spree asap. Ella is a London Lawyer who ‘hires’ a gentleman for the Guy Fawkes weekend. What ensues makes for fantastic reading!
Candy Kane Kisses By: Sharon Coady. Holly Kane is left disappointed when she finds her (young) adult children won’t be home for Christmas. She decides to book a getaway, hoping to rediscover herself. Her trip takes her to the Colorado Mountains, but when she gets there she finds that she will be staying in the owners home. Preston Carson isn’t happy when he finds his mother rented out a room in the family home to a complete strange, and over Christmas. What happens when the sparks between them ignite? Well worth the read!
Having It All: A Naked Men Novella By: Christi Barth. This is a wonderful friends-to-lovers romance that engaged me from beginning to end. I loved meeting Josh and Annabeth and following them as they explore their attraction. But with both having complicated pasts, and issues to overcome- will they be able to make it work?
Doctor Knows Best By: Suzanne Jenkins. A snowstorm throws Jason and Lily together. But just when things seems that things could work out for them, tragedy rips them apart. Jason will need to convince Lily that their love is worth taking a chance on. Great story. Great characters! Ms. Jenkins writes a fabulous romance that kept me guessing.
A Kiss Under A Blue Christmas Moon By: Tamara Ferguson. A brilliant second chances romance! Ms. Ferguson never disappoints, and this sweet and romantic story is testament to her writing talents. Mia Michaels and Noah Erikson had their chance of finding happiness ripped away from them when Noah joined the Air Force six years ago. Mia is devastated and does her best to move on. Easier said than done. All those years apart, Noah has never stopped loving her. Can he convince her to open her heart to him again?
Christmas With the Millionaire Cowboy By: Joann Baker & Patricia Mason. “Ryan left the house as fast as his cowboy shod feet allowed. He had to get away before he did something crazy like kiss Penny until they both ran out of breath. He wouldn’t even need the damn mistletoe hanging in the doorway to pretend. He was tired of pretending. He wanted to drag her beneath the Christmas tree and see just how naughty he could be.” A steamy stepbrother romance that has a touch of holiday magic- which makes for very entertaining reading!
I went into this book not really knowing what to expect but have now come out the other side totally impressed. All the stories are really quite wonderful and engrossing, with fantastic plots, varied characters who are complex and fully developed- and each story was really well written. There are some very suspenseful, mind blowing twists and surprises; some funny, light-hearted and touching moments; some hot and spicy times, and some tender romance. But come the end of the book you will reflect back with a smile on your face! I really recommend this Anthology- you won’t regret buying it! It is worth every cent of the purchase price- 23 books for the price of one! Now that’s a bargain!

Venganza: The Fuentes Legacy by Greta Cribbs is the prequel to Primogénito and tells Damian’s story. It is a compelling, quick and easy read. There is suspense, drama and intrigue- with were gut-wrenching and heart breaking moments that kept me glued to the pages. I couldn’t look them away because I really needed to know what happened. I devoured it in one sitting! Ms. Cribbs really did a fantastic job with this story. The plot had so much happening in it- but she coordinated it all into an exciting and captivating read. She has such a great eye for detail and a fabulous imagination. I really don’t want to say too much more, because I don’t want to give away any spoilers. I recommend reading all the captivating details for yourself.

Ok, first of all, pink is my favorite color! And second chance romances are right up there. And Christmas romances? They are my jam. So this is just everything. Poor Billie had set down a path that wasn’t for her, and due to stubbornness and misunderstandings, stuck with it. When she runs into her ex, they just can’t seem to communicate- it’s a mess! I love the car, though. And I feel like it was just as much about her finding her place as it was about the love.

A great read about trying again. When her father starts to become seriously ill, Billie leaves her career in New York to look after him and his mechanic company. Whilst there back at home, she starts to look at her life differently. When chance bumps her into old flame Leroy, can she follow her heart and do what is right? A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Billie figuring out what she wants in life I loved the sense of a small town with little shops and cobbled streets and sense of community everyone knowing each other. I also loved the contrasts like city and town or office and mechanic or city streets and the garden which was beautifully written. The only issue I would raise is that there were a lot of long sentences which could be resolved with a variety of sentence lengths to grab the reader at the start. Overall, a great read and I would give it four stars.

Healing Danger is the amazing first book in the Fortis Security series by Maddie Wade. All books in this series can be read as a stand-alone although there is a continuing story running throughout and the series centres around the same group of characters. I however, would recommend that you read the whole series, purely because it is a fantastic series with truly outstanding characters. I first discovered this series by reading books 6 and 7 in the series. I loved these so much that I just had to go back to the beginning and see where it all began. Healing Danger is our first insight into the world of Fortis Security. The Fortis team is made up of ex SAS and Black Ops soldiers with amazing talents. This team is much more than just your ordinary security company though. This book centres around Fortis employee Dane Bennet and school teacher Lauren Cassidy. Lauren’s best friend Claire, who is the wife of Fortis employee Daniel has recently been murdered. In trying to find Claire’s killer, Lauren’s life is in danger as all suspicions lead to Lauren’s evil father who Lauren and her mother had escaped from when Lauren was a child. Lauren has a gift and her father wants her back to be part of his plan to rid the world of all the weak people and start a new world. Lauren and Dane have both secretly had feeling for each other for years and now that Dane is trying to protect her their relationship moves to a whole new level, especially when Lauren is kidnapped. This book is full of mystery and suspense that will keep you gripped from the beginning to the very end and also the added element of romance which makes this book a fantastic read. Thoroughly recommend.

Hope’s Deceit (The Fated Book 2) by Angela McPherson 4 Stars!!!!
Once again I am not disappointed! This is the second book in this series and I as totally hooked from page one. The author brings the world she has created to life . I was drawn back into the world of Trinity and Blain and the Watchers.
The drama just gets better and better in this book as the normal life Trinity is hoping for soon takes a leap out the front window and her life takes a turn. I really found myself drawn in as they try and fight against Melia and the rouges. The author has such a refreshing style and with the twist at the end I am on bated breath awaiting the next book. I will definitely be reading more from this series and this author.
A Prickly Christmas Kiss is a beautiful Christmas present by Allyson R. Abbot, all nicely wrapped up under your Christmas tree (or Kindle). It is the first book in her Christmas Kisses series and I am wondering what else has she gotten in store that would beat this Christmasy story? AND I loved her play on all things Christmas! I mean the names of the couple – RUDI and ELF (Emma Louis Fallon), then there is the shop keeper who looks like a Santa Claus and is called Nick and his wife is called Missis C …. And so on and on … This story is simple but it is filled with romance and magic and snow and … it will keep you at the edge of your seat until you find out who is who and what happens to our resident Rudi and Elf and let’s not forget our Sue, the magical cat …. You will want to pick up a copy, make yourself a cup of hot chocolate and indulge!

A Pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott is the third book in the Christmas Kiss story. This is the story of Billie and Leroy. Billie left her hometown to go to the big city and left behind her family and her boyfriend Leroy. What happens when she returns home after five years? This is a story that explores the miscommunication between people and how we learn from it. The story is a sweet, small-town romance. I enjoyed the characters and how Billie had to explore to become herself. I read this so quickly because I wanted to know what and how everything would happen. This is part of a series but they are standalone books and quite enjoyable. If you need a quick Christmas pick up this book will give it to you.

A Pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott 4-stars
A Pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott is my favorite book by this author to date! This festive read is a shorter one, yet it still had plenty of detail like character introduction and past histories in order for it to feel well rounded. I really enjoyed Billie’s character, she was smart, spunky, stubborn and so caring. She’s certainly a character I would like to read more of in the future!
Allyson’s writing always manages to get me into the Christmas spirit so it’s the best time of year to dive into a book like this. I can’t wait to read more from this fabulous author!

Funny enough, I have read a bunch of these by now but not the first couple. So it’s like going back to how it all started. I’ve seen mentioned in future books all that happened with Daniel and Claire, now I know more of that. I also now have a much clearer picture of so many involved in Fortis. Lauren and Dane are the main focus in book one. They’ve always had a connection but of COURSE he pulls away to protect her. Dumb men, I swear. Lots of action, and it’s just the beginning of the big bad Divine Watchers. If you haven’t dived into this series yet, I recommend it. Such a good read.

A Prickly Christmas Kiss : Christmas Kiss, Book 1 By Allyson R. Abbott ⅘ Stars
This is a very sweet and happily ever after, Christmas story for all ages. This is my first time reading this author, but won’t be my last! I’m looking forward to diving into the next book(s) in the series. Emma Louise Fallon or Elf, as her friends call her, just got ditched by her friend.( But it wasn’t her friends fault, car troubles is no one’s blame. ) So Elf decides to go ahead with the vacation plans… alone in a cold and very isolated cabin, she befriends the towns regulars and magical things begin to happen. You gotta read it to find out what happens next!! Now I’m off to read the second of the series .. can’t wait to see what happens next !!
I loved this book! I love how this author has created a story that pulled me in from the beginning and so true to life characters. The characters are took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions including some laughter. Kat has not been the same since she came back from the war. Her high school sweetheart is determined to help her find herself again. Will there be second chances in their future? What will happen when Kat’s past comes crashing into the present? A must read!

A Pink Christmas Kiss is the third book in the Christmas Kiss series by Allyson R. Abbott and she didn’t disappoint, this is another delightful, sweet holiday romance full of the magic of Christmas, family, secrets, miscommunication, small town values, and wonderful characters. This story pulled me right in and made me feel like was reel and I was there. The characters are well written and their chemistry is remarkable and I loved their quirky ways. Since this is a short story I don’t want to give too much away….. We meet Billie and five years ago she left her small town behind along with her family and her ex-boyfriend but now she is back home to help out her family, Billie is catching up with friends and family as Christmas nears when she runs into Leroy. Shocked to see how much he’s changed, she discovers the real reason he’d couldn’t accompany her to the east. Has five years apart untangled their hearts? Will she get a second chance with him? I highly recommend this story/series….. By Tracy @tracym

It Ends Tonight (Bayou Devils MC Book 4) A.M. Myers 5 out of 5 stars
If you’re looking for a series that gets better with each book then A.M. Myers’ Bayou Devils MC Series is probably what you’re looking for. These books read well as standalone books but I would still recommend reading them all as they’re THAT good. It Ends Tonight was a rollercoaster of emotion and surpassed all of my expectations. The connection between Lucas and Quinn is true but with every love story comes trials and tribulations. Once again A.M Myers had me on the edge of my seat wondering if we would see a happy ending and needing to know what was going to happen next. Another great read from this author and series.

A Prickly Christmas Kiss is a festive, witty and sexy little christmas story that I absolutely adored, and was written by Allyson R. Abbott. As I just love christmas, this little beauty was just the thing to curl up with. I laughed so hard I thought I busted a rib. These characters were so charming and vibrant, the words had me desperate for the next, and the next. I was bewitched by the creative and sassy way this author played with words. It was an incredibly enjoyable experience to devour this too short, but insanely eloquent tale. I had never heard of this author before reading this story. Now my library sure knows. I cannot wait to continue the festivities with the next story. 5 stars.
Venganza: The Fuentes Legacy by Greta Cribbs is a story that goes back before Primogenito and gives you more of an understanding of the characters and story. This book drew me in from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down.
The Fuentes family has secrets. They’ll do what they need to keep those secrets. Not all secrets are easily kept and Damian is proof of that. Due to certain events in his life, Damian feels that his father abandoned him. Whether that’s exactly what happened or not, it’s hard for those feelings not to show up in Damian’s daily life. Will the events Damian experiences interfere with his relationship or does Damian have a bond that can’t be broken with Jenn?
This book and these characters were written with such detail that it feels like you are right there with them. The book was definitely suspenseful and had some scenes that may be difficult for younger readers. This was such a good book to read!
