Finding Juniper is an amazing addition to the Smoke series by Sadia Ash and is the final installment of Juniper and Kyle’s love story. It is wonderfully written and is told in dual POV. I enjoyed the first book and this one is so much more. Sadia’s writing style was even better for this book.
Kyle is wonderfully flawed and complex and at times I wanted to strangle him. Likewise with Juniper, she forced so much heartache and sorrow that I just wanted to shake some sense into her but this tale of their love story is just epic. So much so I found myself thinking I could just skip to the end to know the outcome. But I didn’t I poured over every word, every emotion, every thought and loved every minute of it. We got to see the characters grow and see more of their background and what made them, them.
This unique and powerful story may frustrate you but it is so worth the read. It is one love story that should not be missed.

Several years ago, I saw a cover of this book on Amazon and it wowed me so I bought the book without reading any of the reviews or the synopsis. The first couple of pages dropped my jaw and I went “WTF am I reading?” because I find it impossible to not finish a book I start, I continued reading and to this day it is in my top 5 best books ever. The entire series blew me away and I fell in love with that author, Courtney Cole.
Fast forward a little over 4 years later and I see she has written a new book called Saving Beck. If you have ever been touched by addiction especially as the loved one of an addict then this book will touch you in so many ways. The author takes a very serious epidemic and weaves it into a heart wrenching story on so many levels. This book will showcase how even when you think it can’t happen to your family, you can never predict. It shows that no matter who you are it can happen to you.
This book had me in tears from beginning to end because I could feel the hurt, the questions, the frustration, the pain, the self-questioning and most importantly the realization that no matter how much you love someone, no matter how much you love the addict, no matter how much you give, sacrifice, and try to mend them, only they can mend themselves. Only they can make the end choice to move forward. It reminds you, that it’s not your battle, that you can’t love them out of the addiction, you can’t anger them out of the addiction, you can’t guilt or beat them out of the addiction, and that sometimes all you can do is sit back, love, hope, and most of all pray that it all works out, knowing that not everyone can be saved. Courtney Cole, writes this story with such truth and gusto. Her words grab you by the heart and squeeze. She brings you to tears and to your knees, and makes you “hear” all the things you don’t want to hear as the loved one.

I really enjoy this authors work. Every book is unique and has just the right amount of crazy. I do have to say that Only By His Touch was my favorite book in the series. The characters were very refreshing. Sam and Ethan had a very unique chemistry and history. To grow feelings for someone who you have never met face to face bit have shared so much of yourself with. The other books were just as good. Bryce and Michelle were an interesting couple and I loved how open Bryce was. Emma and Colin had me giggling a little. He waited so long and Lord that was super sweet and scary. She could’ve fell for someone else or not felt the same way about him. Souls Collide: Collide Series Book 3 By Kristina Beck. This story was exactly what I was looking for in a great new read. This is book 3 but can be read as a standalone but I’ll definitely be going back and reading the others after this fantastic story. This author is new to me and I’m definitely impressed with the writing style and characters created. From page one I was completely hooked and couldn’t put it down until the last page. It’s got just the right mix of of suspense and romance making for a very intriguing story. I can’t wait to read more from this author! I’m giving this book a five star review and highly recommend it to everyone.

I am not a fan of Kyle’s. I’m not sure how Juniper put up with him. There were some parts that set this book apart from others. The characters were well written and showed a rang of emotions. I understood why Kyle was so lost. I didn’t really see why Juniper put herself through all the craziness. This is my first book by this author and it didn’t disappoint. I did think some of the chapters were a little long and maybe unnecessary but it worked in the end. I probably would’ve handled the situation differently than Juniper. I believe in second chances but not at the cost of my happiness. I believe in following your instincts but not at the cost of your morals. What a funny, cute and entertaining story. Jamie Schlosser is such a great storyteller and writer. The main characters, Theo and Hadley, were engaging and fun to get to know. The secondary characters were just as funny to read about. There was at least one sex scene that was out of this world hot. Not for the faint of heart. I love the way Hadley “talks” to herself. And Theo really isn’t as bad as the paparazzi makes him out to be, right?
I have read other stories by this author and was hoping for another good read! Luckily, I was not disappointed. I highly recommend this story for readers over 18. It is a standalone and can be read in one day.
This is the first book that I have read by this author and I thought it was really good! This is the third book in the series and has characters that have been in previous books but it can be read as a stand-alone just fine. I LOVED this author’s writing style. I was pulled in from page one and I couldn’t get enough of the main characters and meeting each of them. Kent and Alexa are great MCs and I loved reading their story. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and I think you should absolutely go and read this book!! Happy Reading!

Sadia Ash has finally delivered the next book in the Smoke Series, Finding Juniper. After reading Juniper Smoke, I couldn’t wait to see how this story continued and the author has not disappointed. This stunning conclusion for Kyle and Juniper was the epitome of what a story should be about. This story picks up and you are immediately immersed into all that made the previous book(s) inexplicably amazing. Finding Juniper is fully charged with emotion, desire, longing and choices. FINDING JUNIPER is the third book in the “Smoke Series”. It has been a while since books 1&2 came out and I suggest reading (rereading) them in order as each picks up where the last left off.
This is an epic saga with layers upon layers of action and activity. Told in alternative POVs, this story is told in such a way that I was sucked in from the very beginning. I found myself wanting to skim past the details because I NEEDED to know how Juniper and Kyle’s journey ends.
There were times I wanted to throw my Kindle against the wall and other times I wanted to hug it close. Secondary characters are important members of the story, no detail is spared.

This series is definitely worth the time investment from beginning to end.

This was a fantastic read! I loved the characters, after Locke grew on me, but you’ll understand what i mean when you read it. Tessa is helping those she can while on shift as a Dr. in the emergency room. But when one she helps gets her into trouble , she’s thrown for a loop as to who saves her. But no good deed is ever really free is it? I cant wait to see if this gets more books as I need to know about not just Tessa and Locke, but others in this book as well. I was not ready for this to be over.

The Debt Collector: An Underground Bad Boys Romance by India Kells hooked me from the very beginning and didn’t let go.
Dr. Tessa Freeman was fully expecting it to be a normal night at the ER but she was so wrong. Just one small moment ripples into something so much bigger and you have no idea what that moment means until much later.
Locke is mysterious and brooding and has to have everything in its place. But I think there is something in him that’s a lot deeper that we only caught a glimpse of.
Have my fingers crossed that this is just the beginning of a series, I want to see more of Tessa and Locke but also want to know more about Gage and his story.

Souls Collide is the third book in Kristina Beck’s Collide series. The whole series is a standalone so you are welcome to start with this one, you will not miss out on anything. Of course if you have read the first two books already then you will enjoy meeting the characters from them here as the writer brings them all together. It is the first book I have read by this writer and I know, it will not be the last one! Souls Collide is a beautiful story of two souls meeting – Alexa and Kent. They are as opposite as two people can be – Alexa is the friendly and charmed and positive gal that seems to have it all … Kent on the other hand has seen too much of the darker side of the life as he is a police officer. He has also experienced soul deep loss and that has marked him … marked him in a way that you think he might never get over it. I admire how the writer handles the horrible illness that took Kent’s mother and now has also taken hold of his sister Abby. She gives us Abby who is the embodiment of a resilient human spirit on a journey filled with grace and beauty and courage … She brings us optimism and hope and you will find yourself feeling different towards the ones fighting the disease and the ones who have survived … Souls Collide pulls you in and doesn’t let you go – the deep connection between Alexa and Kent while fighting the challenges together … it shows us that even when the life tries to take us down, it can also bring us together when we open ourselves up to love and commit to it.

I have read so many of this authors books and I think all of these in this series…I love them all..when I saw this one it was a no brainer….and it just might be my favorite of all of them…Well for today it is, I think in a small way each one holds that title.
Brett was awesome, so sweet and carried the friend zone title well, until he didn’t LOL Liv I think is my favorite kind of female lead..She had me cracking up and these people made me want to know them.
I love this author and her writing always grabs me at page 1 and I don’t want to put the book down and this one was no different, I read it in one sitting and actually tried to slow my reading so it wouldn’t end. I really want to go back and read all of these again back to back. I can’t recommend this book and this series and this author enough.

The Only Series by Bree Kraemer is 5 books in this very convenient boxed set! The boxed set included ALL of the books in the series – Only By His Touch, Only With Trust, If Only, Only You, and Only For Love. You could read all of them as standalones but they do complement each other and the main characters are all connected, one way or the other – whether siblings, or friends, or brothers-in-arms or … I love boxed sets as at times when you fall in love with a series it is such a pain needing to wait for the next book and when it is a boxed set you know you are guaranteed hours and hours of deep pleasure! I first fell in love with Bree’s writing when I read her Cedarville series and I always wondered if she’d be able to beat it and yes, she did … she gave us Samantha and Ethan, Michelle and Bryce, Sophie and Kevin, Emma and Colin, Gretchen and Steve … We have five stories of struggles and chemistry and we all feel like part of their stories and we root for them and we laugh with them and we cry with them … It is absolutely a must read!

I give The Confectioner’s Truth (Confectioner Chronicles Book 3) by Claire Luana, 5 stars. **This review contains spoilers from previous books in the series.**
It seems like nothing will be right again. Wren has fought to be where she is today, but where has it brought her? Betrayed by a good friend. While another lays dead from something Wren encouraged. And the man she loves — gone from her and she doesn’t know where — or if he’s even alive. She can’t do this anymore. But the new king may just be even worse than the previous. There is a dark plot going on, destroying what little left Wren holds dear. Can she find the strength to help stop it? Does she even want to try? Or should she just flee?
This series has been absolutely amazing. And this, the conclusion, is no different in that regard. Each book seems to have gotten darker and this is definitely the darkest one yet. There is so much despair, especially in the beginning of the book. But there is also action and love amongst the heartbreak. Not to mention the characters. Many of them are back from the previous books. And the growth they have all gone through is astounding. Some for better, some for worse. Some seem lost, others find their true meaning. Plus there are new characters we meet, both ones we love and ones we hate. Some, we’re not sure about just yet.
Yes, this is the conclusion to this series and is does not disappoint in that aspect. It does bring us a certain kind of closure. But my heart breaks, because I really want to see so much more of this world. Dear author, can we please see more of this wonderful world?
For those lovers of fantasy in a world of action and twists and turns, I highly recommend this whole series.

Surviving the Storm by Virginia Wine is the second book in the Surviving Series. This book can be read as a stand-alone. For me this whole book was about the characters. I could feel the chemistry between them from their first meeting and felt it throughout the book. The author knows how to develop the story and keeps you hooked from the start. I loved the first book but this book was easily even better than the first. Although you do not need to read the first book I would highly recommend you do as it is a great series to read. I can’t wait to see what else is to come.

I will admit that this isn’t my go to genre but I do like to try out new types of books. I have to admit that I did find this book quite enjoyable. The author does a great job with handling the subject matter within the book. I found that I was quite drawn into this book as the drama unfolded in it.
The emotions that Tessa went through and the drama I felt as though I was going through it vicariously through the character. I found that I started to route for Locke the more the book progressed. Sometimes the bad boy isn’t such a bad boy at all and they are the ones that save the damsel in distress. I really liked the author’s writing style and will definitely read more from her in the future.

I was so excited to finally read the conclusion to Juniper and Kyle’s story and it didn’t disappoint at all! I loved every minute of it and read it in only a few hours. The author’s writing was outstanding, you could tell how much thought and planning went into the story and it really was an absolute pleasure to read. I loved how the author kept me guessing the whole way through the story, there were so many twists and turns – I was definitely kept on the edge of my seat trying to guess what was going to happen. The writing was beautifully detailed and I absolutely cannot recommend it enough. This series needs to be read in order as it is a continuation of Juniper and Kyle’s story. I love Juniper and Kyle; they both have their own issues to deal with and through the dual telling of this story I really felt like I got to know them both really well. It is actually really hard to write this review without giving anything away so all I can say is that it is definitely one of my favourite reads of this year and if you have read the previous book then you absolutely need to read this conclusion – you will not be disappointed!

Hope’s Defeat (The Fated book 3) by Angela McPherson 4 Stars!!!!
Once again I have delved into Trinity’s world and once again I was sucked in from page one. The author has such a refreshing writing style. The story just rolls out from the pages and takes the reader on a journey. I couldn’t put the book down wanting to find out what would happen next.
The whole fight against evil even though supernatural is brought to life in this book. I found myself routing for Trinity and Blain. The whole twist at the end just brought the whole book full circle for me. I am such a huge fan of Greek mythology and the way in which the author uses it brings such a refreshing take on it all. I will definitely be reading more from this author and hopefully more from this series.

A great read about opposites. When a black cat crosses her path, Alexa runs into a series of bad luck, including bumping straight into Kent at a hospital. Kent is bitter with the world after tradegy, but Alexa seems to be a ray of sunshine. Will he let her in or push her away in fear? A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Alexa standing up for herself but kind underneath or Kent harsh exterior but kind and sweet or Abby’s positive outlook on life being too short to be miserable. A great cast of supporting characters like Vince as a good friend or Dali as bubbly and loud. I loved the use of visual detail throughout the novel like with the cafe shop full of life and people. Or the colourful nature of Alexa and her kitchen with bright red and soft whites combining together. Or the vivid colours of the headscarves and pillows in bright bold colours against a dark world as a sense of comfort and happiness to Abby and beautifully written. And loved the sweet look on cancer as something with its ups and downs. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

It’s always refreshing to start a book that feels different. Meeting Theo was like breathing fresh air. Getting to know him as an individual was quite beautiful. He had his struggles, like any well-developed character. It was those struggles that keep you wanting to go back for more. Then Eden comes along, and everything just falls into place. I loved everything about Surviving Eden by Virginia Wine. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much I enjoyed the book and characters. And those struggles that I mentioned before, yeah – definitely loved those. I can’t wait to see where the author takes her readers. I’m excited for more.

The Progeny Assassin: A Tarnished Lands Story is the second book in the Forgotten Woods series from PA Wikoff. Now, I have read the first book in the series, The Harrowed Half-Breed, but this isn’t necessarily a requirement to read this one. I do think it set my understanding up better to enjoy this novel much better. In this one we get more of the dark and tarnished lands that we discovered in book one, and I really enjoyed my time with the MC, Lara. I found myself enjoying her even more so in this book than the last. The vividness that Wikoff painted the Lands was just as fantaboulus and detailed that I felt as if I was right there with her 90% of the time and as creepy as that was at times I loved it too. I really don’t want to get into too much of the details of the story and spoil the good parts for you, so for those you will have to scoop up this little read for yourself. While you are at it grab the first one too! You won’t be disappointed that you did! Thanks for another great installment in this series Mr. Wikoff!

This book picks up where the previous book left off. I couldn’t wait to read this book to find out what happens with Juniper and Kyle. When things start falling apart for them, will they find their way back to each other? Their story is one of hope, love and finding forgiveness. I loved their story and the roller coaster it took me on. They are strong, creative and I loved seeing their stubborn side. This is not a standalone, you won’t regret picking up this series. They are a must read!

Colony of the Lost By: Derik Cavignano 5 out of 5 stars
The story Colony of the Lost by Derik Cavignano is a horror book that I loved reading. While reading I had a chill going up and down my spine and was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. It grabbed my attention from the very beginning. It had me reading far into the night as I just had to know how it all ends. I loved reading about Jay, Tim, and Sarah. This trio must work together in order to save the town of Glenwood against a force that is powerful and evil. The town’s children are disappearing at an alarming rate. What is happening to them? Will the unlikely trio be able to defeat the evil or will they become its victims as well? Read this book to find out. The story did a wonderful job of laying out the history of the town and land. The book is well-written with plenty of details. I felt like I was right there with the characters. There are also other characters that you are introduced to and I enjoyed reading about the part that they play in the story and how some of them interact with Jay, Tim, and Sarah. Jay is a man that at first, I had a hard time seeing as someone that could help and be a hero. Then as the story continued, I began to see him in a different light and I was rooting for him to succeed. I have always loved horror stories that include the supernatural and this story is a wonderful example of why. There are times when reading I would have to remind myself to breathe. Highly recommended book.

Lone Wolf (An F.B.I. K-9 Novel Book 1) By: Sara Driscoll 5 out of 5 stars
The story Lone Wolf (An F.B.I. K-9 Novel Book 1) by Sara Driscoll is a book that I loved reading. It is suspenseful and had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. It is a page-turning thriller that I am glad that I read. I absolutely loved reading about Meg and Hawk. They are part of the FBI’s elite K-9 unit. There is a bond between them and I enjoyed that the book explained some of the terminology used by the unit and that the K-9’s respond to. When a bomb is detonated at a government building Meg and Hawk are sent in to help rescue the living and locate the deceased. This is a stressful job and can get emotionally overwhelming. I could tell that having their K-9, their best friend, there with them helped those on this team cope. Who planted the bomb? That is what a task force has been set up to find out and this duo is part of it. Is the bomber going to strike again? If so what or who would his next target be? Will the bomber be caught, or will the reign of terror and chaos continue? Read this book to find out. I love when an author adds in animals to a story such as Hawk. There are parts of this story that are heartbreaking and others that are heartwarming. I also enjoyed reading about the additional characters that are introduced. Some are part of the K-9 unit that Meg and Hawk are part of and others help these two in their investigation. It is always interesting to read about the part these additional characters played in the book and also how they interacted with Meg and Hawk. This is a story that I just couldn’t put down for very long as I just had to know how it ended. This is a thrilling novel that I would highly recommend reading.

I have to say this series has hooked me from the very beginning. I loved the first book and I completely devoured this one.
I fell for Alex and Madison so hard so fast. Alex is completely swoon worthy and Madison is a fighter. She recently got out of a relationship with an abuser. The mental abuse she endured was completely heart breaking but she’s free and that’s all that matters. Even though she’s shaken off that ex, it’s hard to break the mental chains of the abuse. Alex fell for her instantly and would do whatever it took to keep her.
This book had everything. It had secrets, lies, a crazy ex and of course lust and love. This series is so different from what I’ve been reading and I love it. Virginia Wine has a way weaving a beautiful story that will hook you from page 1!

Finding Juniper (Smoke Series Book 3) By: Sadia Ash 5 out of 5 stars
The story Finding Juniper (Smoke Series Book 3) by Sadia Ash is an amazing book that I loved reading. I loved meeting and reading about Kyle and Juniper in the first book and was so excited to be reading about them again. The story has intense moments and dialogue. My emotions were going up and down the entire time I was reading it. There were moments when my heart would hurt for both Juniper and Kyle. They are characters that I care about and I can’t help but want to see them happy. Juniper is strong, independent, and stubborn. She is also compassionate and kind. You can feel the emotional push and pull that occurs in this book. The story had me turning pages as I wanted to know what was going to happen next. What does the future hold for Kyle and Juniper? Read this book to find out. I enjoyed reading about the additional characters, the part that they played in the story and their interactions with Kyle and Juniper. The author has written a book that pulled me in and didn’t let me go until I had read the final page. The story is well detailed and had a smooth flow to it. This is a book that you don’t want to miss out on reading. Highly recommended.
Souls Collide by Kristina Beck a four-star read that will strike you. This is the third novel in the Collide series and they can be read as stand alone as I started this one and was a few chapters in before I realised it was a series, I think each one focuses on a different set of characters and Alexa and Kent are sublime characters, I will eventually go back to read the first two and I have added them to my TBR pile as I like the style of writing, the way the story unfolded was natural and honest, it wasn’t rushed, if I had maybe read the series in order I would have given five stars and when I go back and re-read I will have to adjust. Kent was great, he was one thing at first but the more you read the more you know and understand him and know what a true hero he was.

Bree Kraemer has written The Only Series and it leaves you wanting more. She does an amazing job of writing this series because it can be read separately or in the set of books. She introduces fully developed characters that you can relate with easily. You can see these characters in the real world who are your neighbors and not just in a book. I went through the emotional roller coaster with the characters. All the stories are laid back, casual, and at a relaxing pace. If you are looking for a nice series to read at your leisure this is the series for you.

The Mother-in-Law by Judy Moore is one heck of a read. All I can say is thank god I do not have a mother-in-law. The book is a suspense with lots of drama and a truly evil and vicious, mother-in-law that is a manipulating, conniving, lying witch. It was a bit slow in the beginning but quickly gained my attention as the story unfolded a few twists and turns along the way. You will either like or hate the characters or have a love/hate relationship with others.
The relationship Brad has with his mother was just weird, almost creepy and I so wanted, no needed, to slap some sense into him. Victoria on the other hand is one brave lady and I admired her will.
The ending was sad but intense and I was a little surprised with some and others I saw coming. All in all it was a quick and interesting read.
