The Debt Collector: An Underground Bad Boys Romance by India Kells is a breathtakingly erotic suspense that will literally leave you gasping for breath. I had to drag myself away to do really mundane tasks like bathroom breaks. Life got in the way, but it also slowed down the pleasurable experience somewhat, making way for the sensually slow and agonising burn.

Tessa and Locke. These two deserve many words, but very few come to mind to adequately describe the impact these two deliver. The story was brutally arousing, violent, shocking (in a bone melting way), decadent, honest, transparent while totally mysterious. The apparently unattainable becomes the hunted. The Locke and Tessa dance is intricate, complex and sometimes harrowing, but the experience is more than worth the tension. Then along comes Gage, and the surprises are relentlessly plentiful. I am addicted to this writing style and will devour any books written this way. It draws a reader in on a new level, and you will be left amazed, turned on and desperate for more. 5 stars

I loved this so much! This was a fast paced, quick read in one sitting kind of story. I truly enjoyed the storyline and love how this author has set up the beginning of this series.

This is my first read by this author and I found the flow to be smooth and absolutely can not wait to read more. Well let me rephrase that, I MUST read more after that ending.

I loved the characters and I especially loved how different the story involving vampires was. I have read a lot of vampire stories in the past and was pleasantly surprised at how this one was told.

I highly recommend this story, I’m not going into any details, I went in to this completely blind and this is one of those books I am so glad I did.

Can’t wait for the next in this series.

Holy hotness!! The Debt Collector by India Kells is a scorching hot read. The heat literally radiates off the page. I have previously read, and enjoyed, books by this author, so it was a no brainer that I was going to love this book too.
Dr Tessa Freeman is an ER doctor who helps women who have fallen into the sex slave trade escape from their ‘owners’. As a result of this she is captured by the leader of the slave trade business.
Locke is a sort of mercenary who is trying to bring the slave trade down by pretending to be part of it. When Tessa is captured, Locke does a deal to bring Tessa into his ‘ownership’
What follows is a very hot, steamy story where Tessa and Locke can’t help but submit to their attraction to one another. But this is no simple love story. Locke is also having a sexual relationship with his best friend Gage. Trying to fight his feelings for Tessa he pushes Gage and Tessa together and the 3 of them indulge in some rather steamy sex sessions. Sessions that will leave you very hot under the collar (and in other places too).
If you are very open minded and enjoy a good steamy read then this book is perfect for you.

Beachcomber Gone is the first book that I have read by Stephanie Queen and it was great even though I was lost because stupid me just jumps into reading a great story in the middle. The characters are great I love the way they play off of each other you could tell they belong together.
PI partners Dane & Shana are ready to tie the knot after years of trying to resist their love affair. But their visit to Shana’s hometown in Australia goes terribly wrong when old enemies track her down. Just when Dane thought they would marry, Shana’s gone…
Dane & Shana travel to Australia so that Dane can meet her family, but they land in a minefield of problems. Shana’s mother is being used as bait by an old enemy Shana helped convict in an old police pension fraud case.
Now the case has been re-opened amid speculation that there was an insider involved. Someone is trying to set Shana up to take the fall. Dane and Shana need to find the dangerous traitor inside her old police department and bring them down to keep Shana out of jail–and to keep her alive.
This is a great story I really enjoyed it now I have to go back to the beginning and read this great story..

Wow – This is a quick and powerful read. I’m not going to say anything about the story because I don’t want to give any spoilers.

This story is fantastically told right from the beginning. It hooked me from the first word. I went in blind, so did not know that this was a complete story in 150 pages. There is a depth and weight to this story that is both heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. While it is set in a different time frame that now, it could hold true to today.

I am so torn by this book. I don’t want to give anything of the story away so I can’t do a like/dislike list. What bugs me is that for everything I liked there was a reason to dislike an action as a result of the like. It could have been me and the place I was in when I read it so I’m not going to take any stars away because of it. I feel like I’ve read stories with the same like/dislike seesaw and always enjoyed them.

This story is a slow burn and is very light on foul language and sexy times. It’s more of a PG-17 (yes, I know that’s not really a movie rating). It is a full story with a very strong beginning, middle and end. You can immediately understand that the author had very clear plot points worked out in advance.

In addition to the main characters, there are some fantastic secondary characters who I would like to get to know more of. I see this being an ongoing series that I would enjoy reading.

This is the fourth book in this series. While I have read them out of order as standalones.i would recommend reading them in order.

Kat was raised with a coffee cup in her hands. She loves coffee. Dan owns a coffee shop. He blends his own coffees, making new blends all the time.Seems like a match made in heaven. But nobody has told Kat and Dan. Will these two merge their coffee built romance? Or will Kat spend her Christmas alone?

Allyson R Abbott has wrote a funny little romance. This is a page turner for sure. Her story is clean yet very romantic. The innocent young couple building a relationship around the coffee shop. I live her characters! They could be your best friends. Then to make it around Christmas just adds to her story. This story is young adult safe and just a joy to read. Nicely done Allyson R Abbott!

I love strong characters. Both female and male. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for the RA-RA I am Woman, Let’s all Roar type of power when an author is writing, but I also love when an author creates two equally strong characters whose strengths and weakness so they can each grow both together and individually as people and as a couple.

Alexa knows looks like the typical dumb female. Tall, blonde, big blue eyed. But she is whip smart and knows how to use her big assets., Her big brain that is. She has fought tooth and nail to be at the top of her career and isn’t going to take crap from anyone, let alone some grumpy police officer with a chip on his shoulder.

Kent has had the unfortunate luck of watching this mother die, and now, he might have to watch his sister suffer the same fate. After a crazy string of bad, or not so bad luck, Alexa and Kent keep running into each other and the flame of desires spark, ignite and then burn. Add in with the possibility of Alexa being in serious danger, you have one very hot book.

This book is one for the the reread list! I love this slow burn. I highly recommend this book for lovers of Romance and/Or Mystery Genre readers.

A Frothy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott. This is book 4 of the Christmas series and I loved everyone of them. This is the story of Kat who is obsessed with coffee and a new coffee shop has opened in her hometown. All the different coffees amaze her and the owner, Dan, is kinda cute! They begin flirting but Kat knows its not ever gonna happen but when he offers her a job in the coffee shop she can’t believe her luck. With Christmas coming she has trouble controlling her feelings for Dan and her ex boyfriend Spencer comes back into her life along with her Dad who is trying to tell her how to live her life. Kat is beginning to feel like her world is spinning out of control, she has feelings for Dan but doesn’t want to hurt Spencer’s feelings. She is also trying to make her Dad happy but she’s about to spend Christmas alone because she’s tired of everyone pulling her in 50 different directions. Will Kat find happiness and love or will she be alone again. This is such a good book with a happily ever after!

It is always a pleasure to fall in love with a new author’s work, especially one with the skills of Kristinia Beck. I was swallowed whole with this novel and I loved every moment of it. Souls Collide is the third book in the Collide Series, but I had no issues reading this as a standalone. I just now get the pleasure of going back and reading the other two books in the series. Especially since this is the final book in the series as well.

Alexa Kramer is living her life to the fullest. She has it all; the job, the best friends, a loving and supportive family, and she has the beauty and brains to boot. Kent Hayes, not so much. He lives his life day to day doing what is necessary and hiding his emotional pain. It is because of this that he is mean and off putting. Both of their worlds are about to change when they literally ‘collide’ with one another.

I could not get enough of this story. The emotions I felt were all over the place. One moment I could be on the verge of tears and the next I could be giggling. Beck really has a talent for balancing the emotions so that it doesn’t get to be too overwhelming. There is some topics of disease that gets brought in and this is dealt with in such a way. I thought it was a perfect handle of the situation. It made it that raw emotion without getting to be too much. The only negative I could come up for this book would be that it ended. So now I am off to grab the other two in the series. Thank you for the fantastic read Ms. Beck.

The Something Series by Aubrey Bondurant contains the first three books of this amazing series.

In Tell Me Something we are introduced to Haylee and Josh and the series. Haylee and Josh gave off the chart chemistry from the moment they meet and it only escalates. They have quiet a passionate relationship no matter the emotion they are feeling at the time. I absolutely loved this book and was unable to contain my excitement for the next book.

Ask Me Something is the story of Sasha and Brian. They both work for and are friends with Josh, Brian being his best friend. Sasha and Brain work in different locations but they haven’t allowed that to effect their friendship which continues to build and grow. They are amazing together and as always they don’t gave the easiest path but what a journey.

Bet Me Something is Kenzie and Colby’s story. They are the younger siblings of best friends. She’s Brian’s little sister and he’s Josh’s younger brother. They all grew up together but that didn’t stop Kenzie from developing a crush on Colby at a young age. He steps in to be her white knight when she needed him the most and it went from there. I loved this book and think it is my favorite of the series

If you enjoy romance and some amazingly intimate moments you have to give this a try, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Souls Collide by Kristina Beck is a great read! This is the third book in the standalone Collide series, and it’s also my first book by this author but it won’t be my last! This storyline completely captivated me from the beginning until the end.

Alexa and Kent’s story is intense, twisted, emotional, funny, romantic and shocking all at the same time! Their story had me sitting on the edge of my seat wondering how it was all going to play out.
I loved how there were a few different storylines mixed in with this book and how the author did it in such a way that was easy to follow and not confusing at all. I loved Abby’s character as well, I would love to read more about her and her story in the future!

I look forward to continuing with this series now that I’ve read this one!

I have already read the second book and I guess one could say you could read them as standalones but I disagree … you would lose so so much by ignoring the order. It is not my first read by this writer but I was very surprised when I realized that it is a completely different genre that I had expected and I promise you, it was a great surprise!
A Terrible Beauty is a military romance mixed with romance and suspense. We have the Fallen Eagles MC in the suburbs of Philadelphia and it is fully made up of veterans. Their goal is to help other veterans and their families. Despite of the horrors they have lived and survived, they still give their all to help the other veterans … It is the WAR that is a TERRIBLE BEAUTY and the writer has given us a terribly beautiful story of the demons that Kit Markham has been fighting to overcome for years, the PTSD that is holding her hostage, the pain she is causing to others when she thinks she is actually keeping them safe … and then there is Lee Deveraux, her high school sweetheart and another vet and the only one who is able to offer her peace and refuge … is she ready to embrace it when the demons are coming out to play and will not stop until they have been paid in blood!
I absolutely love the Fallen Eagles MC series and I hope that the writer will keep gracing us with the stories that are as unforgettable as this one … A Terrible Beauty …

I absolutely devoured this series, once I started, I couldn’t stop. I was so invested in these characters and their lives that I fully enjoyed this series from beginning until end.

This series is sweet, romantic, emotional, steamy and oh so hot. It’s the perfect read for anyone looking for an escape from the real world. I will always recommend Bree Kraemer to anyone looking for their next romance read! I can’t wait to jump into my next read by this author!!

The Debt Collector is an Underground Bad Boys Romance by India Kells. I have read many of her stories and I thought I was ready for what she had in store for us but heck no! She took this one onto a completely different level!
The Debt Collector has so many layers, so much emotion, so much has been taken from the world around us … We have Dr Tessa Freeman who is not your average doctor, she is saving the girls who end up in her ER and have been escaping the slave ring … she does not think of her own life, it is her duty to help them and unfortunately no good deed goes unpunished … so she is taken to ‘work off the debt’ of the girls who are no longer there to ‘work’. She is saved by a mysterious Locke who she had treated when he came to the ER with some knife wounds … What does Locke want in return? How will he have her to ‘work off’ her debt to him?
I promise you will not regret picking up the Debt Collector, you will spend couple of very enjoyable hours with Tessa and Locke and …. Cage … the third party in this triangle/menage a trois … not a dull moment! But is this just a story filled with steamy scenes or is there more than what you see on the surface? Is there future for the three of them together or will someone be left behind? Pick up the copy and find out for yourself! I hope it is just the first in the series …. Is it a series … I am sure we will find out soon!

Its the story of P.I. partners Dane & Shana who have decided to finally get married. The story revolves around them going to Shana’s home to meet her family and of course it goes as wrong as it possibly can. Shana’s mom is being used as bait in an old case of Shana’s about police pension fraud. The case gets re-opened because they think someone on the inside was involved. They are working to keep Shana out of jail and to solve the case all in the process of trying to get married. This is a fun contemporary romance with lots of action.

Leaving Jackson Wolf is the first book I have read by P.A. Kane. I would definitely read more, because I really enjoyed this story. It is short, but has so much deep content. It is a coming of age story, but with more intense content. It is the story of Jackson Wolf and James McDougal, two teenage boys who started a friendship over being bullied. During the story, other teens are introduced, and they each seem to bond over their drunk fathers and rough lives. Jackson is biracial and his mom split when he was young, and he is left with an alcoholic, abusive father. James is scrawny and smart, so bullied for being a nerd. They soon become each others shoulder to lean on while they both go through some rough times, including breakups and losses of friendships and family members. Jackson learns to find strength in the strangest of places and what started as a chance, and reluctant encounter, was the change in his life he needed.

This is one of those books that I was able to relate to on so many levels, it gave me a pit in my stomach.

I believe this is the first book I’ve read by this author and I love how she threaded the story together. It’s told in a first person narrative with a break in the fourth wall at fantastic times.

The characters in this story are well developed and multi dimensional. Their behavior is age appropriate and they weren’t pigeon holed into traditional stereotypical behavior. Each character is part of the over all story and it never feels like something was added as a word filler.

I was able to read this book cover to cover in one sitting and I will be checking out other books by this author.

For the Love of Laura Beth is the fourth book in Aubrey Wynne’s Chicago Christmas series. It is a great story that takes place in the shadows of Korean war. The writer has taken this era and meticulously brought into life – I can close my eyes and picture the people and places she is describing. You don’t have to read the other stories in the series as this is a standalone story taking place in Midwest (like the other Chicago Christmas stories).
For the Love of Laura Beth is the story of Laura Beth Walters and Joe McCall – they grew up together and Laura Beth fell in love with Joe when she was just 6 years old. It takes a while but Joe notices her and it seems as if they would get their happy future but … first Joe’s mother dies of cancer and then … Korean war comes calling and Laura Beth decides to go against her father’s wishes and marries Joes before he leaves for the war.
The writer gives us such a clear picture of what women’s place was in the 1950ies, what was expected of them and what the consequences might be if they chose different … it also gives us a deeply touching story of a love between a woman and a man and what it takes to overcome family tragedies …
If you yearn for an emotional read about love that can endure anything, then pick up For the Love of Laura Beth!

This book is sizzling hot! The sexual encounters in this story will set you on fire. The chemistry between Locke, Tessa and Gage is incredible. Tessa is a strong, independent woman who manages to get herself in serious trouble. Locke succeeds in saving her but Tessa is now indebted to him and he always collects his debts. Locke is a very complex character. He is very serious and closed off with a touch of OCD. There are reasons for the way that he is. Gage is a monster of a man. He’s a giant sized muscled machine who cage fights for fun. He’s rough and tough but we find out his soft spot. I loved all the characters. Each one was unique and they complimented each other. There was drama and some action and many heated moments. There are scenes that are explicit therefore I would suggest a mature audience but it is so worth it. I really enjoyed the book and am looking forward to reading more about these characters. Hoping the next book centres around Gage.

What a high emotional impact this story had on me. I couldn’t help but cry. The author really knew how to make you feel the words on every page. Laura Beth is a very strong character and I felt like I was walking in her shoes. The amount of faith she had was amazing. She held onto her beliefs and didn’t let fear stop her. Joe was amazing as well. He stood by Laura Beth even when he was exhausted and doing all the work. The amount of love they had for each other was something we all hope for. This story will have you kissing your kids and thanking the Lord for everyday.

The Crazy Yates is a delightful Christmas novella by Kimberly Packard. It is only about 60 pages long but it is filled with magic of what a real family and magic of Christmas is. The writer has packed a full story into those few pages and at no point did I feel that it was a rushed job, we had the beginning, middle and end and it also made us more curious about whatever happened to the mother and whatever will happen to Callie, what her dreams will be and where the life takes her.
I loved the unconditional love that Callie had for her family, how she simply did what had to be done and how she also had lost herself and how she needed to be reminded of what a true family is … Thank you dear writer for giving us a reminder and I did go and call my mother and talked to her for a long time after I had finished the book.

The Debt Collector was one part darkness, one part suspense, ten parts extreme heat! Yowza! I mean, you kind of could guess that from the cover. But basically, there’s Tessa, who gets herself in a sticky situation and has to work something out with Locke, who can be hard to read. Is he good? Can she trust him? Then there’s his friend. Oh and they are all so very friendly. I enjoyed this and appreciated how Tessa didn’t back down when it came to demanding to be treated well.

Hope’s Defeat by Angela McPherson a five-star read that will tell you the story. This is Fated book three, and each one builds on the last and grows the story. This one was the most intense of all three, as it brings us the conclusion. Trinity has blossomed as I’ve read her story, it will keep you in suspense and have your jaw dropping with wonder. There was something about Trinity that kept me reading, she has great qualities and really shows us what a great writer that Angela McPherson is.

A Frothy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R Abbott is the forth book in the Christmas Kiss series and is a great feel good story. This book follows the story of Dan and Kat and that one thing can lead to a misunderstanding and may put the relationship on a crash course.

Kat loves all things coffee and when a new coffee shop pops up she is in her elements, it also does not help that the owner is absolutely gorgeous, there is certainly abit of flirting going on and they seem to be into each other.

But when Dan has to rush off, Kat is left wondering where the relationship is going, until Dan asks her to work in the coffee shop. Kat can not resist to work with Dan but she finds it hard to be just friends with him. As she struggles with her feelings for Dan and unexpected person from her past turns up and which way will Kat go?

I love this series, its full of light hearted, romantic loveliness, the story is well written and its a great fast pace. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
