Hang On To Your Shirt Tails (Chasing Tails Book 2) by C.A. King – Review by Angela Hayes

Hang On To Your Shirt Tails (Chasing Tails Book 2)Hang On To Your Shirt Tails by C.A. King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hang On to Your Shirt Tails is the second book in the Chasing Tails Series by C.A. King. This is a fantastic paranormal fantasy- with adventure, action, danger, shifters, good vs evil, romance, family, loyalty, determination, survival, hidden agendas, drama, and mystery. It is a very well written, intriguing, and engaging story- as I have come to expect from Ms. King. The characters are quite complex, fully developed individuals with their own unique personalities, quirks and flaws- and written so well that they were entirely realistic and believable.
I really recommend reading Book One before beginning ‘Hang On to Your Shirt Tails’- as this story continues from the first book, and a lot of world building, character introductions, backstory, and other important information is contained there- which I think you should know to fully understand and appreciate this story.
This is a short story with a fast pace- which makes it a quick and easy read. I was drawn into the story right from the start- and was fully invested in the characters and the outcome of their story.
After the events in book one, Brodie and Tails found themselves with an insta-family, and so retreated to an isolated area, for the safety if afforded them. It has been a steep learning curve for all of them- and being so isolated has created issues of its own. Soon their safety is threatened, and they are forced to flee. But as we discovered in book one, shifters aren’t given a warm welcome in this world. They are going to have to become quite strategic and form some alliances if they are to survive the days ahead. But who can they really trust?
Such a great read, and I can’t wait for book three to continue the adventure!

Thank you, Ms. King!
