Figure in the Flames(Hero High #1-3)by Mina Chara
5 out of 5 stars

Book 1Denial: The main character Friday seems to follow her own drum and is finding out that strange things are happening around her. The secondary characters and the main character are interesting, and I enjoyed the interactions and their quirks.

Friday’s father finds out she has powers, so he sends her to the most famous school for powered people in the world, Hero High. Now she has to live at the Super Structure, and let cameras follow her round every day. She never knew how many expectations they had for powered people. Does she fit in? Dos she wants to be a superhero. Can she live with the cameras following her daily?

Book 2 Anger: Friday Fitzsimmons is in her second year of hero high. She is living at the superstructure its risky and invasive, especially when trying to figure out where two new real super villains come from. I can’t let the cameras see what I’m doing, because I’m pretty sure they’re in on it, and people are getting hurt.

Will Friday figure out the truth before its to late? Will she be able to trust any of her peers? Are they out to get her? Will she make it past her second year of hero high?

Book 3 Bargaining: This is Friday Fitzsimmons story and is set in the near future world of Icon City, a place filled with powered one-percenters, She finally joined the gold team, the producers even like her now, but it feels like she has abandoned everything that makes a good hero, in order to be a good hero.
Everything is going wrong for her she still doesn’t know who to trust and people aren’t what they seem. Every move she makes to uncover the truth is defeated by forces she cannot even see. But she will not give up.
Will Friday find out the truth? Will she learn who she can trust?

You will need to read this great story to find out…..
