Trey: European Redemption (Russian Mob Chronicles Book 7) by Shandi Boyes – Review by Karyn Taylor

Trey: European Redemption (Russian Mob Chronicles Book 7)Trey: European Redemption by Shandi Boyes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Trey is the 7th book in the Russian Mob Chronicles by Shandi Boyes. Some of the books in this series can be read as a standalone and this is one of those. I had previously read some, but not all, of the books in this series and did not feel that I was missing any relevant information to allow me to understand and enjoy this book.
I first became a fan of Shandi Boyes when I read the Enigma Series as I loved the gritty characters and storylines that she writes and this book is exactly that. The storyline is dark and gritty and the characters are equally hard and gritty. K has to be one of the gutsiest and determined heroines I’ve ever read. When you read just how much she has gone through in her life, you can’t help but be amazed by her grit and determination. I also adored Trey. He may be a ruthless killer but K brings out a whole different side of him no one has ever seen and he never knew he was capable of.
This book is filled with so much danger and intrigue. You are pulled in from the very first page and this book just does not let you go. ‘Page turner’ does not do it justice. I did not want to put this book down, it was so good.
