DEADLY WEAPON (Jake Wolfe Book 5) by Mark Nolan – Review by Kerry Baker
Deadly Weapon by Mark Nolan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Deadly Weapon by Mark Nolan is the fifth book in the Jake Wolfe series. This book can be read as a standalone although I would recommend reading it in order as it follows the same character throughout and I feel you would miss of a lot of the previous development.
I found this book to be a really intense and thrilling story to read. I instantly got straight back into the character of Jake, almost like I had gone from one book straight into the next. Their new mission is one that is scarily close to home right now but for me I think that just made it all the better. You couldn’t help but draw parallels between the 2. But the credit really does have to go to the author for creating a book that feels so real that it is like you are there with Jake.
This series really is a fantastic one to read. Each book just gets better and better and I am always excited to pick up the next book. I would definitely highly recommend not just this book but the series as a whole!
