My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Shattered Snow by Rachel Huffmire is an interesting read and would be perfect for teenagers. It’s hard to write a book that is suitable for both teenage boys and girls, but I would say this book is suitable for all.

Shattered Snow is a retelling is a fairytale classic. The story hasn’t just been reimagined, it’s been turned on its head and retold in a way that is both exciting and unpredictable.
Set in the future, we get a glimpse of how life could look in 2069. I’m not sure the world will be prepared for time travelling, especially as we already know…changing the past can have devastating repercussions on the future.
Kelston, aka ‘The Mirror’, runs an underground operation. His goal is to use time travel to help rescue people throughout history. He is joined on his mission by Lilia, a mechanic from Russia, and together they set out to change the course of history.
I loved this story. It was action packed from the start and had me hooked. I would have loved to have got to know the characters a little better, but this story is definitely with reading no matter what age you are.
