Guardians of the Garden by Theresa Pocock- Review by Shadel Ayerbe

Guardians of the Garden (Guardians of the Garden, #1)Guardians of the Garden by Theresa Pocock
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Guardians of the garden by Theresa Pocock in a story full of magic and love. The magical experience of folklore made it all that more enjoyable.

All it takes is one bite of an apple. Miriam has had enough of guarding immortality. Miriam has been rejected by her family and the other Guardians, and all she wants to do now is abandon Edenia and her weird, intrusive sorcery. She will be free from the greenhouse, free to live her own life, and free to forget that she is a freak in the outside world. As Seth Johnson’s sister’s cancer progresses, their family relocates to the United States in the hopes of saving her. That, however, is not the case. Seth finds himself in Edenia, a small town with parents who seem to have given up. Seth swears to go to any extent to save his sister, even if it means stealing secrets, betraying parents, or putting his own heart at risk.

Every page was exciting and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. It is a very unique story. The story really transports you into their world. I couldn’t put the book down.
