I struggled a bit deciding on 4 or 5 stars for this story. It was written very well and was as usual what I expect from this author. I love her books and it read really easy, smooth, and quick. Although a bit predictable it was still a fun story to read. On the other hand it was too quick for me. The transition of enemies to lovers happened a bit too quick and I did not get that build up feeling while it was happening. I was also left totally unsatisfied because the story seemed unfinished. I was hoping for an epilogue that took place in Vegas and that did not happen.
It was only 39 or 40 pages and I wish it had been more like 70 and more of the story was told. I found myself more interested and looking forward to what was going to happen in Vegas and after then what I was actually reading.
So in a nutshell, I loved the story and the writing. I just wanted more of it and more of the build up.

Witness is the ninth book in the Ash Park Series by Meghan O’Flynn. You can read this book as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading this series from the beginning. Meghan is one of my go to authors and she really delivers on crime thrillers. This book had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I love when I don’t know who did it until the end and Ms. O’Flynn is a master at this. This book is fast paced, chilling, thrilling and brilliantly written. Can Dreams Come True by Krysten Lindsay Hager is book one of The Cecily Taylor series. This is the first book I’ve read from this author and I wasn’t disappointed. This book is a YA coming of age story.
Cecily’s story was sweet but was definitely filled with just enough drama and angst to keep you intrigued. The book is so well written that you can feel the emotions as though they are yours. Cecily is so relatable to really any age. She just longs to feel accepted, as I think many of us do. I wasn’t sure what to expect going on to this book but I’m glad I read it! I can’t wait to see what book two has in store!

I really enjoyed Best of my Love by N.D. Jackson. The characters actions were a little confusing sometimes, but overall, I enjoyed the fact that each was going through their own personal struggles.
Andrea, or Dre as she prefers to be called, is obligated to go back home to help her best friend and her best friend’s kids after a terrible situation. She hadn’t been home in about a decade because the last time she was there she was betrayed by the person she loved the most.
Erick messed up big time all those years ago. Now he may have the opportunity to win Dre back, if she would even speak to him.
Admittedly, Erick’s act of betrayal is a little confusing, but I dont think overall that took away from the story. Even though Dre was a really tough character I liked that you could easy follow her personal growth through a few different areas if her life. The story kept me interested and I didnt want to put it down – what more could you ask for!

When you are face to face with you idol absolutely love, will they live up to the expectation or crush your heart?
Cecily is full of excitement for her friend who is going to audition for a music video, but when that pop star is your heartthrob, oh my how can this day get any better. The production team are looking for the girl next-door not the new big thing and approach Cecily to do the video, when she accepts has she put a wedge between her friend.
As the video goes on she feels more and more comfortable with Andrew Holliday who would have thought her and this big pop star but as they start spending more time together she finds out there is more to this person than meets the eye. She feels he knows her better than anyone else and that becomes unnerving.
As soon Andrew sees her he knows she is special but with her having a boyfriend already can he play the friend in this relationship and wait until there is an opening to show her more than the pop star.
This is the first book I have read by this author and really enjoyed the teen angst and flowing story between these characters. The story is full of the what ifs, jealousy and the pains of growing up, making mistakes and trying to figure out what you want to achieve in both love and life.
The characters were well written and I really enjoyed the interactions between the characters, the soul searching had an element of try honesty and I felt jumping in with answers and questions along the way. For a first book in this series it opens the window to this series for me to want to read books and see where the author takes this great start.

When you think its a simple Breaking and Entry call, Oh boy how wrong was Edward.
Edward has been through a lot in this series and normally I would give a brief overview of the book but too be honest I don’t know where to start or want to give anything away. This book is another winner and with characters so rich and full of flaws and angst you are in for a brilliant read. If you love the physiological aspect within a thriller then you will love this book and this series.
I love the character of Edward but please no more destruction to him, I feel like I’m going to have a breakdown for him, but with everything that happens he seems to brush himself off and carries on as a compulsion he needs to help.
This book is a well thought out, twist upon twist and turns which will have you re-reading places to make sure you have not missed any hints or major plots as this is compelling from the first word to the last. I pride myself in at least by the middle of the book having a clue who or what will happen but Ms O’Flynn you had me guessing all the way through to a god honest Oh my moment at the end. I love the way your writing is intelligent and does not pander to the audience you make us work for the conclusion which is what you want from a great thriller. Although you could read this as a stand alone I would not recommend it, there is snippets of the characters pasts which it would be better to have followed through the journey with them to understand and to be honest why would you skip some of the best thriller stories I have ever read.

Ive been waiting for the next book in this series and it didn’t disappoint! I really enjoyed reading about Hacker and Marie and the twists and turns they have to go through. I cannot wait to see which is next in this series!

I really loved this book; it is a Victorian romance retake of the childhood fairy tale Beauty and the beast. The story is centered around three girls, Lily, Rose and Poppy and Rose’s romance with a wealthy rude beast, Sir Griffin. Their father, obsessed with a rose called Mab’s perfection attempts to steal it from Sir Griffin, and later loses all his three daughters to him in a gamble for the rose. The three daughters take up work in Sir Griffin’s household to pay off their debts, Lily becomes the official housekeeper, Rose takes charge of the garden work and Poppy becomes his unwarranted secretary. But Rose starts falling for Sir Griffin and the beast also softens towards her. But there are obstacles for their romance to succeed and the curse on the house and Sir Griffin to be lifted. This is a very charming story and has all the elements of the fairy tale intact. The beast is rude, the house has its magical charms, the garden holds the magic flowers and the library has the magical books. But unlike the fairy tale the book has three sisters instead of one, and then there is a deceptive fairy magic which is at work to blind Sir Griffin from seeing his true love. I enjoy books from Byrd Nash, it has a dash of the Victorian romance twist to the fairy tales and it is a feast to read. Looking forward to more from this author.

KJ Holliday is a new author for me. I absolutely loved this book from beginning to end. I can relate to a few things when it comes to the outdoors and camping style, but no way I am tent type of girl. This book was romantic, funny, steamy and had some seriousness as well. The characters were perfectly designed and entwined in the story so easy. I highly recommend this book.

Hacker: The Mercenaries Series Book 2 by Nadine Travers is a romantic suspense story. This tale is intriguing and action-packed, steamy and thrilling. It is a sit on the edge of your seat, roller coaster ride page turner. The characters were complex and well developed and likable. It was an entertaining adventure that you don’t want to miss.
Hacker and his buddies/team have a job to keep Marie and her sister safe and alive and out of the hands of the mafia.
Sons of Sindicato: Seth and Shaw by Cam Johns & Sonya Jesus is a awesome first book in a series!! Braelynn Shaw’s character shines through from the beginning. She is excited for her new role but something happens that changes things and her life seems to be pointing in a different direction. Seth finds Shaw in a situation he never expected. His strength shines through to help Shaw when she needs it most. Overall, the interaction between the characters kept me wanting to find out more! I really enjoyed reading this book and I will definitely be checking out other books written by these authors.

10 Days by KJ Holliday was a great read! I was enthralled from the first chapter and didn’t want to put this book down. It was witty, realistic and romantic all the way through! The characters were super relatable as well, and I felt like I was right there, camping with Alex, Penny and Luke. I enjoyed reading this story, and watching everything unfold. This plot and storyline was great and I can’t wait to read more from this author in the future!

This story is intriguing and layered and gives us blurred realms of history and myth, past and present. Neil takes us undercover in a deadly world we can only imagine or perhaps we don’t.
Our MC is an undercover police officer and his world is one of lies and secrets to himself and to others. His next assignment is to infiltrate a terrorist group. This is the second book in the Antipodes Series and it was just as intriguing as the first book. The characters are well developed and the book is easy to read. The story keeps you hooked all the way through as you follow the journey of the characters as they adapt to their new way of life.
Cam has matured in this book and after hearing that someone he loves could still be alive he sets out to find them. The journey is challenging and makes him question things he knows and thinks about love and loyalty. The main question is if given the opportunity to redo life would you take the same course with the same mistakes or would you change your plans maybe for the better or maybe for the worst.
It’s a really thought provoking theme and set in time when the world is destroyed by a disease and only few people surviving its an interesting concept.

A Tennis Pro to Die For by Judy Moore is the third book in the Cozy Mysteries to Die For series. This is a nice, quick read and great to return to the familiar characters of Beck, Lizzie, and Devon. This can be read as a standalone and completely enjoyed. I have read the other books in the series and it is nice to have the recurring characters and see how they are changing as the series progresses. I read this quickly and was left wanting the next book in the series. I enjoy the characters and the odd murders they find themselves involved in. This is a great getaway book to get your mind off of all the craziness of the world and allow yourself to find yourself elsewhere. I hope there is more to this series and look forward to more from this author in the future.

The problem is his real world and his undercover world are blending to create a muddy mess. He is falling for Ayesha, but does he betray his country or break his own heart? I loved that this book included a lot of information on history and religion.

The World Beyond the Walls is the third book in the Natural Forces series. While it could be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading the previous books in the series. It is easy to get lost in this story right away. You feel like you are living the adventure with the characters. The world building is excellent and the twists and surprises will keep you turning the pages. I read the whole book in one sitting just so I could find out how everything turned out. I enjoyed the way the paranormal elements were woven into the story – very different than most paranormal books. It’s a wonderful blend of fantasy and paranormal storytelling.

Like I said, this was a fast read but it was enjoyable. I would like more of the story…like what happens in Vegas.

Best Of My Love (Love in Emerald Creek) by N.D. Jackson. This is a great second chance romance. Its the story of Dre who swore she would never come back to Emerald Creek but when Shayna her best friend forever calls her needing help she returns. When Dre lived here before she feel in love with Erick and he broke heart now she has to see him and its killing her. When Erick sees she is back in town it breaks his heart all over again as well cause he knows he’s the reason she left. He never meant to hurt her but he made a mistake and was trying to do the right thing. Even doing the right thing broke Dre’s heart and it didn’t work out in the long run. Dre wants to hate Erick but the pull of chemistry between them is too strong. She is mad at herself for wanting to get back with Erick. Will she be strong and stay away from Erick or will she let her walls down and try again? Read Best of my love to find out!

I loved this sweet romance and retelling of Beauty and the Beast set in a Victorian England in 1890. This is a really original and unique take on a well known and loved fairytale. With a mix of historical romance, fairytale fantasy and sweet romance this story had me happily turning the pages and I read this novella in one sitting. This was an enjoyable and lighthearted read with plenty of humour in the narrative and the storyline was a twist on the traditional tale as old as time. Three sisters have to intervene so they can determine their own fate when their father loses a game of cards to the local recluse, Sir Griffin Garrick. Lily, the oldest is not afraid of hard work and so takes over as his housekeeper, Rose loves the outdoors and so works in his forgotten garden whilst the youngest, Poppy acts as his secretary. The three sisters find the reclusive’s house strange as it’s full of books on magic and rooms that keep moving. Out of the three women it is Rose who could be the key to unraveling Griffin’s curse but first he must recognise what is real and what is fairy magic. I loved the descriptive narrative and wonderful world building throughout this novella and it made me feel immersed in the story. The storyline flows well and the characters come alive due to the authors vivid descriptions of them. A lovely heartwarming and engaging read.

This book is the fourth book in the series from Linda Maria Frank’s Annie Tillery Mystery books. They are categorized as a young reader book series. However, if you love to read “young adult” books like myself, then you will absolutely love this book and her series. I LOVED THIS BOOK! I would give it 10 stars if I could. I loved that it took me on a mystery back to the World War II era involving a crashed plane and its missing pilot and her treasures. I thought her storytelling of the mystery solving processes in this era were fantastic because they certainly didn’t have all the technology back then that they do today. I think that for children it’s especially important for them to be able to read about the differences in the eras and how the processes were so different in solving the mystery. In my opinion, I think that young adults of all ages will enjoy this book. Even though this is part of a series, each book is a stand-alone and you don’t have to read in any order. I think these books should be available in all school libraries and the kids’ reading lists. I look forward to the reading the next book in the series.

I was looking forward to reading this third book in author Judy Moore’s ‘Cozy Mysteries To Die For’ series having read and enjoyed the previous books and I was not disappointed. Back with what now feels like old friends, the main characters Beck O’Rourke, her grandmother, Miss Alice, and Beck’s younger sister Lizzie are all present. As well as running ‘Beach Reads’ a bookstore and coffee shop Beck’s also likes to investigate mysteries and crimes. In this story Lizzie has persuaded Beck’s into taking tennis lessons and to make things worse for Beck’s who does not like the heat it’s the middle of a hot South Florida summer. Whilst Lizzie is sporty, Beck’s would rather sit in the shade and watch but when one of the racquet club’s tennis pros is killed by a hit-and-run driver Beck’s helps investigate the murder along with police detective Devin Mathis. I already loved the main characters as they are very likeable and relatable and I have enjoyed the character development throughout out the three books. Each character brings something different to the story and the interactions between them all are very realistic. The storyline flows well and the plot twists and turns kept me guessing until the last page. The descriptive narrative made me feel immersed in the story and I felt like I was investigating along with Beck’s. This was an enjoyable and engaging read which had me hooked from page one. Although each book can be read as a standalone story the main characters do crossover and I would personally recommend reading the whole series to really understand the backstory.

This is the first in this series that I have read and I’m now left wanting to read the others. An enjoyable, captivating read I was gripped from chapter to chapter wanting to know what was coming next in the story of the Hatti Land’s Great King. The plot was well thought out, evenly paced and easy to follow whilst still keeping my interest. An action packed yet emotional read I found myself getting caught up in the story and was a tad sad when I realized I had come to the end of the story. This book is perfect for lover’s of historical fiction who enjoy battle scenes and romance.

Cam Mackintosh is back in the second installment of the Antipodes series and he is happily living on Lewis with his family and adapting to the changes within it, he still hasn’t fully recovered from the experiences of going through the tunnels and how his body felt while he did, but he tries not to think about it if he can, but he is more scared by the upcoming change in his life, but as he is listening to his friends advice about the situation, he definitely still feels unprepared. He finds that he reminisces about his family before the virus more as he thinks about them all and what examples he can take from it, as well as thinking about how different his wife’s upbringing was and how that will be useful in the future as well. He is also remembering his last lot of travels to Ireland and the people he spoke to there, especially what he learned from one person in particular about the portals and how they work, as well as who may have created them, it was an in depth conversation, but he now he knows more information, he was able to share it with his community on Lewis when he returned. When he returned last time he also realised that this is where he was meant to be and where his home was, including the woman who was waiting for him there.
As life continued on in the community, Cam is the happiest he has been in a long time and although he has had a lot of work to catch up on in the greenhouses and the orchards, he has been the most settled he had been in a long time too, that is until he bumps into someone and a whole flux of memories come flooding back, he escapes to his spot in the hills to think about what he has just found out and ends up confronting old feelings and learning things that he has wanted to know for over a year, this will hopefully bring some closure to the past, but instead it opens up a whole new can of worms. As a community meeting is called, some more surprising information is announced by a group from another community who have returned from their travels and he learns that there were other communities established in Australia which has less strict requirements and as such that there is a possibility that other people may have survived in other domes, but when a list of people is produced and a certain name jumps out at him, he knows that he has to take another trip through the portal and take a chance to see if this person is still alive, but this means leaving his family and he is not sure if he can do that, however, he is encouraged to go.
As a small group prepares to set off on this new adventure, will they find what they are looking for and discover whether the rumours of other domed communities are true, or will the time Cam spends away from his family be its undoing? In this dystopian adventure, you go on an emotional journey across the world to uncover secrets which could change the groups world view and experience everything with them, prepare for a journey through a bleak world to see whether there are any lights at the end of the tunnel.

I enjoyed this young adult story. This is a story that would be great for any young adult who is looking for an adventure. This is a newer author for me, I can’t wait to see what is next for her. This is a well developed story that has pirates, creatures, magic and is just full of action. The characters are great, strong, and creative. They took me on an adventure and I enjoyed watching their growth. I had no problems relating to them as they brought the story to life on every page. The girl in this story is faced with choices but will the ocean Light make her question if she made the right choice. The Light is dangerous, full of power and calls out to the girl. What will happen next? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens with the girl and the Light. An adventure you don’t want to miss.

This is the fourth book in this series which I highly suggest reading from the beginning. I enjoyed this book and it is one of my favorites by this author yet. This author continues to impress me with her writing skills and attention to details. Her stories are well written and have characters that are relatable. This book is no different. This is a story that kept me engaged and is fast paced to the end. Zak is head of the domestic law unit Chase Security. On his last mission he lost one of his female Subs which he is determined to never do again. What will happen when Saoirse walks into his office asking for help. This is where the part of the story could be a trigger for some but if you can get past it, this truly is a great story. What happens next with the human trafficking case you will have read this book to find out. You don’t want to miss the twists and turns in this story. Both are great characters that made the story for me. I highly recommend this book.

I loved this book. I have read all of this author’s books, this one is one of my favorites yet. One of the things I love most about this author is her ability to pull me into the story from the beginning. Her characters are relatable and make the story feel realistic. This story is no different. It is a well written story which has attention to details that kept me not only engaged but turning pages fast to the end. This is Damian and Bryanna’s story. Their story is one full of action, steamy romance and a fight for life. I loved their chemistry and watching them grow throughout the story. Damian is assigned a new case to find Bryanna who has managed to get caught in trafficking. But as he will soon find out this is not a simple or easy case. Will he be able to save her from her fear or will the desire they have be enough to save her? This is truly a great story that I highly recommend reading. This story has a little bit of everything that you don’t want to miss.

Its the story of a genie who is controlling the destiny of 16 year old Liam. Liam knows something is going on with him but is not sure what. He knows he sees things others don’t see and he knows when colors appear someone is mad, angry or upset. So his theory is to lay low and not be in the spotlight ever! When the Jinn appears and offers him 3 wishes what will he do? He has a great crush on a girl but he knows not to get around her because he’s afraid of what will happen. He feel totally alone because he is being raised by his mom only and he doesn’t want to worry her. What will happen to Liam? Read this fun coming of age story to find out!

Witness (Ash Park Series Book 9) by Meghan O’Flynn. This book is amazing. Each book gets better and better. Every time I read Meghan O’Flynn I have a new favorite. I’ll just say be prepared to stay up or stay put until the last page is turned because this one will not let go. This is the continuing story of Detective Edward Petrosky and his crazy life. He is still a mess but he is still amazing at his job. In this book we meet his partner Jackson and as we all know from the previous books Petrosky is a recovering alcoholic. When times are rough for him they are rough. When just a normal run of the mill breaking and entering is given to him of course its never that simple with Petrosky. This b&e leads him and his partner down a dark alley full of some of the baddest criminals he’s seen. There is evil at every turn but with Petrosky on the case my money is on him! Read this amazing dark mystery. I know you will love it!
