The Executive’s Decision (The Keller Family Series Book 1) by Bernadette Marie – Review by Angela Hayes
The Executive’s Decision by Bernadette Marie
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
3 Stars
The Executive’s Decision is the first book in the Keller Family series by Bernadette Marie. It is a contemporary office romance- with drama, family, banter, humour, betrayal, love, and some spice.
I really wanted to love this book, as office romance is normally my jam. But unfortunately I didn’t connect with the characters, they just succeeded in frustrating me so badly that I wanted to shake them- and because of that I found it extremely difficult to invest in them and the outcome of their story.
There were elements of the story that I did enjoy- such as the banter and family dynamics, but overall, this fell a little short for me. But please don’t let my opinion put you off, as I have been on a bit of a dark romance/fiction binge of late, which may have impacted my opinion of this book. I have decided to reread this book in a few weeks to see if I till feel the same way.
Thank you, Bernadette Marie!
