Unlikely in Love (A Parker Lake Novel Book 1)Unlikely in Love by Olivia Sherwood
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Unlikely in Love is 5 stars all the way from start to finish! Olivia Sherwood is an amazingly talented author and I can’t wait to read more from the wonderful author and hopefully this series.

Annabelle (Annie) Cleaver was raised by her wonderful, super querky Grandma Sophie in the small town of Parker in Oklahoma. Crazy Sophie, as most of the town called her, became ill and after all she had done for Annie she felt compelled to return to Parker and help her Gran. She ended up staying longer than originally planned but was happy on their farm living their querky life until Sophie passes and she now needs to live a life without the amazing woman who means so much to her.
Along comes Wyatt Holloway the gorgeous, ok HOT, ex army man and old high school crush. He is looking for work and a distraction from the PTSD that plaques him since being honourably discharged from the Army.
Together they start working on repairing the farm but along the way it seems that just maybe, they are repairing a lot more than just the farm.

These characters are full of warmth, depth and so much heart. I want to go to Parker. I want to be apart of this wonderful community, be around these amazing people and I wish I had a Grandma Sophie for sure!. Any woman who names her animals after Disney characters is awesome in my book! I haven’t had so much fun reading a book in along time. I really hope Ms Sherwood takes us all back to Parker very very soon!
