Unlikely In Love is the first book in the Parker Lake series by Olivia Sherwood. This was a new author to me but I was interested in the blurb and decided to give it a go. I’m very glad I chose to as I really enjoyed this book.
I loved the female lead Annabelle (Annie) and the camaraderie that she has with her best friends. I’m envious of people who have that kind of relationship with their friends. They support one another but are not scared to have a laugh at their friend’s expense too and they sure do when Annie’s childhood crush Wyatt comes on the scene.
I also adored Wyatt, the male lead. I loved his sexy flirty ways that he had with Annie as he was trying to get under her skin and make her flustered. I really enjoyed reading the growing friendship and then budding romance between these two. The book is very well written and the storyline flows freely and keeps you engaged in the story from the very beginning right up until the very end.
I really enjoyed this book and I’m looking forward to reading more of this series.
