The Elements of the Crown (The Elements of Kamdaria Book 1) by Kay L. Moody – Review by Melissa Saxton 5/5 Stars!!!

if you are looking for a heroine hiding with a secret with fantasy magic abilities and action packed with a slow burn Romance look no more.

Talise is from the storm… the lowest class in her world, full of criminals and thieves and those banished due to crimes of their families; but unlike others from the storm she can still weild magical abilities better than some from much higher classes. if she can just get into the academy and prove her worth she has a chance to become a master shaper and that is the only ticket out of the storm.

This story follows her journey from underfed and scraping by into the academy and a suprising journey thereafter. Can she Escape the storm? Who is she? Is her feelings on her competition real or should she trust her instincts screaming not to trust him.

in an action packed conclusions all your answers come together in a stunning turn of events and you are waiting breathlessly to find the next story of Talise and what becomes of her circle of friends.

there is real magic in the story here with wonderfully done character building, a slow burn romance you can’t resist and conquering demons overall. Don’t miss this series!!
