Levi (The Brothers of Creekside Ranch Book 1) by Edith Mackenzie – Review by Jenni Bishop

LeviLevi by Edith Mackenzie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Levi it the first book in this trilogy and is a clean western cowboy suspense slow burn romance story. There is action, danger, intrigue, fun banter and at times humour. The story is also a bit of an emotional ride with PTSD and hiding from the Russian mafia. I liked the characters although at times I didn’t know if I wanted to hug or to punch one of them but he redeemed himself. I had to remind myself that they both have demons from their pasts. The story has enough drama going on and suspense that keeps you entertained and the pages turning to see what happens next.

Opposites attract in this tale where we have a broken ex-Navy SEAL cowboy with a lot of anger inside and one feisty English aristocrat playing at being a nanny who happens to be in a real life or death situation. The Brothers of Creekside Ranch is about three gorgeous men who are triplets but let’s not forget their kid sister. The first book is about Levi and Bella and the following books about Amos and Elijah and I look forward to see what Edith brings.
