Christian Tuscano is out to seek retribution for what happened to his mate at the hands of the Syndicate. Delilah disliked the world Christian lived in but was turned by him in order to save her life. She herself goes after those that have wronged her and puts their relationship in jeopardy. The witches that are intent on taking vampire land have now aligned themselves with others that want the vampires out of power and have given refuge to Delilah. Will she prove to the Consulate and Christian that she is worthy or being his mate and staying by his side? Or has she gone too far by accepting help from the witches?
