Riley has been raised in a world of cons. Her mother always has a con running and now they have moved again, Riley expects the con will soon be revealed. Meeting Cole he is the polar opposite of her and he lets Riley know he is on to her. Both have issues in their families and Cole’s is cusping the edge of changing everything in his life.

This is a cliffhanger prequel. The story gave just enough insight to the dynamics of the characters to peek your interest and pick up the new books. The chemistry is there, and I like that the characters are completely different but, in a way, have some similarities that it could pull them together. Looking forward to seeing where the story goes.
