Abby Hughes and Nate Wilson have been friends since they were seven years old. Nate stood up to a bully on her behalf and they have been inseparable ever since. Now that they have both recently turned 40, Abby feels that her time to have a child is quickly diminishing. She hasn’t found Mr. Right and she doesn’t have the time to wait around. Abby is a bit shy when it comes to asking Nate to kindly donate his sperm, but he has known her so long that he can read her like a book. He gladly offers his services but there is a catch: they will be making a child the old-fashioned way. They have agreed to one night together but will it be enough? Now that the lines are about to get blurred there is no going back. Will they be able to keep their feelings out of the equation and remain friends? Or will they finally come to the realization that they have always had feelings for one another?
