Magic-Price (The Crown of Stones, #1)Magic-Price by C.L. Schneider
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Crown of Stones: Magic-Price by C.L Schneider is a book about A war-torn continent, a fallen race, and an epic narrative of a flawed hero.

Ian Troy has only ever experienced the ugliness of battle. What he ever desired was peace. When fate gave his battle-weary hands the ancient item with untold power known as the Crown of Stones, it had other ideas. He put an end to a battle that had been tearing the realms apart since before he was even born with one rash wish. and paid an extremely high cost.

Ian is still troubled by that horrible day ten years later. He tries to forget what he has done and whom he is while running from the blood on his hands and in his veins. Denial, however, is no longer an option when his past crashes into the present due to a fateful encounter with an attractive assassin.

Every page was exciting and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. It is a unique dark fantasy trilogy. The story really brings passion into your life. I couldn’t put the book down. As the story progressed, it made me glad I got the second one to get started on it right away.
