A Monster For Meg by Lois Wickstrom is an illustrated children’s story book with sisters, monsters, intrigue, fun, and a little drama- teaching us a few lessons along the way.
The illustrations are bright, colourful, and interesting- and the story was cute. I liked that even though Meg is blind, and her sister tried to scare her a little with ‘monster’ talk- Meg thought through the situation and was able to ‘see’ everything by using her other senses. She was able to think things through and use some logic.
But I have to agree with her, monster hugs are the best.
Happy reading!
