This is a cute story. Its is entertaining and easy to read and follow along. This is perfect for the young adult. Each chapter is titled with a yummy food then the delicious recipe follows the end of the chapter. This book did make me hungry and want to start baking again/eating this food again.

The story is slow moving at first but once some magic happens the pace picks up and makes this hard to out down. The characters are lovely. The explaining stage slowed the book way back down again because I really just wanted to know why/how/what. The mothers are very hesitant even after the fact and I felt it put a few bumps in the story.
