If you haven’t read a Lois Wickstrom book before, know you will always go on some sort of adventure. This story follows three kids going on an adventure to find a time capsule to win a prize! One of the kids, Timmy, has to take care of a dog to help out a lady who is injured. Along the way, you’ll discover a lot of really cool things about Cody, the dog. This is a really great book for kids starting out reading chapter books. It is very easy to read and follow along with. I also enjoyed it as an adult.

5 Star’s Charming Chapter (Boomer Babes Book Club Romances) by Lori Haas
Charming Chapter ( Boomer Babes Book Club Romances 1) is a Women’s Fiction Romance that I truly enjoyed reading. I wasn’t real sure what to expect going in but I was happy I decided to pick this book up. This is a fairly new author to me and I’m definitely going to check out what other books they may have . The characters are relatable, fully developed and make the story come to life. I found myself relating to Laura on certain things. Laura has lost her husband and finds herself on a journey of self discovery. She meets a handsome gentleman and sparks fly. Can these two have a relationship together? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. Im looking forward to reading more from this Author.

While this series can be read as a stand-alone I would recommend you start at the beginning for a more full rounded read and that is my no fault of the author but a personal choice ❣️📚
Isabella is a brave and honourable girl she made a promise to her dad and she’s going to fulfil it and it’s not going to be an easy task as she’s a wanted woman …..but she knows she can rely on Tom to help
Tom and Isabella share some history so I can just imagine how he felt when she reaches out to him out the blue and it’s not a small thing she’s needing him for either
So Isabella and Tom head “ hone” hopefully without being detected but as luck would have it they’re spotted by an d friend it is he for !?
When Isabella and Tom are separated the real action and suspense starts and there were some moments I was on the edge of my seat , holding my breath …

This was pretty thrilling. Lots of twists and turns along the way. The pace of the book was great. Never a dull moment. The characters were well thought out and developed. I absolutely love Auntie Leo. The mob crime scenes can be a little intense . I didn’t realize this was part of a series when I first started reading it but it works as a stand alone as well.

This novel is a strong and poignant story about the choices we make and the healing power of compassion and forgiveness. This sorrowful but encouraging story about the strength of family. A novel that is complex, captivating and compelling with small town drama. The ties that bind a family together maybe a mystery with reading.

A girl, stuck (Found Family series), this book is such a fun ride! This book takes you on a roller coaster of events, that will have you cheering Harry, the protagonist on. She is smart, funny, sarcastic and stubborn to a fault, all characteristics that I can relate too. The characters around her are varied and interesting in their own right. Harry is a daughter of a lawman, who when tailing an up and coming mobster, sees him as more than what he does, this is just the beginning of a wild ride that keeps you on the edge of your seat and turning the pages. This fun and lively book is a must read.

L.M. Mountford is a new author to me and I picked this book based on its cover. They say you can’t judge a book by the cover, and you know what? The cover was truly just a TEASE compared to the stories in this book…. You have so many things…menage, enemies-to-lovers, best friend’s dad, age gap, bad boys, sons’ best friend, and so much more. These stories are well written with a cast of diverse characters put in situations that have them testing their strength and will power. The world building and plot for each story is precise and is written specifically with the characters in mind, within which each character is put through a journey of self-discovery as they uncover hidden desires and explore their own sexuality. The only “negative” thing I could really find to say is that the stories were short, so you didn’t get to KNOW the characters like you would in a regular novel. And that’s not really a negative thing. Honestly if you’re looking for quick ready with A LOT of yummy content… You will LOVE this compilation.

This novel is the first one I’ve read in this series. At first, I didn’t realize that this selection was in the middle of the series until I started reading it. I was a bit confused at first but was able to piece the missing parts that helped me better understand the flow of the storyline. Harriet or Harry, a P.I. as well as a professor, delves into a case to distract her from her personal life. She ends up bumping into the culprit in which she is tracking, Trey Popov, with a dark family past. Attraction builds coincidentally and Harriet uses it to her advantage to get closer to Trey. I really enjoy learning more about Harriet’s character and how determined she can be. Just as many great suspenseful romance thrillers, this story has twists and turns and keeps its readers’ on its toes. I look forward to reading the previous two and more to come.

This isn’t my first book by this author, so I knew once I started that it would be incredibly difficult to pull myself away. This is a collection of short yet deliciously spicy romances that won’t leave you disappointed. It can seem like a lot at nearly 800 pages, but the length of each individual story is perfect for fitting in your busy afternoon. They can feel a little short, but the author does not sacrifice the plot whatsoever. I would love to see them evolve into full size books, but this will hold me over for now! Somehow even though the stories are shorter, the flow is still perfect. It doesn’t seem to have any that end abruptly or make me wonder what’s going on with omitted details. There’s something here for everyone, especially steam, so do yourself a favor and start getting lost in this tantalizing collection!

This was an absolutely incredible book that took me by surprise! I didn’t know what I was getting into because by the cover you may think it would be a leisurely read. You would be wrong! The synopsis let me know that I was in for a thrilling, mafia-filled ride. Although I read it before realizing it was part of a series, I think it does pretty well as a standalone. I will definitely be picking up the other books just because this author has captured my attention! I loved that the characters are well thought out and feel very relatable. The flow of the story kept me engrossed from page one to the end all in one day. If you’re looking for a romantic suspense novel that will keep you entertained, look no further!

I have never heard of “The Lord of Lust” before but when I had the opportunity to pick up this book it definitely sounded intriguing. Give Us Bad Boys and Billionaires is a large tome that includes a little bit of everything, literally, it’s a combination of novellas, and even some novel sized stories, and they cover topics anywhere from Alphas, best friends dad, bossholes, Bad Boys, Bullies, Saviors, and independent Alpha women. You might want to check your triggers before diving into this, as the spicy scenes vary greatly. I can say that while the smut is high there isn’t much plot. It is literally just that but at the same time I can see this being a guilty pleasure read that includes a little bit of everything.

I can see why this author is known as Master of Steam!

Give Us Bad Boys and Billionaires is a collection of twelve short erotica romance stories and novellas that are full of passion, romance, and desire. The collection includes a wide range of topics including second chance romance, age gap romance, friends to lovers, forbidden romance, best friend’s dad, bad boys, menage, and paranormal. The author does not hold back in these sexy stories that will surely have you jumping straight into a cold shower afterwards. I loved the story “Under My BFF’s Daddy” which features Cassandra who has just suffered from a horrible breakup. Her best friend Stacey takes her to her dad’s villa in the hopes of forgetting about the breakup. Stacey’s dad is there and finds himself attracted to Cassandra even though he knows it is wrong. Before long the chemistry and passion sizzles between them and the attraction becomes undeniable. In the story “Falling For My Son’s Best Friend” Elizabeth finds herself married to a man who is unloving and is always away from home for work. She decides to go visit her friend, who is the mom to her son’s best friend, Hugh. Elizabeth finds herself attracted to Hugh when she sees him for the mature young man that he has turned into. The chemistry sizzles between Elizabeth and Hugh and she must decide whether to succumb to the temptation and her desires. The stories are well written with a cast of diverse characters put in situations that have them testing their strength and will power. Each character is put through a journey of self-discovery as they uncover hidden desires and explore their own sexuality.

This story was cute once you got into it, but it was a bit all over in the beginning. Give it a chance and get into it some and you will see that it all comes together! Timmy, Beth and Arthur are working on a science project in the woods. A lot of things are going on at once here. Beth is trying to get a soil sample, Arthur is writing a song, and Timmy is looking for a monster in the woods. When they’re heading back towards the well, they get a call about their teacher getting surgery and needing someone to watch over her dog. Her dog Cody can wag her tail in Morse code! How cool is that?! Super fun! At the same time their teacher lets them know about a hidden map to a 200 year old time capsule! There are clues on the map, but no X that marks the spot! Deciphering the clues will take time, but they only have a week! If they find it in time they get a $1000 reward, but what they don’t know is that it holds a 200 year old secret that someone wants kept quite! Danger follows them and they don’t even know it!! Follow these three in their adventure to find a town’s treasure. Super cute story and of course I’d recommend it! I’d say this book is good for any child ages 6-12.

Another brilliant children’s book from this author one again. I really like how this author is able to bring subjects to children and make them interesting. I really do recommend these books for younger children. I have said it time and again I wish my children were little enough for these, and once I do eventually have grandkids will get these for them. The author is able to peak children’s interest whilst at the same time help them read and learn to enjoy reading. I highly recommend this author and all her books.
Give Us Bad Boys & Billionaires by L.M. Mountford is a compilation of many spicy short stories that cater to all types of kinks and sinful desires. If you enjoy in-depth sexy adventures with well-developed characters and plots, this book just might tickle your fantasies. Despite being short, each story is descriptive with believable characters and scenarios. Although not every story particularly appealed to me personally, I still found an aspect in each story that I found enjoyable that keep the pages turning!

A Girl, Stuck is Book Three in the Found Families Series. It is a romantic suspense full of drama, angst, mystery, intrigue, suspense, action, adventure, law enforcement, crime, mafia, attraction, and forbidden romance. The story centers around the MC of Harriet Smith, or Harry, as she prefers. A gutsy, tough as nails, private investigator who does not get intimidated easily and who prefers to face fear and danger head-on. When Harry’s dad is murdered, she sets out to solve the crime which takes her deep into the criminal underworld. Along the way she meets Trey Popov, who is quickly rising amongst the Trubetzkoy crime family. Harry finds herself attracted to Trey but the romance between them is forbidden and she finds herself conflicted about which side of the law she is on. This was a brilliantly written story full of twists and turns that kept me hooked until the final pages. The characters were well developed, and I was instantly drawn to the character of Harry because of her feisty attitude.

When I first started reading this book I thought it was going to be good, but this book was so much more than I expected it would be. It is a fantastic YA fantasy story that was is exciting to read from start to finish. The characters had such a strong connection and I loved how the story centred around them. I have only recently discovered this author but this book has cemented the fact that I will be looking into more of her work. The way she writes completely draws you in and has you hooked from start to finish. I loved reading this book and could have easily read more of it. I would definitely recommend it and I am looking forward to reading more of this authors work.

This is the first book in this series. The FMC is set to study abroad in her graduate program but when her bag gets mixed up with another woman. This gives her a major mistaken identity and she is forced to rely on the MMC. He is a private investigator and is trying to bring down the not so nice guy. He needs to protect her, she needs to survive the whole ordeal and together they try to avoid their feelings for each other. This is a great first read.
This book is a brilliant contemporary romance story that pulls you in right from the word go. For me, this book is definitely all about the characters. I really enjoyed watching the relationship between the main characters develop from a one night stand to something more. The story is a well written book and I liked the pace that the author had achieved. It added to the overall feel of the book and, for me, made it so much more engaging. I wanted to see how things would play out and what was in store for the characters. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from the moment I started reading.

3 stars out of 5 stars
Steamy short stories. This is perfect for when you want to read something and feel accomplished since it doesn’t take long to finish the stories. Overall the book was enjoyable. With Shattered Embrace and who they are being so much of the focus of Zach and Ashton’s story, I am a little disappointed we didn’t get more club or scene-y scenes. I hope that with the next one in the series, we get that.
After Ashton and Zach finally agree to be ‘boyfriend and girlfriend’ while in the process of defining and establishing their other roles, Ashton and Zach continue to get to know one another. When Ashton receives the job offer that seems too good to be true, Zach freaks out. This causes much tension in their world.
Ashton takes the time to figure things out for herself. Ashton goes to Atlanta, home of the new job, for a tour and an interview. While there, her new boss takes her to an exclusive bar/club. This new possible boss is hiding his agenda from Ashton. That is not all he is hiding. Secrets are revealed. So many secrets. Ashton and Zach have the fight they have been needing to have for a while and things start to smooth out for everyone.
Part of what I like about this series is that the storyline isn’t ending. In the next book, we might change focus on the couple but the overarching story remains. And, I am here for it. I have so many questions that need to be answered. I am looking forward to Derek’s story as well as getting answers.
Don’t wait!! Jump in now before we are 5 books deep!! A little spice, a lot of sass, a dash of mystery, a pinch of suspense and a sprinkling of romance make this series an excellent recipe for success!
Regardless of the trope that you are looking for…you will find it in this collection of novellas. There is older divorcee, enemies-to-lovers, son’s best friend, billionaire…a flavor for whatever craving you have. Some are short, only a couple of chapters long, while there is one that is over twenty chapters. Regardless of their length, each story felt complete and I found myself immersed in them and wanting more! The novella format allowed me to devour this in bite-sized pieces…and every bite was satisfying!
Every time that I thought a story was going to be my favorite, the next one would be just as entertaining and have me changing my mind. I am a fan of all these tropes…and I would recommend this book to anyone who loves some spicy romance and wants some quick reads!

As we continue to follow the stories of each member of this talented family we meet Jake O’Connell. Jake, who has quite the successful career in business has decided to leave that life behind and showed back up to Port Townsend. There he instantly rocks the boat, especially when he meets Chiara. Chiara is married to a man who clearly doesn’t love her and she is quickly swept away by Jake. This is a sweet romance with many ups and downs and ultimately ending in a surprise ending. This book continues to bring new and surprising things to the surface with members of the family having special talents. It could get a bit confusing at times as there are so many characters and it doesn’t focus solely on Jake and Chiara but overall, a good read.

My family came from Scotland so this was fascinating to read. I enjoyed every minute of it. History, myths, locations, pictures, etc. were so delightful. This book is a treat to read even though I will never get to see Scotland. Thank you so much for sharing this.

This was a really charming guide to England. The author does a really fascinating job of giving us history along with beautiful pictures and details of England. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to travel to England due to health but her book helps me to feel like I’m there. I really enjoyed reading some of early history of England. I have always been a fan of the early days.

This was a fascinating story. I loved the story of Marjorie and how crazy life gets for her. It’s a paranormal story with a bit of everything in it. Werewolves, twins, etc. make for some crazy action-filled drama. I was drawn in straight from the beginning and just couldn’t put it down. This is a story that grabs you because of the characters and the story. It’s well-written and holds your attention. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.
