It is a bright, colourful, interesting, educational, and entertaining children’s story that takes the reader on a cute adventure, whilst also teaching and inspiring them to learn about science. We meet back up with Maia, Fig, and mermaid Trezzie as they make a necklace out of ice cubes. These cute characters bring the story to life, while also imparting lessons along the way. The use of fantasy teamed with science, engages both imagination and learning. I think the story is a clever way to teach children about science and make it fun at the same time. Happy reading!

Coyote’s Road Trip by Laura Koerber is the prequel to Raven Woman’s Tavern. It is a dystopian story with magical realism, paranormal elements, drama, messages on climate change, mythology, and more. This is an original and interesting story with thought provoking elements. And as Ms. Koerber always manages to do, she weaves her story in a way that takes the reader on a journey, while also giving them pause for thought. Premeditated: A Trust Betrayed, Lives Sabotaged, A Love Undaunted is the second book in the Agents of Justice series by Susanna Haymond. This is a Christian crime and investigation story, with mystery, action, suspense, faith, and drama. I didn’t realise when I got this book that it is the second book in the series, but I don’t think that mattered to the story at all. It can be read as a standalone. With a deadly drug invading the community and the drug crimes on the rise- DEA Agents Grant and Josh have been tasked with finding the source and getting it off the streets for good. But what happens when their investigation draws the attention of the drug distributors- putting them and their loved ones at risk? An interesting story.

Squid is the fifth book in the Moto X series by Brooke May. As with the rest of the series, this is a very enjoyable contemporary romance- with chemistry, drama, self-discovery, finding love unexpectedly, reforming wild ways, character growth and development, banter, and some emotion. This is the fifth book in the series, but it could easily be read as a standalone. Having said that though, you will probably want to get your hands on the entire series to binge on- because one book won’t be enough to satisfy your Moto X appetite. Brooke May has a talent for creating interesting and endearing characters who are fully realised individuals with their own unique quirks and flaws. It was so easy to connect with Levi and Kindle- and I was quickly invested in them and the outcome of their story. Can’t wait to see what Ms. May brings us next! Happy Reading!

Bree is such a great character, and it was great to see her character grow and develop over the course of the story. Illegal: A Ripped-From-the -Headlines Romantic Suspense by K.J Gillenwater is the first book that I have read from this author, so I wasn’t sure of what to expect from one of her stories. But I love a great romantic suspense, so I snapped up a copy and set off on Selena’s adventure. Selena Hernandez has had her whole world turned upside down. What she thought she knew of her life was nothing but lies. She has no choice but to return to Mexico to sort things out and try to reclaim her life. But things take a complicated and dangerous turn when she uncovers her true identity. With danger, tension, and ties to the cartel the story makes for an intriguing and suspenseful read. Everything to Me is the second book in the Playing for Keeps series by Lauren Fraser. It is a sports romance with a brother’s bestfriend element, finding love unexpectedly, multiple POV’s, drama, and chemistry. Going into this book, I didn’t realise that this was the second book in the series, and even though it could be read as a standalone, I can’t help but wonder about what happened in the first instalment, and maybe if I had read that first, then I might have enjoyed this story even more as there were a few instances where I felt like I was slightly missing something. I did like the premise of the story, but feel like it just missed the mark or me. I also feel that it could have been even better if it had more sizzle, a steamier story, especially considering what the story is supposed to be about. Maybe it’s just me and I was having an off reading day when I read this- so I will probably go back and read it again in a few weeks just to see if I feel the same way.

Thorfinn and the Witch’s Curse is the first book in the Forerunner Saga series by Jay Veloso Batista. This is epic fantasy done well- with action, adventure, ghosts, Norse mythology, Vikings, curses, history, the supernatural, agendas, danger, paranormal elements, drama, challenges, mystery, fight scenes, detailed and descriptive storytelling, creative worldbuilding, and is told from multiple POV’s (which gives a great perspective of what is happening). I came into this series a little backwards, having started on book three by accident, which proved to be a bit of a challenge for me. But I really was intrigued by the premise and after discovering that I was reading the third book, I went back to the beginning to read the first two books just to see if they would help me better appreciate the story. And I am glad that I did, as I did enjoy the story more, and felt that it helped ground me in the series better. There were still a lot of characters remember, and some interesting, if not difficult to pronounce names- but I didn’t have as much of an issue with it this time around. As with the rest of the series, it is apparent that the author is very passionate about the subject matter and his story-telling- it’s evident that he put a lot of blood, sweat, heart, soul, and research into his work- which resulted in the rich, vibrant, and dynamic tale. The Mind-Reading Hat is the sixth book in the Invisible Magic Wand series by Lois Wickstrom. Right from the get-go this book grabs your attention with the bright and interesting illustrations that accompany the storyline. It’s Caspian’s unbirthday again- and this time it comes with a mind-reading hat and a fun adventure. I found this to be a fun children’s story that has a cute adventure to follow, colourful illustrations, fun, educational elements/lessons, and a touch of fancy. As with the other books in this series, it is a slightly quirky tale that proved to be fun and engaging- feeding both the imagination, as well providing a few lessons along the way. Captivated is the first book in the Hybrid Lovers series by Toya Richardson. I have read many of Ms. Richardson’s books now, and I can honestly say that this is my favourite (so far). It is a fantastic paranormal romance, with angel/vampire hybrids, demons, danger, magic, emotion, chemistry, sizzle, fated mates, suspense, mystery, high stakes, good vs evil, the fate of humankind in the balance, action, and dynamic world-creation. This is very original and a little different from other books of Ms. Richardson’s that I have read-she has developed a winning recipe here, for sure. I can’t wait to get my hands on book #2 to see where we go from here. If you love paranormal romance, with sexy twins, a ménage, plenty of sizzle, and an exciting story- then you will definitely want this book in your life! Bring on Book #2! Happy Reading!

A Long Kiss Goodbye is the second book in the Onyx & Mercury series by H.D. Thomson. Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Have I not discovered this brilliant author before now????? After reading this I have to admit that I have seriously been missing out on some stellar reading for some time…. But, on the other hand I am excited to find that there is a long list of other books to this author’s name for me to devour- so I can feel a massive book-binge is in order. Limbering up my one-click finger in preparation. This is a seriously good paranormal romance with a twisty, intense, mysterious and entirely suspenseful storyline. The author writes incredibly well, and it is apparent that she is quite a talented storyteller, skilfully crafting her story with palpable tension, edge of your seat danger, unexpected developments, simmering chemistry, and superb world-building. I was so hooked on the story that I couldn’t and wouldn’t put it down. It wasn’t until I had finished and went looking to see what else I could find from this author that I discovered that this is the second book in the series. So, I am setting off on Book #1 as soon as I complete this review. Being the second book in the series didn’t impact my reading of the story in any way… I never felt like I was missing any part of the storyline or any details. It has, however, made me extremely curious to discover what happened in Book #1. So excited to be embarking on a new love affair with this author- well, her books that is lol.. I am so looking forward to my book binge with H.D. Thomson. So happy to have finally discovered her work, as my first time has proved to be one of my favourite reads of the year, so far! When I got this book, I didn’t realise that it was the second book in the series, and even though it could be read as a standalone, I really feel that I would have appreciated the story even more if I had read the first book before diving into this one, as there are parts of this story where I felt I was ‘missing’ something because I didn’t know what had happened previously. The Wolf’s Shadow is the first book in The Lycanthropy Files by Cecilia Dominic. This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Dominic, so I really didn’t know what to expect from one of her stories- but let’s be honest here, she already had me at werewolves…. This is a intriguing paranormal romance with a bit of a medical/scientific suspense happening along the way. There’s lots going on, but in a great, keep you avidly reading kind of way. With action, mystery, adventure, danger, high stakes, deception, secrets, dramatic developments, and more- this book definitely held my attention right till the very last page. I really loved her original take on werewolf lore and am excited to have found another author to add to my must read list- especially one who has quite a lot of other books for me to one-click to explore. Exit Strategy is the fifth and final book in the Nite Fire series by C. L. Schneider. This has been a superb series to follow, and I have enjoyed it immensely. So, having said that, I was a little conflicted reading this final book- because on one hand I desperately wanted to know how everything played out in the end, but also not really wanting to say ‘goodbye’ to the series either….. If you have yet to read the other books in the series, I highly recommend that you do as the storyline follows on from the previous books and you really need to know what happens previously to fully appreciate this instalment. There is a lot of important information, character introductions and details, and relevant backstory contained in the previous four books, so do yourself a favour and read them before starting ‘Exit Strategy’- you’ll be glad you did… Dahlia Nite is the kick-a** dragon shifter vigilante we have been following on this adventure since the beginning. And if you have been following the series, then you know that a LOT has happened since we met her back in book one. She has strived to keep the streets safe, but with the veil between worlds fraying so quickly, the overwhelming hordes of monsters, the spreading blight, and the very fate of humanity all resting on her shoulders now means that Dahlia is being pushed beyond her limits. Her dragon will not sit back any longer- the apocalypse be damned!! Let the games begin!!!! Again, this is a fantastic action-packed urban fantasy that had me hanging on every word- and again, C.L Schneider didn’t disappoint, delivering a stellar ending to her fantastic series. Collateral Damage is the sixth book in the Mafia Elite series by Amy McKinley. This is a brilliant second chance mafia romance- a romantic suspense with an action-packed plot, tension, danger, drama, emotion, intrigue, mafia politics, agendas, high stakes, twists, threats, and sizzling chemistry. I was so excited that we finally get Trey’s story. And what a story it is… WOW! Another fantastic addition to the series, and it’s getting harder and harder for me to choose a favourite because they are all sooooo good. We have met Trey previously through the series, as he is Sofia (Book #2) and Marco’s (Book #4) brother. His family is ‘the mafia’. But Trey isn’t really involved in the family business on a day to day level as he is a doctor working in a local hospital. But that’s not to say he doesn’t ‘contribute’ when needed. Trey is called on to help out on a kidnapping – and becomes more tangled in the situation than he desired. Especially since he and the kidnapping victim have some serious chemistry. Queue the sparks and sizzle. But danger lurks and things are not quite what they may seem. What happens makes for an exciting read. So, if you love yourself some fantastic mafia romance, romantic suspense, intensity, danger, and wonderful characters- then you definitely won’t want to miss this exciting story/series!!! This is a paranormal romance with witches, magic, mayhem, broken arrangements that lead to revenge, a bitter and twisted ex, good vs evil, danger, agendas, family, and a few dramatic developments. Being a short story, also makes it is a very quick and easy read. When Rafe chooses true love over an arranged marriage, he had no idea the chaos that would then ensue. Flame & Crystal Thorns is the first book in the Fae and Crystal Thorns series by Kay L. Moody. This is an exciting spin off from her ‘Fae of Bitter Thorn’ series, as we follow Chloe, who is Elora’s (from FoBT series) sister. Chloe is a healer in the mortal world, and is happy to stay as far away as she can from the world of the fae. She loves her sister, but doesn’t feel as adventurous as her sister, and Chloe definitely prefers her simple life as an apothecary. But when she discovers that humans are threatening the fae realms by using iron to hold the magical kingdoms hostage, Chloe (somewhat reluctantly) sets off to try to help. And so the adventure begins. This is a fabulous YA fantasy adventure, with danger, humans/fae, magic, a journey of discovery/self-discovery, romance, action, trials, and more. It ends on a cliffhanger, which means waiting for the next book to pick up where we’ve left off. The Curse of a Faeblood is the first book in The Faeblood Series by M.K. Lorber. This is the first book that I have read by this author, so I really didn’t know what to expect going in. But I am such a sucker for anything fantasy- and as this had such an interesting premise and intriguing cover, I immediately one-clicked myself a copy and dove right in. I can honestly say that I am so happy I stumbled on this book (and author). I loved the story and am so excited to continue the series. I am also looking forward to a long love-affair with M.K. Lorber’s books over the coming years/decades. This story is wonderfully woven, starting with the attention to detail and cleverly constructed world in which M.K. Lorber sets her story/series. There is definitely a lot happening in the book, the storyline is filled with lots of depth, layers, textures, and surprising developments- which the author choreographs beautifully. The whole thing flows seamlessly, and the whole way through there is evidence of the author’s imagination, creativity, and other magic touches that she has cast over each and every page- ensuring her readers are well and truly under her spell and completely engrossed. She doesn’t overcomplicate things or overload us with enormous info-dumps, even though there is a lot happening, with so many and varied characters in the cast, and lots of meaty story to sink our teeth into- there was never a moment where I felt like I wasn’t entirely invested in everything that was happening. I was completely immersed and eager to see what lay around the next corner (page). And for me that is the sign of a great author who knows how to craft a fantastic story. If you love a great fantasy with adventure, danger, action, wonderful characters, agendas, politics, love, loss, and so much more- then you won’t want to miss grabbing yourself a copy of ‘The Curse of a Faeblood’ to explore, you’ll be so happy you did. This fantastic boxset contains the first three books in the Mafia Elite series by Amy McKinley. Ms. McKinley is one of my favourite authors, and this series is a testament to her talents. This boxset is a wonderful introduction to the Mafia Elite series- with three books in one, hello- #winning. But trust me when I say that you are bound to develop an addiction to her books and go searching for more. So, you will be happy to know that there are not only more books in this series, but also an extensive back-catalogue of the authors other books too- which are also excellent reading in their own rights. This Boxset contains No Way Out (Book #1), Blood Oath (Book #2), and Born In Darkness (Book #3). Below are my individual reviews for these books to give you a little taste of what to expect…..
NO WAY OUT (Mafia Elite Book #1): 5 Stars ALL THE FREAKING STARS!!!! OMG!!! Amy McKinley has outdone herself, AGAIN!!!! No Way Out is the incredible first instalment in the Mafia Elite series by the supremely talented Amy McKinley. I know I keep saying this with every new release of hers, but this is definitely a new favourite for me. It is a fantastic mafia romance/romantic suspense, with plenty of action, violence, danger, drama, mafia politics, intrigue, tension, chemistry, sizzle, secrets, revenge, and emotion. I fell for Max and Liliana right from the beginning- they were such great characters- quite complex, fully developed individuals with depth and their own unique quirks and flaws. I really don’t want to give too much away and spoil the story for you… But will leave you with this little tidbit. Max has an agenda that has taken a lot of time and planning to finetune before he can now, finally, let it all unfold. He has been tasked with protecting his mentor’s granddaughter, on top of his own plans to exact a little revenge and right past wrongs. He never expected that he would be so drawn to the young woman he was sent to protect. Having more in common with her than he first thought. But she is no defenceless flower, as he soon discovers- she’s one kick-butt mafia princess. But with secrets, agendas, politics, and sinister intentions- it’s not long before they are neck deep in a dangerous situation. It definitely made for an intense, suspenseful, edge of my seat read!!! Another gem to add to Ms. McKinley’s crown!
BLOOD OATH (Mafia Elite Book #2): 5 Stars
Second book into this amazing series and Ms. McKinley has hit it out of the park again!!! Blood Oath is the second fantastic book in the Mafia Elite series by Amy McKinley. As with the first book, this is a brilliant mafia romance- a romantic suspense story with an action-packed plot, secrets, dramatic developments, mafia politics, intrigue, tension, chemistry, steamy encounters, emotion, and more… This book continues what we started in book one, but this is Sofia and Enzo’s story (whom we met in book one as supporting characters). I loved all the interconnected details and intriguing threads that Ms. McKinley is weaving through her stories, and series. It makes for riveting reading. I have a new addiction and I can’t wait for my next fix!!!
BORN IN DARKNESS (Mafia Elite Book #3): 5 Stars
So, after finishing this and having read most, if not all of Ms. McKinley’s books now, I have come to the conclusion that she could write the phone book and make it addictive reading! Seriously!!! If you have yet to pick up one of her many books, what are you waiting for? You will kick yourself for missing out this long. Born in Darkness is another gem in Ms. McKinley’s crown- a stellar mafia romance, it is the third book in the Mafia Elite series by Amy McKinley. A masterfully woven romantic suspense story with action, violence, mafia politics, second chances, family dynamics, friendship, chemistry, sizzle, secrets, drama, intrigue, tension, and edge of your seat developments. This book is Stefano and Emiliana’s story, I was so excited to dive in- and now I can honestly say Ms. McKinley doesn’t rest on her laurels here, she ups the ante yet again, grabbing me right from the get-go and had me flipping the pages to find out what happens, all while proving once again that this series just gets better and better with each new release. If you haven’t read the previous two books, I highly recommend that you do, as not only are they fantastic stories in their own rights, they also contain important information that will help you better appreciate this story, as well as building a bigger picture. I love this series and the wonderfully complex characters that take centre stage here. I have a serious addiction to Ms. McKinley’s stories and need my next fix STAT!
Take my word for it- if you love mafia romance, romantic suspense, wonderfully developed characters, depth, and addictive reading- then you definitely won’t want to miss this exciting BoxSet, or series!!! Happy reading!

Bake Off is the second book in the Bake Believe Trilogy by Cori Cooper. This follows on from Book One, so I suggest reading “Bake Believe” before starting this book. I love how original and fun this series is, and as with the first book, this is a clever and imaginative kids/YA fantasy story- with magic, family, humour, recipes, a sprinkle of drama, some teen angst, and a bit of an adventure. I love how wonderfully quirky and endearing the character/s are- they really brought the story to life. We met Cat Anderson in the first book when her life was turned upside down after she discovers baking, and what her baking can do. In this book she and her family set off on a Thanksgiving holiday and end up in the midst of a baking showdown. Will Cat discover more about her baking talents- especially the how and why of it all? Well worth the read to find out… Another great little story in this fun trilogy. Looking forward to Book Three!

Taming of the Few is the first book in the Guardians of Phae series by Rowan Dillon (Christy Nicholas). The author has woven a fantastic world in which to set this creative story. It is an urban fantasy with tension, drama, ‘superheros’, adventure, danger, banter, a mysteriousness, and more. While I loved the premise of this new book/series, as well as some of the details and developments- I felt that the story did ‘lag’ in places, and at times got really bogged down by character introductions and ‘information dumps’. There are quite a lot of characters who get introduced- which was a lot to keep track of times. Being the first book in the series, I guess the author was trying to lay the ‘foundations’ to the rest of the series here in the first book- so I am hoping that the rest of the series will flow better and not be weighed down by so many characters and infodumps, as I really am intrigued to see where we go from here. Love the cover!

A Veil of Gods and Kings is the first book in the Apollo Ascending series by Nicole Bailey. What happens when a god who is a bit of a tortured soul and haunted by his memories, fights his fate, and in doing so takes a stand against his father? Well, we are talking about Apollo, who is supposed to ascend to become the god of the sun- and yep you guessed it, his father being Zeus himself. So, as you can imagine, Apollo’s refusal to accept his fate doesn’t go over too well with daddy dearest, resulting in Zeus making an ultimatum. Now Apollo has been forced into a mentorship under the guidance of the insufferable Prince Hyacinth. Something neither of them relish. Things are going to get complicated- rather quickly. Especially when their chemistry begins to simmer and smoulder. What happens next makes for a very intriguing read. This is a NA reimagining of the Apollo myth; an enemies to lovers fantasy with a slow-burn MM romance (nothing explicit), plenty of emotion, angst, drama, danger, layers, banter, and intrigue. And can we take a moment to appreciate this gorgeous cover! It sold me even before I knew anything else about the book. Love me a gorgeous cover! Happy Reading!

Blood & Ravens is the fantastic first instalment in A.D. Brazeau’s new series ‘The Casket Girls’. I have read a couple of Ms. Brazeau’s books before, but this one is definitely my favourite, so far. It had all the ingredients that I love to find in a great book… *intriguing premise ….. tick *wonderful characters who develop and grow over the course of the story ….. tick *clever and creative world building ….. tick *an interesting paranormal theme ….. tick *historical details ….. tick *a mysteriousness feel ….. tick *gripping storyline ….. tick *vampires ….. tick tick tick *danger and suspense ….. tick *romance ….. tick *deliciously dark details ….. tick *the promise of more exciting instalments ….. tick tick tick I was intrigued right from the moment I laid eyes on the gorgeous cover, but the story I discovered under that beautiful cover was the real show-stopper. Snap Me Up is the first exciting instalment in the new series ‘Full Throttle Cyborgs’ by Landra Graf. After reading her Bad Boys Of Space series it was a given that I would be diving into this book as soon as it hit my Kindle. But, hello, she really had me at Cyborg lol. I already knew I was going to love it, even before I had read a word, and she didn’t let me down. This story turned out to be quite a sci-fi adventure- with cyborgs, an AI come to ’life’, action, suspense, chemistry, self-discovery, mystery, drama, and so much more. It definitely gave off a futuristic ‘Fast and Furious’ vibe, for me. Fast cars and hot mechanics mixed with a space adventure with cyborgs and synthetic lifeforms- what’s not to love? Can’t wait for the rest of the series now…. Happy Reading!

Run to the Sea is the first book in the Reigning Hearts Series by K.G Fletcher. I love Ms. Fletcher’s books, so I was really happy to get my hands on this one. We meet Thomas and Emeline who were childhood best friends- supporting each other through some difficult moments in their childhood. They talked about the future, sharing their hopes and dreams- but all that gets put aside when Thomas ends up working in New York City. He’s back in town after his grandfather’s death, which has resulted in Thomas inheriting a beach house. He soon runs into Emeline, and their past connection quickly comes bubbling to the surface- like all that time never passed and their bond is still strong. But there are hidden feelings- which takes them on an unexpected path. This is a great friends-to-lovers/second chances story full of rediscovery, choices, listening to your heart, trusting yourself, being true to yourself, and taking a chance. The story is sweet, romantic, touching, and engaging. As I would expect from Ms. Fletcher, it is really well written, and the characters are quite endearing. I was hooked right from the beginning and read the story in one sitting.
STARS FALL FROM THE SKY (Book #2): 4 Stars
Stars Fall From the Sky is the second book in the Reigning Hearts Series by K.G Fletcher. This was such an emotional rollercoaster for me. I really recommend reading with a box of tissues close at hand- because you’re going to need plenty. The story is a very emotive second chances romance- with a friends to lovers element, too. It plucked at my heartstrings so often, that it became a melody in my heart. The story is everything from tragic, to sweet and romantic. There is love, loss, grief, feelings of betrayal, ghosts of the past, trouble moving on, being stuck in the past, drama, healing, learning to love again, a ‘small town’ environment, chemistry, real life realism, touching & tender moments, cute little additions, wonderful characters, an engaging storyline- and most of all, it is a story with hope, and finding happiness after tragedy.
A SUN SO BRIGHT (Book #3): 5 Stars
A Sun So Bright is my new favourite book in the Reigning Hearts Series by the very talented K.G Fletcher. I know I always say this, but I really do love all Ms. Fletcher’s books, so I was really happy to find this had arrived on my Kindle- and I put everything else aside to read it. This is a wonderful billionaire romance, with a twist. Because, in this story it’s the leading lady who is the billionaire, and her leading man is a hardworking guy from the suburbs, who is struggling to get by. Fiona has been very unlucky in love- the men in her social circle are either already in committed relationships, or too daunted by her incredible wealth to even approach her- while others are blatant Golddiggers. She’s tired of being alone, seeing her friends so happy in their relationships, and being the only single at any functions they attend. After a disastrous New Year’s Eve function, Fiona finds herself in an upscale bar just before the stroke of midnight. There she meets hunky barman Chris who immediately captures her attention. The many glasses of Champagne she’s imbibed make her bold enough to give him a New Year’s kiss when the clock strikes midnight. A kiss that has her mind swirling with possibilities. Chris could definitely be the answer to her social dilemma. And so, a ‘business’ deal is struck. I won’t go into any more detail, as I really don’t want to give too much away. Suffice to say that this book is worth the read to discover where this arrangement leads- and if these two can keep things strictly business. Or will they blur the lines of their arrangement? After all, their chemistry is intense, and Chris loves the challenge Fiona presents. He’s determined to strip away all the haughtiness and her icy demeanour, and uncover the real woman beneath the facade. While Fiona loves that Chris isn’t just sexy as sin- he’s attentive, caring, interesting, and makes her feel centred, calm, and happy. But coming from such vastly different backgrounds, and with such different lives- things aren’t going to be quite so easy. Add in a little danger and drama- and this story really wouldn’t let me put it down- reading it all in one sitting. I really loved this story- and way more than I thought I would, especially since I really wasn’t sure I could come to like Fiona. She came across as a rich B*tch- a judgemental and materialistic snob who only cared about herself and her ‘image’. But as the story unfolded, I got to see that she was really hiding behind her money- using it to sooth away her unhappiness and loneliness. But it really wasn’t working. On the surface she appeared to have everything anyone could ever want or need- a life of luxury, an enviable lifestyle, lots of friends, a beautiful home, and everything available at her beck and call. But in reality, she was so very lost and alone. Only partway into the book I started really loving her. Now, Chris on the other hand was quite a swoon-worthy creation by Ms. Fletcher; completely charming, sweet, caring, kind, attentive, very endearing- and OH SO SEXY!!! They really are perfect for each other- two different worlds colliding, and the sparks fly. The story is completely captivating- romantic, touching, engaging, and memorable. Definitely my favourite of the series so far!!! I really can’t wait to see what K.G. does next!!!
I’LL SEE YOU AGAIN (Book #4): 5 Stars
I’ll See You Again is the fourth book in the Reigning Hearts Series by K.G Fletcher. This I such a sweet, touching, captivating, and romantic story- but still manages to pack quite an emotional punch. After reading Book Three, A Sun So Bright- and loving it soooo much, I really didn’t think I could love any other instalment as much as that one, but this book certainly gave ASSB a real run for its money! This is a steamy Rockstar romance, with an opposites attract element- making for a fun read. But then Ms. Fletcher twists the story and delivers quite an emotional wallop that left me wondering how things would ever get back on track. I love how Ms. Fletcher always manages to weave some unexpected detail into her stories which never fail to surprise me, and keep me clamouring for more. I loved meeting Reid (Mac), he’s such a great character. And after meeting Nicky in A Sun So Bright, I was really happy that she got her own story. These two really were perfect for each other. Catching up with Chris and Fiona from the previous book was a wonderful bonus, too.
A COLD CREEK CHRISTMAS (Book #5): 5 Stars
I knew as soon as I saw that K.G Fletcher had written a Christmas romance, that it would be wonderful- and she didn’t let me down. I would love to see this made into a movie- it’s such a sweet, swoony, and steamy story that made my little heart go pitter-pat! I love everything about the Christmas season- but my favorite part is being able to binge Christmas books and movies- and this book has zipped to the top of the list as one of my firm favourites in the Reigning Hearts series. This is everything the blurb promised it to be- a warm, fuzzy, steamy, heartfelt Holiday Romance, with a touch of Christmas magic.
So, what are you waiting for? So much to love about this boxset, and the best part is having all five books at hand with no waiting between instalments. Recommended for all true romantics- especially if you love your romances to sizzle while you read. Happy Reading!

Unabridged is the second book in the Lovestruck series by Melinda De Ross. This may be the second book in the series, but it can be read as a standalone, in fact, the series can be read in any order without encountering any issues. Unabridged is a spicy and fun second chance romantic comedy- with a little angst, wit, humour, and even a touch of mystery and suspense. I really enjoyed my time between the pages of this book. It proved to be quite a fun and entertaining caper that I ended up reading in one easy sitting. It was a nice escape after having quite a stressful few weeks. Journalist, Angelina, gets the shock of her life when she barges into her editor’s office only to find that her ex is now her new boss. Awkward much? Especially since they have some unsettled business from the past- such as the fact that he had no idea why she left him three years ago. You guessed it, things are about to get real interesting. But seeing each other after so many years apart brings up feelings that were meant to be long-buried. What happens next makes for quite the entertaining read. Add a little mystery and suspense and things get quite intriguing. Looking forward to exploring the rest of this series. Happy reading!
