My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Pandora’s Price is Book 3 in the incredible Hart & Cole Series, these books really do need to be read in order for you completely understand our main characters Darren & Luisa back story and the journey they have taken through all three books in this series! This author has continued to blow me away with her incredible jam-packed storyline, in-depth real, relatable & raw characters that each stand strong on their own and even better together.

This book was once again raw & real and made you completely and utterly captivated from the start, you couldn’t put this book down until the very end. Then when you have finished the read, it sticks with you for hours later.

These books in this series, really do stand out from the rest, it’s emotional, raw and above all, it has incredible characters and an even better real & raw storyline that is utterly compelling from start to finish!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Everyday Enchantments is a unique read, that I never expected to enjoy as much as I did. Maria DeBlassie is a new author for me and I can’t wait to see what else she writes and how it compare to this book. It is easy flowing, easy read that really makes you stop and think, and really appreciate certain things. This really is an interesting relaxing laid back read, that has a different style of writing that is different from most books I read, so that took me a while to get used, but I quickly got so captivated with reading that ended up finishing it before I could really take notice again. It was a book that covered a lot of topics, topics that made you think and look at things differently.

It’s a fascinating read that I highly recommend. I will definitely be reading this over again, just to take in the read and give it the extra appreciation it deserves. Don’t miss this read!

Taming the Troublemaker (The Hills of Texas Book 3) by Kadie Scott – Review by Chantelle Smith

Taming the Troublemaker (Hills of Texas, #3)Taming the Troublemaker by Kadie Scott
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Kadie Scott has once again shown me what an incredible author she is. Taming the Troublemaker is Book 3 in The Hills of Texas Series, this is my second book from her and as I said before I will definitely be going back and reading book 1. Out of the two, I have read, this one is definitely my favourite out of the two.

This book was everything and more! It had romance, passion, humour two amazing characters that are real, relatable and honestly the most lovable characters. Everything about them is brilliant. I love them both individually, but together they are even better, and it is just a shame it takes so long for both of them to realise, as they both prolong their HEA. What they have is something you can tell will be epic and forever, they have great banter together as well as passion that I don’t know how they went so long denying it and to make their connection even better was the feelings they had towards one little boy!
I loved that this book was written in dual POV’s it really made me connect even more with Autry & Beth, I loved knowing what they were really thinking and feeling beyond what they actually said!

I cannot rate this book enough, I can’t wait to see what else Kadie Scott brings to this series and where Autry & Beth’s story goes, I hope this isn’t the last we get of their story.
I highly recommend this read, don’t miss it!

The Woman America Loves a LatteThe Woman America Loves a Latte by Holly Tierney-Bedord
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Holly Tierney-Bedord definitely has a way with words. The Woman America Loves a Latte is my fourth book by this author and she continues to show her writing style that’s engaging to read. This book is written in various POV’s but I found I was getting a bit lost sometimes and finding it not flowing as well as some of her other reads but I still really enjoyed reading this book and following Vee’s journey. This book has suspense, danger & mystery that captivates you. I really loved reading Vee’s journey especially after everything she has been through with her past and everything with her ex-fiancé, so after everything and then finally something good happens you hope that she will get the HEA she so rightly deserves. The characters emotions were real and while reading it, it made you feel more connected to them and their story.

This is another brilliant read from this author and I can’t wait to see what other stories this author can bring, I know I will not be disappointed and neither will you, don’t miss this book or this author work!

Wolf (Fairy Tale Series Book 3) by Jody Lynn Daniels – Review by Chantelle Smith

Wolf: Book 3 in The Fairy Tale Series (Fairy Tale Series )Wolf: Book 3 in The Fairy Tale Series by Jody Lynn Daniels
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jody Lynn Daniels is a new author for me, but after reading Wolf, I can for sure say it won’t be my last! Even though this is Book 3 in The Fairy Tale Series, these books can be read as stand-alone’s but after reading this one, it will make you want to go back and read the previous 2 books in this series, just to see who’s character journey we will follow. This is an easy flowing read that captivating and engaging from the start until the end.
In this book we follow Maggie & Carson as they go along on a journey of rediscovery, overcoming their past and finding out that they can get a second chance whether it’s with the one person you never expected.

This book has some painful and upsetting moments especially in moments of realisation for Maggie her pain is real and raw. One thing I will point out with this read was that I loved the fact with knowing what Carson does for a living and how he comes across is that he has raw & real emotions and he isn’t afraid to show them. But between the sad upsetting moments, there is plenty of sweet, happy, fun & beautiful moments between the characters and the storyline.

This is a beautiful book of second chances, love and happiness. This is a read not to be missed, I can’t wait to see what Jody Lynn Daniels does next and where this series will take me! I can’t wait to read more!

Gwyn McNamee is by far one of my all-time favourite authors. She has a brilliant writing style that flows effortlessly and she creates stories that are captivating and engaging and that is not different from the collection of books in the Slip Series. Made up of the books Dickslip, Nipslip & Beaver Blunder, Gwyn McNamee has created three easy quick romantic comedies that are funny, romantic, steamy & captivating and to top it off they have some wonderful characters. I like that each book connects through one of the characters that you read about in the previous book, it brings the stories to a whole and ultimately ties each character’s story together. All the characters are strong, relatable and ultimately make each story better!
Even with each story having an embarrassing moment there is something light-hearted about these reads.

Linked: Can Empathy Save the United Terrestrial Democracy? by Gaia B. Amman – Review by Chantelle Smith

LinkedLinked by Gaia B. Amman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This sci-fi romance read is my first read from Gaia B. Amman, and I’m so glad that I got to experience this read! I didn’t expect to enjoy this read as much as I did, I was captivated right from the start, it was engaging and a refreshing read. Politics isn’t something I normally read about, but everything else that happened in this read balanced it out and I found my self utterly drawn to this book, and its characters. It had many twists and turns, but the one thing I wanted more of was action, every time there was action it was over within a second and I wanted it to build but nonetheless, it was a vividly mentally visual read.

I loved the concept of each of these characters and their nicknames and the real meanings behind them.
I loved Naira’s character she is determined and confident and knows what she wants but she is made even better when Lethal comes into the picture. These two share something so powerful, special, intimate and intense, but boy oh boy is amazing to read! There are so many feelings in this book that are raw and emotional to the reader let alone the characters them self, I’m just so glad that in the end some understanding and love was brought between the two.
I loved everything about this book, and hope after that ending that this isn’t the last we see of these characters and their story.
I highly recommend this read!

Manda Mellett’s MC books have just gotten better! Blades’ Edge is book 10 in the Satan’s Devils MC Series. For these books being part of series they can most definitely be enjoyed as a stand-alone, but after reading this book I now want to go back and read the others in the series and explore more of this author’s incredible writing style and this world we have been thrust into and love the characters even more.

We are immediately taken on Tash & Blade’s action-filled journey, a journey is that filled with ups and downs, emotional heartbreaking moments, pasts that affect the characters life now, strong characters that realise they actually make each other better and stronger. Brittney Butler is a new author for me, not knowing what to expect I went in expecting good things due to brilliant synopsis that was written, what I wasn’t expected was how brilliant and utterly captivating this story was.

This book did have some darkness due to some real raw parts of the storyline, but this author wrote them perfectly. They felt real, believable, raw and honest. This book brought a rollercoaster full of emotions for myself as the reader and also the characters Taylor and Hayze. This plot line really draws you in from the start, and I didn’t want to put it down till the end! Even with intense connection Taylor & Hayze have from the beginning you couldn’t help but hope they could sort out whatever could possibly be happening and keeping them from getting their HEA.

Back in the RingBack in the Ring by Brooke May
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another brilliant read from Brooke May. Being my second read from this author I knew what to expect, but what I didn’t expect was for this read to be as good as it was. Back in the Ring is part of The Predator Series and can be read as a standalone.

This was an incredible book of moving on, and having a second chance at love, all the while trying to carry on living a painful day to day life whether that’s from laying low or trying to carry on a legacy of a loved one and to be struggling even more so.
The emotions that are in this read are real, raw and relatable to many people, and while reading I could feel the characters, Noah & Bijou’s emotions roll off the page. While you are rooting for the characters throughout, you do wonder whether their individual pain and heartbreak is too strong for them to move on and get a HEA with each other.
None of the less with all the emotions in this read, with one minute having tears in my eyes and the next smiling, it’s a brilliant romance read that I couldn’t put down, I was captivated from start to finish.

After this read, I can’t wait to see what happened in the other books in this series! I will definitely be going back and reading the others and whatever else this author brings – Brooke May has definitely become one of my go-to authors after this one!

Immortal DesiresImmortal Desires by Melanie James
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Immortal Desires is an excellent anthology filled with sexy, thrilling steamy reads that keep you hooked and captivated from the start, each book I read was better than the last, and I loved reading from the array of authors that got involved with amazing read.

One of the books that stood out for me is Flirty Dancing by Jennifer Theriot I really enjoyed this read and each character that was involved in the story, Dee, Bonnie & Linda were bright and supportive for Kitty and just want she needed when she unexpectedly passed over to “The Green Room”. This book has humour, raw emotions and while its sad to think that Kitty was taken from her family and kids to early there was something fun about this read, I liked how she was taught channeling so that she can go back and see her kids and visit with Sam. With this being my first read from this author, I really didn’t know what to expect but after this quick, easy flowing read I will be looking forward to reading more from her.

Another read that I really enjoyed was the Dragon and the vampire by AK Michaels. The characters Ronan and Starr have a great connection that builds over time. This read brought a completely different spin on other vampire reads that I have read and brings in other fantasy characters that you wouldn’t normally put together. I loved their encounters they had with each other, it just built what you could tell would be a brilliant relationship in someway. Both of these character bring extra depth to this story they are relatable and real in the sense of their personality rather than their supernatural abilities. This was a captivating read that gave me a new author to look for. I will be looking to see what more this author has to offer.

This is a great collection of books that should not be missed, it will give you new authors to love and maybe another read buy your already favourite author! Don’t miss it!

This book was epic from the get go, with incredible characters that are strong, powerful & independent. This book was filled with passion, romance, sexiness. It had action, adventure and an ending that I definitely did not see coming. It was filled with twists and turns and had me on the edge of my seat through out the whole read.

Surviving Grace is another incredible addition to this already captivating and epic series. But sadly, it’s the last in The Surviving Series, and May I say the best. This book has to be read as part of the series and not as a stand-alone, it flows brilliantly from the start and ties up all the characters from the previous books in this series, but to make it even better we get Grace’s story. This is a emotional read from the beginning and is expressed more with the poetry that’s in it. This is Grace’s story about finding yourself, learning to trust and to try and live her life again and get away from her past.

Ashley Bostock has created another series, that even after book 1 Nothing But Trouble you can tell how brilliant this series Irresistible Billionaire’s will be.
I loved our main characters, Michael & Sophia, from the beginning. This author has a brilliant way of creating real and relatable characters, and to make it even better she has created a brilliant storyline that I was captivated with from start until the very end.
This book has many twists, ones that you don’t expect and ones that you hope to see happen and when they do, it brings an extra level of excitement to the read. But even if you do expect them it doesn’t take the enjoyment away from this romantic read. I loved seeing both of these characters break down each other’s walls, but also make them see things in a different way. It really brought together their already real and true connection. Rainy Day Lovers (The Rocklyns Book 3) by Alicia Street – Review by Chantelle Smith

Rainy Day Lovers (The Rocklyns Book 3)Rainy Day Lovers by Alicia Street
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A brilliant romantic read with two strong, powerful characters, Rainy Day Lovers is Book 3 in The Rocklyns Series by Alicia Street. This is a captivating and inspiring read of determination, romance, second chances, and undeniable connections.

I loved how we first get introduced into this story and the characters with a flash back, but with that being said I also felt like throughout the story I felt like I skipped parts and missed out on information, but this does not put a dampener on this book, it’s romantic, and just a go-to book. There are a variety of different emotions you feel while reading it, you were smiling, you were sad and it had a lot of parts that are feel good and warm hearted.
I love how quickly Rainy calls Roman out when he gives her mixed signals, but I also love the depth that Rainy and Roman connects. Throughout the book Rainy knew what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to go after that, which made it even more special when Roman was determined for the same thing, especially after all he has been through.
Reading it in various POV’s really gives you a better insight into each character, their thoughts and most importantly their true feelings.

This is an incredible read that even though it’s part of a series, can easily be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone and you will not want to miss it!
Don’t miss this read, it will leave you wanting more, I can’t wait to see what this author does for the rest of this series!

Climbing The Walls (Hart & Cole Book 1) by Sacha T. Y. Fortuné – Review by Chantelle Smith

Climbing The Walls (Hart & Cole Book 1)Climbing The Walls by Sacha T. Y. Fortuné
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Climbing the Walls is a book like no other, and Sacha T.Y Fortuné has just set the mark high for anything to compete with this read.

Finishing this book has left me we even more raw, unexplained emotions than it was when I was reading it! This read is very real & raw. There are no words to describe how invested you get with this story, even though it starts off slow you know full well things will eventually turn into something more you still can’t help but wish things don’t turn bad as you imagine them to get!

This story takes you along on a journey of two normal yet flawed couple who love each other unconditionally even when all is against them. Kris & Nicole story is told in a completely new way to me, but it’s in a way that makes you even more completely emotionally invested in this read. This read makes you smile and laugh with Kiki’s antics, frustrated and angry to the point I’ve had to stop reading and take some time to process and forgive the characters all over again!
This is one of the best reads I have read in a very long time, it’s raw, real, it has angst, hot steamy passion and incredible characters twists and turns that leave you wanting and needing more, both Kris & Nicole have their story to tell and boy do they tell it!

I don’t want to lose these characters – I cannot wait for the next book Pandora’s Poison just to see how far the intensity can go with this story!
