This book definitely pulls at your heartstrings. You want the best for Cassie when she’s putting her heart on the table for Harry. You can’t help but fall in love with Harry as he pulls out all of the stops to capture Cassie and get her away from Evan who means her no good. You can’t help but stay hooked from the first chapter to the end to see which direction she chooses to go down with either guy. I love that it’s a realistic love story to quickly read. Surprisingly sweet and enjoyable book.

This book was a good read as it brought me back to the classic mystery movies and books of the past. The murder alone builds suspense, the descriptions of the famous spark your imagination. The old Hollywood feel gets me excited just reading the few chapters alone. I love the unexpected twists, the romance keeps a reader intrigued and the mystery makes this the best read. I love how it takes us to another time and place because it’s a much needed escape.

This is a cute and wholesome mystery and I love Sarah Biglow’s writing. I love a murder mystery and with a reverend out to solve it makes it even better. The story was easily developed and I enjoyed the way the mystery unfolded. After returning to her hometown, Margot is pulled into a mystery she feels compelled to solve. Complicating things worse is a snowstorm in the victim’s house which could lead to a deadly demise for someone. Margot’s own cousin is in charge of the investigation which could lead them to bump heads. This was a fun page-turner with wonderful characters who will keep you entertained from start to finish.

This book took me by surprise at how good it was but also multilayered. Full of action with the scenarios of her getting justice for herself and the other victims of Eddie’s crimes. Romance with she and Robin that she can have the best of both worlds and this is only the beginning for this duo! There’s a great sense of action from characters out to seek vengeance even in a completely fictional way.

This book is intriguing and fun to read! This book is a page-turner filled with action on each page and great world building in a fantasy land. I’ve enjoyed where it took me in Alice’s adventure. I love to follow the story of where Alice comes from and what she’ll do to rise above it at all costs. The fact that she’s out to set herself apart from her grandpa is truly spectacular and the supernatural fantasy realm is great for exploring your imagination especially with her ghost sidekick, Malcolm.

This book picks up where the first one left off and is a suspenseful read. This book is entertaining, easy to read, unpredictable but in the best ways that make the characters more lovable.

This is an exciting read as we follow Becky on the road to fame doing the rodeo circuit. With her best friend, Emily in tow, Becky lives at a horse ranch where she’s content until powers higher than herself force her to put a lot in perspective for her new life. I loved reading the morals this story leads up to from love lessons to lessons on life. I love characters that can brave a lot of storms and come out on top. This was a beautiful read.

An unknown force is out on a murdering rampage. Ezri attempts to stop this force without revealing her true identity but it also throws into question more about her mother’s murder. In a race against time, will she put who she is on the chopping block to save the community and the world as a whole? This book is a multi-layered trip on the mind as you travel between fantasy and the real world (in book form) but it’s entertaining from start to finish. Quite the page-turner as it keeps you tuning in to see which way Ezri goes, great action and suspense, unpredictable and great world building between two worlds of fantasy and the regular world. This book was nothing short of incredible.

This book, along with all the others I’ve read from Manda Mellett, are beautifully written and every character has great purpose. I think she brings out the best in her characters as she’s done with these two. In this book, we meet Lost and we meet Patsy, who unknowingly come into one another’s lives for a purpose bigger than the two of them. Lost is the definition of his name as he blindly followed Snake, the late president of the MC. The problem with Snake was he was his namesake as well: He’d planned a mutiny under Lost’s nose as he never suspected anything. Lost knows his faults better than anyone else: He’s made mistakes, lost everything, and knows failure. That is until he meets Patsy, who for the sake of her adult children, needs to be protected and Lost is ready to step up to the plate to do what it takes. Lost ignores his gut to scare her off but he does have doubts of his own before he steps up. Patsy believes she made the right choice to start over but now she has to step out to help her adult kids but she has to shield their identity until they’re discovered. Satan’s Devils are there in the knick of time to save the day. As an older woman and a more experienced woman, Patsy doesn’t need a man to rescue her but who is she to turn down help when she desperately needs it and she knows she has to face the fears she’s been running from. In order to save Lost, Patsy has to instill confidence and a sense of worth into him so he can not only step up to protect her but to protect the MC as well. Again, I cannot get enough of this writer and her books!

This was an easy read, great world building, and entertaining.

This collection of stories is amazing because they all range in different ways. There’s a lot of stories with ranges of genres. From English kings to businessmen to Irish blood suckers but these female conquerors take the show. These books take us in different times and different periods. Each heroine teaches you something about yourself. You go on an adventure with each character through each story, learn more about them and more about yourself as well. This is an inspirational read for any chick who loves action-packed stories. Every story is whimsical, entertaining and original in their own way. Every story is a page-turner that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Each and every character is amazing and wonderful! Great pick!
In this book, we, the readers, will read eight books by 8 esteemed authors with different takes on love from different perspectives. Tamara Ferguson, author of “Two Hearts’ Alliance,” in an arranged marriage of sorts, an unknown enemy seeks to destroy it. These two characters must prove their love to ween off the enemy if it’s a united front. Natalie Ann’s “Eternal,” will have two people who’ve sworn off love to find their way back to the open arms of a love they never knew existed. Suzanne Jenkins’. “Wedding At Firehouse Ranch” has a curvy girl showing a play boy how to settle down. Cynthia Cooke’s, “All My Loving,” has Naomi with her guards up but she has to tear down her walls to have the courage to rekindle a love she’s never known. Alicia Street’s, “Make Me Burn,” is by far one of the best as we meet Jinx who isn’t ready to settle down for love but she wants everything she can’t have. This is one of my favorites of the books in this collection. Stephanie Queen’s, “Playing With the Bridesmaid,” these characters are on the opposite end of the age spectrum but they’re ready for love and where it takes them. Mona Risk’s “Between Babies And Girlfriends,” follows a teenage suicidal mom who abandons twin babies when the doctor has to raise them but his girlfriend who is dying to get married won’t help him with the babies. This is another favorite as you want to wish the Dr. Brian Dutton nothing but happiness. You know his girlfriend isn’t right for him and you want someone to rescue him from himself as he’s going down the wrong road with this girlfriend of his. Jen Talty’s, “The Right Groom” follows a runaway bride with a groom that won’t take no for an answer. Patrice Wilton’s, “Wedding Knot,” an engaged couple has no trust but that trust is tested when two friends develop feelings for one another or will the engaged couple manage to make their way down the aisle OR will the bride choose her trusted friend to make her forever with? This is another favorite of mine. Three of eight books I loved to read. Not that anything was wrong with the other five but my favorites are above in my summaries and I think you’ll discover your own favorites as you continue to read through this pack of stories.
I enjoyed reading this because it gives some idea of how our future generations will react to the right now in the future. Ahora, one of the main characters and her schoolmates, must learn savage experiences. Living a protected life, their history is appalling. The doctor and her inmates were put through an ordeal but it was a need. The weight of authority is weighing down on them. They must remember “Truth. Admiration. Resilience” as you read through this rousing and harrowing tale of destruction, endurance, and ambition. This is a book of determination and endurance. I love this because it teaches a great story which everybody should read and want to be a part of. A haunting yet harrowing story which is a page turner, great world building in a unique time period, easy to read, unpredictable, the characters are great, the story is original, informative and entertaining! Take the time to read this and you won’t be disappointed!

Bad-tempered, impolite, problematically attractive Milo Papatonis is the king of morons. She usually tries to keep her opinions to herself but Jill has known Milo all her life and he’s done so much to her from a young age to now as adults as roommates. The truth is he’s secretly tempting to Jill but she’s in denial about it LOL. The situation will be short-lived and platonic as well. As she decides to pack up to leave the town she knows to pursue her dreams, Jill finds that she knows what morons like Milo do and she decides to get out of dodge before she winds up with a broken heart. By the sounds of it, it seems Jill is willing to be wrong when it comes to falling for a jerk named Milo. This book was funny, witty, romantic, steamy and had great characters to boot. Pick up this quick read and you will NOT be disappointed!

Sally and Nolan come from opposite sides of the world and share in common losing loved ones to cancer. I loved how the two stories bring the characters together.

Ezri must enlist the help from the regular world and she has to enlist the help of the magical kingdom to save them all. This book was a great read, full of action and has a great storyline. Great world-building from the magical kingdom to the actual world. I love this book. The book was unpredictable, easy to read and entertaining!

Matchmaker Melinda is exceptional at her job in the town of Chester where she’s coupled almost everybody around. As a widower, she aspires to help everyone find the love she’s experienced with her late husband. She’s protecting her own heart by being one and done with marriage after the loss. Adam is a retired marine who has great pain from the war and his heart is no exception to being bruised and battered so he strives to protect it. Melinda opens a part of him he’d thought had died and brightens his outlook on life. Melinda hires the marine as a carpenter to create a pergola in her backyard while he’s now open to what services she provides but there’s a friendship developing between the two. The only problem is will they bypass their past to create a future together? This story was sweet in the best ways. I loved how their chemistry was natural. Great characters with steamy and romantic interests made this book an easy read which I could not put down. This book makes you believe in love again and shows it’s okay to put your heart on the table for love.

When the maid of honor and best man of each party come together, they are out to get this bride and groom to make the best of their time. I loved Ty and Makenna’s chemistry as they’re both great characters with steamy scenes to suit. This book is as entertaining as they come. You find yourself rooting for these characters and is quite a page turner to see where they go. The maid of honor and best man will have you cracking up with their witty and funny banter.

Her past begins to unravel as she must decide who she can and can’t trust along the way. I loved the characters from Louvette to her friend Cara and her relationship with Arsen. This is just book one and can’t wait to see what the others have in store!

Drawn to who she is, he can’t leave without protecting her even if she doesn’t know it. I loved the characters’ chemistry and the way they’re drawn to one another in a way that is undeniable. The action kept the reader on their toes watching and protecting Sera just like Ian does. The mystery is suspenseful and intriguing. Love this one!

This is a beautiful book with unexpected turns and secrets along the way. Maggie, in 1966, ran from her hometown after her life turned upside down with a baby in tow but still young. Life throws you curveballs when everything seems to be going right. Rachel’s life is turned upside down after catching her husband cheating, her mom dies when she turns to Shadow Brook but rekindles her life with her high school sweetheart, Luke. When renovations are underway at the inn, Rachel comes across her mom’s old letters and journals in the attic. This is a beautiful story of forgiveness, love, overcoming hardship and full of sweet and sensual with a sense of humor to make this book a beautiful read!

I’ve enjoyed Madeline’s journey from the beginning of every book in this series. I love Madeline’s search for justice no matter where she is. This one was and is entertaining and original.

This book had a hold on me from the start to finish and peaked my interest just by the summary alone. Once you delve into it, you won’t be able to put it down. Social worker, Valerie Williamson, is about to come a whole lot closer to understanding her clients. She’s compelled to start a support group and the death of 19-year-old Carmen Davidson. Carmen’s death has pushed her to throw all of her principles out the window and the group members’ stories push her to ignite the fire from her past. Pushing the boundaries in her career and in her life, she has to fight for what’s right. I thoroughly enjoyed every single thing about this book and was quite surprised at how much I loved Valerie who is like a superhero and a personal inspiration to me as I’m attempting to do the same thing in my life with my career. This is one of my favorite books to date. Great book and it will not disappoint!
