While this is book 2, it can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading book 1.
What an amazing story. I didn’t think this one could top the previous but boy was I proven wrong.
This is a second chance romance story and those are some of my favorites. I was turning pages just to see what happened next in this gripping read.
Cant wait for more in this series!

Five Stars

Written in the Stars is the second book in the Fallen Eagle MC Series by T. Birmingham. This series should be read in order because it follows the first book and the characters are recurring. Plus why would you want to miss out on the fabulous first book in the series, A Terrible Beauty. This romantic suspense had me hooked on the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until I finished the last. It is fast paced and an emotional roller coaster. It had me laughing out loud and also reaching for a tissue a time or two. A book that can move me so much and leave me with a book hangover for days after is definitely Five Stars. I love Eagle and Winter’s story and how their characters grew throughout the book. This is such a great series an$ I look forward to reading more by T. Birmingham. I have to say this is my new favorite book of 2019.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Written in the Stars is the 2nd book in the Fallen Eagles MC Series by T. Birmingham. It continues after A Terrible Beauty, and should not be read as a stand alone. This story focuses on Winter and Eagle (or Davis) and their growing relationship. I like that it has overlapping characters and history from the first book, but enough of its own content to make it equally enjoyable. The characters are wonderful and their relationships are strong. At first I thought it was weird that Winter and her sisters are named after seasons, but after this book, it makes sense. Their personalities align with their names too which I thought was cool.
This book is a perfect balance of romance and suspense and kept me engaged start to finish. There is the mystery of the murders, but also the developing relationship. The more I got to know the characters, the more I loved them. I would like to read more about the Markham sisters, if the series continues. I love the real life situations, as well as the emotions involved. The hurt, love, self doubt, courage, fear, strength that the characters experience and often struggle with. Very real life down to earth story. Highly recommend it.

T. Birmingham did it again. I love Written in the Stars. That does not mean I do not love A Terrible Beauty because I do. I just love Winter and Eagle characters. Again this is a sensitive subject matter and there is still the warning for older teens and adults only. This story has suspense, military romance, and even some thriller mixed in. This installment is about Winter and Eagle. Eagle is the president of the Fallen Eagles and Winter runs the Salon in town. There is a mystery that has come knocking on the door of the town. Will everyone come together to protect each other or will there be a fall out and no one is safe? I hope you enjoy this story and remember to keep tissues close by.

T. Birmingham took sensitive subject matters and created a wonderful book series, Fallen Eagles MC Series. Book 1 is A Terrible Beauty which is a novella and a great opening to say the least. The way Birmingham brought the characters to life on the page is outstanding. I felt like I was there watching everything transpire. I will have to say that there are some adult subject matters and I would recommend this story to be for older teens (16 & 17) and adults. This story is a suspense and military romance genre. Birmingham sent me on a roller coaster ride with my emotions and found it difficult at some points within the story. When I found that happening I had to reassure myself it was a fiction book. This story is about Kit and Lee and everything around them. I hope you enjoy this story as well as I have and remember keep tissues by you while reading.

This was an exciting, romantic, and funny second book in this series. It can be read as a stand alone but there is backstory on some of the characters in the first book that is not in this novel. I really enjoyed Eagle aka Davis and his role in this novel. He had more than meets the eye and actually showed more of a soft side when it came to Winter. She was amazing though and absolutely my favorite person in this novel. She embraced her curvy body and had a spitfire personality just like her sisters. I also liked the crime portion thrown into the storyline. It seemed to help it move along giving the romance a bit more excitement. Great novel!

This is book 2 in this suspense series. This story holds you captive with the budding romance as well as suspense. This book is not for those under 18 do to graphic violence and adult Content.

This is Winter and Eagles incredible story. Eagle is the president of the Fallen Eagles MC. He has given a lot to his country. Including his time with his kids. As president of the motorcycle club all of the members are veterans, as well as family. Trouble is in the air.

Winter is her own person. She does things her way. She also owns and runs the Salon in town. Her family is close and have each others back. When murder comes knocking on this town. Everybody comes together to protect each other.

T. Birmingham has done it again. This book is a real page turner,I could not put it down. While it is a full length novel. It was a fast read. The characters make the story real. Written in the Stars by T. Birmingham is the second book in the Fallen Eagles MC series. This book was so much more than I was expecting.

Winter and Davis are amazing together and were even before they were together. They seemed like two pieces of a whole and they worked for me.

Winter reminded me a bit of my younger daughter. She is sarcastic and hard to connect with emotional when she is feeling out of control. I think we all do it to some extent but Winter makes it an art.

Davis is truly a hero. After serving our Country and sacrificing so much during that time and getting hurt both physically and mentally. He didn’t allow any bitterness and anger change him for the worse.

I’m surprised how much I enjoyed this book and enjoying this series. It’s definitely not the typical MC series or least not like the ones I’ve read in the past and I like it.

This boll is as gripping and as consuming as the first. This author seriously knows how to write a novel that will grab your attention and keep you invested in every single detail throughout the whole book.
The whole way through I kept trying to figure out what was happening but the story was so fast paced and full of twists and turns that it kept me on my toes.
This book can be read on its own however I really do recommend reading book 1 first. They are both just so good I think you would be missing out by only reading one of them.

Written in the Stars is book two in the Fallen Eagles MC Series Romantic Suspense, Military Romance by T. Birmingham. This story is about Eagle and Winter. T Birmingham just has this way with words that has you hanging off every word, while never quite anticipating the impact these words will have or which way the story will go. It is always a sweetly intense experience to read these stories, and they just get more irresistible.

Winter is the most intense character, and the most puzzling. While she seems easy to read, she is way more complex that what I first thought. Her attraction to Eagle is bone deep, and any relationship with these two will never be boring. Fraught with danger, madness and mayhem, this author carries on the burning inquisitiveness, the anticipation of unraveling the mystery, the lusty loving between two hot blooded, eccentric and honour driven characters and their families and friends. All of these elements come together to produce a high quality story that will have you desperate for more. 5 stars.

A Terrible Beauty (Fallen Eagles MC Book 1)A Terrible Beauty by T. Birmingham
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A Terrible Beauty by T. Birmingham is the first book in the Fallen Eagles MC series. I was intrigued by this book after reading the synopsis. You don’t see a lot of MC’s with women as members but the Fallen Eagles has female members and not just to sit and look pretty which I really liked. I also liked that they are Veterans or at least the characters we have got to know in this book.

Kit isn’t the girl she used to be before her deployment. She saw some horrific things and experienced some major trauma but the only thing that has helped her keep it together is the Fallen Eagles and Lee, her childhood sweetheart.

The flashbacks were tough for me to read. It broke my heart to think that we had Soldiers who had similar experiences. I enjoyed this book and looking forward to the next book.

A Terrible Beauty is the first book in the Fallen Eagle MC Series by T. Birmingham. I’m amazed by the amount of details backed into this story. It had me hooked on the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until the last page. This book has a strong undertone of PTSD and the things that soldiers, both men and women, go through while serving their country. This book features Kit, who is a wounded but so strong female lead. And how she is dealing with being home from war, but can you really leave war behind? And Lee, also home from the war, trying to get back what he a Summer (Kit) had before the joined up. This book deals with deep subjects and the author does a great job defining the way things happen when issues come up. I really enjoyed this first book and am looking forward to the rest of the books in this series. I highly recommend this book, author and series.

A Terrible Beauty is book one in the Fallen Eagles MC Series by T. Birmingham. It is one of the best Suspense, Military Romance stories I have read in a long time. It was also incredibly heartbreaking, yet it inspired me too. My heart ached and at the same time, I witnessed a love resurrected, which was stunning.

Kit and Lee both saw and lived through imaginable horrors. They experienced things no person should ever have to experience. Their scars were deep and seemingly impossible to come back from. But Kit demonstrated the sheer strength and endurance of the human spirit. That no matter how beat down and broken a person is, there is hope that somehow they can carve out an existence that will ultimately bring peace and happiness. Lee never gave up and together, after great hardship, found their way back together. Their story was brutal, horrific, determined and the title of it says it all. A Terrible Beauty. It was beauty, in all its stripped down ugliness. 5 stars.

Written in the Stars is a well written love story. It is about finding and loving yourself no matter your flaws. Winter keeps to herself not because she is shy but because she sees and feels with her all. I loved her character she gave off a ice queen vibe but that wasn’t who she truly was. She was sweet and loving. At first look she seems timid and rude but as the story develops she grows. Eagle has seen and done so much and it has left him physically and emotionally scared. I really enjoyed these two characters journey. The author has a great thing going and I can’t wait for the next book. These sister’s are hardcore and loving. The men in their lives are loyal and HOT!

Written in the Stars is the second book in T. Birmingham’s Fallen Eagles MC series and I absolutely loved it! I have to say that I have loved EVERY SINGLE book I have read by this writer! I guess you could read this book as a standalone but I implore you, do not! You need to read the first book as it ‘sets the scene’ and you will the people from the first book again in the second and so on!
When I picked up Written in the Stars, I knew that I will need (internal need not someone telling me to read) to finish it in one sitting, I knew that I would not be able to fall asleep if I left off before the end … so I read it during the weekend and I am telling you, give yourself a present and spend a weekend with the series! Written in the Stars is the story of Davis “Eagle” Landon, a businessman and president of the Fallen Eagles MC and someone who gives so much back to the community and all the veterans, and Winter Markham, business owner and one of the Markham sister and who carries the world on her shoulders despite of the wonderful friends and family … Eagle has been attracted to Winter forever and finally, both of them let the sparks fly … mix into it a serial killer and a copycat and you will be glued to the edge of your seat and you forget to breathe at times … so well is the story written, so vivid are the details and the relationships, so intense are the emotions … I cannot wait for the next book in the series and knowing from reading most of T Birmingham’s writing, it will be another smashing story that will not leave you alone …

A Terrible Beauty is the first book in T. Birmingham’s Fallen Eagles MC Series. It is listed as a novella but it didn’t feel that way to me when I was reading it. It has a lot of content, feeling, and background. The characters were well described, so you got a sense of who they were and their relationships with each other. It was well written, and I cannot wait to read the 2nd book in the series. I highly recommend it, but I do give caution to readers, there is some intense scenes involving sexual abuse and torture, along with some PTSD situations.
The book is largely about Kit Markham and her high school sweetheart Lee Devereaux, though there are a lot of important supporting characters. Both Lee and Kit served time in the military, and while they kept in contact, Kit went through some trauma she has hidden for years from nearly everyone. It has caused a lot of strain on their relationship. While they both love each other, is that enough? Can Kit get through her struggles and allow herself to be happy?

Written in the stars is the second book in the Fallen Eagles MC written by Ms. Birmingham and my second read by this author. The characters are well written and I love how real this author made them real. The plot was great even if a little sad with few little twists.
Davis “Eagle” Landon has given up a lot for his country an eye, a leg, time with his kids. He’s retired the owner of several businesses and the President of the Golden Trail, PA Veteran MC, Fallen Eagles, this former Texan has his roots firmly planted. He’s ready to settle down again, and only one woman will do.
Winter is different she is sensitive and a bit of a loner. She is quiet and often sarcastic. She’s also the owner of the best (and only) salon in town. As the youngest Markham, she’s seen firsthand the many struggles her older sisters have endured, and as much as the prospect scares her, she’s ready for a love that’s all her own. And, well… She might look like a fairytale to Eagle, but Winter has always preferred her men a little rough around the edges.
Winter has a darker history than anyone realizes, and with a serial murderer/rapist who doesn’t discriminate between males or females terrorizing the Philadelphia area, no one is safe.
Will Eagle find the serial murderer/rapist before he or she grabs Winter? Will they find their other half in each other? I really enjoyed this story and I hope the next installment is about Hammond and Autumn…

Written in the Stars (Fallen Eagles MC Book 2) by T. Birmingham is a second chance romance story about a MC that is made up of veterans. It is the second book in the series and I advise that you read the first book Terrible Beauty so you get a better understanding of the characters and their world. This book is focused on the President of the MC and his second chance at love but there is also something much darker and sinister going on in the small town that sees time running out for them before things get much worse. There is so much going on and a lot of players that you are never bored.

This story will leave you with your emotions on a roller coaster ride, there is heartache and sorrow but it is also heart warming and yes there will be tears but there is also laughter. The story had me engrossed to the very end. T. Birmingham is a great storyteller and the characters are easily lovable with their flaws, their quirks and all their insecurities that you can not help but fall in love with them.   Bring on the next story

Kit is a new person and no longer answers to her given name Summer. After being held captive for 30 hours and experiencing life altering torture and embarrassment she can no longer claim to be who she was. Her secret of what happened haunts her and has caused a rift between everyone she loves. Her PTSD from all war related things doesn’t help any and nothing seems to be working to help. Lee her former love doesn’t understand and wants to help. He knows she is keeping secrets but his love for her is deep. I loved both characters and the deep love Lee had for Kit. I was shocked by what she went through. I don’t recommend this book to those who are fain of heart. The torture and things these characters went through in relation to war are very realistic. I loved this novel though and can’t wait to read more from this author.

A Terrible Beauty (Fallen Eagles MC Book 1) by T. Birmingham is a second chance romance that is not pretty and not your normal MC story, it is a story of a MC that is a family of veterans. It is a story of the horrors of war that has affected the lives of so many. It shows how vile some people can be.

Whilst no longer part of the war but still a victim, Kit is broken and is forced to finally face her past face to face. A past that has haunted her for years. A past that has destroyed lives.

It is a fast paced story that is hard to read some of the scenes but I thoroughly enjoyed it and I devoured it easily in one sitting. This story will leave you with a heartache but also a warm heart but beware there will be tears. The story is so powerful it had me engrossed to the very end. T. WRITTEN IN THE STARS is book 2 in the “Fallen Eagle MC Series”. While I think it can be read as a stand-alone, there are a few threads carried from the first book so I think it would be a richer reading experience if you can read in order.

Like TERRIBLE BEAUTY this story is a romantic suspense that is full of great characters, well defined plot points and a style of writing that took me on the journey with Winter and Eagle (I’m not on a date with him, so can’t call him Davis). The story moves quickly and held my interest from start to finish.

Part of the story line in WRITTEN IN THE STARS can be tough to read but I think the author did a great job of keeping it real without glossing it over. I’ve read books with same subject matter that either made it so grizzly it seemed unrealistic or so shiny that it made it more romance than what it was.

This series has a good balance of suspense vs romance and I appreciate that everyone’s strength is highlighted regardless of gender “norms”.

This is absolutely a “one-click” author for me and I absolutely recommend this series.

A Terrible Beauty is the first book in the Fallen Eagles MC series. It can be read as a standalone.

It took me a couple of chapters to get into the book, but once it got going, it kept up a good pace. A Terrible Beauty deals with issues that may trigger some readers. There were a few parts that made me tear up, so you might want to have some tissues nearby, just in case.

One quote from the book that stood out to me:
“Just as the road to hell was paved with good intentions, so too, sometimes, the path toward ‘beauty’ was paved with all that was ‘terrible’ and ‘ugly’ in the world.”

By T. Birmingham
Rated 5 stars!!

When I first started this I didn’t think I would be very excited to read it. It deals with a younger woman and an older man and those are usually not my romances that I care for. But I am pleasantly surprised at this story.
These two characters we met in the last book and each one has had their own battles, maybe not all visible ones, but they are still there. How they learn to overcome and move forward is a definite journey I was glad to take with them.

I loved reading Eagle/Davis and Winter’s story! I can *feel* their attraction, interest and love for each other. That first kiss between the two of them was so freaking H-O-T. Then I had to giggle a little as Casper showed up and put his own spin and two cents into the mix Ha ha ha! Sexiness mixed with some humor! My fav! I also loved that Eagle/Davis’ seems so enraptured by Winter. It makes me in awe of him. His thoughts…his gestures for her are all are so…soo amazing. He truly gets her! On all levels! The whole “Witchy” thing and the way Eagle thinks she is magical. Genius!! I loved all terms he uses in reference to “witches “ but describing Winter. It is soooo sweet!

My fav line:

“You’re bewitching, babe. Everything about you is like magic”.

This is the second in the series and I can not wait for the next one! I have grown to love this crew. The writing was mostly smooth and easy to read. There is an element of danger that threw me off for a bit but when it all comes together..Blew my mind!!!

I’ve read (and love) this author’s “Wild Beast” series and was not sure what to expect in am M/C series. It was great.

This is a great introduction to a new series and I’m completely invested in it already. The world building is spot on, secondary characters are intriguing, set up to events in past and present tense is brilliant and overall a great story.

This is a shorter book than I thought it would be yet the ending is not rushed. One of the things I loved about this story, is the equality among the sexes. Women and men are treated as equals both in club positions and strength of character.

I’m giving this 5 stars and would go higher if I could.

Written in the stars is the second book in the Fallen Eagles MC series by T. Birmingham. I really enjoyed the first book in this series, so I couldn’t wait to discover more of the stories and characters. This book is a fantastic romantic suspense- with danger, a serial killer, intrigue, gripping developments, drama, and so much more. I was hooked from the very first page and read it all in one evening, because I had to know how things would play out. This book is definitely my favourite of the series, so far.
There are a lot of characters, a lot of detail, and a lot going on- but Ms. Birmingham has managed to keep everything flowing smoothly and easily. The story is clever, and really well done. The characters are all fully developed individuals with their own personalities- and all add to the whole storyline, and reading experience.
I loved Eagle and Winter- that they were so different, yet fit perfectly together. Winter is Kit’s younger sister (Book #1), and there is a lot more to her than people realise, and it isn’t what anyone would guess. It was very easy to connect with her and Eagle and get invested in their story.
But this book is more like two stories in one, as there is a suspense/thriller playing out at the same time. Both woven together brilliantly and seamlessly. As there is a bridging storyline and recurring characters in this book, I really recommend reading the first book before beginning on this one- as having every detail will elevate this whole reading experience for you.
I can’t wait to continue the excitement- bring on book #3!!

Thank you, Ms. Birmingham!

A Terrible Beauty is the first book in the Fallen Eagles MC series by T. Birmingham. This is a novella length book, with a wounded warrior/MC romance. There is quite a lot happening in a small space, but Ms. Birmingham handles it all beautifully. It feels like a much longer book, without feeling rushed or lacking in parts. It has quite a complex storyline which has been cleverly crafted into a very engaging and captivating story.
The story has emotion, drama, some suspense, and romance. There were moments of heartache, comradery, community, friendship, and tension- as well as moments that were truly heartfelt. This is definitely a character driven storyline and I enjoyed meeting these interesting, likeable and fully developed individuals.
The story has a great pace and is a quick and easy read. I can’t wait to dive into the rest of this series.

Thank you, Ms. Birmingham!

A Terrible Beauty is a military romance mixed with romance and suspense. We have the Fallen Eagles MC in the suburbs of Philadelphia and it is fully made up of veterans. Their goal is to help other veterans and their families. Despite of the horrors they have lived and survived, they still give their all to help the other veterans … It is the WAR that is a TERRIBLE BEAUTY and the writer has given us a terribly beautiful story of the demons that Kit Markham has been fighting to overcome for years, the PTSD that is holding her hostage, the pain she is causing to others when she thinks she is actually keeping them safe … and then there is Lee Deveraux, her high school sweetheart and another vet and the only one who is able to offer her peace and refuge … is she ready to embrace it when the demons are coming out to play and will not stop until they have been paid in blood!
I absolutely love the Fallen Eagles MC series and I hope that the writer will keep gracing us with the stories that are as unforgettable as this one … A Terrible Beauty …

5 out of 5 stars

The story Written in the Stars (Fallen Eagles MC Series Book 2) by T. Birmingham is a book with both suspense and romance. I loved reading it just as much as I did the first one. It is a story that draws you in and I found myself lost in the book until I had finished. There are page-turning moments which had me wondering what was going to happen next. There is a mystery that must be solved which will keep you guessing. This is also a story about romance and a connection that is felt by two of the characters. I loved reading about the characters of Davis “Eagle” Landon and Winter Markham. Eagle is a businessman. He is also the President of the Fallen Eagles MC. He gives a lot back to the community, especially veterans. He also is very attracted to Winter. Winter is a woman who owns her own business and has wonderful friends and family. Winter can feel lonely and like she is separate/apart. She also feels an attraction to Eagle. What does the future hold for Eagle and Winter? Will the sparks fly, and a serious relationship start? The Fallen Eagles have taken on a case involving a serial murderer. Those that are being murdered fit Winter’s description. How much danger is she in? Read this book to find out. I enjoyed reading about the additional characters that are in this story. Many of them were introduced in the first book in the series. There are plenty of interactions and bantering that goes on. I like the feeling of family and home that the story gives you as well as the close friendships that you read about. My emotions went up and down along with the characters and I found myself caring about what happens to them. This is a wonderful second book in the series and I look forward to reading the next one.
