WOW!! This is my 3rd read by this author…Its been awhile since I have picked up the other 2 books and I totally forgot just how much I love this author. This book had me completely hooked and as I was reading I found myself going back to make sure I had every single detail correct. When I finished I had to go back and look at my reviews for the other 2 and was not surprised that those 2 books completely blew me away as well.

This story was outstanding and I went in knowing it was an MC story but so impressed at how different this author treated this MC, it’s not like any other I have ever read, and although I will always love my MC books I also love the direction this author went. A few scenes were hard to read and I found myself flinching and would have definitely closed my eyes had I been watching these scenes on TV, but I fell head over heels for these characters and Kits story about broke me and Lee listening to it was so emotional, I had tears more than once and there was a twist to this book that came right out of left field, had no clue and was absolutely not expecting it.

I’m not going into any more details about the story itself, it needs to be read to fully appreciate it and I can not wait to dive in to book 2. Take my advice and read this story, better yet read all of this author’s stories…They are amazing and although I can’t put into words what it is about the style of writing I can say I love love love it!!

I was very excited to read this book. I loved the first two and this one is no exception. It was enjoyable getting to meet Kai and how he reacted to seeing Janae for the first time. Janae tried to stay strong about her no relationship rule, but Kai was able to melt her defenses. I won’t say how he did it. But DANG! I loved it! So creative!

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Jacks/Cam and Mal/Beck again. They truly have amazing relationships and I love seeing what they are all up to. Plus their bantering is so cute!

This story flowed so nicely. The characters are interesting and full of life. I love reading this authors books. She has a way with her stories that draw me in and make me care about the characters. This can be read as a stand alone (why would you?) but if you want the “full-package” you need to read the first two In the series. They are just as good. I promise! This epilogue! OMG! So perfect! It gave me chills!!

When I first started this I didn’t think I would be very excited to read it. It deals with a younger woman and an older man and those are usually not my romances that I care for. But I am pleasantly surprised at this story.
These two characters we met in the last book and each one has had their own battles, maybe not all visible ones, but they are still there. How they learn to overcome and move forward is a definite journey I was glad to take with them.

I loved reading Eagle/Davis and Winter’s story! I can *feel* their attraction, interest and love for each other. That first kiss between the two of them was so freaking H-O-T. Then I had to giggle a little as Casper showed up and put his own spin and two cents into the mix Ha ha ha! Sexiness mixed with some humor! My fav! I also loved that Eagle/Davis’ seems so enraptured by Winter. It makes me in awe of him. His thoughts…his gestures for her are all are so…soo amazing. He truly gets her! On all levels! The whole “Witchy” thing and the way Eagle thinks she is magical. Genius!! I loved all terms he uses in reference to “witches “ but describing Winter. It is soooo sweet!

My fav line:

“You’re bewitching, babe. Everything about you is like magic”.

This is the second in the series and I can not wait for the next one! I have grown to love this crew. The writing was mostly smooth and easy to read. There is an element of danger that threw me off for a bit but when it all comes together..Blew my mind!!!

Surviving Eden is book one in the Surviving Series by Virginia Wine. I was intrigued by the blurb of this story, and just knew I was in for a spellbinding read.  I love the taboo genre, and this book was a delight to read.

Theo and Eden should never have played with fire.  Eden had tragedy strike and Theo was no stranger to loss, either. They were instantly drawn to each other, and although morally wrong, their feelings felt oh, so right. Their love was forbidden,  but the need could not be denied, and the ultimate sacrifice was made.

Getting to know Theo and Eden was easy to do as they were so hard to resist. Their story screamed at me to read it. Their feelings were evident and the attraction blindingly obvious. Surviving  Eden was emotional, arousing, addictive, splendid. Their journey was fraught with friction, suspense, drama, and those that wanted to see them fail. Their strength was immeasurable, their love unconditional, their story now told. 5 stars.

Alive was a thrilling 4 star read and book three in the Sundown series.
This isn’t my usual type of read however, I was pulled in right from the beginning, this is a zombie, post-apocalyptic themed story that has lots of danger, action and so much more.

Rafe and Charlie work at a facility that does top secret testing. After a plague breaks out in the facility they find themselves fighting for their lives from several entities. Both characters are strong in their own ways. There are several twists and turns.

Will these two be able to find safety before it’s too late?

Courtney Konstantin does a great job with her detail in the story, I felt like I was right there with the characters. This is my first read from her and it was great. I look forward to reading more. If you like post-apocalyptic zombie stories you will like this book.

While this book is set in a post Apocalyptic world, if you get infected with the plague you will turn into a flesh-eating zombie. Charlie and Rafe both work at a place where secret experiments are being conducted. What will happen when the plague breaks out and everyone who is infected finds themselves in a world that’s been turned upside? What will Charlie and Rafe do,can they survive the zombies and their hunters?
Find out what happens next with these two and the other characters. I highly recommend reading this thrilling and suspenseful book.Im definitely going to be reading more by this Author.

Heart of a Hunk: Limited-Edition Collection of Bad Boy, Billionaire and Hunky Romance Heroes is an awesome anthology that will please all romance readers. Although this is a holiday collection these can definitely be read anytime.There is so many different kinds of romance in here that you will definitely find some that you love If not all of them. I laughed, I cried, I definitely swooned a bit. This is the best anthology I have ever read. There are so many unique characters, the authors did an amazing job bringing together so much emotion into a wonderful collection of stories. There is some mystery, action, drama, paranormal, heroes and so much more. I have read books from some of these authors before so I knew some of these stories would be great and I’m glad I got a chance to read from some new ones. I can’t say enough good things about this collection, so my advice is to read it, I highly recommend this amazing anthology.

The Mother In Law by Judy Moore was so much more than the synopsis indicated. I believe there were a few times when I actually gasped while reading it, especially at the end. What an ending it was too. I’m not sure what I was expecting before I read this book but it was beyond anything I could have expected or imagined.

There are so many things I could say about the characters and the story itself but I don’t know if I would be able to do it justice with my description and I’m afraid of spoiling something. This is a love story with many layers of others things.

This book is a must read if you like love with some mystery and a lot of oh my goodness.

Surviving Eden was a great 5 star read.
We start out in the past with a heartbreaking scene involving Theo and his family.
We jump ahead to present day, he is now a psychiatrist. When Theo gets a call about a tragic accident involving his best friend and wife the past memories come rushing back to him.

When he sees Eden at the funeral he has a connection with her, he understands her pain. He quickly leaves knowing he needs to get away from her. There is something about her that he can’t get out of his mind, an attraction he knows isn’t right. When fate brings her to his office things take a twist and get even more interesting.

Will these two be able to help heal each other’s hearts? Can they have a HEA?

I really enjoyed this book, I was pulled right in and didn’t want to stop until I was done. I really liked Theo and Eden. Theo was a straightforward man he never led anyone on as to what he wanted in the bedroom, and boy were there some hot scenes. Eden was great as well, she was determined to get answers to her questions no matter what. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. I can’t wait to read more from these two and this series.

Just reading the summary had me sitting up ready to read this book. I was so sad that the story ended and I have to wait for the next book. The author really pulled me in with this story. The characters were great. I didn’t feel like I was reading a cliché story. I won’t put n spoilers because I truly think you need to grab this book so we can be anticipating the next book together. I also liked the authors writing style and how smooth the read was.

Man I’m stunned. This author had me rethinking life on some levels. I felt Kit’s pain like it was my own. I’m confused on how she survived or lived with the guilt and pain. Then the other characters roles. Man the author had me emotional. I love a great MC book and this one is at the top. I’m still not sure if I read what I read lol. I love how the author brought this boom together. You definitely get a little bit of everything in this story. The bonds of family are strong when you stick together blood or no blood.

Surviving Eden by Virginia Wine is the first book in the Surviving series. I had some expectations going in after reading the synopsis and it far exceeded them.

Dr. Theo Grant has dealt with his fair share of pain. He losses his parents and younger sister at a young age. Then loses his best friend. He didnt know when he walked in the door for the funeral his world gets rocked.

Eden Barnett is just starting her life, getting ready to graduate college. But she meets the Dr. and she has no doubts about him.

A Terrible Beauty is the first book in the Fallen Eagles MC series is written by T. Birmingham and it’s the first book that I have read by this author. The characters are well written and I love how real this author made them real. The plot was great even if a little sad.
In the small town of Golden Trail, PA, the Fallen Eagles MC isn’t just any group of veterans. They’re patrons of the community, the protectors of veterans and townsfolk alike, and a motley group of world military-trained men and women. And their small town and the Philadelphia area aren’t afraid to call on the varied skills of this rough and ready crew to help out on a case or two.
Ten years ago, Kit Markham left her high school sweetheart, Lee Devereaux, behind to serve her country. She is not the same woman who returns she is just a shadow of her former self. She might, be damaged but she is the kickass Second of the Fallen Eagles MC. She stuggles to just to get by each day. The only things that help are her veteran MC, the Fallen Eagles, her family, and long, quiet rides on the back of Lee’s bike.
Lee has his own share of war wounds, and struggles but none worse than the burden he’s taken on to see that the Kit he once knew finds herself again. He can’t seem to find the girl he loved she is keeping secrets and he is tired of being kept in the dark.

Loving A movie star isn’t easy. To never be able to enjoy a quiet life. I didn’t envy Griffin and Alice. The story was sweet, funny and sad all at once. The author made the characters believable and relatable. Griffin was at first a really good character but once his flaws popped out I was like nope. But then he lets his feelings show and I liked him again. Alice was too wishie washy for me. I couldn’t take her serious for most of the book. I was proud of how she handle some situations and didn’t let it stop her journey.

Surviving Jordan is the third book in Virginia Wine’s Surviving series. I think the whole series has been leading up to this! The writing is better than ever, the drama and suspense is more intense than ever … Yes, you can read it as a standalone but do yourself a favor and read the series in the order as we meet the everyone in each of the books so it really feels as if every book builds upon the previous one!
Surviving Jordan is the story of Benjamin Thomas Stone (Alex’ brother) and Jordan Mitchell. They had instant attraction and they acted upon it and then suddenly, after Ben’s father dies, Ben backs off … no explanations … no obvious reasons … simply … Jordan keeps pining for Ben and unbeknownst to her so does Ben … years pass and it is time, time to … move on … and who enters as the potential love interest for Jordan? Our friend Steele who has actually literally saved her life …
The writer gives us mystery, romance, action, secrets, emotions … it is one heck of a ride and I promise you, once you get on, you do not want to get off!

T. Birmingham has taken on this veteran series. I look forward to see where this adventure will lead us. Her novella is just the beginning for this MC club. Her book is a real page turner and gets your blood pumping at the start. I love her characters, they are set in a world we can all relate to.Bring on book 2 T. Birmingham.

I’ve read (and love) this author’s “Wild Beast” series and was not sure what to expect in am M/C series. It was great.

This is a great introduction to a new series and I’m completely invested in it already. The world building is spot on, secondary characters are intriguing, set up to events in past and present tense is brilliant and overall a great story.

This is a shorter book than I thought it would be yet the ending is not rushed. One of the things I loved about this story, is the equality among the sexes. Women and men are treated as equals both in club positions and strength of character.

I’m giving this 5 stars and would go higher if I could.

Alive (Sundown Series Book 3) by Courtney Konstantin was a spine tingling, post-apocalyptic thriller that had me on the edge on my seat.

My first read by this author, I was pulled in by not only the cover but by the raving reviews. This book is part of a series, but you can read this one as a standalone. But I do wish I read the other books first because I believe I missed some character development and background info. But I will be going back and checking them out, because I love the world that this author has created.

I was pulled in right away, and for someone that is picking about their zombie books, I have to say I was impressed and loved every minute of this heart pounding read. I loved the attention to detail and how the author managed to instill fear into me. The suspense was thick and the situations were terrifying. I love the constant surprises and the raw emotions that the characters portrayed as the zombies closed in.

Overall this book will probably give me nightmares, so it gets my super high recommendation and of course, my stamp of approval.

Evie Berlinger is a kindergarten teacher by day, escort by night. Evie had a whirlwind of a childhood where she learned to suppress her empathic abilities. Now that she’s all grown up, she realizes that she can use this “power” to heal her clients. These men pay enormous amounts of money to the Ma Maison Agency just to be with her.

Though the blurb on the back of the book speaks of four different clients, this book mainly focuses on one in particular; Dylan McAlister. I’m assuming each book in the series surrounds a client in particular. Dylan is swoon worthy. Him being a gambler kind of turned me off a little but other than that, he’s the man. I believe he’s also good for Evie and I would like to see them together in the end. This story is about Evie becoming who she was meant to be and believing in herself. Dylan helps her with that and more. There is a bit of drama with Glenn (the pervert), some mystery with her fan (stalker?) and many sizzling moments with Dylan. There were a few parts that I found a little long but the story overall kept me interested to keep reading.

There is not a happy ending. This story is a part of Evie’s life. I’m interested to see what will happen with her next client and curious to find out who her fan is. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

I could not recommend this book enough! It’s a must-read romance that had me feeling all the feels. It’s books like this one that fuel my reading addiction! I love being so swept up in a storyline that I can read the book in one sitting. That feeling of experiencing the same emotions as the characters and feeling so invested in their story. I have nothing negative to say about this book, I loved everything about it! The story flowed seamlessly, the build up to the relationship wasn’t too action-packed and the story felt so real!

I can’t wait to dive in to my next read by this phenomenal author.

Written in the stars is the second book in the Fallen Eagles MC series by T. Birmingham. I really enjoyed the first book in this series, so I couldn’t wait to discover more of the stories and characters. This book is a fantastic romantic suspense- with danger, a serial killer, intrigue, gripping developments, drama, and so much more. I was hooked from the very first page and read it all in one evening, because I had to know how things would play out. This book is definitely my favourite of the series, so far.
There are a lot of characters, a lot of detail, and a lot going on- but Ms. Birmingham has managed to keep everything flowing smoothly and easily. The story is clever, and really well done. The characters are all fully developed individuals with their own personalities- and all add to the whole storyline, and reading experience.
I loved Eagle and Winter- that they were so different, yet fit perfectly together. Winter is Kit’s younger sister (Book #1), and there is a lot more to her than people realise, and it isn’t what anyone would guess. It was very easy to connect with her and Eagle and get invested in their story.
But this book is more like two stories in one, as there is a suspense/thriller playing out at the same time. Both woven together brilliantly and seamlessly. As there is a bridging storyline and recurring characters in this book, I really recommend reading the first book before beginning on this one- as having every detail will elevate this whole reading experience for you.
I can’t wait to continue the excitement- bring on book #3!!

The Way You Are is the fifth book in the Carolina Connections series by Sylvie Stewart. This is is a fun, light-hearted and fabulous contemporary romance/ romantic comedy/friends to lovers’ story with a slow-burning romance, steamy moments, and a wonderful cast of characters. Even though it is the fourth in a series, it could be read as a standalone. But I expect that after reading this book, you will probably go back to read the other books in the series as well.
Olivia and Brett meet unexpectedly, and get along immediately. Brett is smitten, and would love to have a chance with Liv- but she has a boyfriend and he is relegated to the ‘friend-zone’- a place he is all too familiar with. What happens you ask? Well, I really recommend reading all the hilarious details for yourself and discover if Brett finally makes it out of the friend zone.
This is a sweet, steamy, funny and very entertaining story. It has a great pace and a smooth flow. I read it in an afternoon. A really fun read!

This short novella is the prequel to the Soul Keeper series. It is a good introduction. It explains how the characters all met and the beginning of Theodora and Lyzander’s relationship. Although Lyzander is made out to be the bad guy keeping Theodora and her husband apart, I love him. I know he’s not the true antagonist of the story. He is introduced at the end of the book but we still don’t know who he is. This was smart on the author’s part, everyone will want to read the next book to find out who he is.

I have always loved vampire stories. This one had an original twist to it that I found intriguing; a person being the soul Keeper of a vampire. I tip my hat to Ms. Dubh for coming up with the idea. I really like Theodora, she is an independent woman who speaks her mind and doesn’t take crap from anyone. Her love of comic book characters makes her quirky and lovable. I feel bad for Dam but I think he’s handling things pretty well. Even though I know he loves Theodora very much, I want him to step aside and hurry up about it. I believe the love between Theodora and Lyzander is going to be epic and I can’t wait to read the next book.

Full Glasses and Burju Shoes by Blake Blessing. This is the story of Perrin Michaels & Emiliano Espocito or Perrin & Emil. They are both strong characters who have been thru their own special kinds of hell. Perrin is a glass half full kinda girl trying to keep as busy as possible so she doesn’t have to dwell on bad things. Emil is a strong, loving, protective war vet who is bitter and trying to just get by. Perrin dives into all types of hobbies, rock climbing, bunjee jumping the more extreme the better and Emil is trying to get back to his old pre-war self. He has horrible flash backs and doesn’t feel like he fits in. Once they meet sparks fly but they are both not really looking for a relationship because of their past. Perrin might just be what Emil needs to draw out of his bitterness and shell. Will they help heal each other or will they let their pasts dictate their futures. Such a good read that showed me the after life of our war heroes and how they try so hard to fit back into life after seeing such destruction and death. It will keep you thinking long after you’ve read it.

Nite Fire: Flash Point by C. L. Schneider. This is the very first Urban Fantasy book I’ve read and let me tell you I got sucked in instantly. I read the entire thing in one night because I couldn’t put it down. Its the story of Dahlia Nit who lives in the world of Drimera and works for Queen Naalish as an executioner. She soon has to flee her world for earth to save herself. She moves from town to town trying to save humans from things they can’t even see. Joining a detective trying to solve crimes she secretly protects people from her old world. She seems to be trying to redeem herself for her past. This book is full of shape shifters, dragons, & other monsters. This book is the ultimate never keep yourself from reading different types of books because you may just be surprised and love them.

Oh man am I in love with this series. This is the prequel book to the Soul Keeper Series and I must say that I am well hooked. I really found the whole pretense of the book to just grab me and drag me in. The author has such a unique and unusual take on vampires and soul mates.

Lets face it the whole triangle thing going on between Theodora, Lyzander and Sam is seriously unique. I quite think I am routing for Lyzander though I have to say. I really like how the author has weaved this complexity into the book and how it adds to the drama and spice. I really look forward to reading more from this author

This book hits all the right notes that a book should. This book is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the end of the world is not brought on by mother nature, but by the meddling of mankind. When a virus runs rampant through humanity, causing those who are infected to turn into flesh eating zombies, it turns into a race against the clock for survival. Our main characters, Rafe, (bad A** and one overall tough dude) and Charle, (whip smart, hot chick lab scientist) are on the run from those who are infected. Rafe is determined to get to his sisters and keep Charlie alive in the process. Charlie is strong, smart and is determined to prove to Rafe that she is his equal and can help him, and is not a liability.

Things change as they are venturing on when Rafe and Charlie discover they are being hunted, not only by zombies, but by mercenaries. Will they survive? You will have to read this book and the first two in this series. This book is amazing. Incredibly detailed and the plot is beyond fantastic. Konstantin has proven herself to be an incredible author and I cannot wait to read more novels by her,

Well i was certainly pulled straight in right from the get go it was an incredible read not my usual go to novel but it was a nice change and i highly enjoyed it. Written incredibly with an in depth amazing storyline and awesome character’s to be honest i was sad to reach the end but has left me thirsty to read more from this author that’s for sure!

Awakening of a Soul Keeper by Brienne Dubh is a Prequel in the Soul Keeper series. This book is a brilliant introduction to what I feel will be an amazing series.
The whole story I found to be unique. Although it contained elements of fantasy that is, on its own, quite common, the way the author combined these elements brings to life a uniquely interesting story. There were times I really felt sorry for Theodora. Not only was she thrust into this entirely unfamiliar world but her familiar, safe world was being compromised because of it. And yet how she dealt with everything bring thrown at her was great to read about.
I really felt like we were taken along on a journey through this book and it has left me excited to see what might be next for this series.

Rising Star by Susannah Nix is the first book in her new Star struck series. The book follows Alice, a sociology student trying to complete her dissertation and gain the PhD that she’s been working on for the last five years. As if that wasn’t stressful enough her roommate needs her to move out, so he’s boyfriend can move in, and her job as a background extra on the show Las Vegas General, is finished as it wraps up its final season. Now Alice is basically homeless with no income and a looming dissertation dead line fast approaching. Thankfully in walks the up and coming actor Griffin, who’s been playing the smoking hot doctor on LA General, and in desperate need of a dog and house sitter while he films the latest blockbuster hit in Atlanta.
Rising Star was a cute, fluffy, enjoyable romance, in the way that all well written romances are. It has the perfect moment when the two main characters realise that what they’ve been looking for has been in front of them all along; as well as the right amount of angst and cheesiness. Susannah Nix also tackles more serious issues of the #metoo and TIME’S UP in the field of academics, that is vastly underrepresented in popular culture. Alice was a very believable character as she faced these issues, and her demeanour to sweep it all under the rug, rather than face social and academic backlash is incredibly relevant. Many young women are scared to speak up, or undervalue themselves when something terrible like this happens. And just as Susannah made clear in her novel, none of this is ever ok. It’s your body, and your choice.
This novel was very inspiring, as well as a cute romantic-comedy novel, that I really did enjoy. Overall I gave it 4/5 stars.
