Flesh and Bone (Blood of Kaos Book 3) Nesa Miller is a great paranormal fantasy story that keeps you captivated with its action and drama, adventure and danger. I highly recommend reading the other two books in this series before this one, as you will have a better understanding of who the characters are and what makes them who they are now. Nesa weaves a tale that is magical and the world is easily imaginable with it’s paranormal and fantasy elements. The characters are interesting and fully developed beings and you can feel their pain and angst, loss and sadness, heartache and heartbreak, as we journey along with them. There is mystique and mystery, twists and turns, and bonds and love like no others.
The pages kept turning because I had to know what was coming and now I have to wait for the next book because the ending OMG…………..

Me and Cinderella (The Dirty Rooster Book 2) By Kelly Mooney is a contemporary romance story that captivating and quite emotional. Kelly has a way of drawing you in to her stories with her words and makes it so easy to get lost in the story and forget the world around you. I loved the characters, some of whom are in the first book, they are complex and have depth and makes it hard not to feel for them. The story is full of angst and heartbreak, sorrow and hurt but it is also full of wonder and love, strength and uncertainty, trust and there is also humorous banter which is much needed with this type of story and makes you laugh. He is from the wrong side of the tracks. His past continues to haunt him. He left behind the one person he loved. But he had to find himself, he had to not let his past define him. Now he is back to ensure his brothers future but by being back he is faced with so much from his past. He is the protector who will do anything for his family and the ones he loves.
Remy is the little rich girl who is so much more than her money suggests but she is ruled by an iron thumb when it comes to her parents. Even though it is her big day, she cannot help but think about the one man who stole her heart as a young girl.
The story is well written and well-paced and I highly recommend it.

Reset to One (Paranormal Talent Agency Book 2) by Heather Silvio is another wonder addition to this quirky paranormal romance story. They are unique and fun and original. They are quick reads but they pack a punch. It is a mystery and the characters intermingle from story to story. Heather has cleverly mastered this genre and has provided stories that you just don’t want to put down and always adds a little twist.
Evie has been around a long time and has trust issues but she has a soft spot for humans, especially the one who just popped into her life. When his best friend is arrested Evie decides to help catch a killer and bring to light the truth but the truth maybe just too much for him to handle.
I look forward to more great stories in this series.

Flirty Dancing : A Spicy Romantic Comedy About the Afterlife (The Green Room Chronicles Book 3) by J.D Frettier is a paranormal fantasy that is original and quirky. With plenty of tongue in cheek laugher along the way ensuring it is a magical read. It is witty and funny, and oh so entertaining, just as the first two where. J.D. has certainly written something that is a brilliant concept and made it work so so well. It is as wonderful and clever as it is endearing and the women are just hysterical and had me laughing out loud from start to finish.
Kitty is in the prime of her life with two children and a wonderful husband but all her hope and dreams are no longer a reality. She is now an official member of the Green Room, where she meets the delightful ladies, Dee, Bonnie and Linda, that show her, her new way of life and the fun begins.
This is a fun and quirky look at the afterlife and one brilliant series.

Pandora’s Price (Hart & Cole Book 3) by Sacha T. Y. Fortuné is an explosive continuation of the story so far. So be warned read the books in order. Everything is out on the table all the secrets and lies have come to a head and show that we are all caught up in our own thoughts of what happened that we sometimes need to take a step back and re-evaluate all that we have done and seen. When tragedy strikes the vultures come out and nothing and I mean nothing is off limits when you are in the spot light. But it takes a tragedy to show just what you have sometimes and what you will do to keep it. Privacy is no longer your own and all your dirty underwear is hanging on the line for all to see. I thought this was the end of the series but I was happily surprised to see that there is more.

Gamble on a Cowboy by Melissa Keir and D’Ann Lindun are two stories that are western romances that tugged at my heartstrings. A Vegas Cowboy by Melissa Keir and Vegas, Baby, Vegas by D’Ann Lindun had me hooked and loved the journey between the characters that was both sweet and sexy and the telling of their stories is well done.
A Vegas Cowboy – Daisy has been barely living from a tragedy that stole the loves of his life but when a chance encounter at an airport spikes his interest, he starts to wonder if maybe there could be more. Waking up the next morning he gets more than he bargained for.

Taming the Troublemaker (Hills of Texas Series book 3) by Kadie Scott is a sweet small town romance story. The characters are wonderful and they all crossover in each of the others stories. Kadie’s romances are well written and are sweet addictions with feisty, flirty banter and a little drama, plenty of chemistry and love, fun and lots of humour. Autry Hill is a bit of a player but he’s sick of that life and reputation. He is finally given a chance to get what he wants and is determined to prove he can do. However, he didn’t count on one feisty woman coming into his life. Beth Cooper has always been the good girl, the one nobody looks twice at but she has always had a crush on the one person who could crush her heart and now one small boy just may be the one to bring them together. The events in this book had me laughing and it is another great addition to the series. I can’t wait for the next book.

Don’t Let Me (Simplicit Duet Book 1) by Marie Skye was an intriguing and sizzling read. There were things I loved and things I hated and it was as frustrating as it was addicting. AND OMG the ending, well let’s just say I went, NO she did not!, you can’t be serious. It just puts everything I had read in doubt. It is a story of a love triangle that is so sizzling you will need a cold shower. I both loved and hated the main characters but they were well written and the story and mystery kept the pages turning. Marie has well in the weaving of the plot and where everyone stands or at least where everyone you though stands. There are secrets and lies, betrayal and hurt but there is also so much love. But come to the end and all bets are off and like I said earlier, NO she did not!, that came from so far out left field there is no more left.
Olivia is drawn into a relationship with one man who is in games with another man but she doesn’t know and falls in love with them both. When her past learns she is still alive things take a dramatic turn.
Damien and Jaxon are best friends and have always played the game but now the stakes are so much higher and one of them will get burned.
This is a must read, now I have to sulk until the next installment.

Terror in Boring Town (A Sam and Rex Adventure Book 1) by Hoot N is a great children’s book. It is an adventure mystery story that was written with children from the ages of 9 to 12 in mind. The story is about two young boys Sam and Rex who are on summer vacation and one who looks for everything as an adventure of some sort the other not so much but when they see a strange truck in town, the boys decide to get to the bottom of what is going on. The story is fun and original and the characters were well written and relatable. Surely to be a hit.

A Wicked Earl’s Widow (Once Upon a Widow Series Book 2) by Aubrey Wynne is a historical romance story. It is told in multiple POV’s which I love as it gives you a much better understanding of who the characters are, where they come from and what made them who they are and what they are thinking. This drama filled story will keep you entertained and on your toes. There is secrets and lies, danger and intrigue, mystery and humour. The characters are all well developed and enjoyable and absolutely wonderful. Eliza lost her husband but is still being tortured by her past and by the evil man who raised her. When her daughter and herself, are threatened she is forced to flee for their safety. Along the way she encounters an old woman that is being attacked and decides to help, which leads her to find refuge in the Pendleton estate. But unfortunately danger finds her and she is once again face to face with the viciousness and evil from her past. If you like historical romances, with a bit of thrill to them then this is a book for you.

If the Shoe Fits (The Liberty Lawrence series Book 3) by Bea Stevens is just as charming as the other two books in the series. The antics and adventures of Miss Libby are delightful and fun and her thoughts just make me laugh out loud as she always finds herself in trouble without meaning to. With our lead character there is always drama and suspense, a little mystery and a whole lot of adventure that is intriguing and keeps the pages turning. Libby has always loved fashion and shoes are her downfall so when she is transferred to the fashion side of the paper, she is in her element, but as always for Libby things get off to a bad start and only gets worse and of course interesting. Overall this is a captivating and great read. Make sure you crab a copy and dig in to enjoy the adventures of Liberty Lawrence.

Knights Who Won My Heart: Knights Series Book 4 by Sonya Jesus is another great addition to and the end of the series. You have to read the books in order to fully understand the characters and their backstories and all the emotions behind them. It is an emotional read that that has you all over the place and the pages turning to find out what happens next. It has been a gripping and thrilling read that has your heart in your throat and finger nails in disrepair as we follow the journey of one monsters need.
Amelia is a young woman who is being beaten down at every corner of her life. She has lost so much and it is taking it’s toll. Her heart is broken, it has been shattered to pieces. She has been manipulated, twisted and turned and pulled in one way or another and no one is aware that it is happening. There is evil lurking amongst them and he has hurt them all but no more than Amelia.
This book is as heartbreaking as it is heartwarming and I have enjoyed this series since reading the first book.

Linked: Can Empathy Save the United Terrestrial Democracy? by Gaia B. Amman is a sci-fi dystopian romance story. I am not a fan of a lot of sci-fi stories and was not sure what to expect but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It is a unique and original story that is twisted in politics and social standings and is thought provoking. The characters are well thought out and at times they frustrated me but it also made the story more fascinating and kept the pages turning. Naira has finally become someone she despises but not by choice, but being exposed to a different way of life is taking its toll. Not only does she have to look at her own prejudices she also needs to teach others. Not until you walk in their shoes do you truly understand.

Love on the Line; Great Expectations Love Stories: (The Graykens, Book Two) by Laurie L.C. Lewis is an exquisitely amazing romance story. It is filled with lots of emotion that will not only break your heart but will also make you smile. Laurie’s storytelling is wonderful and instills you with so many emotions. I feel like I was right there with the characters as they struggle with having to deal with life and death and the effects on them and their relationships. As with the first book, this beautiful story reached into my heart and won’t be leaving me any time soon. These wonderful characters made my heart bleed for them as they fought side by side with the harrowing effects of AML. The love they had for each other, the love of their family and especially their friends was inspirational and I loved each and every one of them. The strength, hope and faith these characters have will see you crying and laughing along in this battle of life. I am glad Laure wrote this sequel as I felt there was so much more left in the story and I was right. Well done Laurie!
I highly recommend this raw and amazing story to anyone and everyone and I can guarantee you will not be disappointed and you will not be left untouched.

It is a story that will have your emotions all over the place and will have you laughing and crying. This book can be read as a standalone, as most of them can, but I would read them in order.

Back in the Ring (The Predator Series Book 4) by Brooke May is another wonderful story in this series and is a second chance romance. This beautiful story is filled with lots of emotion that will break your heart but will also make you smile. There are new beginnings for our beautiful characters as they both deal with the loss of their partners. Brooke excels at this type of writing and is able to inject so much emotion, wonder and lets not forget the added bonus of a little steam and sizzle and of course the best friend who is an absolute joy and had me laughing at her antics.
Bijou is struggling to keep the youth centre her husbands dream going and support her teenage daughter, but she doesn’t know how she will be able to keep it going unless things change.
Noah Stone is struggling with the loss of his wife and being a single father to a two year old son. His only way to start to heal was moving to a small town and on beautiful woman. But when his past catches up with him will all he has built come crashing down?

Vantage Point (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 4) by Amy McKinley is another wonderful book in the series. I know when I read something by Amy and this series I am in good hands. I have come to love the Gray Ghost alpha men and have watched them grow from troubled boys to the great men they are in adulthood. It is well written, with plenty of suspense and drama, mystery and intrigue and plenty of hotness that make the story sizzle. It is a fast paced story, that is full of secrets and lies and will have you on the end of the couch. I really love the sense of family and support these guys have and their brotherhood of protecting each other and the ones they love, no matter the cost.
In this story we come full circle when they are once again faced with their past and bad memories and all the horrors they lived through in one way or another. I suggest that you read all the books in order as these are very complex characters and the backstories show you how they became who they are today.
It is one series that should be on everyone’s TBR list.

Rewind by Rowan Shaw is a MM second chance romance and is an amazing story. It is a beautiful journey and the characters are written with depth and are so endearing. It is a very emotional story and switches between the past and the present and a coming together again after a failed relationship many years ago. Rowan’s writing paints a picture that is easily imaginable and shows raw and vulnerable feelings from being two young men just being in love. It shows the darker side of people who are homophobic and what they are capable of, which always leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. It is also a tale that has a sense of humour and witty remarks. Rowan has done a wonderful job in this story and I look forward to what may come next.
Age of Saints: Druid’s Brooch Series: #7 by Christy Nicholas is another great addition to this series. This series is a paranormal fantasy series where each story is set in different times. Age of Saints takes us further back in time to almost where it started and the magic became. It also gives us a look back on of the characters we have seen in the other books and shows them in a new light. Each story is a puzzle being put together for the big reveal. Christy’s writing always you to become one with the story and her attention to detail brings it to life. This captivating story is made more enjoyable due to the paranormal and magical elements. But it is also full of adventure and action, drama and romance.

The Woman America Loves a Latte by Holly Tierney-Bedord is certainly one quick and unusual read. It is like nothing else I have read and it is so stupidly crazy, it is good. You know like one of those cheesy movies that are so bad, they are good? It is silly, it is quirky, it is unique. Given there are so many players and there is so much going on, Holly has done well to keep it all together. It is well written, with plenty of suspense and dream, mystery and intrigue and plenty of quirkiness.
It is one story that is interesting and definitely unique in it’s telling.

His First Lady by Avery Scott is a sweet romance contemporary story that is easy to read. The story is well written and a nice easy read but it also frustrated me and I wanted to shake some of the characters. The main characters were likeable but I felt the story and the characters themselves were lacking. The premise for the story is great but I wanted more. More depth, more wonder, more intensity, just more. I did like the humour throughout which made it fun.
Michael Reese is a Presidential candidate and is happy with his life. He has been married twice & divorced and a bit of a lady’s man. When his overbearing campaign manager decides he needs to find a woman, a First Lady is when the fun begins.
Kendall Bailey is the new girl on the block, and his speech writer. She has worked for a few candidates before so she knows the drill but when she is propositioned for another position by the Presidential candidate she is blown away.

Devil’s Backbone (Wild Beasts #5) by T. Birmingham is a great story in this amazing series. It is a paranormal fantasy romance like no other and in this book the main female character is broken and scarred for life and will invoke many, many, emotions. It is a story that will make your heart ache but it will also make your heart melt. T’s writing is made of magic and her imagination knows no bound when it comes to the paranormal. There is also some folk lore woven amongst the story that makes it that more interesting and unique.
Tess is damaged and in hiding from the horrors she that were inflicted upon her by a family that should have loved her. Many years later she still hides from herself, others and especially the man she loves. Will she be strong enough when she once again comes face to face with that past?
There is mayhem and madness, suspense and action, magic and steam that will have you constantly on the edge of your seat. This series is not to be missed.

A Person Could Disappear Here by Terri George is a suspense thriller and Wow, my mind is officially blown. Never in a million years would I have predicted the ending. Wow, just Wow. So not what I expected. The storyline is like nothing I have read or imagined. It is a gripping and captivating tale that is raw and powerful and also sinister in its development. Terri has masterfully woven the threads of this tale and turned it on it’s head. It is not an easy read but there is no putting it down as you have to know, you need to know how it ends. Emotionally you will not be the same. On the edge of my seat was an understatement. Heart beating in my chest with thoughts of fight or flight in my head I continued on and once again, WOW. The things we do for love.
I am not going to talk about the plot, which is so clever, I will leave it for you to read and enjoy on your own.

The Chosen (The Orb Quest Series Book #1) by Cari Schaeffer is a wonderful magical Young Adult fantasy story. Cari has done a great job of writing a tale full of magic and adventure, danger and action. Cari has done a fantastic job of weaving this story that is so vivid and detailed that you can clearly picture it. It is captivating and unique and the characters are down to earth and relatable, if not a little quirky but endearing in their difference. There is mayhem and suspense, action and magic that you will get lost in. This is a great start to the series and is one not to be missed. I can’t wait to see where Cari takes us in the other books. I wished this one could have been longer but will have to wait for the next book. I hope it’s soon.

Yearning Young (Burning Britely #2) by Deidre Huesmann is a Young Adult coming of age story. It is a quick and easy read that is a follow on from the first book where we saw two young men grow into a friendship. Now in this story we see the two of them in a relationship. This story as with the first is one of love and self discovery, friendship and drama. It is one of coming to terms with who you are, what you are and how others will see you. We also get a look into family dynamics that are brutal and Braedens need for acceptance. If you love YA stories then you should take time to read this one.

An Appointment (Summer in New York Book 4) by Lindsay Marie Miller is about two people who are so broken and hurt by their past, that they have sworn off ever finding love again. I really enjoyed the story but I wanted to smack the main characters, for people so smart, they were sometimes so immature. When neither of them were looking, they found love and it is a soul mate love but can they actually get their act together and just be together? Emotions run really high in this story and at times it will tug on those heart strings.
Savannah is sweet and beautiful but she can’t see it after being so worn down by her jerk of an ex-husband. The one thing that has kept her sane is her son. However when she meets a handsome Dr her life changes forever.
Preston has sworn off woman for life but when a certain beauty walks into his office he can’t get her out of his mind. This one hot and sexy Dr longs to be a father but finding the one woman who will accept him for who he his and his faults has left him feeling vulnerable.

The Protector: MAC: A Cover Six Security Novel by Lisa B. Kamps is a mystery, suspense, romance story that has your heart pumping right from the very start and doesn’t let up until the final page. There is danger and intrigue, drama and mystery, twists and turns that keep you on your toes. I found myself lost in the story, where dangerous liaisons are more than they seem, secrets and cover ups could find you running for your life and scandals that will bring down those at the top, are the name of the game. As I navigated along this journey with the wonderful characters and hot and sexy alpha military men and one sassy woman, I found myself being transported right into their world along with them. The connection Mac and TR have is smoking and sizzles right across the pages.
Gordon MacGregor ‘Mac’ is a man that is used to danger, but when he sees the woman he is in knots about in an accident right before his eyes, he realizes he has never know true fear.
Tabitha Meyers ‘TR’ is a woman who is used to doing things herself. She is one sweet but feisty and sassy, strong and independent woman, but she soon finds her life being threatened. Mac and his team are the ones to keep her safe. But amongst all the turmoil and danger, is she at risk of losing her heart to this possessive man in the process.
I really enjoyed this story and I can’t wait to see what Lisa has in store for the rest of the remarkable Cover Six team.
