I was hooked from the first few pages and I didn’t out this down until it was finished. The suspense kept me turning those pages and the sexy factor kept my eyelids open.
This is just a perfect story. First off I love jungle themes. Anything can and will happen there. Secondly I liked Kinley Dunn from the get go. She is smart and quick witted. The meeting between the two characters was a great way to introduce them. It was quick and showed the domineering side of Shane. He gets what he wants! Lastly The intro of Ace and Phantom was nicely done. The author wrote then well. I see the dangerous, I see the humorous And I see the protectiveness in them.
This is a dangerous story filled with protectiveness and love from the characters. This isn’t my first book by this author. I love how she writes and brings feeling to her characters. She did a great job with the spin off and i look forward to more from this new series.

I was excited to read this one but once I started I wasn’t too excited anymore. It seemed boring, slow and too much in her head thinking. I thought “well too much isn’t going to happen in this book”.
But ladies….just hang in and keep going! This turns into an un-freaking-believable story. I ended up staying up until I had turned the last page.
I really started to like Jake and feel his plight as the story progressed. He seems like an honest to goodness guy who got burned. When he visited his Grandpa for a “talk”. That was so sweet and lovely. I liked being in his head for a while to know what he was thinking vs his actions and what he was saying to Kimberly.
The epilogue was great! Perfectly rounding the story out.
This is a first time author for me. This story turns out great. I worry that the beginning (maybe 20%) could cause people to give up on the story. The characters..I liked Jake. Kimberly was different but she grew on me. As secondary characters Grandpa Zach was a fav. Carly turned out to be a good friend/sister.

I absolutely LOVED this story. I thought it a bit predictable but that didn’t stop me from loving these two characters! They each brought heart and soul to this book. I felt each emotion right along with characters. The storyline was about lost love and the big Why. Each felt they were wronged and didn’t know why. Now six years later they have a second chance or is it the chance to say a proper goodbye…
There were secondary characters that I enjoyed immensely. They added the love, dislike and laughter to this story. We see a family and their struggle for perfection vs not fitting the required family mold. Max was a wonderful add but I also want to mention Jolynn. She is supportive to the nth degree. Who would love someone like that in their life?
I enjoyed this book and It is a sweet story filled with emotional upheaval. The writing flows and the characters are well done. I see a second will be coming about Arties brother. I look forward to reading that.

This is another amazing story from Carrie Pulkinen! She is able to pull in the sights and sounds of The Big Easy making them into a wonderfully interesting and thrilling story. It amazes me how the characters don’t seem afraid but I’m not sure I could live in the museum. I understood Blake nervousness at times. I also loved the whole Wonderland theme throughout! Very cool!
I loved getting Sydney’s story. Blake seems like the perfect guy for her and he seamlessly fits into the story. This also introduces some new characters…Claire—-GAH! We also get to see the ghost/tour crew again and see what they have been up to.
This story surprised me and gave me shivers all at the same time. I loved that! That makes me want to keep reading for the shock value plus the romance story. I look forward to more from these characters.
PS…I didn’t realize that the Macey we meet here is the same Macey from her other series til the note at the end. Great Crossover!

I like how all the books are around the main theme but each is so different that it doesn’t bother me to read book after book on the same genre. Most of these are new to me authors. They cover police, fire, EMT and even Ski Patrol! Oh the 9-1-1 operator one is ingenious as well. I don’t think I have ever read a book on ski patrol or a 9-1-1 operator before. I liked the variety and wished some of these have other books in a series or with the same characters I could pick up. These all have some drama, suspense, humor (83yo Lolly comes to mind), tears and steam.
My three favorites are: Going Down by Jody Kaye. This one is the ski patrol one and this also includes a hairless cat. It’s full of thought provoking ideas on life as well as how to stay positive and keep your wild side. Very enlightening and enjoyable!
Walk the Line by Harlow Layne. This one has twin Clark Kent looking cops that are easy to love. Gage and Claire really drew me into their story. I loved how he cared for her. But I would love to get Tate’s story. This has suspense and drama.
Beautiful Persuasion by A.K. MacBride. The reason I LOVED this one is all Thatcher! He is the secondary character but makes a huge impact. He has that protective older brother thing going on when he gets on (sister)Rae about staying out overnight. Then they noogie it out. Haha! The story is great too between Rae and Griffin but Thatcher and his bossiness/protectiveness just called out to me. I would LOVE to see his story.
Overall this is a great collection of stories. I enjoy books like this for the introduction to new authors. there are many to chose from and always some you will like.

I knew this was going to be a good new series and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s full of action and suspense and some romance as well. I got to see who was going to be on the new team. I like this new crew! Especially Caitlin and her K9’s. Not to mention all the Brits and their sexy accents.
These are not new authors to me. I enjoy each of their books Individually so writing together they are the BOMB! I also got a sneak peek of the next book and I KNEW IT! this one should be amazing as well with these two characters leading.

I wanted to read this because it’s finally Patrick’s story. But I really really disliked him at the beginning. Once he started making internal changes I changed my mind and settled in to enjoy the rest of the story. Then came the feelings of sadness and heartbreak.
I was glad to meet Brandon. He is different than other characters we have met in the series. Wei added some fun times and laughter to the story. I was glad she was added. I liked the French cuisine info and how it differed and sometimes is non existent in America. Brandon’s reaction to French food was as much fun as Patrick’s to American food.
I have loved this whole series. This one is no exception. I love seeing/reading about the love of a person. These guys have all been through the ringer and have come out on the other side. I saw the next book and I am looking forward to more from this group of friends and lovers.

This is a lovely story that revolves around pet adoption. The clinics, the people that work there and the dog that brings people together. I liked the idea of this book. The reading of it was a bit of a struggle for me. I couldn’t keep my interest in the story. The characters were nice. I liked them but didn’t love them.
The ending was nice and the evergreen thing was cool. I did like that the story swirls around pet adoption and brings awareness to the no-kill shelter

Who doesn’t love a good Cowboy story? Then add in the magic of Christmas! Sparkling Magic occurs! Below are my thoughts on each book:
A Cowboy for Christmas by Susan Fisher Davis is a wonderful to start the book. I loved this story because it was so sweet but also sad. Former Bullfighter and his best friends widow. I loved their connection but could easily see the conflict as well. This one brought out a few tears from me.
The Cowboys Christmas Hand by Leslie P Garcia was confusing to me. I struggled to make a romantic connection between the main characters. This does have a little suspense thrown in that made the story round out nicely.
Tempting the Cowboy by Melissa Keir. This one involves alcoholism and working on recovery. I usually enjoy this authors works but this one Seemed to sad for me to really get into the characters. It is filled with Hope and that’s a wonderful way to end it.
A Different Kind of Gift by Debbie Desmarteau. I loved how Nicholas was all in! He was very romantic, polite and kind And with the help of Lily he was able to get Destiny on a date. The Mom situation with Destiny was a wonderful add. Very Complex! I loved how things worked out and that her mom even became a friend and advocate for Destiny. This is one of my favorites and I would be interested in more from this author.
Saving a Cowboy by Stephanie Berget. While I enjoyed this story and the characters I felt the connection between Gina and Drew was pretty non existent. Gina seemed way to mannish and standoffish. I would have loved some sort of Femininity in her thoughts, actions or really anything. I get her aloneness and she did make giant steps forward. The family (brothers and wives) were wonderful additions. They added some fun and flair to the story.
Another favorite story is Noah’s Christmas Faith by D’Ann Lindun. It’s a lovely story between Faith and Noah. I could see and feel the romance building between them. I loved how This town is full of other characters stories. I can see them all with the random people Faith met around town even though I have not read them. The ending seemed a little rushed but that could be because I was at 99% and the couple were still in a disagreement. Maybe a little more closure would have worked or something. It was enjoyable and I would look into more from this author.
Overall this is a good collection of books. I have Even found some new authors to look Into. Enjoy!

That first kiss??? The way she described what she was feeling to what he was doing? Wowzer! That. Is. Awesome. I really enjoyed this book. He is the ultimate BadA**. He is a SEAL, strong, sexy and protective….also a bit possessive! This is my type of guy! Lizzy is a fun gal. She seems to be strong and is confident. Who else can walk into a bar/dance area alone and not be confident in their self.
I wasn’t a fan of the quick ending. I wish there was a bit more closure. Overall I liked the story. It has a nice flow to it and It was fun and sexy. Plus there is Brody ?

This is one emotional roller coaster! I mean reading the synopsis gives a bit of a clue so I was prepared for the tears. But then a few pages later….anger. Yes I was shocked then I got mad. Not at the book. One certain character….well maybe two. You will know what I’m talking about if you read this. This author played me like a violin. Sad…Irritation…disbelief then shock and anger. Well let’s end on a good note…there was happiness too. Especially when the good Doctor was holding Daisy. So cute!
It was nice to see Emeline and Thomas so heavily involved with this story. I was able to catch up with them while getting Ginger’s story. Very well done.
I always enjoy this authors books and this was no exception. I feel she really writes from the heart.

I loved the first half of the story. It moves along and has enough excitement to keep me glued to the pages. That Hope! She is Wonder Woman! When the action started in the second half of the book I was again hooked. What these people go through is crazy! I enjoyed this book and this series. It seems it might start a new direction after this one. We shall see!
It is great to see some of the characters we have come to love in previous stories. I look forward to more.

I really just couldn’t get Into this. I liked the beginning. It was snappy and easily drew me into the story. After that, things seemed to fall apart and i just couldn’t care about the characters or the story. Well I was Inretested in the murder but it seemed to veer away and too much other stuff became important. History of the town..I understand why they needed to tell about it. It got better closer to the end but I really struggled With this as a whole. I’m not sure what is wrong but I seemed to get bored and was easily distracted while reading. Just not for me.

This is a great story! This is the second book in the series. It is just as thoroughly enjoyable as the first one. The story starts off pretty basic as far as PI work goes but something changes and it becomes everyone’s nightmare. The characters are full of life and charisma. We have quite a few new characters to enjoy as well as the old favorites (Mike, Johnny and Katie). I will mention that Eric is my most favorite new character in this story and I hope we haven’t seen the last of him.
This author has gone and surprised me with this thrilling story. I love reading about Johnny and his adventures. I never know what is going to happen next and that keeps me reading. This is a great series and I can’t wait to see what sort of trouble adopts Johnny In the next book.

This is a wonderful story. It’s the continuation of Brodie and Tails. The kids they rescued also play a large part in this book and their future. This book is filled with exciting rescues and is filled with hope. There also is that one evil character.
I enjoy reading these Paranormal stories from this author. Her writing is so easy to read and blends perfectly. Her characters are full of life and a joy to meet. I look forward to the next in the series.

King – Review by Lisa Helmick
I absolutely LOVED this book! These characters are written so well I feel like I know them and could hang out with them. I really just want to join their fun family for any reason 🙂 They made me laugh, tear up and giggle a time or two. Mostly though I sit here with a BIG smile on my face while reading. That’s total enjoyment for me out of this story.
I can’t get enough of this family. These brothers! I just love when they have out and offer advice to each other. They have such great banter which shows a wonderful relationship between them.
Ashely, Jennings, Taylor and Eric….I really *felt* for these characters. What they have gone through and survived..this is one tough story because it could have easily gone another way. I enjoyed the way the author told the story to make it all believable and have he say..”Yeah that could happen” Many times I was irritated at Ashely or Eric then to turn around and be irritated at something Jennings did. Next they would crack me up and we would start all over again. Taylor was just a wonderful sister and so happy most of the time.
I love this series and this author does a wonderful job on the story. The chemistry between Jennings and Ashley is WHITE HOT! Be beware! I liked how the Christmas theme was weaved throughout this story. It was all perfect! Next please!

This is a sweet sweet story! It is filled with the kind of romance that I love. Oh don’t worry there are other things in there as well. Laughter, silliness, fun, and some cute dogs. I enjoyed how the dogs have active parts in the story. Then there is Noah. Children are gems in stories like these. Also there is the turmoil that causes Scarlett to put a six month limit on a dating someone. When Nick decides that six months isn’t enough…problems arise. Both of these main characters have something in their past that is putting a dampener on their future.
This story was told very well. It drew me in with the range of these characters. I love how the story flowed and easily kept me entertained. Scarlett is a fun female character. She is smart, witty and her own person. Nick is determined. He wants Scarlett and all her zaniness to be his. Oops there is his caveman coming out again. I loved how he acted with Scar. I could really *feel* his love for her.
This is a highly enjoyable story from a new to me author. I would love to read more from her.

Wow! At first I was leery of this story but as I delved into it I can see I clearly underestimated this read. It really pulls the emotion right out of me. Laughter, heartbreak, love of family and relief are just a few. I always was interested in Zack and how he came to be like he is portrayed in the previous books. This book told me and it really floored me. I was impressed with the angle the author took on his story. I love how he works so hard to save others from their demons. It was interesting how he viewed himself.
Becca. We met her in the last book. I really thought she was just a one time character. I mean I wondered about her and Zack but I didn’t realize their shared history. The way she transformed was awe inspiring.
This is my second favorite In the series right now. It’s a very emotional story and it was told splendidly. One minute I am rooting for Becca then the next for Zack I just kept going back and forth. I did LOVE the Irish Car Bomb night! It was a great break that everyone needed. Those Fisher boys are so funny when talking about their wives! I can’t wait to read Morgan’s story!

This is an awesome series! India Kells writes stories that draw in the reader and have you laughing and wanting to smack someone upside the head at the same time. These three books are filled with intrigue, strong alpha male characters and strong, sassy, intelligent females. The pages fly by as you the stories suck you into their world. The characters will make you love them and want to know them You will enjoy meeting these three brothers as well as their feisty women. The main storyline does run through all the books but in each book you meet another brother and it can be read as a stand alone.
I look forward to reading and finding the next three siblings and how they will join Kai, Alexsei, and Archer.

Another wonderfully written story by Manda Mellett. She had my emotions on a giant roller coaster! I love how brings these characters to life with her words! I feel with them, cry with them and laugh with them. As I’m sitting reading this my husband wants to know what is making me smile? This book! These characters! They are so enjoyable.
I hated but loved how these two came together. They had trials and tribulations but weathered it all. I LOVED how i could *feel* Pyro’s affection and love for Mel. It was just coming off the pages time fire time. That Epilogue?!?! So perfect! Mel’s role was tragic and she handled it like a champ. It’s nice to see female characters with insecurity and body issues that “real” women have.
I enjoyed getting to go to Las Vegas and meet A lot of the crew. Plus more insight into the Pueblo boys. I look forward to so many more of these. I did read up about the next book and I wonder what that Beth has done?
Also thank you to Manda Mellett for the reading order in the back! As well as the characters list in the front.

This is an awesome story! I was easily drawn in because it’s a step-brother romance. But the story and characters captivated me and kept me turning pages. There was so much tension between the two main characters. I could t get enough! I LOVE it! The dislike from Beckett and the peacekeeping from Greer are just a perfect set up!
The secondary characters…I love them! OMG the talk David just had with Beckett in his office. Puts all step dads to shame. I want David to be my step dad. Not for the money but because he is so sincere and nice and protective of theses two women. Then there is how it’s so easy to see his love for Viviene and by association Greer. I also adore the relationships each parent has with their child. Just makes me go “ooooo” when there are those scenes. Even the FB players were a fun to watch/read.
This is a first time author for me. Her character building was crazy good. While a few things bothered me I wouldn’t let it stop me from picking up this book! It’s a definite page turner and filled with so many wonderful characters. I almost can not wait to re-read!

Christensen – Review by Lisa Helmick
I am SO glad I picked this up. It is attention getting right from Start. The writing in here seems to appeal to something in Me. I love the intrigue, the bits of information given and the relationships between the characters. It all keeps me going and wanting to know who, what, when, where and why.
This is filled with a plethora of wonderful and amazing characters. Pixies, witches, faeries, goblins and demons among others. I rarely say this but I came to enjoy meeting each one of them. Their relationships are so interwoven I couldn’t wait to figure them out. Who controls who? Whom are friends/hates who? Who is stronger? Who is lying and why? I was so happy to get these answered among others throughout the book.
The story is fast paced and is intricately woven to give me some Information. But I am a puzzler so I need to figure out the unasked questions. Therefore I could hardly put this down. Because just when I figured out one thing…another would catch my interest and I’m off again. Everything was explained so well and at the perfect time. Not too much background information at any given moment.
This is a first time author for me! I am impressed with the quality of work done on this book. I think she hit ALL the marks for a story well done. I absolutely LOVED it and highly recommend to all Paranormal lovers! I look forward to more from this author but especially these characters!

This is the third story In this series. Flowers and writing have been found but music is Uriel’s story. This is full of action, suspense and some fun. I enjoyed this the more I read. It has been a bit since the last one and I forgot all about Dante and his quest. I am back up to speed with everyone and their mates as well as what Dante is planning. This is a fast moving enjoyable story filled with wit, fun and suspense. I liked getting to read Uriel’s part in all this and how he reacted to his mate. I see Raphael’s story is last and we get to read the conclusion of this four part series.

This was so much more than I thought it would be. Sky is an angel who seems to find trouble. All accidental of course. His job to collect souls is one he struggles with. We meet Caleb aka Mr. Lavender Fields. They have an unbreakable connection. That is until Caleb get his mind erased.
This story was fun and creative. I loved learning about Sky’s job and what he had to do. Calebs sister, Joan, was witty smart and a wonderful addition to the story.
I loved the insta-connection that Caleb and Sky had. I seemed to be able to feel it coming through the pages. I was hesitant to read this because of the material. I am glad I did. It was so much more. This is a well written story with lovable characters.

I can not get enough of reading and visualizing Jake and Cody “working” together. When an officer says she need volunteer DNA sample from a suspect. Jake and Cody say “no problem” and proceed to “scare” the man til he pees his pants. Then smile and say Thank you for your donation. Stuff like this are what make Jake and Cody so much fun to read. Plus all the personable time with Cody wanting bacon or huffing in agreement or laughing(pant, pant, pant) at what Jake says. Cody is a star in his own. He helps make this action adventure story.
Jake ….well Jake is the brains of the operations. He is smart on his own. I love how his brain works to figure things out. He must get that from his Marine days. Think fast and on your feet. He is not afraid and steps right up to danger. His friends are as important as his dog are to him. I love love love his dedication to Cody. I am surprised all the places he takes Cody during the book. When Cody is added to him they are an unstoppable team.
The secondary characters are all helpful in moving the story along. Roxanne, Terrell, Pez and even the agents all have light hearted moments that make this story not quite so heavy. Add in Jakes sarcasm/wit and Cody’s dogginess and it’s a perfect recipe.
I have enjoyed all of these books so far. This one is no exception. It is full of action and moves right along. The characters are fun, dangerous and interesting. It’s easy to forget daily life and just keep reading about Cody and Jake. My only wish is that these would come out on audio.
PS. Thanks for the wonderful new gear I was able to read about. As always I love the Dear Reader at the back so I can find out what is real.

Finally Terri and Jet get their story! She has been after him for soo long but has been friend zoned. He gets a wake up call and thing start looking up. The only problem is she is skittish after her attack. She isn’t sure she can handle more with him. Wish granted —but not.
This is a lovely story. I enjoyed catching up with these two as well as the rest of the crew. Seeing Terri figuring out how to move forward along with how Riley and Cam are doing is wonderful. My fav part of the whole story is Ben. I loved how she didn’t shy away from him even before he protected her. Then to help him and Jester out was so nice!
This is a tough story but it’s not my fav in the series. It seems a little drawn out and not drawn out enough. I would think she would be changed after the attack that would take time and not only a few months. Just me thinking and probably incorrectly since I have not been in those shoes.
This is my third in third in this series. I really love all these characters. Maybe Dawson and Payton could be the fourth? The stories are a little harder/edgier and easily keep my interest. Another solid story from this author.

This is a wonderful second story in this series. While this deals with a heavy subject and it was done very nicely. Each of the two MC have dealt with abuse in one form or another. As they came to terms they realized they held an affection for each other. I liked seeing these two deals with their problems and figure out how to move forward. It takes friends and the love of family and these two have both.
It was great seeing The other Lawsons and finding out how Jamie and Kira are doing. Plus we get a look at Ben and how he is dealing with his life now. I look forward to Bens story.
This is the second book by this author for me. I like how she puts the story together and deals with major issues. It’s nice that they don’t dominate the story so we can feel for these characters and enjoy them moving forward.

This is the second book in this continuing reverse harem series. As more bonds are made danger becomes stronger. Just when they think they have Claire protected..BAM! Something happens they didn’t think of. Claire is starting to feel settled but something happens to Exos and they can’t seem to find him. See what i mean? In the search for Exos we do get to find out who the other elements are that will join this group. Earth, water and air become either attached or on the verge of attachment with Claire
Another great story from this author. My only issues is that when Claire found out that Exos was missing that she didn’t immediately start searching for him? Who would do that? I get she is emotional but if he was that important she would have hopped out of bed and went looking for him. That is really my only gripe everything else is pretty good.
I normally don’t read reverse harems. I did pick this up because I like this authors other books. I am still not a fan of reverse harems but this author did a good job weaving “time” in for all the bonded males. The story is very creative and I look forward to reading the last next in the series

Foss & J.R. Thorn – Review by Lisa Helmick
I could NOT put this book down! It’s a late into the night read! This is filled with wonderful loving and crazy characters. I enjoyed how this is told from various characters as the story moves along. I loved going through all of this strangeness with Claire. Learning about the Fae life and the power and the men.
I am not a fan of reverse harem books. I have read this author before and love her work so i figured i would give it a try. (Go KU) The love portion is So HOT….beware it will burn your fingers turning those pages!! When these characters get together..the elements and emotions are flying high. Titus?!? And his fire magic in the kitchen?? I need ICE CUBES! STAT!!
The author does a great job making me look at these relationships differently. I can easily see the burning heat and raw passion from Titus and it seems that Exos is more pure. Not saying he can’t heat things up but he loves kissing her forehead and touching her…much more cuddling. I wonder what her other relationships will be like.
The book ends on a small cliffhanger…only if you read the Epilogue. If you stop after the last chapter everything ends just fine. The author is gearing up for book 2.
Overall this is much more than I thought it would be. The story is very good and interesting. The idea is novel and the characters are alpha, sexy and smart. This is a good start to a new series.

Foss & J.R. Thorn – Review by Lisa Helmick
This is the third and final installment of this series. These two characters are going to be coming back to where it all started…Natale. They have not had an easy life together and things don’t seem to be looking up. I almost feel sorry for these two. They almost seem like puppets being maneuvered by a higher power. But it’s clear to see that everyone seems to be rooting for these them to accomplish what they set out to do.
Many questions are answered as a few new one arise. They will be wishing to change the rules of a nation. But to do that they need many on their side against the Elders. I enjoyed seeing these characters again. To find out where they are in life and what is coming up. There are quite a few of secondary characters that add some fun and danger elements to the story. This is a fitting conclusion for this series. I would recommend reading the books in order to prevent the reader from having any conclusion.
