Decisions and Possibilities is book two in Kimberly Mullins Notebook Mysteries series. I did not read book 1 and I feel like it should be read first to get a better understanding of the story. With that being said, I really enjoyed this book! I liked the main character Emma and how she pushed for opportunities for women who wouldn’t have normally had them in the 1800s due to it being a mainly male society in terms of working and going to school. I enjoyed the mysteries within the book and if you like historical fiction mixed with mystery then I highly recommend this book and series! I am looking forward to my next read by Kimberly Mullins!

The Guardians Legacy by Luciana Cavallaro is the first book in the Coin of Time series. This is a well written and adventurous story that is routed in historical and modern day fiction. I thought the book was put together well. It pulls you in with quite a fast paced start while also filling out the details. It grabs your attention straight away, making sure sure you are engaged and wanting to read more. The characters were all interesting. It felt like you really get to know them and as the story progressed you become fully invested in their journey. This is still a pretty new author to me but I definitely like what I see so far. I am looking forward to the nextblok in the series.

This is an enjoyable and engaging historical romance with a twist, and the exciting storyline had me hooked from page one. I would recommend reading ‘The Cross of Ciaran Book 1’ first as this novel continues the story of archaeologist Caitlin O’Connell, and fifth-century Celt Ciarán Donnelly who finds himself in the twentieth-century. Having returned to his childhood home in Ireland, it is not how he remembers it and his relationship with Caitlin is also under stress as he is still keeping a major secret from her. As Ciarán is actually the Celt that mysteriously disappeared from museum the previous year. Ciarán is keen to try and wake his brother, Aodhán up from the same centuries long sleep that Ciarán was in, and free him from the Dublin museum.
When it’s discovered that a series killer is on the loose and that Ciarán is the only one who can stop him, he desperately needs to find the Book of Carraig which holds the answer. However, he risks revealing his secret and puts his life in danger. I felt completely immersed in the storyline which flows well and the intriguing plot kept me happily turning the pages well into the night. This is a wonderfully written and heartwarming story, which is full of historical details. These and the descriptive narrative bring both the characters, the setting and the eras to life.

Engaño (The DeWitt Agency Adventures Book 2) by Lance Charnes. I LOVED this book. Its a fast paced, page turning read. Its the story of Carson who is an ex cop who is paying off a debt her father owes so when she is asked to find the daughter of a Russian cabinet member she really doesn’t have a choice. When she starts nosing around into the lives of the rich things start to implode all around her. She is in the midst of killers, cheaters and liars and she’s not sure she’s going to make it out in one piece. The chase leads her to Spain where she finds the girl running around all over posting everything on social media. Once she finds her she thinks she can just put her on a plane and send her back but when people start trying to kill them she decides she better hang on to her a little while longer. Carson is a tough, hard hitting, sexy, lady that knows how to take care of herself. I can’t wait to read the next book!

Born to Fight (Can’t Resist You Book 1) by Brittany Anne. This is a great book and I can’t wait to read the next one. It can be read as a standalone but like I said I’m looking forward to the next one! Its the story of Hunter Kane during a time when the United States has fallen and is now under control of the UNR. The UNR controls everything and what they say goes. Hunter is a resistance fighter is set to be killed for his fighting a stranger saves him. Hunter has lived his life without relationships with women because he just hasn’t had time but this woman causes those feelings to come out. She wants to be honest with him but she doesn’t want to get sent back to her old life. Hunter decides he wants to do anything he can to help her but could her lies get them both killed? This was quite the thrilling crime read from Valerie Davisson. Something I have come to expect and love about the Logan McKenna Mystery Books. Whisper Creek is the seventh book in the series, but I would think you would be okay if you didn’t read the previous stories however, these do get better and better as they go and build on character development and storylines so I would personally recommend that you start from the beginning to get the most out of your reading experience. In this one we find Logan smack dab in the middle of another mind bending mystery and murder plot that will leave you guessing right up until the end who did it and if she will be able to come out unscathed and the ones she loves as well. I look forward to seeing what will come next!

Omg I loved this book. Hunter, the type of man that every woman dreams of. Rain, a strong willed woman who’s more brave than everyone in the whole story. I understand why Rain lied in a good portion of the book. I mean if you escaped something that horrendous and knew that the person was out looking for you always, wouldn’t you lie to protect yourself? The energy between Hunter and Rain as they fight against a common enemy 😍. Although the book was pretty predictable it was charming and an easy read. I cannot want to read more of the Resistance. I hope to learn more background information on some of the leaders and how the UNR even formed. I also hope Sawyer gets to have his happily ever after as well. I hope to learn more about Kayla. She’s definitely an underrated character and I think there is more to her than what this story brushed upon. Brittany you have a fan for life!

This story jumps you right into the middle of all the action. Lauren is an immediate suspect in her boss’s death, and must find a way to prove her innocence. A very well written mystery-thriller, as there is no indication until the very end of this “who done it”. I usually am able to follow the lead through the story and have an idea of what to expect at the end, but not in the case of the Silent Gavel. A very good read and highly recommend!

Holy hotness! This just might be the best book in the series (so far)!!! Mind you, after reading the previous books in the series, it was a given that I would be snatching up a copy of this book as soon as it released. I was so excited to see it hit my Kindle that I put aside what I was reading and dove right in. I lost myself in the story, in a great way, and didn’t emerge from between the covers until I had devoured every word. Tenacious is the sixth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series by Via Mari. It’s a sublime romantic suspense with action, adventure, danger, sex traffickers, hidden agendas, drama, mystery, chemistry, sizzle, sexy bodyguards, intrigue, and romance. As with the rest of the series, this book could be read as a standalone, as each book in the series focuses on a different couple- but, having said that, I really recommend reading the previous books before embarking on this ‘adventure’ as the other 5 books are fantastic stories in their own right/s- and you’ll get to meet the recurring characters (who you will want to know more about), as well discovering the intriguing bridging secondary story that is being revealed as the series evolves with each new instalment. Here we join Nick and Allie for their story, picking up one month after they met in ‘Elusive’ (Book #5). Nick hasn’t been able to get Allie out of his head. But he is certain that the danger hasn’t passed- she will definitely need to be protected until the threat can be completely eliminated. But that doesn’t necessarily mean she will fall at his feet. Chemistry sizzles and sparks fly!!! I loved Nick and Allie- and I also loved getting answers in the trafficking story that has been running through the series! So well woven- Via Mari is known for her superb romantic suspense stories and this book showcases that brilliance. Again, she easily builds the tension and suspense to an all-time high, then throws in a massive amount of combustible chemistry- all the while balancing the intensity with lighter touching moments and heartaching emotion. Another unputdownable read from this talented author!

Kingdom of Embers is the first enthralling book in the Kingdom Journals by Tricia Copeland. It is a wonderful YA paranormal fantasy- full of magic, vampires, witches, mystery, suspense, danger, drama, suspense, adventure, romance, and destiny. This book is so wonderfully descriptive and vividly detailed, bringing every scene to life before my eyes. The imagery is superb. The story is enchanting! As I have discovered previously, Ms. Copeland is a talented author who never fails to deliver a complex and captivating story. I am enjoying this series and can’t wait to see where we go from here!

Death Under Palm Trees is the fourth book in the Jack and Frances Mystery series by Carmen Radtke. As with the previous book/s, the story is a cleverly woven whodunnit- an historical murder mystery set in 1931, full of danger, witty banter, lavish details and descriptions, theft, murder and more… We once more follow Jack and Frances- along with Uncle Sal, and Aunt Mildred on their latest ‘adventure’- exploring the glamourous settings with wonderfully charming details, really brings this story to life. I could see this making a wonderful television series- along the lines of Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries. Another fun read.

Fool Me Twice by Gledè Browne Kabongo. It is a thrilling story- full of mystery, danger, drama, crime and investigation, suspense, chills, a creepy factor, and gripping developments that will have you on the edge of your seat. As I have come to expect from Ms. Browne Kabongo’s work, it was quite intriguing and grabbed my attention from the very first page and wouldn’t let me put it down until I had read every last word and knew how everything played out in the end. This story has ties to the Fearless series- as Shelby Cooper is Abbie Cooper’s mother- whom we follow in the Fearless series. OMG Ms. Browne Kabongo really tests her characters and puts them through the wringer, and this story is no different. I don’t want to spoil it for you by giving too much away, suffice to say- strap yourself in for one heck of a thrilling ride! I am definitely looking forward to more thrills from Ms. Browne Kabongo!

Engaño is the second book in the DeWitt Agency Adventures by Lance Charnes. This is a story full of action, crime and investigation, mystery, suspense, danger, intrigue, drama, mafia, tension, and more. An intriguing and entertaining story, although I did find it a little ‘wordy’ in parts, with some ‘info dumps’, which distracted a little from the storyline. Because of this I did find it a little difficult to ‘get into’ the story to begin with- but once I worked my way around the wordiness, the pace picked up, and the story felt smoother and flowed better. I am curious to see what the next book has in store for us…..

Wild Desire is the first book in The Protectors series by Toya Richardson. As I started further into this fantastic series, it has been great to go back and ‘see’ where everything began. This is a superb paranormal romance, with shifters, fated mates, drama, danger, suspense, trauma, fear, action, agendas, and emotion. Mila Stubbs has had a traumatic past but is hoping her new job will be another step towards a brighter future. The only problem is that being a forest ranger means it will be placing her a little close to her past- one she would much rather forget and leave behind. She knows she might be inviting danger back into her life- but a chance meeting might turn fate in her favour. If you love a great paranormal story with action, adventure, suspense, and a wonderful romance- then you need this book in your life! I’m so glad I went back to the beginning!

The Guardian’s Legacy is the first book in the Coin of Time series by Luciana Cavallaro. This is a fantastic adventure story that really captivated me- weaving a tale of ancient Greece, mythology, time travel, action, danger, drama, intrigue, and gripping developments. Nik has no idea that his life is about to take a very dramatic and exciting turn when his grandfather reveals a huge secret. With a 3000 year-old coin with unbelievable powers at the centre of this adventure- get set for a thrilling read! As the first book in a new series, this certainly laid some exciting foundations- and that cliffhanger ending has me excitedly awaiting Book #2!

This romantic, dystopia novel reminded me a lot of a t.v. show I used to watch called “Revolution”. The world finds itself divided with evil people (the UNR) running the country, “soldiers” that become the revolution, and living to survive only. Hunter, one of the leaders of the revolution, is marching in his father’s foot, steps and trying to bring freedom back to the people. While trying to save a woman, from the UNR, he becomes badly injured. While unconscious, he is found by a lone woman, named Rain, who takes him to her bunker to care for him. Not knowing why she is taking care of this stranger, she remembers how it feels to be around another person, since it has been 2 years. Throughout their journey, they each allow the other to enhance their weakness – Hunter’s is stone emotions and Rain’s is trust. I really enjoyed the first of two books in this series. I love watching the characters grow, the struggles they overcome, and the ambition to make it all worth it. Can’t wait till I can read the second one!

Stand Your Ground A. J. Ullman ☆☆☆☆☆ This story will definitely get your heart pumping. This is a crime story with a thrilling thriller. Cady Fox has worked hard to be the best lawyer. Now with a possible partnership in her grasp, that is all she was thinking about as she headed home on her bike. A ride she has taken every night, just for the exercise. But tonight will be different, so different she could be headed to prison for murder. No spoilers from this reviewer.
A.J.Ullman wrote this highly intense crime story. I was grabbed on page one and could not put the book down. He leaves no stone unturned, and you can’t help looking around at every sound, creak or pop. I remained at the edge of my seat, while reading this story. I love Cady and Easy, their friendship with benefits is outstanding. The characters in this story will leave you wanting so much more. Well Done A.J.Ullman! Well Done! ! !

What a fantastic book! Based in the south in 1069, dealing with racial issues and romance and injustices made this book still relevant today. My favorite part was watching Noemie grown and take her life back. When she told Serena off, I was so happy for her. So well-written and beautifully done, I recommend this book to everyone.

I was looking for a horror thriller, and this tale did not disappoint, though I was hoping for nightmares. The story itself was quite interesting. Right from the prologue, it was obvious there was more than meets the eye. I loved that the evil in the story was not apparently bad to many of the characters. The idea of hiding true evil inside something so outwardly good was intriguing and made for a compelling story. I did feel as though the flow of the story was interrupted often by exploring happenings from the past in the middle of a current scene, especially in the earlier parts of the story. Often times I totally forgot what was happening in the moment because the story went on a tangent, often making me wonder if I missed something that led the story to that route. The first about 25% was mostly setting up the story, and after that it really became intriguing. I loved the use of mal de ojo in the story. Growing up having my mother telling me to be wary of mal de ojo really made that hit home. I also enjoyed the use of religion in the tale. Since religion is something most people have experience with and so easily deals with the supernatural, it makes the story much more personal. The tale was twisted and interesting, so even though I slept soundly, I would recommend to anyone looking for a horror thriller!

Flockton did it again with this combination of romance and small town charm. Bringing life and a wonderful story to characters, new and old, Flockton provides another love story girls daydream about. The carryover in characters and storyline from the first book from the Bunya Junction series is well done and well worth the read. Again, I can’t wait for additional books in the series to be released.

Wow! This was a amazing start to a new series for me to read and enjoy. Needless to say, I was quite impressed and enjoyed this book in more ways than one The book brings mystery, with some history and a whole lot of action, and lots of questions on my end. Highly enjoyed reading this book!
First off I loved how the author opened the book, there was a action scene then we cut to high school. We learn of our main character in this novel, named Nik. He seemed to be a good soul and he certainly grew in many ways as a character! Very likeable and the book was an easy read. I enjoyed the mystery self that Nik get’s landed in his lap. Who knew a odd message from your grandfather could set along a strange course of events, and undeniable maybe even put your life and all that you know at stake?
Nik’s grandad had a past and what was believed to be a myth. All over this mysterious coin. Was the coin more than it appeared, and what was so important of it? I had many questions as I read through, and when the book talked of past events I was literally nose in my book. Big ole history biff here and the visuals were outstanding to say the least. I loved the mystery surrounding the novel, and I enjoyed that by the end I had more questions than answers. Oh boy, that ending though, I need my hands on the next installment. I need to know more and what happens! The mystery and character development and story line was amazing in all aspects, I was hooked, and truly sucked into reading this rare gem!
Just seriously, holy cow! This book had a lot of stuff going on, and it was so easy to follow, from start to the suspenseful ending that shall carry to the next installment in this series. The book truly delivered in more ways than one, and it is a really good book, and I am glad I came across this author, as I now desperately need to read more of their works. Honestly amazing read, seriously read this book!

This novel, for me is a undeniable good time to read for sure! I found the story started off well, and there was good character development, and you got a good opening feel. I found the suspense and intrigue was very well done and the author knew exactly where to add those moments in, and most importantly the author knew how to keep the reader interested rather than just giving all big points at once.
I found the book very realistic. Cady was a very strong character. I feel what she had gone through in the novel could well happen to any of us. You live your life, you get attacked, and then in a moment to prevent harm, your very world could shatter. Cady was a lawyer so she knew the justice system well, but when its her on the side being the person accused, the tables had turned for her. I found she was strong with confidence, but she also had fear of the unknown of what may come of her. I found her personality and how she was written to be not only admirable, but also very much realistic.
The suspense was strong and real. Would she be accused and set free or accused and sentenced? I found the beginning was a slow burn build, but it goes in steps like an apartment building. You at floor 5 now, oh now your floor 10, all the way to the pent house. I enjoyed the build up to the ending of the novel. The book was realistic, and full of suspense and intrigue, and I highly enjoyed it!
The book dealt with a scenario that could be real life, to well anyone, even some of the best law firm affiliates you cant think of really. The author played on their words well and built a very suspenseful book, it kept me guessing at points, and I say it was a read that was enjoyable, and real in more ways than one! I would for sure say, its a must read and I recommend this, its a book that is truthful and real.

I really loved this concept of the book series, I had not read the previous but I most certainly will be going back to get what happened previously with the kingdom at stake! It was fascinating to read in more than ne way, there was intrigue, mystery, romance, how could I not be swept away in this novel?
I enjoyed the take on this story and the two main characters who get matched together basically for the royal adventure they partake in, were more than grand in one way! Sasha and Arnaud were two quite different souls at times, but needed one another more than one way, and, basically in more than one way meets the eye. I loved their chemistry and how their personalities matched! I felt for Arnaud in truth, I can relate in a different way, to being abandoned, and well in his case never knowing till know he was actually of royal blood. It would be a lot to take in! Sasha was wonderfully written as well, she has a health issue that was more complex than I thought at my first glance.
Together they must unravel a mystery than brings more than just a good future, if you will agree. Sometimes life brings people together for a different purpose at the time, but in the end, the true purpose can be revealed at the conclusion. Arnaud was at risk of losing his home, his kingdom. He needed help. And then we have Sasha, she needed a thing or person tp help her unravel the mystery. Winner winner chicken dinner! They needed each other to get what each wanted and to share in the same end result! Honestly this was an amazing team and I enjoyed reading till the very end. The pace was quick and easy to follow, I was very lost in the mystery of the key that could save the kingdom. As I said starting out result for the two of them joining together, may have an unexpected ending for both their hearts.
The writing was very well done. I enjoyed the mystery and the feelings of intrigue I received as I read though this wonderful novel. I was immersed greatly, and felt I was along the journey of the adventure at times with Arnaud and Sasha. I had a lot of fun reading this, and I will defiantly be reading the book(s) prior and most certainly future installments. Wonderful series, impressed me, and I highly recommend!
I truly enjoyed the storyline that went with this book. I will admit though I skipped through alot because it would veer off quite often and there were many pages of this book I didn’t feel like I needed for the actual story.
It was a very current book, mentioning many things that caught me off guard because these things are recent or going on now in this world and I liked that.
I loved the characters, I got a good grasp of all of them and that made me enjoy this story even more. I never knew what was going to happen next and that was proven especially through the last half of the book. It was fast moving when it was the actual story being told and I love the writing style and will definitely be coming back for more books by this author!

I can see why this book has such wonderful ratings. It is quite the story and it easily drew me completely into their world. What a great concept this story began with..stealing does have consequences. The characters are developed nicely. I really *felt* for and with Rowan. I was hopeful, shocked and surprised while reading her story. She is a strong female character and I enjoyed watching her deal with her fate. Secondary characters are just a lively as Rowan. While I came to love some….others are surprisingly devious and possibly unlikable.
This is one of the reasons I enjoy YA books. The characters are highly entertaining and the world they live in is well developed. I can not wait for the next in the series!

I loved this book! Great follow-up to The Cross of Ciaran and just as adventurous. I love the twists and turns that run throughout, and the continuation of the relationship by Ciaran and Caitlin as they visit Ireland. There is a great balance of heartache, new love, and danger with some great historical flashbacks. Who knew an archaeologist’s life could be so exciting! We meet new characters, all of which have their own personality and lend a lot to the story. I am sorry to see the series end but look forward to reading more books by Ms. Matthews!

This story will truly pull at your heartstrings and play to your every emotion. This story truly shows that love discriminates against no one and when its meant to be its meant to be. Richard and Noemie fight through many parallels to be together, and the strength from their love and each other is what moves them forward in the extreme racist south of the 1960s. Noemi is a beautiful girl who is sweet and full spirited. Living with a drunken/abusive father she struggles to protect her younger brother and strives to provide them with a better life. Upon meeting Richard its instant chemistry that is physical, but deeply emotional as well. As we experience their journey to a HEA it becomes a tale that truly sticks with you. The narration of this story was completely amazing and at times it gave me goosebumps.

Jonas and Pandora are amazing together! Jonas and Pandora were made for each other! I absolutely loved learning more about Bunya Junction and getting to know more about some of the residents there. Pandora is such an interesting heroine. She sweeps into Jonas life like a hurricane and makes him realize that there’s more to life than just work and sticking to self imposed rules that were made because of past hurts. They bring out the best in each other and seeing both of their walls start to crumble was absolutely magical! This second book in the series was incredible and I really enjoyed that Ryan and Sindy’s story continued in this one here and there as well. I am so looking forward to learning more about Scott in the third book in this series! I have a feeling it’s going to be just as amazing.
