I am just in seventh heaven as this is one of my most favorite authors. I love paranormal romances and this did not disappoint. I really like the way the author is able to build a world and bring the characters to life. I really felt as though I was right in the middle of the action. There was also a great balance of drama and adventure mixed in with the romance. As I have said before this is one of my most favorite genres. I really like how there was a sort of forbidden love with a wonderous outcome. I like how everything just really fell into place and the chemistry between the characters really just added to the story. I look forward to reading much more from this author in the future.

Broken is a romance with a side of steam! Wow. Indigo is finding herself, healing herself, and making headway in love and business. Gideon is a great friend who is living with Indigo – he finds his way into her life both in business and in bed. Overcoming her past with Gideon is where Indigo finds herself while she is being threatened by someone – Gideon wants to keep her safe. The friendships, the love, the hot romance, the danger all kept me reading. I really liked the friendship aspect of this storyline – women helping each other to be strong and successful. If sexy romance is your genre, this book is for you!

This to me was the perfect romance novel… It had just the right amount of everything you want in a book, well written characters, good humor, a bit of suspense, and enough drama to keep you turning pages and wanting more. This is the first book in The Olympic Peninsula series. I enjoyed this book a lot as I live on the Olympic peninsula it is always fun to read about your own hometown. At one point in the book, they are just a half mile from my house… Definitely recommend and can’t wait to read the next book.

This is the second book in the Love on Tap series, which focuses on Sunny and Carter. This can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend going back to read the first one, it’s great.
This is another brilliant book in the series, I love it just as much as the first! Once again, this is one I knew I’d love but it still exceeded my expectations. The humour is great, and the story is well-written and the characters well-constructed. The characters feel real and are relatable as they leap off the pages and their chemistry is perfect.
Another series to add to my favourites list, I love it so much and cannot wait for the next book in the series!

This is the first in the Love on Tap series which focuses on Hollis and Cash. After reading the blurb I was already sure I’d love it, it seemed right up my street and humorous as a bonus. It was so much better than I expected!
The story was well-constructed and fun – the pranks and love/hate relationship were entertaining and made their chemistry leap off the pages. The characters were well-written and felt believable, I could almost see them as real friends.
Hollis was the sunshine and Cash the grumps, but together they’re perfection. Honestly, their chemistry and personalities complimented each other so well, I could rave about the pair all day.
This was a brilliant start to the series and will certainly leave you wanting more, as it has done with me.
I look forward to discovering more from this author!

I really love this series, it has everything you could want in a romance book. Even though it’s a prequel it’s missing nothing. It has everything you could hope and want. Somehow this author makes the series better and better with each book. Read it today you won’t be disappointed!
This is my first audio book by this author which I enjoyed listening to. The narrator kept the story engaging by using different tones. They had me wanting to know what would happen next with Ali and Joe. They are great, strong, connectable, engaging characters that made the story easy to listen to. There is great chemistry and growth with these two characters. I found this an entertaining audio book, one you don’t want to miss. I look forward to listening to other stories by this author. I highly recommend this audiobook,

Oh my, I love, love, love this author and this story is no different. This is a stand alone story regarding Carter and Sunny and is part of the Love on Tap Series. Carter in the first book was the brooding brother who sneaked around the brewery and not really interacting with anyone, so reading him in this book was a great insight into him as a person. Sunny was just the most brilliant sidekick to him with her optimistic outlook on life against the grey and pessimistic world of Carter where brilliant to read.
I can also appreciate the quirky characters as in Duke, Sunny’s grandfather and Knuckles the spy were hilarious to read and brought a light hearted feel to the story. As always Miller’s antics brought a smile and overall I loved all the secondary characters which just embrace the story and make it what it is.
There are some many questions which I hope are answered in the next books, like does Miller find out who’s following him? Does Gina and Duke have a thing going on? and what’s Lynne up to at college as there has to be a story there.

Hassan is not sure what will happen but as his attraction and chemistry grows he gets involved in more than one love, he discovers two.
With the bond pulling them closer, can the pact that Elan and Arwyn made survive the relationship which is on the cards.
This is the first book I have read in this series and this author and I have to say it fascinated me. It can be read as a stand alone as the author makes sure understand the characters as Elinefae and what that entails. The book leads you into a world of pure fantasy and unlocks your imagination in ways I have never really explored.
I loved the characters of Elan and Arwyn as they had a torture start before even adding the complexity of the third male into the equation, although at times I felt the conversations forced it did not take away the overall story. Although this is not normally something I would read necessarily it did hold my interest to the end.

This is second book in the Love on Tap series. And I really enjoy these books. Even though it is part of a series it can be read as a standalone. However after reading one you will definately want to read more.The author does a great job with the characters making them relatable and also likeable. Their personalities really jump off the pages. This is the story of Sunny and Carter. This is definstely an opposite attracts story as Sunny and Carter couldn’t be more different if they tired. Sunny is a happy soul. She always looks on the brightside of life. Her personality and love of life shines through in her choice of clothing. Sunny works as a librarian and definately sounds like someone I would like to be friends with. Carter returns home after leaving his political career. Carter seems like the brooding type and when he meets Sunny she is definately not his type. However as they spend more time together their relationship starts to progress and grow and Carter soon realises that Sunny is exactly what he needs to bring some sunshine back into his life again.
This is a slow burn romance with some parts that will make you laugh at the antics they get up to. You can feel their feelings grow as the story progresses and their connection is so strong you can’t help but read to see if they actually get together. What happens with the fake relationship between Carter and Sunny starts to feel more real than either of them thought it would.

The synopsis didn’t do this book justice. There’s so much love and fight in the story. So many lessons to learn. One of my fave books of the year so far. You’ll become attached to the characters fast. You’ll feel so many emotions. Maybe even shed a tear. I highly recommend this book.

As I stand to applaud another excellent addition to this series, I just have to say that the characters this author creates are …. human. They have fears, desires, hopes, dreams, regrets, disappointment, love, laughter, and anger. And they are beautiful, funny, real. Even the supporting characters are well done.
Just as the Brooks brothers are getting over their very weird and expensive surprise inspection, Carter realizes that it is so much more than a disrespected government official exerting their power. It all was too coincidental. All the bad stuff happening to his family was because of him, because of what Carter left behind when he fled DC. One mistakenly overheard conversation, one dirty politician, one career ruined. Unfortunately the ruined career was his. Now he had to find a way to protect his family.
Sunny is more than just a librarian. She is a granddaughter trying to care for her aging grandfather. She is a best friend trying not to be jealous of the loving relationship enjoyed by Mia. Sunny is more than a girl with a huge crush on the environmental activist next door. Sunny is most of all a woman trying to find that relationship that allows her to feel safe enough to reveal her big secret. When Sunny and Carter cross paths at the library, it is like she is invisible.
Carter unknowingly involves Sunny’s conspiracy-loving grandfather into his schemes to find a way to protect his family from the powers in DC. Sunny gets roped in because her grandfather can’t make the road trip to Memphis from Asheville to get answers, dirt, leverage needed to secure Carter’s family’s safety. As part of the deal, Carter agrees to give Sunny’s love interest a push in the right direction by pretending to be interested in Sunny. It works all too well. Tender moments shared. Riotous banter had. Even a little dream-inspired conversation. Throw in a couple cantankerous goats and you have yourself one heck of fun ride. Applause restart. Fabulous book!!

Twisted Eros (Modern Mythica Book 1) by Aria Skylar – Review by Jessica Stone
This was a unexpected book to say the least. I had not planned to read this, but boy am I happy that I did. I have never read a romance where the dominant in the relationship was a woman, it took me a bit to get a feel for it but once I got to know Kay, our boss, dom, female main character, I was hooked.
The story was quite fast paced, I would love another book with some back story on a few other characters in this book, because though we only got brief glances into these supporting characters, what I saw was enticing. So here’s to hoping this author chooses to continue with more from this world. This is the first of this particular authors work that I have read but it won’t be the last, they’re attention to detail and little quirks that she gives the characters on top of this unique story keeps the reader guessing and wanting more.
It might make me a little bit of a red flag, but the crazy that is Erik; the male protagonist is what I loved about this book, I love his back and forth push and pull, his seduction, and his being seduces, the relationship with his mother and all there was to this character was scarily relatable which made this story even easier to get sucked into. All and all, a terrific unexpected story, that’s steamy, with a little backstabbing, a couple of surprises and a wholeeeee lot of relatable character content.

The Green Street Girls are Athena, Gywn, Indigo, and Charlie. They came together from all of their unfortunate circumstances. These girls have made a way for themselves though and are now successful in life.
Indi’s story is featured here. She’s met Athena’s brother, Gideon and he’s an angel in disguise. However, as things progress, Indi has past traumas to master dealing with before she can go any further in her relationship with Gideon. Her gamer skills are spot on but the threats keep coming from all around. Her Girls are there to help her but Gideon’s wings are stronger.
Another great read by N.D. Jackson that I read in one sitting. I’m looking forward to more stories about these girls.

Bared is Athena’s story. Abandoned by her family at the age of 13, she’s lived a rough life. Things got better when she found her new family in the Green Street Girls though. She’s a night club owner with sites all over the world. She’s living the high life and her family would never believe where she is now. No one can find her though. Athena’s managed to keep her life under wraps from those in her past. Even meeting Tru pushes her to her limits but she’s immediately smitten with him. Can he get Athena out of the past and more into the present?
This was an enjoyable story to read and I read it in one setting. I’m looking forward to reading Indi’s story next.

This book is the next installment in the Darkness and Light Duology series but was written as a standalone. This book has got to be my favourite of them so far. I loved immersing myself in this world again and relearning about the characters. It took no time at all for me to be swept up by everything happening. The book was well written, exciting and a pure pleasure to read. Right from the start, this book was imaginative and refreshing to read. It is so unique compared to other fantasy books I have read and I feel like I could read this series for a long time to come. I would highly recommend this book to any fan of the genre and I cannot wait to see what else this author will produce.

This is my first book by this author which I enjoyed reading and look forward to seeing what is next for them in the future. I found this book to be well written, engaging and hard to put down. A romance story where two days, one cabin and two people who have a strong attraction. What will fate have in store for them once they are back in their real lives? Will they find themselves gravitating back to each other? I enjoyed watching the chemistry and growth with Ali and Joe. They are great, strong, connectable, engaging characters that made the story easy to read. They had me hoping they would find their HEA for sure. This is a fast paced story that is hard to put down and is entertaining to read. I enjoyed reading Ali and Joe’s story for sure. I highly recommend this book.

Bared starts out so tragically. You can feel the pain but then as it goes further you learn more about Athena. Will Tru be enough for her or is he just like everyone else who is intimidated by her? You’ll love the sexual tension and the way everything is written. A good romance story with some sports.

This is book 1 in Olympic Peninsula series. This is a sweet contemporary romance. This is quite a unique story and the author does an amazing job with the characters. You can’t help fall in love for them both as you learn their stories. Joe is a country singer who has been hiding away in a log cabin trying to recover from surgery on his voice. He’s been told he can’t talk until his voice is healed else he risks losing his singing voice for good. While he is hiding a young woman appears on the doorstep. She is drenched from the storm so he offers her shelter.
Ali is a young womnen struggling to come to terms with her brothers disappearance and maybe death. She visits the woods trying to connect with him but when the weather turns she finds herself lost and in need of shelter. When she turns up on the doorstep of Joe’s cabin she doesn’t know who he is, and when he offers her shelter she takes it. What happens when the feelings are too strong to ignore? After over a year will their connection still exist?
This is a moving, heartwarming story which has so many twists and turns you never know what to expect. The connection that was built between Ali and Joe even know he could not communicate with words made it all the more unique as he can only communicate by writing but the connection between them was very strong and felt from every interaction they had. I can’t wait to read more.

Reading this book gave me all sorts of emotions. First and foremost, at the beginning I did not like Wyatt at all. I just couldn’t get behind him and felt like this book was going to drag on because of it. However, that is not what happened. I actually read this book pretty quickly and got over my dislike for Wyatt throughout the book. He has some redeeming qualities that only Serena and his team mates can help him find and figure out. In this book Serena has a job that requires her creative thinking and always seeming to be on call to handle any bad situation that the team comes across. This sounds like a draining job to me but the way it is written makes me think that maybe in another lifetime I should do this. She deals with a lot in this book not just professional but personally as well. This is where we get to see the character growth of Wyatt in the book. He steps up and helps Serena. This book has a lot to offer the reader. It has the slow burn romance, the character growth and development, the page turning urgency, and it is a quick read that leaves you feeling good after you finish it. Reviewed by: @bbohls

We all know the girls who know everything but keep their heads down and their circle small. Girls who can answer any question before anyone else has time to process the question. Those girls are typically anti-social, quiet, and lonely. This girl, Indigo, is no different. However, the circumstances that surrounds her have her increasing her strength, courage, and bravery. I enjoyed every minute of reading Indigo’s transformation and feeling her ambition, drive, and determination. I loved the emotions and the effortless read. This book continued to have twists, adventures, danger, and challenging situations. I highly recommend this feel good read!

Planting Hope is a Contemporary Romance that is fast paced and hard to put down once you start reading. This is a story about love,loss and hope. Holly is a nurse and loved it till she witnessed a horrible accident that had her feeling like she did as a child of not belonging anywhere. Kit is a gardener who is doing a research project in which he needs a nurse. Can gardening help one heal after domestic violence? That’s what kit is trying to figure out. These two botj have hidden issues. But can he see past her wild hair and her free spirit? Will these to give Romance a chance? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author.

So original! Drew me in from the first and kept me interested. Very original storyline! The only thing I wish were different is shorter time skips. The gaps seem to include critical points of character relationship building that just appear to be there but you weren’t told how it happened. I love the characters and flow of the book all together and can’t wait for the next one!!

It’s been a while since I read book 1, but guess what I like book 2 better. Broken has so much more to offer. The author doesn’t disappoint in the 2nd installment of The Green Street Girls. I would think there will be one more book since there’s one more girl left, but we shall see. These books are a series but are very much standalone novels as well. Do you benefit from reading both, absolutely, but it’s not required. These girls fought from the trenches to where they are today. This book specifically focuses on Indigo. And Indigo is in the exact state as the title Broken. She’s been abused in ways that could trigger some, so read with caution. Never in a million years did she think the one that could set her on the path to being mended is right under her nose. Enter Gideon, he best friend’s baby brother, who just happens to be living on her property. We he’s tasked to protect from threats on her life, things change and evolve. How does Indigo respond to how she feels for Gideon? The author wrote the perfect man in Gideon. Sweet, friendly, protective, caring all the things women dream of. But the justice the author did Indigo is leaps and bounds ahead of that. The growth and mending the dhe experienced throughout was written beautifully. This book had me wanting more. Though I figured part of it out early on, it was the chemistry between the two characters that kept me intrigued. A wonderful series that exudes “girl power.” If you’re looking for a book or series with strong female characters, these books are for you!
