Dr Frank was the best in his field of plastic surgery. With his past in mind, he takes on a challenge of running the burn trauma unit in a hospital he takes it on. He meets Barbara after a night out with colleagues and is taken with her. Barbara is looking to have a normal and pain free life. She asks Dr Frank for help and he brushes her immediately off. He regrets his course behavior and sets out to make it up to her.

I absolutely love romantic comedies and this one is no different. An enemies-to-lovers romance full of funny pranks and hot steamy make out sessions. Cash and Hollis will entertain you from cover to cover. The way their “relationship” begins and progresses is so fun to watch and discover. I hope you pick this up. Emma is at it again but this time it is to save the children that have been kidnapped! With the constant support and help of her family and her boyfriend Jeremy, Emma and the Pinkerton’s are able to locate and rescue the children including the niece of a local law enforcement officer. The mystery and intrigue do not stop there by any means! Emma and Jeremy are given a vacation by an unknown source for a week at a beach house and they are very excited and enjoyed the time away from such a terrible case involving the children. Who would send them on such a lovely vacation for free and anonymously? That I will not reveal! After vacation, Jeremy continues to wrap up the work on the kidnapped children, identifying them, and getting them home to her parents and Emma is summoned by a past acquaintance to come visit as she needs the help. Emma goes to her and helps her out along with two other women and their daughters. In the end, a debt was paid off from an unlikely source, a man was put behind bars, and Emma was successful at helping the women escape their marriages and difficult lives. One of my favorite book characters is Emma. She is an extremely wise and insightful character and a total bada$$!! I love how the books by Mullins has strong female leads and a bit of history weaved in for a great read full of adventure, mystery, and a dash of romance. The setting in historical Chicago is wonderful as the scenes of traveling always take me away as I ride along whether by train, horse and buggy, or just riding a bike. I cannot recommend this book more highly. In fact, read the entire line of books by Mullins that have Emma as the heroine! You will not be disappointed!
5 Stars Notebook Mysteries ~ Suspicions (Notebook Mysteries Book 5) by Kimberly Mullins Notebook Mysteries ~Suspicions is the fifth book in the Notebook Mysteries Series. Im a huge fan of not only this author but this series. Notebook Mysteries is a Historical Mystery that once you start reading there’s no stopping until you finish. This author has a way of grabbing you and you feel like you are part of the story. Her attention to detail makes it so easy to actually imagine what things look like. The characters are simply wonderful and relatable plus fully developed. Emma is back at it again . This time she finds herself tangled in a case that is pretty heart breaking. Emma is very courageous and finds herself helping three families . One of them they all know fairly well and seems to have something to do with Emma’s past. I don’t want to give away t much I do highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next and if you haven’t already started the others I’d recommend reading them as well. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

I’ve read several books in this series and always enjoyed the historical mystery aspect of it. I love the suspense and drama of the plot, of course. It’s fast-paced and intriguing, but I also think that Emma as the main character is always dynamic and interesting. She’s a strong, independent woman, but her relationship with Jeremy seemed deeper in this book, which I appreciated. Highly recommend this whole series.
Dark and suspenseful paranormal romance Book 6 in the Masters of the Consulate had all aspects that I have come to expect and love from this series. With a sexy, alpha vampire and a strong, sassy female lead, the stage is set for another brilliant instalment to the series. With mystery, suspense, action, romance, magic, witches, vampires and wolves there’s something for everyone. It is worth reading the previous books, as there is a continuing storyline and it’s great to get the background of all the reoccurring characters, though this can be enjoyed as a stand-alone. Each book is getting better and better (still loving Embry- lol). Bring on book 7! Highly recommend.

Sweet Temptations, by L. M. Mountford is a trilogy of 3 small novellas: The Babysitter, The Boss’s Daughter, and Menage a Trois. In this series, the Lord of Lust focuses on Richard, a middle aged man with a beautiful wife and son, a distracting babysitter, and a seductive supervisor. Lust-filled and erotic, this book is definitely for a mature audience. Sweet Temptations features very descriptive sexual encounters, each one more intriguing and fantastical than the last. Very easy to read with a simple to follow plot, Sweet Temptations even has a plot twist that I did not anticipate. 4 out of 5 stars.

Ale’s Fair in Love and War: An Enemies-to-Lovers Romance (Love on Tap Book 1)
If you’re looking for a book that will make you laugh and sigh then I would suggest you read this book.
Cash and Hollis start off in a hate filled but funny prank war, but things change rapidly after a misunderstanding leads to them spending time together.
The way their friendship started to bloom after they started to know one another and realize where those intense feelings were heading things got pretty hot.
There are little gems like Sausage Fest, the stuffed dog and the surprise package being delivered that made me laugh.
Cash’s brothers, sister and Mom just add that extra something for me. Ms. Stewart got the family dynamic perfect. Oh and how can I forget to mention Larry!
I look forward to keeping up with this family and see how they grow and change. My money is on Miller’s story being epic.

Notebook Mysteries: Suspicions is the fifth book in the Notebook Mysteries series. It is January 1889, and we find Emma and her team back to solving mysteries. This can be enjoyed as a standalone, but I recommend picking up the earlier books first. I enjoyed delving back into the life of Emma. This time she is busy with multiple cases going on. There is also the return of someone from her past. With everything draining Emma and Jeremy’s energy, they must battle the challenges. I enjoyed this series and enjoyed this newest addition to the series. If you enjoy mystery and historical fiction with a strong female lead, this is a great series to grab. I look forward to picking up more from this author in the near future.
Book 5 of this series was yet another impeccable piece by this talented author. If you are a fan of this series like me, you will thoroughly enjoy this addition. If you’ve never read any of these, you can easily follow along and appreciate the multiple levels of mystery and suspense.
We find Emma as strong and independent as ever at the beginning of this story. She’s ready to take action to help those who do not have a strong voice of their own, all while finding a case from her past is directly linked to the existing case.
Emma’s love, Jeremy is right by her side and raring to go to find the bad people hurting the innocent. While he’s always looking out for Emma, he is not attempting to be her knight in shining armor, as she can handle herself.
This book finds Emma facing multiple cases, heartbreaking journeys, heartless men and women who are trying to take advantage of others, tender moments with her love and a challenging interaction with an Alpha male thinking he can get the best of her.
This book did not disappoint!
I cannot wait for the next book to be released later this summer so we can see what Emma is up to yet again.
What a well written and attention grabbing book this is. As soon as I started reading it I couldn’t out it down. I loved reading about all of the characters and the strong connection they all shared. It really pulled me in to the story. I loved the fact that is was told from.multiple points of view. Every book like this should follow suit because it works so well. I thought the overall story was good although this book really was all about the characters for me. A great book.and I can’t wait for more.

This is the first book in The Club King Series. It is a steamy romance told from multiply points of view which really brings the story to life for me and makes every character come alive. Getting the story from several points of view really gives you a deeper understanding of the character and the story and gives the characters a depth that sometimes is missing. There are some dark aspects of this story which maybe a trigger for some people such as domestic abuse, sexual assault and child neglect. Brooklyn has had a traumatic past which has left her with scars both physically and mentally. Since then she is trying to rebuild her life but she feels she carries to much baggage to move forward. One a rare night out with her friend she meets 2 men who will change her life forever. Jaxon and Oliver are owners in Club 4. Never have they felt attraction to a woman as much as they have towards Brooklyn and so they set out to get her. However things aren’t that simple. The walls Brooklyn has around herself are so high that no one can get over them. However the brothers are determined to try. And when a past danger returns to Brooklyn’s life the Brothers promise to protect her from all danger. But how can you protect someone when they won’t allow you to protect them? This story is a romance which has loads of obstacles to overcome and things get more complicated as more of the brothers become aware of Brooklyn and also become attracted to her. Is this Brooklyns chance to finally get her happy ever after with maybe more that 1 man or will her past and the danger lurking in the dark finally be too much for her to overcome.

I absolutely loved this story! It was so refreshing to read a rockstar romance where the rock star is female – that it what made it such a fantastic read! I loved the characters Lily and Rhys! Lily had just about the right amount of sassiness to make her likeable and not a big headed rockstar – yes she used to getting what she wants but I think we definitely see a different side to her character as the story develops. Rhys has been hurt in the past and his idea of a new relationship with a rockstar was not on his agenda. I really enjoyed seeing these two develop as characters and also to see their relationship develop also. I really like this author and her writing style! I would definitely recommend this book and I am definitely looking forward to more to come from her in the future.

Dan Perry is a man just trying to do his best, even when it doesn’t always work out. After being put on probation for driving his rig without a license, he is forced to team up with Jake. Even though this is the last thing he wants to do, he needs to help his daughter and this is the only way he can do it. As Dan and Jake spend more time together they become closer. This book comes with many emotions, but man this author did a fantastic job of pulling it all together.
I have read the previous books in this series and was excited for this one. I was not disappointed. Once again, Emma is solving cases and putting herself in danger. Can she keep her relationship together? This, like the others, can be read by itself but I recommend reading them all. The author does a really good job in each book.
Brilliant historical mystery series continues I have loved every book in this series and book 5 is just as good. This instalment sees Emma and Jeremy back to their sleuthing ways. This story has action, mystery, suspense and lots of emotion. It was great being back amongst the Pinkertons and all the characters from past books. Jeremy and Emma’s relationship, though strong, is tested. Highly recommend this whole series.

The Challenger is a great age gap (if you consider 7 years an age gap 😉) romance. Flynn and Chavez have incredible chemistry. I’ll be honest that both characters did things that made me question my feelings about them, but in the end, they worked through the challenges and that they both grew as characters is my favorite part of the book. Both Flynn and Chavez are complex people and I enjoyed learning about them. This story has not only depth and intrigue, it has heat! Chavez’s ultimatum for the Australian tournament was almost as frustrating for me as it was for Flynn!

I just love being able to visit my “friends” in this series again. Of course, Emma is my favorite. In each book she has several mysteries to solve, but this time it seems to affect her differently. There’s a lot to this one; it is thrilling, quirky in a good way, and heart-wrenching. I can’t wait for book 6 to come out.
Flynn is a motivational speaker returning from her book tour. Little do her fans know, there is a lot she is hiding from the world. A chance encounter with a hottie at her therapists’s office changes the course of the future she was planning out. But, when the past catches up with her, will she be able to face it and be honest…or will she run…again.
Chavez left the game of tennis at the peak of his career. He is doing his best to hide the drama going on in his family. When he meets Flynn..there are sparks. When he asks her to be his new coach as he returns to tour, he believes they are laying the foundation for a solid future. But…a life built on lies is easily crumbled. As he opens up to Flynn…she can’t seem to do the same. When the fight or flight response kicks in…will they fight for their relationship? Or is letting her run away the best for both of them?
I enjoyed these characters. They are both broken in their own ways and are trying to fix themselves. However, preaching honesty is the best policy and following that rule are two very different things. Flynn is hard-headed and strong-willed….but also scared and tired of the lies that seem to be compounding. Together these two are navigating a lot…an age-gap…two broken souls…a combustible connection that can be felt coming off the pages…a stalker…(the list goes on). It kept my attention from beginning to end. A good book!

This was another fantastic books in this series. I absolutely love when Emma and Jeremy are able solve a mystery together. The first mystery was heart wrenching. It is so easy to feel the emotions with each character. Then after time Jeremy and Emma take some time alone, Emma is thrust into a past mystery with a new twist. This is another page turner that will keep you on your toes and wondering what the next page will bring.
This was a really good book! I think each book in this series just gets better and better and it’s hard for me personally to pick a favorite. I really enjoyed this book and especially enjoyed being back with all the antics of Emma and her mysteries. This can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading them in order as some events from previous books gets brought up and it’s just easier remembering the characters that way as well.

Heads up for anyone thinking of reading this book, it’s a spicy m/f/m romance novel!
I’ve been on a spicy kick lately so this book hit the spot! Joss(Jocelyn) is just a normal young girl, or so she thought, one evening after drifting off to sleep she finds herself in a very realistic dream with a boy she’s never met before but knows she’s just making him up, it’s a dream after all..
Cameron has always had visions and seen things that other people can’t, that’s why after going to bed one night and seeing a random girl in his dream he knew she had to be something special. Thinking that he’ll never see her again he goes about his life, but the next night after Cameron and joss end up in the same dream, as well as Cameron’s cousin Reed whom he’s pretty close to.
Night after night they all meet in their dreams and begin to form friendships that they never expected. But when tragedy strikes and Joss’s life is torn apart she decides to stop dreaming of the boys that make her heart flutter and move on with her life, all that can come from holding on to something that isn’t real is pain.
But Joss has never stopped thinking about Cameron and Reed, sad that life doesn’t work out like dreams do. That is until a fateful encounter on a cruise ship in Italy where Joss is Photographing a wedding , does she realize that maybe her dreams were a lot more real than she previously thought.
I enjoyed this book, I enjoyed the different personalities of all three of the main characters, their interactions were enjoyable and I’m a sucker for a HEA. Strong willed, throw you over there shoulder, tell you how it is type men, always make for a fun read, the author does a good job of balancing that out with the personalities of the other two characters. One man being more subdued, a lover, romantic, a real Yin and Yang duo, and Joss is sweet and spunky and headstrong in all the right ways.
I don’t believe that you have to read the first book for this series to have read this, I would definitely recommend looking into though, the author is wonderful and I’m sure the previous book is just as good of a read as this one.

Starting this book, I was a little worried because I haven’t read the previous 4 books in the series. But the author did a great job of sharing a little of the backstory as the new story unfolded. Emma is a strong, independent, and highly skilled agent, who has a strong moral compass leading her to the work she does. She will stop at nothing to bring bad guys to justice. With Jeremy and Cole vouching for her skills, nothing can stand in her way. There was a lot going on in this book, and I will probably go back and read the first ones to fill in any holes in my following of the story. Overall it is an interesting mystery book.
