Ava Jacobs has spent time living separately from her husband, Cole. This is the second book I’ve read by this author, and I LOVED it. It’s a steamy slow burn, but it won’t take long to read! I loved the romance between Chad and Kendall, and I wished we got a little bit more, but simply because I didn’t want the book to end. I’m not sure if it was just the app being weird, but when I was reading it on my phone it was in italics, but on my kindle it was regular formatting. However, if you’re debating on reading this book, don’t hesitate any longer! You won’t regret it!

Hate You Later is such a feel good romantic comedy! The banter between the two main characters, Georgia and Hudson, as they pretend to be their pets for an influencer challenge is so entertaining and flirtatious. This book has it all though; there’s humor, realistic, loveable characters, lots of ups and downs, and of course, pets! The inclusion of the pets is such an important part of this story and Ciara Blume does a wonderful job in seamlessly incorporating them. This was the first book I’ve read by Blume, but after reading this book, it certainly won’t be the last! I recommend this book to anyone who needs a feel-good, enemies to lovers romance.

Georgia & Hudson are both likable characters, but I wish they had more natural chemistry. I enjoyed their pets being an added element to the story. Where to even start with this book. Funny, sexy, ambitious. The amazing storyline and I could relate and loved all the dynamics. Annie, Robbie, Cat, Dalooney, Lachie, Tony, and Diaz. Quite the characters in a book. Cat and Robbie were my favorites. I can’t forget Manny either though, the IT guy. The BIG BASEBALL bat had I been drinking something it would have come spraying out of my mouth. Poor Robbie, the funniest part of the book. Santi’s story, while he wasn’t a main character I could relate working with teenage boys, and know some of the stories I have been told I can imagine cats pain. Annie I wanted to slap her so hard for her poor choice while under stress but at the same time while I’d never do it could understand why she did, we are only human. She bounced back though. Overall this is one of the best adult books I have read and the title describes it well. Very Well.

One of my favorite tropes is enemies to lovers, and this book just confirms that once again to me! I love the chemistry between them, and the plot was great as well. I love the world building the author did here, and I want to read more. The fact that it is Freemasons just really caught my attention. This was my first book to read of the series, but I could still hang with the story without feeling lost. Of course, I will go back and catch the first book.

Loved this audiobook! The narrator was on point, really making me feel like I was in the story. Will is a rich man who doesn’t know what he is missing until he meets Harper. Harper is in the same boat, except she feels like she has much more to lose, because she has Jeremy. Jeremy is Harper’s younger brother who has a brain injury making her his caretaker. Will comes into their lives and turns them upside down. But is it a good thing, or bad? This book is not just your usual romance novel, it also has speed, cars, family, loss, and so much more. Listen to this book! It is the whole package!

The Warrior is the third book in the Freemasons series by Nicole Flockton. Sienna has feelings for Jude however he is reluctant to open up to her as he has dedicated his life to looking for his sister Renee. When a sighting of Renee leads him to start looking for her in another country, Jude and his fellow ex-military friends need Sienna’s help to infiltrate the organisation that has her. This is a good read, the chemistry between the two main characters is there and you can feel the pain and panic while Sienna is undercover. It is quite fast paced which is nice and the story is intriguing. I would recommend.

I really enjoyed this story. The characters were easy to like and the enemies to lovers story was good with a unique twist. This story is definately a rom com filled with funny goings on. Our main characters at first hate each other after Georgia finds out that Hudson is part of the family that is messing up her business and threatening the animal shelter she cares so much about. Any attraction that was there goes in an instant to hate. But there is a twist in this tale. Georgia is part of an influencer challenge as her pet dog and she is paired with a cat?
As they work as a team to complete the challenges the connection between them gets stronger but neither knows who is behind their pets. What happens when the owners come out from behind their pets? Will the attraction still be there? Or will they continue to fight like cat and dog?
This is a really fun story and I loved the pet element it added extra mystery to the story as you don’t know who is behind the pets and when it is reveled you will be shocked and happily surprised.

While this is the seventh book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. I’m going to be honest, I nearly passed up this book because of the word Benies in the title. For some reason that word just grates on me. But, then I read the description of the book and decided to give it a chance. I quickly learned that I am not the ideal reader for this story. That being said, if you are a fan of rom com hijinks, this might be a good read to pick up. It’s got sweet moments, steamy moments, and a lot of pining with a satisfying HEA.

This story is an action packed romance. The story continues with our Freemasons. Jude and Sienna finally get the chance to come together after flirting in the last book. The spark has been there. Jude has been focused on finding his sister, Renee. Until she is found, he doesn’t want to get into a romance. He feels so guilty, that it is his fault. Sienna, the director of the Freemasons Homeless shelter, is dealing with her own hassles, but she is there for him. This story will grip you right from the start. This author is one of my favorite romance authors for her writing. It’s contemporary. It’s heartfelt. You can feel the emotions as they work out their relationship. The major action comes as a rescue attempt is made for Renee. The drama and adventure will leave you on the edge-of-your-seat wanting to know what’s happening. The cliffhanger is exciting. Some major characters make an appearance in this book from the previous books. The upcoming final book is on it’s way. The story of Declan and Renee will be told. I can’t wait. I have loved this series.

LOVED this book! This is my first read by this author and it was ADDICTING. As soon as I started I refused to put it down! I loved how commonplace magical folk are- and the idea of glamor to disguise their true appearance. The mcs, Sin (what a great name) and Rad (adorable with his contractions), were so much fun to read- their chemistry was off the charts and I loved their adventures. I’m a big fan of reading books with the MCs point of view and even more so when it switched between the two of them. I’m so excited I found a new author to read in a genre I love! After a serious bout of breast cancer, Linda eventually closed her business after fifteen years. She decided it was time to attempt writing again. This time, however, with nothing to distract her, she decided on tackling fiction, a contemporary, commercial romance with a dark edge.
On January 1, 2013, she sat down with her laptop and started writing the first chapter. After a few more chapters, she realized the story wasn’t near complete. Before she was aware of it, her idea of a single book turned into a trilogy, which turned into a much longer series called the MARCY SERIES. There are a total of thirteen books in the series. Most of the series were published by a small publishing house. After the publishing house closed, Linda re-edited the series, gave the novels new covers, and self-published them.
When asked about inspiration, Linda has this to say: “Nobody really inspired me to write, but I do remember my mother and father always saying ‘anything you put your mind to you can accomplish. Don’t ever let anyone tell you, you can’t do something.’ Having the support and encouragement of my family is also important.”
Linda has also published a standalone murder mystery novel entitled, Murder Among Friends, a romantic suspense novel called, The Colors of my Life, and a short story as a part of a five-story anthology with other authors called Where There’s Murder, There’s Mystery. Her story is entitled, Lies Aren’t Forever. Another Romantic suspense called The Kidnapping has also just been self-published.

This is a perfect beach read romance that’ll keep you coming back for more of the character’s antics. I love the take on being petfluencers and a feel good storyline. This story has everything you could want; a romance you pull for, characters you love to hate, and cute pets that seem to dictate their owners lives.
Georgia is the owner of Celestial Pets which specializes in clothes for all kinds of pets as well as natural foods and treats. When her world comes crashing down all at once thanks to the millionaire Holms. First they boot the pet shelter out of their current location, then the rent hike, and possibly theft. So when Georgia meets Hudson he’s not so bad until she finds out he is a Holm. Can Georgia and Hudson move past the bad blood caused by Bryce to find their happily ever after? Can Georgia manage to save everything she holds dear even if it means asking for help once in a while?
This book is all about growth, we see Georgia grow as a person and a friend. She finds that not all problems have to be solved by yourself and sometimes you need a little help from those who care about you. It was so fun to see the relationship develop and everything come to light regarding Georgia’s finances. This is an amazing book that’ll make you laugh, make you cry, and even make you want to deck someone.

This was such a cute rom-com! The main characters are doing an online Petfluencer challenge and they have been paired together, but they have no idea who the other person is, because part of the challenge is they can only communicate as the personality of their pet. While they are struggling to figure things out in the real world, their pet personalities are starting to wonder if a cat and dog can make things work. Georgia is a fantastic main character who takes no nonsense from anyone. She is tiny but fierce, the complete opposite of her sweet boxer mix Cookie. Hudson is her perfect match, a sexy Viking lookalike that gets her heart racing, despite knowing it’s his family that is creating barriers for her business to help support the animal shelter. Hudson is cat sitting Oliver, a very prissy white cat. Add in coffee witch best friend, a brilliant stepsister, and a loving brother, you have all of the hallmarks of a great romantic comedy, full of hilarious banter and misunderstandings. The characters are all fans of a podcast called Lit Lovers which is common theme throughout the book. I am so excited to see which character will be featured in the next series and I look forward to seeing Georgia, Cookie, Hudson, and Oliver in the next book!

Fighting Chance by Toni Denise is a shorter novel but packs a punch, pardon the pun, but I can’t think of a more appropriate description!
Kendall is a reporter trying to make her mark, but all her stories are shot down by her boss, and now, she has to come up with a good one, or she is out on the street without a job. She gets an inside scoop on an underground but not illegal MMA fighting circuit from her father who is a trainer in a local gym. Little does she know how this story will impact both her personal and professional life.
Chad is the MMA fighter that Kendall’s dad is training. I have read my share of MMA books, but this one is a bit different, in a good way. There is a little bit of mystery that involves the true identity of Chad. He isn’t your typical fighter, and he didn’t become a fighter for the fame it can involve. As a matter of fact, he is trying to keep his true identity a secret. So, agreeing to an interview with Kendall won’t be easy for him. The two share some intense chemistry from their very first meeting, and it only becomes stronger as the story progresses.
As I indicated earlier in my review, the book is shorter than some. However, there is a lot of exciting stuff happening within the pages. It’s told from a dual POV, so readers get an insight into the thoughts and feelings of both characters which draws you more into their story. The book also touches on bullying, so you get a good romance along with something serious that affects society. It’s a solid read that doesn’t take very long at all to finish.

Sin is a human who works as a freelancer. She does a bit of everything from stopping an art thief to rescuing a kidnapped child. She works for both humans and supernatural beings called the Hidden. After what seemed like an open shut case, she meets a man named Rad. Being able to see through glamour, Sin realizes that Rad is not human but a fire demon of some sort. She finds out from him that her art thief case isn’t so black and white like she first thought. The thief was trying to recover items that actually belonged to the Hidden.
Rad is a warden for the Hidden, but is really intrigued by Sin. He doesn’t normally start anything romantic with humans but they can’t help that the chemistry between them is strong. He introduces her to the supernatural world and realizes that he willingly put her in danger. Together the couple try to stop smuggled goods from entering the Hidden world. Let’s not forget the steamy down time they have together too.
At first, the book starts off like any other Fae book but then takes a very interesting turn. It was very intriguing and I found myself falling in love with both Sin and Rad. This book is a must!

This was a whirlwind romance with a compelling story!!! Immersive. Steamy. Action Oriented. It definitely gave me Maas-esque vibes! I really loved the world-building and the antagonization of the human realm and the Hidden realms. It created a realistic story about how bureaucratic issues make certain actions slower than they wish they could be dealt with. Rad’s and Sin’s story is a little fast in the beginning but it all makes sense when you get to the end! My favorite female characters are always the strong ones and Sin is no different! She doesn’t care if the job is tough and gritty it would look almost pleasurable to some of the things that she has dealt with in her small town in Massachusetts. She is an independent woman that doesn’t need help BUT isn’t hesitant to ask for it when it is needed. She has this amazing ability that allows her to see through glamour and see the world of the Hidden creatures as they really are. This is what spurred her curiosity about Rad and his connection to her friend. The rest is the journey you have to discover for yourself! This was my first novel by this author and I’m looking forward to delving into her other novels!!!!

When I first saw this book I knew instantly that I had to read it. While this isn’t my first read from this author I was initially worried that it wouldn’t hold up to my expectations, but boy was I wrong. Per usual the characters are perfectly developed, the plot was intriguing and flowed beautifully, and the action was amazing. The lead characters played off each other perfectly and this story was so different that I couldn’t possibly compare it to the authors previous series. So if you’re looking to start a new series make sure to run and pick this one up today.

Excellent, excellent book. I loved every part of this book, especially the female main character, Sin. Elemental Fire is the first book in the Hidden Realms series by E.G. Manetti. This checks all of the boxes for me, paranormal romance, fantasy, a strong female main character, investigations, magic, adventure, danger, and more mythical creatures (which some I ended up looking up, and goodness the author did AMAZING describing them because the google images I looked up was exactly what I envisioned when reading.). I was hooked right from the beginning, and I could not put it down, ended up reading it in one sitting. The character develop was A+++, the setting was also painted magnifically, both for the Hidden Realm and Terra. I loved the story of Sin, the way she was raised, her powers of being able to see through glamour, her career choices, her previous men choices, literally loved everything about this woman. I also, thoroughly loved Rad, and even Moreso- loved Rad and Sin together! The chemistry between the two was so intense and electrifying. There is plenty of action and danger, as well as some mystery in addition to the relationship of Rad and Sin. I CAN NOT WAIT UNTIL BOOK 2 is RELEASED! Will definitely recommend to everyone I know!

I could not put this book down! I am a sucker for a great sports romance novel and this one fit my liking to a tee! This story revolved around Kendall, who is a sports reporter on the verge of losing her job. She landed this job due to her father and his role in the sports community. Her father tells her to meet him one evening to come to an underground fight, where she meets Chad. He is just as stubborn as she is and when they meet the sparks fly. They encounter ups and downs through the story, and it is not like any other sports romance that I have read. I cannot wait to read more books by this amazingly talented author.

This book is not what I was expecting in the best way possible. I love the way it was written and the fresh take on species of the fae. The characters are very well developed and the story line just draws you in. If you are looking for a quick read this is not it. Great book I look forward to reading more from EG Manetti.

This book is the perfect rom com! Watch the fur fly as the main protagonists bicker their way to falling for each other. Their conversations were actually realistic but maintained the humor. Absolutely fun story! Plus it is a great read for any animal-lover! I am officially excited for the next book in this series!!

This was an entertaining read. The characters were greatly developed. I felt like they were relatable. So many elements woven together in this story worked perfectly together. I loved reading this book and could not put it down. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This is the second book in this amazing series and I just simply can’t get enough. The characters were once again well developed, the plot was intriguing with just a hint of mystery. The chemistry between Dominic and Gemma was sizzling and sweet at the same time. This book was full of so much and had so much mystery to it that I found myself on the edge of my seat. I will definitely be looking for more from this author.

This book is by far one of the greatest books I have read this year. The characters were very well developed, the connection between them is out of this world, and the plot just tied everything together perfectly. When I first found this book I had no idea that it was part of a series. But thankfully it can be read as a stand-alone without losing parts Of the story. However this story was so great that I am curious about what other great characters and storylines are in the previous six books, so I will be going back and reading those also. The cover of Thai book was absolutely adorable and I knew when I read the synopsis that I had to read it. So if you haven’t already picked up this book make sure you pick it up today.

I never related more to a character, than I did to Georgia. Ain’t nobody got time to deal with dead end douche bags, silly drama, and bullies who think they can come in a take what they want. Georgia is a strong, independent, kick ass character. I loved the witty banter between her and Hudson. The angst and attraction is there from the get go! I couldn’t wait to find out how the story ended. Overall, I find this to be a really fun and easy read. It was exactly what I was looking for and I look forward to the rest of the Lit Lovers Series.

You know when you see a book pop up on social media that immediately grabs your attention, so you click on it to find out more- and the blurb ticks all your boxes and then some- but it’s from an author you are unfamiliar with, but you decide that doesn’t matter because you absolutely need to read it anyway?? Well, that’s what it was like for me, stumbling over this book, and then excitedly snatching up a copy to read because the promise held in the synopsis hinted at great things. Elemental Fire is the first book in The Hidden Realms series by E.G. Manetti, who proved to be quite a skilled storyteller. I was hooked right from the beginning and ended up devouring the book in one sitting because I couldn’t, and wouldn’t, put it down. I became completely lost in the story, in the best possible way…. This is a superb paranormal romance with different realms, magic, danger, action, adventure, mystery, suspense, intrigue, tension, chemistry, sizzle, agendas, twists, surprising developments, numerous mythical beings, and so much more. Ms. Manetti has masterfully woven a complex and vividly detailed world in which to set her story. As well as crafting wonderfully unique characters with their own fully developed personalities, who helped to bring her story to life. I loved Sin and Rad- they were just to perfect, and absolutely captivating. I was invested in them and their story right from their introduction, needing to know every minute detail. Their chemistry was electrifying, steaming up the screen of my Kindle, and sizzling the edges. The sparks were flying right from the get-go, and it didn’t take long for those hot embers to spark into white hot flames. But the sizzle didn’t come at the expense of the storyline, because there was plenty of action, danger, and intrigue to make this book something you can really sink your teeth into. I have to confess that I now have a new addiction, but it’s one I am only too happy to feed. I CAN. NOT. WAIT. for Book #2 to release!!! But, in the meantime I have discovered that Ms. Manetti has quite a few other books that I can devour- so I am off to explore ‘The Twelve Systems Chronicles’ while I wait for the next instalment of this series to release. I love this series! The Hunter did not disappoint! I can’t tell you how much I love this author too! Book 2 in the Freemason Series was everything I wanted it to be. Dominic has a mission. That mission is to find out what Gemma wants and stop her from achieving it. One problem is that he wants her. More than he’d care to admit. Gemma is out to take down Lodge Drysor. Her estranged father is dead because of them, or is he? Gemma thinks she has it all figured out. That the Freemason’s are behind the sex trafficking trade. And she intends to prove it. What she doesn’t realize is Lodge Drysor is raising money to protect and stop abductions. Does she realize she’s wrong? Is her late estranged father the real monster? The author put you right where The Victor leaves off. The story she writes for Dominic and Gemma is a huge rollercoaster of challenges, misunderstandings, and obstacles. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series! Again I will say I love this author and if you like romances that have adventures between two characters that take you on a ride check these books out!
