Goddess of EverythingGoddess of Everything by Paul DeBlassie III
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Goddess of Everything by Paul DeBlassie is an emotionally charged , magical tale of a mother’s love for her son and the son’s search for basically the meaning of his life. Although some of the character’s names I could not even pronounce, it was an enjoyable read. Goddess of Everything was incredibly well written and very descriptive. There was anxiety, drama and tension as the main character navigates his way to discovering the truth that he seeks. A plethora of exciting and spine tingling moments. A clever and intriguing tale that has you guessing right up to the end. A brilliant entertainer. 4 stars.

Learning to Live: An Enemy to Lovers Ugly Cry (The Infinite Love Series Book One) by Kira Adams – Review by Tracy Wilkin

Learning to Live: An Enemy to Lovers Ugly Cry (The Infinite Love Series, Book 1)Learning to Live: An Enemy to Lovers Ugly Cry by Kira Adams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Learning to Live is book one in the Infinite Love series by Kira Adams. It is an enemy to lovers story and one that sounded intriguing and attention grabbing right from the get go. Learning this new to me author’s writing style was a rewarding experience. I love to read new and exciting authors that breathe some new life and personality into the romance genre. Kira Adams’ characters were colourful, stimulating, interesting and vulnerable. Ciera was a woman who did not realise her worth and capabilities. She learns a lot about herself and turns into a confident, self assured woman. Topher is a character that you warm up to gradually, and needs Ciera to help him realise you catch more flies with honey, so to speak. From bad boy to lovable lad, their personalities develop and they became a couple who I absolutely adored. The story was written with outstanding high quality and it is always apparent when the author puts everything into delivering a compelling and emotional read. A 5 star effort.

Hungry Business: A Short StoryHungry Business: A Short Story by Maria DeBlassie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I was very inquisitive as to what the author could write in so few pages. I wasn’t entirely sure what the story was trying to convey most of the time. Once I got the gist of the story, it wasn’t too bad. I can honestly say I have not read a book quite like this. The author did not mince words and her attention to detail was first class. While this is not a genre I particularly enjoy, I did appreciate how the author played on words and delivered the story. A different and enjoyable read. 4 stars.

Stormy’s Thunder (Satan’s Devils MC Utah #2) by Manda Mellett – Review by Tracy Wilkin

Stormy's Thunder (Satan's Devils MC Utah #2)Stormy’s Thunder by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Stormy’s Thunder is book two in the Satan’s Devils MC Utah series by Manda Mellett. Story’s story is yet another gripping and emotional story that is enthralling that I was incapable of putting it down. The dialogue was on point and the overall story was edgy and dramatic. All the things I love in a story. Manda Mellet always delivers a tale that has me totally engrossed with my heart beating wildly and a dessert dry mouth. Her characters are real, direct, imperfect, yet they have an uncanny ability to worm their way into your heart even if you don’t particularly like them in the beginning. You cannot help falling for them and their battles/hardship. Their integrity is strong and their devotion, once accepted, is liberating. I always take a little of each characters with me at the end of very story I read. With these characters, I take a lot more with me. I love these men and women. I love this series. I cannot wait for more. 5 stars.

Bound by Secrets (Deadly Isles Special Ops, #2)Bound by Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Bound by Secrets is book two in the Deadly Isles Special Ops series by Amy McKinley. This author has mastered the military romance, and stamped her unique writing style all over, making the barre being set incredibly high for other authors of this genre. The characters are always intriguing, mesmirising, strong, courageous and charismatic. And that is just the leading men!! The women are brave, compassionate, understanding, resilient and unbreakable. Brave men need these powerhouse women, and Amy McKinley provides a plethora of action and adventure and enough passion to ignite the pages. Bound by Secrets was a memorable mix of attraction, angst, aggression and apprehension. Kayla and Jaxon share a past and he wants a future. Kayla is running scared and Jaxon has his work cut out trying to prove they are meant to be. Jaxon is what every man wants to be and Kayla is an inspiration and someone to look up to. Neither are perfect, but they are perfect to escape with. A classic story of love that is both edgy and addictive. 4 stars.

Crave (Clark Family Series) by Evelyn Sola – Review by Tracy Wilkin

Crave (Clark Family Series Book 1)Crave by Evelyn Sola
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Crave is book one in the Clark Family series by Evelyn Sola. I was inquisitive from the very first moment I laid eyes on this book. Then my desire for more became insatiable the further I got into the story. The author sated my appetite for perfection with this amazing, emotional and soul deep love story. Crave had every emotion imaginable and then more. It had just more everything. This story was about captivation from the very moment Sandra and Jacob set gazes on one another. The story was about not looking for love and finding it at the most unexpected moment. It was about betrayal, family, friendship and forgiveness. Anticipation was a feeling I was very familiar with while on this journey with the Clark Family. Jacob and Sandra were from totally different worlds, yet despite their different upbringing and lives, formed such a connection, that it makes my heart so full just reliving their journey. Their love was endless and absolute. Their struggles and differences just made me fall for them more. They fought for each other. They fought with each other. They conquered their world together. I absolutely loved each characteristic of every player in the game, and cannot wait for more in this series. Evelyn Sola’s deliverance of this unforgettable love story is commendable. I applaud you, dear author, as you have given me as a reader a special gift, and it’s one I will never forget. 5 stars.

At Once (Adams Brothers, #2)At Once by Mindy McKinley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

At Once is book two in the Adams Brothers series by Mindy McKinley. This story was an enjoyable one. Gabi and Mason meet and sparks fly. Gabi is very reluctant to get back into the dating game after having her world ripped apart. Mason is not ready to settle down and is having fun just staying casual in his interludes with women. I git a real kick out of their journey. Their attraction was instant, but the development of their love story was beautiful with a slow burning intensity. I positively admired their passion and tenacity. A riveting read that I recommend. 4 stars

Never Let Me Go is book six in the Bayou Devils MC series by A. M. Myers. This story was a blissful, tear inducing, heart swelling marvel. Juliette and Sawyer pet us into their world and tell their love story with intensity, drama, and a love that will blind you in its beauty. Their story was rough at times, hard to read, but the ultimate in romance and happy ever after. I did not want the story to end. 4 stars.

Behind Blue Eyes is book one Stockholm Murders by CS Duffy. Having not sampled this authors work, I went in with a curiously open mind. I wasn’t let down. This story was quality and quantity.

Mystery and suspense is what surrounds Ellie when she finds herself in the thick of a murder investigation. I am a fan of thrillers, and Ellie and Johan provided me with everything I could wish for in a mystery. These characters have an edge that is captivating and the story captures the essence of suspense perfectly. The story moves along and a reader cannot help but be swept along for the ride. It has been a long time since I read a good shapeshifter story, and from the blurb, I had a feeling it was going to be a good one.

I cried so many tears i thought i would never be quite the same. It moved me beyond comprehension. I was unable to stop thinking about it, long after I reached the end. The characters, though complex and filled with their own insecurities, were simple in their needs. They wanted the same thing when all was said and done. The content of this story is one everyone can relate to. This is why it hit me even harder. I loved this story with everything in me. I was swept away and I definitely unraveled. Say Something is a romance written by Jennifer L. Allen. This is a moving and emotional tale of love, life and all the hardships and trial of modern life. The writing flowed and the personalities of each character was interwoven seamlessly. The author had the incredible ability of snatching my attention from beginning to end. The author wrote about real life issues and how they dealt with them, both individually and together. A well balanced romance is not unique, but one that has a reader unaware of life going by because their devotion is to this story, now that is hard to find. An amazing journey and incredibly touching. 5 stars.

Fierce Emotions (Marcy Series Book 8) by Linda Burson – Review by Tracy Wilkin

Fierce EmotionsFierce Emotions by Linda Burson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Fierce Emotions is book eight in the Marcy series by Linda Burson. The way this author has of weaving a love story is one that is hard to turn away from. Hard to make last. Hard to reach the end. Hard not to crave more. All of the characters are complex and their personalities are contrasting, yet vehemently complimentary. I disappear into this type of novel.

Marcy seems to have everything she wants amd life is going ok, then she discovers something disturbing, which is deliciously mysterious. The story unfolds, and there are more than enough moments of passion, reflection and dramatics to have a reader’s eyes rolling in ecstasy. I fantastici contribution to a wonderfully addictive series. 4 stars.

Problematic Love is book eight in the Rogue Series by Lara Ward Cosio. I have missed so.e books in this series and would recommend reading all the books before to maximise the reading pleasure this author provides. The story was still amazing even though I was slow on the uptake. The masterful way this author serenades a reader with the moving and tantalising content is enticing and addictive.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

MaddJax Boxed Series Set (Book 1 & 2) is a Second Chance Stepbrother/co-CEO Romance by Deborah Ann. I cannot recall reading this author’s work before, and was delighted at the great storyline and always dramatic twists to the story. Maddison and Jaxon were meant to be together. But with them being step siblings, things were a lot complicated. The author stretched this out with intense determination. Frustrating and baffling at times, the intrigue, drama and theatrics should be commended. They kept me riveted to the pages. I could have shaken some sense into Maddison at times, but overall she was a fun, edgy and modern classy woman suppressing her darkest desires. Jax, on the other hand, was an open book when it came to his feelings for Maddison. He was in your face, brutally honest, and sexy all in one built package.

A fantastic series that flowed easily, extravagantly and effortlessly. A must for lovers of the forbidden. 4 stars.

Impact (A Twisted Hearts Love Story book 4)Impact by Autumn Sand
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Impact is a Twisted Heart Love Story by Autumn Sand. This story pulled the heartstrings, that’s for sure. Manny grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. Done things just to survive. Hardened himself because he thought he was not deserving of happy. He was on on a path of self destruction, and it broke my heart to witness the struggle within. His love was endless. He just had to realise his self worth.

Impact left me with a heavy but elated heart. Manny’s story was moving heartache. It was also beauty. Intense beauty. So much happened. Then it ended. Was not ready to reach it, but was thrilled to capture the whole entire brilliance that was his story. 5 stars.
