Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Sunday Barnaby

Romance In Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6) By K.L. Montgomery
Five Stars

Badge Bunny is the fourth book in the Romance in Rehoboth series and the first book in this Boxed Set by K.L. Montgomery. This romantic comedy can be read as a stand alone but I highly recommend you read the whole series because all the books are just as good. This book had me hooked from the very first page, and had me staying up way past my bedtime to finish it. I love the characters. They are true to life. The witty banter made me laugh out loud.
Brynn is a strong female character, she is an ER doctor who has a predilection for men in uniform and Chris is a State Trooper who finds himself fascinated with Brynn. This book will have you laughing one moment and reaching for a tissue the next. I have to say this is my favorite book of the series so far. If you are looking for a great fall romance this is the book for you.

Wedding War: An Enemies-to-Lovers Book is the fifth book in the series and the second book in this boxed set by K.L. Montgomery. This book is full quirky situations and witty banter. It is a really fun book to read . I was hooked on the very first page and couldn’t put it down until I finished. Jason Friday and Hannah Robinson’s families have been in a feud for over twenty year. But these two must band together to beat the big box wedding store that moved into town and put pressure on each of their wedding stores. This is a great series and I would highly recommend all of the books in this series.

Stage Mom: A Single Mom Romantic Comedy is the sixth book in Romance in Rehoboth series and the third book in this boxed set by K.L. Montgomery. This is my new favorite of this series. I just couldn’t put this book down once I started reading. Larissa Emerson is a strong female character who is always fighting for her special needs daughter. Mateo Flores is trying to not screw up his first year running the Little Miss Rehoboth pageant. The clash between these two is really spectacular. I love all of the books in this series and highly recommend it to everyone who loves romance.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Richardson is a new author to me but the synopsis of the book grabbed me immediately (the beautiful cover definitely didn’t hurt either!). I found the story and characters to be beautifully developed. This was a book I truly enjoyed beginning to end and found myself not wanting it to end. Just extremely well written. Can’t wait to read more!

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Lyndsey Fairley

I cannot say this enough but this author has one heck of a gift with her writing. No matter the storyline, you are living in each and every story. Nothing is sugar coated, you get the real, the raw and the sweet that is life. Each book in this set, even the whole series, is a must have to own.

Set in Rehoboth, these stories all follow different characters from all walks of life who all eventually find their happily ever after in their own way. You’ll laugh, cry, scream, and cheer them all on. There’s a little of all of us in each of these characters, and that’s what makes this author amazing.

5-Stars

Descendants of Time and Death (The Gods’ Scion) by Winnifred Tataw was an excellent and exciting read. I loved the creativity behind the characters and the various settings. It was so easy for me to lose myself in this novel that several hours had gone by before I even realized it! I was amazed! I loved Rodrick’s character the most. He had so much on his plate already but seemed to handle more with ease. Having only read this book, I am curious to read book one now. I was not confused at all with this book despite it being second in the series. The author makes it easy for readers to get lost in without having read book one. The storyline had an excellent flow that kept me reading and it had great organization. It was easy to tell which character was speaking and when or when a complete section was on someone different. I loved this book and can’t wait to go back and read book one. Highly recommend it!

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Michelle Austin

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Romance in Rehoboth #4-6) by K.L. Montgomery was a great 5 star read. This is a great opportunity to have books 4-6 of this great series all at one time. Once you start you will be pulled right in.

Badge Bunny
Brynne is an ER doc who has sworn off men in uniform. Chris is a state patrol officer whose job brings him into the ER quite often.
The first time that Brynne meets Chris, let’s just say that Chris didn’t make a very good impression and pretty much insulted Brynne without realizing it. When Chris asks Brynne out he gets quite an earful on why she doesn’t date cops anymore. I had a lol moment with his response to her.
Brynne is very annoyed by Chris but yet she notices very much how hot he is. She can’t stop thinking about him and when they both end up at the same wedding things take an interesting twist. This was a great read, I had several LOL moments. All of the characters are so lovable and sassy.

Wedding War
This was a fun read. Jason and Hannah’s families were in the wedding business for years until a fight happened and they ended up being enemies. We jump ahead to Hannah who is worried when she finds out competition is coming to town. She realizes that she may need to ask Jason for help, even though he’s considered the enemy. Will he help Hannah?

Stage Mom
Larissa is a single mom to a special needs child and when it comes to men she has some very high walls. When she meets Mateo, there is something about him that draws her in. Will she finally find the right one for her and her daughter?

Overall this is a great set of books. Each can be read as stand alones. There are great characters in each book with stories that will pull you right in. I think my favorite was Stage Mom, Larissa was a strong woman with so much love for her daughter. If you’re looking for a great read I highly suggest this great series and set. Thank you K.L. Montgomery for more great reads.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery was a fun romantic read. I enjoyed getting multiple stories from K.L Montgomery. I loved Badge Bunny, the enemies to lovers is my favorite story plot. Brynne, like all of Montgomery’s leading ladies, is strong and sassy and a fun read. I loved her attitude and humor. The plot of Wedding Wars was fun and reminded me of a Juliet and Romeo story with its own humor and slow burn. I could not wait to get to the end and see how Jason and Hannah manage to work their way out of this mutual problem. Stage Mom had me super emotional. Larissa is a wonderful mom and I appreciate the depth of her character. I always know I am getting a wonderfully developed story when I pick up a K.L Montgomery book.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set ( Books 4-6)Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This series has become one of my favorites this year. I absolutely love small town romance but this author always keeps me on my toes. This set has books four through six. The first one is Badge Bunny, then Wedding War, and the last one is Stage Mom. They can be read as stand alones but they are better in order. These books don’t have cliffhangers so you will get the whole story in each book. I really enjoyed every story and I can’t wait to read the next book from this amazing author.

Badge Bunny

Brynne Miller loves being an emergency doctor. She loves helping people. Brynne always sees cops come and go at all hours of the night that is why she is attracted to them. She has dated quite a few cops and her friends call her the badge bunny. Brynne now has sworn off cops due to her last relationship. One night a new cop comes in and she immediately hates him. He is the typical cop that she knows but does she really? Brynne is loving her life but all of her friends are getting married. She wants the happy ending too but who is going to want a woman doctor as a wife. Brynne is told she is going to be in the wedding for her friend and she is paired up with none other than the hot cop ,Chris Everson. She has swore off cops but will this cop change her mind especially when she finds out his secret he has been hiding?

Wedding War

Jason and Hannah’s family has been in the wedding business ever since they were babies. Hannah and her family took care of the brides. Jason and his family made the grooms have great style. One day their families get into a huge fight and now they can’t stand one another. Years later they still hate one another. Hannah loves what she does. She is shocked when she finds out that a chain bridle store is coming into town. Hannah hates the idea but she has to look to her enemy for help which is Jason. She has to put their differences aside and work together. Will Hannah and Jason keep their jobs or will they both be failures?

Stage Mom

Larissa Emerson is a very strong woman. She is a single mom to a beautiful daughter that has special needs. Larissa wants the best for her daughter. She has a hard time with men in her life until she meets Mateo. Larissa feels a connection like no other. She doesn’t want to get hurt again so she puts up some walls. Will Larissa find what she has been looking for or will she be hurt yet again?

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Kayla Interdonato

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6) is A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K. L. Montgomery. The three books in this series are Badge Bunny, Wedding War, and Stage Mom, with Stage Mom being my favorite of the three. I absolutely loved this romantic comedy about a single mom and a nice guy. Larissa Emerson is a single mother to a special needs daughter. Larissa is such a strong woman who fights for her daughter to be part of a beauty pageant, this is where she meets Mateo. It is the first year that Mateo is head of the beauty pageant, but he was not prepared for Larissa. How can he say no to such a strong willed, beautiful woman. Each of the three stories in this boxed set are wonderfully written. The story lines are well thought out and heartwarming. I found myself reading a book a day because I loved reading about the characters in each story and needed to know what happened to them.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Read Between The Lines is the opening act of a new series called Freshwater by an Aussie writer Belinda Williams. I am actually surprised that I haven’t discovered Belinda earlier as I absolutely love Aussie writers and I am always on a look for new ones!
Read Between The Lines is a great opening and it gives us Kat Chalmers, the high achiever and the co-host of a leading current affairs program, and Matt Goodridge, a hard working obstetrician and her next door neighbour. They are just two of the group of high achieving women and men in beachside Sydney so I can see many more great stories coming our way. We all have our secrets and it seems that Kat and Matt need to find out how to share theirs while the chemistry between them ignites and burns out of control! Come along on the ride and you will not stay cold!

Rise (The Larussio Legacy Book 2) by Via Mari
5 out of 5 Stars

Rise is the 2nd installment in the Larussio Legacy series. I am a huge advocate of reading a series in book order, so please go back and read book 1 before picking this one. Via Mari continues with the Larussio family and what a powerful family they are. The most powerful crime family in all of Italy, Don, Giovanni Larussio is obsessed with Serena Moretti, a strong, intelligent woman who was raised to believe that the Larussio family is the source of all that is evil. As time progresses on, Gio and Serena clash and circle around each other in ways that are both heated and passionate. When Serena and her family become targets of enemies of the Larussio family, Gio will stop at nothing to keep Serena safe, and I mean nothing.
Via Marii is an incredibly talented writer. Her stories are so well written that you start the first past and the next thing you know, you are 100 pages in. You will not regret starting this series.

License to Bite: A Paranormal Romantic Comedy (New Orleans Nocturnes Book 1) by Carrie Pulkinen – Review by Jeanne Hall

License to Bite (New Orleans Nocturnes, #1)License to Bite by Carrie Pulkinen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a super fun read. Jane seems like a spoiled little rich girl until she meets a drop sexy vampire while in New Orleans. Being the adventurous woman that she is, her NOLA adventure goes a little awry and she finds herself in deep water. Waking up dead has its advantages, like the hot vampire who sired her but when you have an aversion to blood, it can become downright tedious. If you want a good, easy, fun read, then I recommend you read this book. It sweet and sexy all rolled into one. Go ahead, read it, it does bring about smiles and some giggles from time to time.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Susan Mowdy

This is the first books in the series that actually read as standalones but I loved them just as much as the first books in the series. They are connected to the characters in the previous books. You don’t need to read the prior books in the series to dive into these but they are amazing just the same!

K.L. Montgomery has a way with dealing with real world issues but spins a unique twist in these stories that keep you wanting more. She is one that will always keep you on the edge of your seat with emotions, drama, and humor.

Midnight in the House of Lang is a thrilling dystopian romance novel by Bree M. Lewandowski. This book was so captivating and had me on the edge of my seat. The author was able to describe everything so vividly I felt like I was in the midst of all the action. Set in future Vienna, this novel tells the story of Thea Lang, the emperor’s granddaughter, and Captain Irek Surov. As war breaks out in Austria, Thea and her brother flee to safety in Belarus. This is where she meets Irek. There is no hope for their future because of where they come from, but will that stop the two from falling in love? You’ll have to read this story to find out.

Romance is worth the reading. The comedy is fun too.

This is Kat Chalmers, the co-host of a popular current affairs program and an acclaimed interviewer with great skills. Then there is Matt Goodridge or should I say Dr. Matt. An obstetrician who is not only good looking, but interested in his hot neighbor. Will these two strong minded independent people take a chance? Open their hearts and let down those walls? You will not be dissapointed!

Belinda Williams is a new author for me. I fell in love with her first sentence of chapter one. This story tests your own emotions. Let’s not forget the characters Ms. William has written about. The reading is fast paced, so much so,you will not want to put it down. I have found a new author! Thank You Belinda Williams!

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Book 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series
By K.L. Montgomery
4 Stars

This series takes place in Rehoboth Beach. Each book can be read as a stand-alone. There are recurring characters throughout the series. Each book is a romantic comedy. The best thing about these books are that the characters are regular people. Some are overweight, divorced, are dealing with handicapped children and have crazy families. The characters are likeable and readers can relate to them.

Badge Bunny: The story centres around Sonnet and Drew’s wedding but is about Chris and Brynne. So much craziness happens from sharks to crazy parents, bites to baseball bats. I was crying from laughing so hard. This is definitely my favourite book.

Wedding War: A family feud has been going on for the past twenty years. Jason and Hannah try to unite against a common enemy. Espionage and hilarious events ensue but can the families put aside their differences for these two lovebirds?

Stage Mom: Larissa’s daughter has Down syndrome and decides that she wants to be in the little girls pageant. Mateo’s family has run the pageant for the last forty years and is a stickler for tradition. When he decides to make some changes, the whole town is in an uproar. With lighthearted comedy and romance, the author tackles discrimination and racism in this book. The story is definitely a winner.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set ( Books 4-6)Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The second Romance in Rehoboth box set collects books 4-6 of K.L. Montgomery’s series. It’s a really enjoyable series of entertaining and heart-warming romantic comedies, set by the beach. Each story works as a standalone, but with the small-town setting you’re always bumping into familiar characters and the box set allows you to get to know the people and places that bit better.
I read Badge Bunny a couple of years ago and loved it! Brynne and Chris both have jobs where they are often responding to emergencies which means that there’s plenty of action and tension in this book, which makes it even more of a relief when the characters get time to enjoy each other’s company.
Wedding War focuses on the threat of superstores to small family businesses – if you like You’ve Got Mail then this is right up your street! Jason and Hannah overcoming their differences to unite against a common enemy is fun to read.
Stage Mom is a particularly poignant read, with single mum Larissa willing to move mountains for her daughter. When Hailey, who has Down Syndrome, decides she wants to take part in a pageant Larissa has to fight to make the pageant inclusive.
There’s plenty of variety in these stories, and so much to enjoy! The collection gets five stars from me. With this, and the other box set that brings together the first three books in the series, you’ve got holiday (or lockdown) reading sorted!

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Karyn Taylor

Romance In Rehoboth Boxed Set:Books 4-6 contains the 3 full length novels which make up books 4-6 of the Romance In Rehoboth series by K.L. Montgomery. These books are:
Badge Bunny (book 4) – cop meets ER doc and boy do they bump heads.
Wedding War (book 5) – two rival families trying to save wedding businesses.
Stage Mom (book 6) – a single mom with a daughter meets a nice guy.
These and the first 3 books can all be read as standalones but there are connected characters that appear in several of the books but this will not prevent you from reading them as standalones. I had read book 4 long before reading any of the others and it didn’t spoil anything for me.
A feature of these books, like the 3 before them is that K.L. Montgomery does not shy away from having characters that others writer would not use. In books 5 & 6, 2 of the lead characters are from BAME and book 6 centres around a child with Downs Syndrome. I do love that K.L. Montgomery uses characters that are more realistic to everyday life and are therefore much more relatable to the reader.
Another great selling point of these books is the humour they contain. All of the books in the series are comedies and provide a great deal of humour for the reader. There are many situations throughout all of the books where the main characters get themselves into some very funny situations.
All in all, this is a really great box set and all 3 books are 5 star reads which I really recommend to other readers.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Jennifer Gordon

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6) by K.L. Montgomery
5 of 5 Stars
I absolutely loved this box set by K.L. Montgomery, it contains three more complete novels in her small town romantic comedy series. Having read the first box set of books 1-3, I was looking forward to more ‘Romance in Rehoboth’ stories and I was not disappointed. Each story has a strong but quirky heroine and a down to earth hero who loves them, your guaranteed a happy ending but only after some drama and fun along the way and each story has the background setting of the beautiful Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Book one is, Badge Bunny, State Trooper Chris Everson meets ER Doctor Brynne Miller who in the course of her job has met and dated so many cops that her friends call her, ‘badge bunny’, however the two do not have a great first impression of each other in this enemies to lovers romance. Brynne is a likeable and relatable strong female character and I love how her relationship with Chris develops after he managed to annoy her on their first meeting but neither can deny their attraction for each other.
Wedding War, is another enemies to lovers comedy romance, both Jason Friday’s family and Hannah Robinson’s run a wedding business. Jason’s makes sure the grooms of Delmarva are stylish and Hannah’s family ensures the bride’s are happy on their big day. The two families have had an undoing feud for over twenty years but when bridal superstore, Über Brides sets up in Rehoboth Beach the two rival families must work together to save their wedding businesses. However Hannah and Jason did not intend to fall in love in the process, but their chemistry sizzles off the page. Another great couple and a fun romantic story.
Book three, Stage Mom, and Larissa Emerson is a strong women and fiery with it she has had to fight for so much in her life especially to ensure that her special needs daughter is treated fairly and equally. After many disappointments with men and as a single Mum she has sworn off men but when she meets Mateo Flores she can not deny her attraction and neither can he. Mateo is running the ‘Little Miss Rehoboth pageant’, for the first year and doesn’t want to mess it up. Although he was prepared to deal with the stereotypical pageant Mums he was not prepared for Larissa who when her daughter Hailey asks to take part in the pageant goes out to fight for her daughters place. Mateo finds Larissa a force of nature and soon discovers he just can’t say no to her. This was another great story by Montgomery who is never afraid to tackle sensitive issues this time by Larissa’s daughter Hailey having Down Syndrome, but does so sensitively and with humour.
Three great stories with amazing characters and a beautiful beach setting, the storyline of all three flows easily and I was happily immersed in Rehoboth Beach’s romantic comedy stories once again whilst reading this box set.

Kat is a woman with a successful career and is a local celebrity in her hometown. She’s satisfied with her life, or so she thinks. She meets Matt in the most interesting way and life gets more interesting from there.

Matt is Super Doc and shows that to us several times. He is smart, confident, humble and vulnerable which made me fall for him. I loved that he isn’t the typical perfect, flawless book boyfriend.

My big question is how did I not know about this author before I stumbled on this book? I have no idea how that happened but now that I have found her I’m going to get caught up with everything she has released so far and I will be keeping up with this series.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6) by K.L. Montgomery

5 out of 5 stars
Romance in Rehoboth boxed set is book 4-6 written by K.L. Montgomery is awesome. This author has hit it on the mark with her Rehoboth series. I simply love the characters they are strong and don’t take any crap. The plots are awesome and funny.

Book 1: Badge Bunny – cop meets ER doc in this enemies-to-lovers tale: Brynne Miller’s job as an ER doctor means she’s always meeting cops. In fact, she’s dated so many that her friends/coworkers call her “Badge Bunny.” But she will never date Chris Everson. Nope. Not a chance. He managed to piss her off within two seconds of meeting him and first impressions are everything.
Aren’t they?
Chris Everson has a pretty sweet life: a great job as a state trooper, lots of buddies to hang out with, and he lives at the beach. What could be better? But he’s harboring a secret–a secret that doesn’t fit with his whole tough guy cop persona. He’s gone to great lengths to keep his secret from his guy.

Book 2: Wedding War – can the offspring of two rival families save their wedding businesses without falling in love? Hannah and Jason are both involved in their family wedding businesses. Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Romance in Rehoboth #1-3) by K.L. Montgomery

5 out of 5 stars

Romance in Rehoboth box set is books 1-3 written by K.L. Montgomery is an awesome read. You have great characters that have weird quirks that play well will all the characters. The plots are awesome and fun and different.

Book 1Music Man You’re never too old to fall in love with a rock star. Or chase your dreams. Jack and Claire even when I first met them in Fat Girl. Music Man is about chasing your dreams and second chances. I just simply loved it. The characters are great, and the plot was amazing and different.
Claire dares Jack to audition for Benefiting the support art foundations and he wins now so now he must leave Claire for six weeks. What could happen in six weeks?

Book 2 The Flip, Romance in Rehoboth #2 – An enemies to lovers romance with a STEM heroine and underachieving musician…. Andrew and Sonnet hated each other in high school. Always rivals for the best grades and top academic honors, there was no love lost between these two nerds after graduation.
Ten years later, they’re both named heirs to property in coastal Delaware after the passing of its owner, Penelope Vaughn, who was Andrew’s great aunt and Sonnet’s beloved next door neighbor growing up. The quaint beach cottage needs serious work before going on the market.

Book 3 Plot Twist, Romance in Rehoboth #3 – A backstage romance featuring a jaded accountant with a swoonworthy voice and a reluctant plus-size leading lady …. Meric Chandler and Lindy Larson. They both audition and are cast for parts in an upcoming musical.
Lindy Larson prefers to stay behind the scenes, but her girlfriends convince her to audition for a new local theater production. Lindy has a wonderful voice when singing, but she doesn’t have a lot of self-confidence as she sees herself as a plus size woman who has two left feet.
Meric Chandler is a neurotic, introverted accountant by day, but at night he transforms into a magnetic leading man whose voice makes all the girls swoon. He is just getting over a divorce, he has sworn off backstage romances. After all, that’s how he met his EX wife. That is until he meets Lindy. As this story progresses both Meric and Lindy both feel the electricity in the air when they are together.

I highly recommend this box set….

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6) by K.L. Montgomery
4 Stars!!!!

I just absolutely adore this book series. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a down to earth romance. I just love how
the author takes everyday people and brings them together. The books just really tend to flow one from the other. I really really recommend this series. It is the best for being sat on a beach and losing oneself to sitting at home tucked under the covers on a rainy cold night.

If I had to pick just one of the three books in this set I would pick the first well book 4 Badge Bunny. I just love how the author is able to bring the doctor and the police officer together. I could really relate to Brynne as her outlook on men and specifically certain types of guys. There as just something about Chris though that really drew you to him and you really routed for him to get the girl. I was really impressed with the way the author had a twist for Chris and that it really made him even more charming and what a girl really wants in a man type guy. I was glued to the pages to see how the relationship would play out as Brynne was really being stubborn.

I have to admit that I am really eager to read the final two books. I want to see where the author takes this series. I really like her comedy and lighthearted way in which she brings the romance. The books are all unique in their own rights and also flow with the predecessor. I have always been glued to the pages and the author really knows how to keep my attention. I really can’t shout out enough how great this series is and I will be glued to the next two books.
