Ruin: The El Diablo Chronicles by Autumn Sand is not for the faint of heart. I would give this book a five out of five stars. It kept me gripped till the end. The subject matter was really deep and the characters just ate at me. Tallie is a beautiful confident women with a secret that you are just not ready for. Raymond was a good read not what you would expect and that really made this book worth while. It does switch points of view but that really just adds to the story. I would definitely give this book a reread.

The Season Finale (Paranormal Talent Agency Book 6) by Heather Silvio was exciting and creative. The author immediately pulls the reader in from the start of page one. The book has a beautiful and eye catching cover as well. This is book six in this series and I do not recommend it be read as a standalone. Although the main focus is on Liz, Catherine is also important and her background comes from book one. There are also several supporting characters with background featured in the other books. On that note, Liz was developed well and a fun character to follow. She was passionate about her job and on figuring things out. The storyline was easy to follow and I thought the various settings were easy to visualize. I highly recommend this novel and loved it.

Siren’s Call: Cursed Seas Amy McKinley 4 out of 5 stars
I was introduced to Amy McKinley’s writing through her Gray Ghost Series and I was addicted pretty quickly. When I saw this novel, I didn’t even hesitate long enough to read the synopsis, despite knowing it wouldn’t fall into my preferred psychological thriller or romantic suspense genres. As I’ve come to expect, Siren’s Call was a fast paced story that had me hooked from beginning to end with strong, well developed characters. While I wouldn’t say this is my favorite book from this author, it still really signifies just how talented she is to have me hooked on her writing, despite the genre. Siren’s Call was a vivid break from my day to day, I highly recommend it.

Omg what a whirlwind this book was! And seeing Bella and Drake again! I cant give away much as it needs to be read yourself. But I had an idea that that may be what was happening to her but I loved the way it was revealed. And was that a little hint into what may be coming soon I read? Not an obvious hint but to me i’ve been right so far lol.
This doesn’t disappoint and I loved that Ivy got put in her place. Great read, can’t wait for more.

Unchained Memory (Interstellar Rescue Series Book 1) by Donna S. Frelick was an compelling, science fiction story that was full of mystery, steamy smut; mixed with a multilayered plot, and you got one hooking story. That had me completely engrossed from start to finish.
I can’t tell you enough how much I fell for this story. Right out the gate, with that heart wrenching prolog, you’re pulled into this unique read. This book is packed with raw emotion, that’s both dark, light and mysterious. Both MC’s are well developed and complex. Told in dual POV, we get inside both of their heads, adding to the layers of this wonderful read. It brought a new kind of tone, and it added to the overall impact of the story.
The detail and story telling was on point, the plot was simply everything I never knew I wanted. This books was vast like space, and the author did an outstanding job of pulling you in, to the what’s if, and the darkness that maybe lurking above us. Overall I can’t stress enough how good this book is, and that you need it in your life.
So please take my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval that you will get taken, get lost, and break over this one of kind read.

I am already in love with this series! In September Breeze, we meet Brian, a hometown math teacher, and Tess, a wandering songwriter who has no intention of creating roots. The magic of Cinnamon Bay (along with a little help from the town matchmaker’s!) bring these two together in an emotional story of love, heartbreak, and healing.
Brian is a widowed father of two young girls who, even several years later, are having a very difficult time dealing with their mother’s death. He is in desperate need of a live-in nanny to help with the girls, but the girls have their own ideas about who he should be looking for. Tess is looking for a temporary place to stay and a part time job while in town writing songs for a movie and can’t pass up the perfect job offer! Happily Ever After – Brothers of Camelot Style by Necie Navone is a novella that takes us deep down to the wedding of Bella and Drake that took place in My One Love. I loved being able to read in more detail about the first Camelot wedding that set such a high bar on the next ones! I also loved learning more about the dynamics between the brothers and it made me more impatient to their stories! I wonder who Necie is going to give us next and how long she is going to make us wait for it! I love the premises of the story and I just love the Moms (and Dads) and there is no surprise there that we love the Brothers when they have had the care and love of their elders, collectively … I know that the child in me wishes I had had such a close group to hang out with and be protected by! Keep them coming Ms Navone!

Proper Impulse is the fourth book in the Jaded Lily series by Zeia Jameson. I have read the other stories and I really like the character development that Zeia Jameson provides her readers. Her characters are fully developed, and in this story, opposite attract like cold and hot. Milo is a by the book character and Juniper is more of the way of life is more important than the rules. It was funny watching Milo and Juniper interact in the story. Will they learn to work through their differences? What will happen if they don’t? I recommend this story to learn if they are able to give into their differences.

This is the third book of the series and so far I have loved everyone of them! This novel had a sweet gripping storyline which kept my full attention throughout I just couldn’t pull my eyes away!! I loved the character’s they were well developed and I felt like I could really feel what they were going through. I loved how sweet and romantic the storyline is with a touch of drama it really had me captivated I can’t wait to read more.
The Season Finale by Heather Silvio is the sixth book in the Paranormal Talent Agency series. You can read this as a stand-alone however I do feel like we will miss so much of the build up. It’s my opinion that you should definitely read these in order. This whole series has been fun and entertaining. As with the rest of the books this was a quick and easy read that definitely made me smile. I can’t say that Liz and Tony were my favourite characters of the series however they definitely worked well together for this book. The chemistry was there and the connection between them strong. I have thoroughly enjoyed this whole series and it has introduced me to a new author. While this might be the last book in the Paranormal Talent Agency series I will definitely look to read more by this author in the future.

Siren’s Call: Cursed Seas by Amy McKinley is a Paranormal Romance- with fantasy, ancient curses, Gods, secrets, action, intrigue, magic, suspense, a mysterious arm band, drama, Greek Mythology/legends, and adventure. I love Ms. McKinley’s books, and was really excited to see she had once more ventured into the paranormal romance realm, with Greek mythology as the basis of her story. I adore her Five Fates Series, and so I was really intrigued to see what she would do with this storyline. As I began this journey, I was immediately immersed in the wonderful and imaginative world that Ms. McKinley has so cleverly crafted- losing myself in this great story. The characters are complex and well developed. They were easy to like, even though they frustrated me quite a bit at times- especially Zeer! I loved the intriguing and original take on Greek Mythology, and it added an extra element of interest to the whole story. It was just a little slow to get going, as all the foundations and character introductions were made. Once the pace picked up, I was completely enthralled b the story. I am quite curious to see what Ms. McKinley has got in store for us next, but whatever it is there is no doubt I am going to love it!

Ruin is the first book in The El Diablo series by Autumn Sand. This is a fantastic start to a new series- but, in saying that, there are quite a few familiar aspects to the story too, as this book/series is a spin-off from the Twisted Hearts Love Story Series, which I absolutely loved!!! Firstly, I think this cover is HOT HOT HOT! Just love it!! But on to the juicy, important stuff- this is a fantastic mafia romance, with plenty of suspense, heart in mouth moments, edge of your seat drama and thrilling twists. The story is a little darker than the previous series, with quite a lot of heart-wrenching and shocking details that had me flipping the pages like crazy to find out what happens. The story is thrilling and had me so engrossed in it, I was in a constant state of anticipation and expectation. Ms. Sand really is an expert at building and sustaining tension and suspense in her stories. From the disclaimer at the very beginning, you should be under no illusion as to what to expect. The story gets quite harrowing in places… and there are some twists that will tax your emotions as well as keep you guessing. There are quite a few sensitive topics that are broached in this book, but Ms. Sand handles them very thoughtfully- using them in a realistic and informative way- she doesn’t go into too much depth with them or use them gratuitously- and I applaud her for shining a light on these issues. But again, if you have any triggers, you may want to pay close attention to the warning at the beginning- because this may not be the book for you. I loved the tie-in to the Twisted Hearts Love Story Series- catching up with familiar and loved characters was a real bonus. The story also touches on some details and storyline/timeline from the previous series- so having read those books would be an advantage, but not critical, as this book can easily be read as a standalone. When I jumped on a copy of this book, I didn’t really read the blurb, I mean if it’s got Autumn Sand’s name on it, I just KNOW I will love it. But, then when I saw that our leading lady was going to be Tallie, I was a little concerned, as having met her previously (in the Twisted Hearts series) I didn’t really like her much there, and so I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to connect or invest in her, or the story. But as the everything unfolded and I discovered what had happened to her to make her the way she is, I really felt for her and by the time the story ended, I was a Tallie convert through and through. I should never have doubted Ms. Sand! Lesson learned! This book has bee worth the wait! And I am really looking forward to the rest of the series! If you love sexy, bold, suspenseful and gritty books; with thrilling storylines that you will find impossible to put down, then this is definitely the book for you!

Undercover (Billionaire Bodyguards Book 2) by Via Mari. OMG! Let me just say this book will make you swoon! I LOVED this book. I’ve become a huge fan of Via Mari so if I see that name attached to about anything I’m reading it. This is the 2 installment of the Billionaire Bodyguards series. Its the story of Marenah Koslov and Matt Benagert. Marenah is the grandaughter of the head of the Russian Bratva aka Mafia but she hides a lot of stuff from her family like her life’s passion and what she does for a living. She meets Matt Benagert security for 2 of the wealthiest men in the world when she goes into a bar to investigate her family. While there she witnesses something she shouldn’t have and now Matt feels he has to protect her. Matt and Marenah get kidnapped by the Chicago Mafia and once they are rescued the meet back up to pursue their feelings towards one another. Matt eventually figures out who she is and what connections she has to the Mafia. He has to find out her deepest secret. When he finds out will it change his feelings towards her? Will they even survive all the attempts on Marenah’s life? I loved this book and didn’t want it to end!

Proper Impulse (Jaded Lily Book 4) by Zeia Jameson. This is the 4th book in the series and I LOVED it. Its the story of Milo Cipriani who is a Police Officer and does everything by the book. There is no gray area where he is concerned. Enter Juniper Jensen also likes to help people but that doesn’t always entail doing everything by the book. Her world is full of gray area! At the beginning they clash like cats and dogs but as Milo eases up sparks fly. With Milo being uptight and by the book and Juniper being so sweet and wearing her heart on her sleeve it causes them to bash heads for a while but will they push that all aside to realize they are meant to be together? I laughed out loud in this book. I Loved it. These books can be read separately but I think you would enjoy them if you read them in order. Can’t wait for the next book from Ms. Jameson.
I absolutely LOVED this story! It is yet again another amazing read by the very talented Via Mari! I was hooked from beginning to end and I could not put it down at all! I loved Marenah and Matt! Their story was definitely full of action and a lot of steamy moments! I love how Ms Mari has intertwined characters from her other two series into this new one – although it is not necessary to have read them this book reads perfectly as a standalone. I thought Marenah was a fantastic character, so strong, independent and she could definitely hold her own when it came to it! I loved reading about her! I think I fell in love with Matt pretty much straight away! There was just something about him, so genuine and likeable. The moment that Marenah and Matt met I just knew (and hoped) that there would be something between them, apart from the attraction and chemistry there seemed to be something a little deeper there. I am really looking forward to reading more from this series and as always this author! I 100% recommend this amazing read to others!

I am not usually a fan of Sci-Fi stories however I really enjoyed Unchained Memory, it didn’t take me long at all to get into the story and I was really impressed by the author’s world building and attention to detail. There were some great twists and turns in the story that definitely helped to keep my interest throughout the book. I loved Asia and Ethan! They had such a great connection, very genuine and believable. I liked that whilst there were some steamier scenes between the two the author made sure to not let them overpower the story and kept it as a sci-fi romance read. The host of secondary characters were a great addition to the story and really felt like they had their own roles, it was nice that they were included and they were integral to the storyline. Overall a really enjoyable read and I am looking forward to reading more from the series!

Siren’s Call is a fantasy story that hit me on every level! I loved everything about it. It was so beautifully written and I loved being sucked into the world the Amy McKinley created!
Nerissa lives in a small seaside village that is protected by the gods. Unfortunately things happen and the village believes that offering the gods an unmarried woman will hopefully get them back into their good graces. Theres a twist, Zeer comes into her life and things heat up between them but she supposed to be offered to the gods.
I love how Amy incorporated Greek mythology into this book. I love how it seamlessly flowed throughout the whole book! This was such a beautiful read and she has definitely become my new one – click author!

Book 2 is just as good as book one. The action, the hotness, even the secrets being kept. It seemed that everyone was undercover for one reason or another! I kept trying to guess who the good guys were and who the bad guys were.
Matt is a body guard. He is also working undercover trying to uncover some mafia secrets and save innocent people. He is good at what he does. It doesn’t hurt that he is delicious to look at.
Marenah is the twin sister of Sasha from book one, Wayward. (You really don’t have to read book one to read Undercover but it sure doesn’t hurt.) Marenah’s family has many ties to the mafia, which includes secrets of their own. We know that her loyalty lies with her sister. We also know that Marenah is undercover, but who is she trying to help?! So many secrets!
Reading books by Mari makes good sense. These books are easy to read, adventurous, steamy and an easy way to escape reality.

Ruin: The El Diablo Chronicles by Autumn Sand is a dark read but oh so hot and one good read. Once I started I could not put it down and yes I finished it in one sitting. It is a great story and can be read as a standalone but it was nice to catch up with old friends. The story is gripping tale and I was drawn easily into their world and the characters are simplistic in their intensity and complexity. Autumns writing is vivid and rich and you feel like part of the journey.
El Diablo is very mysterious and dangerous and has a dark and cold heart. He rules and his word is followed to the letter. You cross him and you had better hide, forever because he will hunt you down. When he comes across one brave and lost soul, she may just break down his walls of that cold heart.
Tallie’s past is one of pain and torture one that has left her broken. When she meets a man so sure of himself but cold her life changes. But is it for the better? Can she find the one thing she so desperately wants?

Undercover (Billionaire Bodyguards Book 2) by Via Mari is another exciting and titillating story in this series which is a spin off from the original Prestian series and another spin of being the Torzial Affair. Each of these series are fantastic and now we get to see the wonderful alpha hotties who look after and manage the security of the billionaires get their own stories. All the characters intertwine within each of the series so now we are getting to know so much more about them and get reacquainted with them much more intimately. As always Via leads a mighty dance keeping it all together without compromising on the great story. The action and feelings, the secrets and danger, love and drama is described so vividly that it is palpable and draws you in. I always lose out on sleep when reading Via’s stories as I have to know how it will all end and it is so so easy to get lost in the journey they travel in.
In this book Matt gets his own story and we get to see where he came from and what he has been through. And when a mysterious blond comes into his life he won’t let her go but when he finds out the truth, he may just have to do that.
I suggest you start at the beginning with the Prestian series and work your way through, because as I said they are all intertwined characters and you will see where it all starts.

A chance encounter with a handsome man called Zeer leaves Nerissa hopeful that she will be married until Zeer disappears.
Nerissa remains unmarried after her two suitors passed at sea and Zeer has vanished and as the time of the sacrifice draws near her fears are realised when she becomes the virgin maiden they chose.
What unravels is an adventure about revenge, lies and finding out who you really are. Both Nerissa and Zeer are holding secrets but is their love able to overcome them.
Its an amazing story full of ups and downs, lies and truths, and finding out things aren’t always as they seem.
This book was amazing! This is the fourth book in the Jaded Lily series and I couldn’t get enough of it! The characters were funny and the story was interesting and I devoured it. Milo and Juniper couldn’t be more different. Milo is a police officer who lives his life by the book and even a hair out of line isn’t expectable to him. Laws are unbreakable and that’s his belief. Juniper is more or less your everyday citizen except for the fact that she had taken it upon herself to clean up the streets. She is willing to do whatever she has to do to accomplish that… Even if it’s illegal. These two butt heads more often than not and the banter between these two is hilarious. Will Milo realized that even though laws shouldn’t be broken, they can bend? I thought this book was great and I am looking forward to reading more books by this author! Happy Reading!
This series continues to just take my breath away and deeply satisfy my history and travel loving soul. It transported me to a time and place with such vivid imagery. The main characters leapt off the page and truly were magical to follow. I thoroughly enjoyed this installment in the series and look forward to reading more from Nicholas.

C.A. King is a one click author for me and I always enjoy her stories.
This is the first book in a new series about a (fictional?) town called Knollville. Knollville isn’t on a map, can’t be found by GPS and the road is hidden in plain sight.
This story has a different flair than then the stories previously written. It set up as more “horror” with a softer edge. It was fantastic and I was 100% invested from the STUNNING cover to the very last page.
One of my favorite lines: “Beware of the eyes of the beast, cold as steel, and the blood running through its veins. Its heart beats only to serve the demon within”

Unchained Memory was a great 5 star read and book one in the Interstellar Rescue series.
I was pulled in right from the beginning. Asia is out with friends and on her way home she finds herself parked on the side of the road and she has lost three hours. She has no recollection of what may have caused it, in a panic she rushes home. When she gets close to home her whole world shatters with what she sees. She has lost everything and it’s her fault.
As she tries to put things back together again she goes down a spiral of drinking and insomnia. To try and get answers and help with the guilt, she decides to go see a psychiatrist. There is something about Ethan that awakens things in Asia, she starts to have feelings for him.
Things take a strange twist and get more interesting. Ethan finds a pattern between Asia and some of his other patients. Can he help her? There is so much more on the edge of your seat moments. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to read more in this series.

5 Star Two Hearts Under Fire (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 8) By Tamara Ferguson is a wonderfully written story that I found myself lost in the pages and couldn’t put it down till the end. There’s a bit of everything in this story from action, ,danger,mystery,suspense, some adventure, and drama.This is a Military Romance and I must say my favorite of this series, this Author is simply amazing. There are a few twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. Russ and Claire find themselves targets of an assassin, they bring in Brand and Sarah to help them.Russ and Claire definitely have attraction to each other but now is not the time to get distracted. Can these two have a future together? Find out happens next is this must read.I will say this can be read as a standalone but if you haven’t already read the other books in this series I do recommend it. This is my favorite series yet. I mean what’s not to love about Military Romance? I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Wow! I know, I know, cliche to start with, but honestly just, WOW! This book completely consumed me and frankly still plays through my mind a few days later. Of course, this is the type of book that a book junkie like me chases, but the true delight comes with the one that were unexpected. Don’t get me wrong I have enjoyed previous works of Autumn Sand in the past but this book puts her on the must stalk list… err follow religiously LOL.
Prepare yourself for Raymond and Tallie. These two will sear the cover on your kindle and leave you thirsting for some water. Some scenes do tend to hit some possible trigger warnings so do note that. However, Sand does a wonderful job of writing even the difficult scenes with a class that is effortless. These two both have pasts and when things are all thrown into the pot at once you are bound to get some serious storylines cooking. I can’t divulge much more than the blur about these two, but I can assure you that the time spent reading it for yourself will be well worth every sizzling moment. I can’t wait to see what will come next in this series!

Zeia Jameson really hits the mark with Proper Impulse. This is the fourth book in her Jaded Lilly series, and honestly my favorite of the bunch. It could be read as a stand alone but I would recommend that you take the time to read the previous three books before diving into this one. The characters are rich with detail behind them that is only gained by reading the series in completion and order.
This one gave us the fabulous story of Milo and Juniper. What isn’t to love about these two? Milo lives and breathes his life as a police officer. It is bread into him and he is just wired to follow the rules. Well, Juniper is literally the oil in the water with her sweet free-spirited liberalism. She is all about bending those laws as far as they can go. So you can see the equation for a fun and interesting relationship between the two, especially when you start to add ‘feelings into the mix. I won’t give away anything else but I can guarantee you won’t want to miss out on seeing how things play out for Milo and Juniper.
Well, first I must start with the title, Happily Ever After – Brothers of Camelot Style, how stinking awesome is that. Now if I had never read anything from Necie Navone prior to this I would have still scooped up this read simply based on the title. I love novels like that, especially when they live up to the fabulous title they are carrying. This is part of Necie Navone’s Brothers of Camelot series so I would recommend that you read the previous published novels before this one if you get the chance to do so knowingly. It is possible to read as a standalone, but it would be in my opinion difficult to really fall for the characters or know them for who they are. S
This was the story of Bella and Fitz, and it was so eloquently perfect. I absolutely adore Bella and she really wins over the reader’s heart pretty easily. I can’t see a more perfect match that the charming Fitz either. He too was a fun and engaging character that has the ability to swoon the lady readers. I can’t recommend this read enough, and while your at it grab the rest of the series. You will want them on hand to ease the book hangover this will surely cause you.

Via Mari never ceases to amaze me with her novels. One of the unique things, in my opinion, of Mari’s writing is that she tends to rewrite of sorts tales that we have seen, but she adds a sort of pizazz and spin that is incomparable. Each time I finish one of her novels, I am often left missing the characters as if they were missing from my very own life.
Undercover is book two of the Billionaire Bodyguards series and follows along the story of Marenah and Matt. First off, how wonderful of a name is Marenah! The character has a special flair right out the gate with a name like that and she only manages to make you fall in love with her more and more as you delve into the story. I was also a fan of Matt. These two have some obstacles to overcome, and not just the basic ones you see on the surface. With Marenah being the granddaughter of the head of the Russian Bratva she already has complexities you don’t normally face. But there is even more to her that that and as each twist unfolds about her I was sucked in deeper. Matt seems like the perfect Alpha male to me. I really enjoyed how he carried his dialog, not being condescending or cliche.
I will definitely be back for more with the next book to come. I also want to note that Via Mari has several other books in this genre that is worth a scoop while if you love this one!
