The Billionaire and the Therapist (Clean Billionaire Romance Reads Book 1) By Kim Koby
This was a wonderful sweet and emotional story. I truly became invested in Natalie and John and their outcome. There is so much loss in this short story but also so much love. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story, it kept me completely captivated and I couldn’t put it down till I got to the end. I can’t wait to read the next one in this series. I highly recommend this book.

JD Boudreaux really has rounded this series out beautifully with ‘Broken Sand Dollar.’ I am sad to see these characters and their stories end but when an author writes it so well you are at a peace with it that you really can’t complain, a rarity that you will find from us bratty readers! {lol it’s NEVER enough} So, kudos really for doing so well with that here. I would highly recommend that you read both books one and two and in order before you start this one for the maximum enjoyment of the series and the book, and well so things just plain make sense.
Broken Sand Dollar really threw me for a loop when it came to Alex. I had expected things to turn out way differently for him than they did, and I am actually glad they went this way. Everything made such perfect flawless sense in the end, much like life often does, even though we never really understand it in the moment. I can’t wait to see what will come next from JD Boudreaux. I am positive it will be just as outstanding as her Sand Dollar series, if not better! Happy reading!

Boudreaux – Review by Liz Vrchota
THE BILLIONAIRE AND THE THERAPIST is a “clean” take on the typical male billionaire/beholden female story.
This is a quick story that was filled with absolutely every cliche… From the protagonist’s family to the size of his plane (and no that is not a euphemism for the size of his – well, you know), this story had it all. The story moves between events seamlessly with each chapter setting up the next.
There are secondary characters who help move the story forward and some are super annoying while others are interesting. Some of them just ticked me off based on their hypocrisy against events and people.
The cool thing about this book is that because it’s a clean/Christian romance (no sex, limited swears, not afraid to discuss Higher Power) I would have no problem recommending it to an elderly ladies’ book club or a younger person who was interested in exploring different styles of writing.

I have had the chance to get a bit of a taste of Jen Talty’s work in various anthologies here and there and really have enjoyed each story so it was quite a no-brainer for me when I saw the cute cat detective story pop up on my fee for a quick afternoon read. I was a tad cautious, although open-minded, going in because this is book eight of the Familiar Legacy books. I had absolutely no issues picking up right here though, just discovered a sweet series of shorts that I will get to go back and enjoy in the near future. I will say this isn’t a meaty story. It is what I like to classify as a light and fluffy book, something to break up the serious full series reads maybe, so that would be a note for myself and probably a reason for a four star rating as well for me personally.
In Trouble’s Wedding Caper we follow the feline detective and his caretaker Annabel on quite the mysterious little rendezvous. Annable finds herself at a storage auction and with a unit of unknown items. Even cannier is the previous owner really wants them back. Throw in that the local cop she enlists for help ust happens to be a old friend and crush. What will she do about that? Grab a copy today and dive in to find out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed that you did! Thanks for the great little read Ms. Talty.

The Devil’s Shadow is the fourth book in the Wild Beasts series by T. Birmingham. This book could be read as a standalone, but for maximum enjoyment I would strongly recommend you read the series in order. This fantasy book is full of wonderful characters and the action and suspense kept me wondering what would happen next throughout the book. Kieran and Ginny have such a connection, I was rooting for them beginning to end. This series continues to amaze me and this is one of my favorite book by T. Birmingham. I highly recommend this book, series and author, and can’t wait to see what book five will bring.
A Cold Dark Place (Cold Justice #1) by Toni Anderson is a gripping serial killer story with lots of suspense and a hot romance. The plot is well developed with several tantalising twists and turns that will have your heart pumping. Working toward the same goals but using different methods, exactly who is right or wrong. Secrets and lies that go beyond the realm of legal but again who is right or wrong. This is a fast paced story with a great mix of romance and mystery, deceit and suspense.
Alex has many secrets, but one he wants to walk away from, one that could destroy his chance at real happiness.
Mallory has lived her life under the spotlight of a terrible childhood tragedy, one that has led her on the path she is on today, but through it all there is only one thing that matters and that is finding the one person she loved more than anything in her life.
I am interested to see what the next book in the series brings.

Seraphina’s Awakening by Sheena Hutchinson was an interesting and refreshing read. This was my first book by this author, and I have to say that I was impressed with her writing style. It’s always interesting to come across something new that will captivate the reader. I have to say that the entire time that I was reading this book, I kept wondering what was going to happen, and how the story would develop. I was definitely left with wanting more after finishing this book. I can’t wait to read what happens next.
This is the first book I have read from this author and she blew me away. I love a good suspense romance but this book exceeded all my expectations. You can’t help but to fall in love with these characters. I was hooked on this book right from the beginning. These characters drew me so much I read this book in no time. It only took me a few hours to devour this incredible book.
Daniela Franco had the perfect childhood. She and her best friend Christina did everything together. Daniela was so excited to start college but tragedy hits. She lost her innocence and a beautiful life. Now Daniela doesn’t trust anyone. She stays out of the party scene and concentrates only on her school work. Daniela loves her job and boss. She is working one day and this handsome stranger comes in and she can’t take her eyes off of him. Daniela feels safe with this guy but she doesn’t understand why. Daniela and Nathan get to know each other and they become really good friends. Then she starts to feel like someone following her. Is Daniela’s past coming to even the score or is it all a misunderstanding? Will Daniela find the true love she has be dreaming about or will her life turn into a nightmare once again?
I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, mystery, suspense, and healing. You can’t help but to fall in love with these characters right from the beginning. Daniela is a strong woman that had a horrible incident happen to her. She is one of my all time favorite female characters of this year. Nathan is very handsome with a great heart. He wants to protect Daniela from all the bad in the world. The way he treats her will make your heart melt. There is some very sensitive issues that can trigger some people. I think the author handled these topics in a respectful manner. These characters will have a place in my heart for years to come.

A great read about opposites. Gillen is a gargoyle warrior trying to protect the world from demons from another world invading and hurting people. Stretched thin, he and his team try their best as imps attack the docklands with more ferocity than ever before. When the Angeli Commanders finally send their hosen warriors, Gillen thinks all their problems will be resolved. But he is in more than he expected and is tested to his limits. Can he rise to the challenge or is he stuck in his old ways? A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns that I just simply couldn’t put down. Well developed characters like Britt standing up for herself but caring underneath or Cahal sarcastic but kind and supportive underneath. Great cast of supporting characters like the kind and supportive father figure Uzeel or the strong minded Treasa. I loved the visual detail throughout the novel in the sense of overcrowding with the small spaces and the city full of life and people all jostling for space in the flats. Or the authors wonderful sense of imagination with the vivid colours of purples and reds and greens of the monsters with horns and fangs terrible but beautiful or absurd but still believable with creatures like Abraxas. Or the use of smell throughout with the horrible odors so strong and pungent it is as if you were actually there. Or the gargoyles themselves as something new in the fantasy genre as a wonderful mixture of wings and tails and ears for a creature that is magical but still believable and beautifully written. I loved the authors fun sense of exploration, with new creatures and powers with their own rules and societies and hierarchies and laws existing side by side with humans. A wonderful addition to the fantasy genre. This was made more compelling by giving the gargoyles more humanity with Gillen’s worries and anxieties or Uzeel’s kind supportive nature or with the instead of just being cold superior beings angels usually are in literature. this made them more realistic and sympathise more with their problems for a great read. I also loved the way the chapters alternated between the realism of high school life and the fantasy of the demons combined perfectly for a great read. The use of thoughts as part of the narrative was a brilliant addition and worked well to display the different characters struggles and worries Fast paced action and high stakes in a fantasy world made for a highly captivating read. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

This is book two in the Immortal Kindred Series. This time the story centres around Annie and her life. We meet her when she was alive and a spy captured by the Hessian soldiers. Captain Thayer Emmerich helps her escape. Even though they are on opposite sides of the war, Annie can’t deny the attraction or forget about him. One night she meets Millicent and convinces her to turn her into a vampire. Annie figures that with the added speed and strength, she can become the greatest spy ever. Although Annie and Thayer fall in love, his family quickly squashes the budding relationship. Can true love prevail? Will they find a way back to each other? Read the book and find out.
I really like Annie, she has a strength of character that Millicent lacks. She has her beliefs and is not afraid to stand by them. As a couple, I really wanted Thayer and her to be together. I think they compliment each other. Seeing as most of the book took place during the war, there was a lot of action but the book is so much more. There is love and intrigue and betrayals. There is something that happens at the end which I was expecting but it didn’t end the way that I thought it would so it was surprising. I’m curious to see what happens next. I’m looking forward to the next installment.

Surviving Grace by Virginia Wine is the fifth and final book in this series. I tend to get very attached to the characters over the course of a series and generally have a hard time letting go and saying goodbye. I will miss everyone but I’m happy with the way it ended.
Grace had her trust destroyed by the people who she should have been able to trust until the end of time. They gave her to a complete stranger and it nearly destroyed her.
We got to watch Grace rise up from the ashes to start her life over again and find love with a great man and see where everyone else ended up.
So glad I took the time to read this and will be looking forward to reading more by this author.

Little Do You Know (Bayou Devils MC Book 5) By A.M. Myers. I have absolutely loved this series and this book was to another fantastic story. Each story I think it couldn’t get any better but it always does. I think I’d say this couple was my favorite but don’t tell the others! The author does a wonderful job of writing characters that you want to root for and be friends with. I crawl into these stories and never want to leave. It’s well written and paced nicely with characters you can connect with. It’s a bit of an emotional roller coaster but it’s well worth it. I’m giving this book a five star review and highly recommend it to everyone.

Oh man this crazy cat lady was really hooked on this book. The author has a very unique story format and writing style. I really enjoyed the mix of romance and mystery. The whole story just really kept me glued to the book and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next.
I really found the chemistry between Annabel and Ethan to be sweet. The whole sort of crushing on your best friend’s brother really makes this story realistic. I just love the fact that Trouble plays a big part in this book. A detective cat just adds such a cuteness to the book. I found that the author had a real unique way of bringing in the mystery around the story and characters. I like the idea of the cat helping bring the couple together and helping solve the case. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.
I give Trouble’s Wedding Caper (Familiar Legacy Book 8) by Jen Talty, 5 stars.
Trouble, the feline detective, is being taken care of by Annabel in Jupiter, Florida. He is all ready for a vacation and can’t wait. But it turns out she may need his help after all. She purchases a storage unit at an auction, without knowing the contents. But now someone seems to want the stuff back, and is willing to do anything to get it back. Not only that, but Annabel finds out the local cop is an old friend and someone she’s had a crush on since childhood. She is not ready to date again, but there is something about him. Should she try? Can Trouble help solve the storage unit mystery before it’s too late?
I am new to this series and wasn’t sure what to expect. I absolutely loved it! Trouble is fantastic and Annabel and Ethan are too. The story is fun, engaging, and full of romance and mystery. I love that it switches between the two human points of view, then adds in Trouble’s point of view too! This book reminds me of The Cat Who series but with romance thrown in. I read that series as a teenager and it is dear to my heart. That should show you how much I love this book. I cannot wait to read the rest of the books in the series.
If you like romantic cozy mysteries and/or are a cat lover, this book is for you.

The Slip Series Collection contains the 3 novellas in the Slip Series by Gwyn McNamee: Dickslip, Nipslip and Beaver Blunder. All 3 are stand-alone novellas although there are some recurring characters. Each book starts with an embarrassing moment for the main character where they inadvertently expose an intimate part of their body which then causes major repercussions to their lives. In Dickslip, Top children’s TV presenter Rafe accidentally exposes his ‘meat and 2 veg’ when playing in a charity basketball game which is watched my millions across the country. His unlikely ally is brand new CEO Andrea who fights his case against the male hierarchy in the TV world. Nipslip, as the title may suggest starts with top model Riley’s nipple popping out of her dress when on the catwalk at New York fashion week. As well as being a funny rom-com this story also looks at the harsh realities behind the scenes in the modelling world. Finally, in Beaver Blunder, attorney Madeline Ryan goes commando to work one day when she realises that she has no clean underwear. As fate would have it, that’s the day she slips in the courthouse, baring her most intimate place for all the other male attorneys to see. As a woman in a very male dominated profession, this ‘slip’ could cause major damage to her career. Each of these 3 stories are sweet, funny romances which start out with embarrassing and career threatening situations but result in other life changing moments.

Seraphina has been having vivid dreams since she turned 18. But are they really just dreams? Especially when she sees the man from her dreams? Strange things begin to happen to her and around her. Things she cannot explain. People she cannot explain. But Nate, the man from her dreams, can provide the needed answers. This isn’t my usual kind of read, but I really enjoyed this book! Good versus evil at its best! I can’t wait to read the next book!

The Slip Series Collection By Gwyn McNamee 5 Stars
Looking for romance? Looking for laughs? Then this is a box set you HAVE to pick up! Gwyn McNamee has it locked down with The Slip Series Collection. Just the name of the collection should give you a hint! All the books in this series will take you on a hilarious journey.
From book 1, DickSlip, with its comedic banter between Rafe & Andy, Ms. McNamee ensnares the reader with great writing and all around good feelings. Although the story is not long you can’t help but be washed in positive energy and happiness while reading this book!
Onto book 2, NipSlip, which had me giggling as well as shedding a few tears! Ms. McNamee does a fantastic job of highlighting the ugliness behind the fashion curtains. The seriousness of the topic doesn’t detract from the story but enhances it. Fun-loving sassy characters, witty dialogue and crafty writing skills combine for a funny well-written story that you can’t help but love!
Rounding out this collection is book 3, Beaver Blunder. Holy hell, the name alone for this fantastic book!! Just like in books one & two, Ms. McNamee intersperses humor with a serious topic and knocks it out of the park.
Ms. McNamee doesn’t shy away from social blunders and how they can affect not only our self-esteem but our lives. Doing this with lots of laughter and even some tears, the emotions from these books abounds. Ms. McNamee is the best at crafting a story that will interest the reader, characters that you can’t help but love, humor that will have you doubled over with laughter and substance that will make these books a favorite for every reader. If you’ve never read Gwyn McNamee you are MISSING OUT!! Do yourself a favor and pick up this box set today!!
Wish I Had a Nickel is the second book in The Sand Dollar Series by J D Boudreaux. A heartwarming story for sure. A story that you can get lost in with great characters that you will come to love. Ms. Boudreaux has captured my interest and heart with this series.
Alex & Leigh have always been inseparable. Growing up it was natural to see one with the other. But when Leigh’s family moves out of state, the distance and separation cause them to drift apart. Fast forward 30 years and Alex & Leigh meet again. After years of separation will they be able to use their old friendship to build a new romance?
Ms. Boudreaux does a wonderful job of bringing the reader into the story from page 1. Watching Alex & Leigh’s friendship grow, the reader can’t help but be enamored of what they have together. Ms. Boudreaux pulls lots of emotions from the reader and keeps the story at a great pace. Memorable sub-characters help to move the story and Alex & Leigh’s romance along. Along with the Alex & Leigh, the reader is reunited with Penny from Ms. Boudreaux’s first book in this series which is fantastic because the reader is able to understand more about the characters and their interactions with each other. I was happy to read there will be a 3rd book in this series so I can go back and visit with the wonderful characters. My only caveat to this review is read book 1 first. I know most often; authors will release books in series that can be read as “standalone”. This is not really the case here. To get the most out of this book the reader needs to read both books. You will love all the characters and fall in love with the story and author! I highly recommend this book and author as someone that needs to be on your TBR list!

Trouble’s Wedding Caper (Familiar Legacy #8) By Jen Talty Rated 4 stars
This is an enjoyable read with some romance and mystery. The characters were fun and outgoing. Each of the MC have come down a hard road. Now that they are both back in the same town a little romance could be in their future. Especially if Rosie has anything to say about it. I zipped right through this with all the interesting side stories. It reads very smoothly. Trouble(cat) is a fun fixture. He figures out how to communicate well with the humans. He is a good add to the story. I enjoyed how he tried to get his point across.
This is my first book by this author. I throughly enjoyed meeting the characters and that cat! I have not read any others in the series so this can be read as a stand alone. I recommend this story if you are looking for a fun flirty read with a mystery.

5 Stars
Ok so this was my first read by this author and I thought it was fantastic, I so loved taking a break from some of the heavier books I’ve been reading and take on one that did have its serious points but was just simply a lot of fun to read. It had a steady and smooth flow, just enough drama and mystery to keep me stuck to the pages and then enough POV’s so that I always knew what every character was thinking.
I will with no doubt be going and looking through what else this author has available because her writing style suited me perfectly and oh how I wish there were more with Trouble, I just loved this whole concept…
Many Thanks to this author for a fantastical read!!

Surviving Grace is book five in the Surviving series by Virginia Wine. The quality that is evident with each story from this author is expected, but always surprising just how good they end up being. I am never quite prepared for the impact of the storyline or its characters. But it delicious being along for the ride.
Grace survives a horrific attack and losing her memory. She struggles to come to terms with it all, especially when the nightmare she endured starts to be revealed. Everything seems out of her control and she is losing her grip on her wish to get back to some sort of normality. The direction she was heading suddenly takes an unexpected turn and she has a hard time keeping up. This story had so many surprises and twists, which just crept up on me. The way the story was penned was original and really easy to read. It flowed without causing a ripple and ensnared me until the last word. A delightfully suspenseful drama that is well worth taking a chance on. 4 stars.

The Slip Series by Gwyn McNamee a five-star read that will blow you away. Dick Slip a five-star read that will have you slipping out. I have loved everything by this author I’ve read, this did not disappoint. It’s totally different to the Hawke Family series but it’s still just as good, it’s funny and sweet and hot all wrapped up in one great package. What starts as a tiny little accident (That’s not so tiny) leaves Rafe on a journey that he thinks is going to lead to him losing his job, but maybe it leads to so much more!! You need this book in your life, the author writes words that will make you smile as well as blush. NipSlip a hilarious and side splitting five-star read. One slip, one click will life ever be the same again, for Riley Boswell or you if you one click this amazing series. The writing is funny and sweet you will be up there on the cat walk with Riley when her malfunction happens, something beyond her control that may still ruin her life. Gwyn McNamee will make you feel part of the story, you will be there with Riley and admiring Tate Decker as he moves about his office. This author has a talent of creating people whom no matter what happens to them you will still adore them. Beaver Blunder a five-star read that will have you slipping up with laughter. This time it’s the misfortune of Madeline Ryan who has one brief mistake that would haunt most people for life, but Madeline isn’t like most people, she is a strong independent woman, she has fought her way up in a man’s world and come out fighting. But sometimes you fight so hard you forget to stop. This may be a lesson to those of us who like to swing in the breeze, never walk on a wet marble floor in heels, get someone to carry you!! Gwen McNamee once again you have made me cry with laughter and blush like a crazy person as I was reading in public!! Who will slip up next? I can only imagine.

The Slip Series Collection By: Gwyn McNamee 5 out of 5 stars
The Slip Series Collection by Gwyn McNamee is a group of stories that are fast-paced and fun to read. There is enough embarrassment, humor, romance, and steamy scenes that you will find yourself lost in each story’s pages and not wanting to put them down. There are wonderful and engaging characters that I loved reading about. There is humorous dialogue that had me with a smile on my face and laughing out loud. You can’t help but be embarrassed at each wardrobe malfunction. There are also moments that warm your heart. There are scenes that have the temperature in the room rising. There is attraction and playful banter. Each story has men and woman who are strong and loveable characters. By the end of each book, I found myself caring about what happened to each main character and wishing for their happiness. The stories are wonderfully written. I highly recommend reading them.

The Slip Series Collection contains all three books in The Slip series- Dickslip (Rafe & Andy’s story- Book #1), Nipslip (Riley and Tate’s story- Book #2), and Beaver Blunder (Maddie & Owen’s story- Book #3). These books are all hilarious romantic comedies that revolved around wardrobe malfunctions- and the mayhem and hilarity that ensues. These books are so refreshingly original, so much fun to read, incredibly funny, sexy, witty, and so incredibly HOT. I fell in love with the stories and the characters immediately, and easily became invested in them and the outcome of their stories. There was no way I was able to put the book/s down before I had read every single word. As I have come to expect, Ms. McNamee proves time and again what a brilliant author she is by delivering captivating reads every single time (and in any genre!). I am always excited to get my hands on one of her books, because she always exceeds my expectations! I cannot recommend her, or her work, highly enough!! I really can’t wait to see what she does next.

Seraphina’s Awakening (The Seraphina Series Book 1) by: Sheena Hutchinson was a good read. The book started off a little slow, but after I was able to really get into it. I enjoyed the characters and their story line together. The story line was quite refreshing, and one I felt like I hadn’t necessarily read before. Sheena Hutchinson is a new author for me, but I enjoyed this book and would absolutely read other books by her. I enjoyed the writing style and her characters, and can’t wait to see what happens next with the story. Overall, I give this book 4 stars, just because It didn’t hook me instantly.
What She Lost And Found by M. L. Garcia was my first read by this author. I enjoyed reading this book and it captured my attention from the very beginning. Everyone has a past. Everyone has a choice to either move on and be stronger because of it or live in fear. Daniela Franco has been through a lot a few years ago. Not only did she lose her best friend tragically but she was also assaulted. Daniela finally becomes great friends with Nathan. He’s the only male she trusts aside from her dad. She slowly comes out of her she and eventually meets Alex. There was a lot of back and forth with Daniela. Which man should she date ? Which man will she date. This book keeps the reader totally entertained throughout the whole book.

This book was an unexpected delight. Emotional and riveting, I found myself sitting in the front seat with storm chasers. The details allowed my imagination to run wild. The characters were relatively able and realistic. Packard does a wonderful job creating this universe and these characters.
Kylie Stewart gives the reader another wonderful book with Feathers. I loved these characters and the smooth flow of the plot. The details were plentiful and allowed me to feel as though I were experiencing everything with the characters. Just a terrific book. I cannot wait to go back and read it again.

We start with Nathanael being summoned and told he had an assignment, an assignment he wasn’t happy about, Guardian to a human. When he hears her whisper something in her sleep she quickly gets his attention.
We jump ahead a few months. Seraphina finds herself on a date with Jack, someone she has been crushing on, but something is off about him and strange things keep happening. Nate is still continuing to watch over Seraphina, until one night she gets hit by a car and realizes that her senses are much clearer. When she meets Nate things finally start to come together.
Nate was great, he made some sacrifices for Seraphina. There is something after Seraphina, will he be able to keep her safe?
There is so much more to this great read. The secondary characters added a great element to the story. Seraphina and Nate were both great, they had their own strengths and Nate was hot. Sheena Hutchinson does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. I can’t wait for book two in this series.
