Lost in Love ( The Miss Apple Pants Series Book 2) By Charlotte Roth is a wonderfully written story about finding love where you least expect it,and friendships . I found myself a bit emotional at times and laughing at other times. Its a fast paced story that I had a hard time putting down once I started reading. I do recommend reading the first book in this series although it’s not necessary, but this one does pick up three years after the first and is the continuation of the story. Get ready for Ella as she travels around Europe with her family. Ella might just find love ,I highly recommend reading this book especially if you want to know what happens next. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

Lost in Love (The Miss Apple Pants series Book 2) by Charlotte Roth is a fun and sweet story. We once again meet up with the quirky and loveable Jensen family. It is a fun read as we go on an adventure around the world. One in the hopes of finding someone and another Mrs Rock who is going with them in the hopes of reliving old times. It is a beautiful story that often had me laughing out loud at the antics and I felt right at home with them.

Charlotte never disappoints with her unusual stories and quick wit. They are easy read and to enjoy and always leave you feeling light. Grab a drink settle in and enjoy a few hours of fun.

Lost in Love is the second installment in the Miss Apple Pants series and I enjoyed it even more than the first. Charlotte Roth is an author I like to keep an eye out for, while her books are pretty
different I haven’t come across one I haven’t enjoyed yet.
I recommend reading this series in order as Lost in Love is a continuation of the first book, picking up a couple years after the first left off. The story remains fun, entertaining and light hearted. I have enjoyed watching the character development from
the first to second novel, and the witty nature of Ella kept me smiling.
I would love to see more from this author soon!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Lost in Love by Charlotte Roth is book two of The Miss Apple Pants series. Book one should be read before reading this book in order to be able to follow along.

This book picks up three years after book one and Ella is just as smart, beautiful and funny as ever. When her father announces a surprise trip, Ella finds herself confused when it comes to matters of the heart. She doesn’t quite know how to follow her heart. Should she revisit the past or take a risk on something new? There is so much wit, adventure and romance in this book. There are plenty of emotions and some heart warming moments.

If you haven’t yet, read book one so you can read this book!

Well, this was way more than I expected. I expected cute and happy and what I got was a wonderfully told story with some heartbreaking moments. I loved that this was full of emotions, all of the emotions, and Charlotte Roth was not afraid to put it all out there. There are times that a book like this could feel forced, cliche almost, but I don’t think this is one of them. I think it was smartly written and controlled so as not to be too much so to speak. This is the second story involving these endearing characters. I haven’t read the first book yet but I will soon and I will be keeping my eye out for the next one. I’m hoping that I will get answers to some questions that I have in the next one too.

Lost in Love (The Miss Apple Pants series Book 2)Lost in Love
By: Charlotte Roth
My Rating: 4 of 5 stars

Lost in Love (The Miss Apple Pants series Book 2) by Charlotte Roth was a sweet, emotional read, that got me in all the good feels.

The second book in The Miss Apple Pants Series, and I have to say, Charlotte Roth has outdone herself. I did have some mix feels about the first book, but once I saw the second and remembering the loose ends from the first book, I had to pick it up. Now before you dive into this wonder, this is a continuation series, so I highly suggest reading the first book, or be prepared for major spoilers.

This book was pure emotions. Sure there were still some issues with filler and going down the rabbit hole, but it fits so well with Ella’s personality, that I didn’t mine it as much as I did in the first book. I will say that the ending, that soul fire, kick to the chest that melted my heart, felt like it took way too long to get too. I get it, real life isn’t that fast, but, I felt like this big adventure in Europe, took too long to get to the point, as to why Ella was there in the first place. Again I don’t know if this was done to up word count, but this book would have been just as impactful, if it was more compact and maybe even novella size.

Overall this sweet tale was heart clutching, and you can feel the love, sadness, longing, from each character. There was this one scene with Thomas as the start, where I literally felt his heart pain, longing, and just plain old pure love.. and then I wanted to slap Ella for not seeing it, or better yet, not wanting to see it. Damn it all, my heart is all fluttery, happy and just melty.

With that said, please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will get swept away by this weird combination of, Sleepless in Seattle, Eat, Pray, Love and happy ever afters.

Happy Reading

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lost in Love by Charlotte Roth is the second book in the Miss Apple Pants series. We catch up with Ella three years after the letters and Hans. So much has happened in that time. Alfred and Ava are now almost three and growing so fast. Ella has grown even closer with Martha and her family and then there is the trip to Europe.

I love Mrs. Rock even though I really didn’t want to at first. I think my favorite was Amsterdam. Ella has just done so much growing up, which she didnt have much of a choice but she is doing amazing as a young single mom.

I sincerely hope there is a third book in this series. I have things I want to know and they weren’t answered completely here. I’m so glad I found this series!

Then there’s a new favorite by this author…I loved the the first Miss Apple Pants but let me say, I love this one even more. When I say I could not put this book down I mean I couldn’t put it down. I wish I had the words to explain what it is about this authors books that keep me racing back for more, for one it is her characters and the way this author writes their interactions…They just seem so so real. Another is the family and the friendships that she writes about. Then there’s the storylines that keep me from doing what a real life wife should be doing, like cooking and cleaning and conversing with anyone around me lol

I don’t even know where to begin with this review as far as the story itself. Let me just say that it just flowed and every word was needed to fulfill what was happening…No fluff added to make the story longer. There were very subtle little twists and turns throughout the story, those you see coming and just can’t wait to see them happen and then those you don’t really see coming but aren’t earth shattering throw your kindle kind of twists and the characters OMG, I am so so so in love with Ella’s family, they made me laugh so many times throughout the story and the addition of Mrs Rock and her story just added the cherry on top of this whole book.

I absolutely love this author, she is on my list of favorites and I completely and sincerely recommend everything she writes and I suppose you could read this as a standalone, but don’t do that…Grab the first and read them both for the full enjoyment of this story.

Can not wait to she what she writes next!

Loved It!!

Lost in Love by Charlotte Roth a four-star read you will adore. This is the second novel in the Miss Apple Pants series, I would say read them in order as even though its not necessary it does give the whole story as it picks up three years after the first and continues the story, so you get the most reading them in order. This was sweet and funny but at times a teeny bit annoying, and confusing. This is a light-hearted series and one that if you enjoy that type of thing you will enjoy. Anyone who has been a little bit of a clutz will identify with Ella.

This is the second book in the “Miss Apple Pants” series by Charlotte Roth but it is fine to read as a standalone. I hadn’t read the other books but was quickly enchanted by the characters. I found them original and very easy to identify with. I loved the humour of this book and found it easy to follow. It was a good paced story with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. I liked that some of the characters were older as young characters seem to be the norm.
I’d recommend this to anyone who likes a love story or a family drama.

I have absolutely fallen in love with this series. Lost in Love is the second book in the Miss Apple Pants series and it was such a fantastic, trendy read. It has everything you want in a story from love, humor, friends, a dash of drama, and anything else you can think of.

I met Ella in the first book and I feel like she’s come a long way since that story. She has done so much growing up and you can’t help but just love her and the people around her. There are some big decisions that she needs to make in this story (I won’t give any hints).

Miss Roth writes such light and engaging stories and I love being sucked into them every time. I cannot wait for more!

Dancing Queen by Charlotte Roth. I love reading and I’ve read tons of books but I’ll have to say I’ve never felt a connection with a story as much as I did this story. From page one I was completely transfixed on this story, with characters I just couldn’t get enough of. This story is inspirational and really just hit me in all the feels. I laughed until I cried in parts and I’ll honestly never forget this story. The author does a wonderful job I believe of writing not only characters you’ll love but also a story that will have you up late repeatedly saying “just one more page”. Four Stars

I like fun books where people build themselves up. This story start off wrong for me. The fact that they thought it was ok to nominate someone to get help because of their weight was mean and judgmental. The lady could have a medical issue that causes her to be heavy. It could be anything. But the story does have a ok message. Be who you wish to be. Dance even when someone is watching. Build your confidence so high that even the most vile person couldn’t bring you down. Fiona was strong in many ways and you could feel her emotions when it came to her insecurities. I dislike how it’s mostly your family tearing you down instead of building you up. The book was fun and sassy and made me have a little hope that dreams can come true you just have to have the right people in your corner.

Dancing Queen by Charlotte Roth is a five star novel. This book was a fantastic, quick read. I loved the pace of this book and how life for Fiona changes. I love that the job she has has a program to try to help people with their health issues. Whether that is being too heavy or to thin, they have a support group for both at the same time. When Fiona decides to go to group, she is told she needs to find a hobby and that quilting is a great one. After another coworker is encouraged to go to group too, he decides they should join a dancing competition. Fiona just laughs. How could she possibly join a dancing competition when she looks the way she does? She’s been told her whole life that she was too fat to follow her dream of becoming a dancer. Now that she is thirty-five, she really knows she isn’t qualified but skinny Stu is relentless and insists she join with him.

Dancing Queen was a good 4 star read.

Size is just a number, not a reason.

Fiona is obese and finds herself being told by her boss that she has to go to a support group for people with health problems, she is also encouraged to pick up a hobby. She is also joined by a co-worker named Stu, who is too skinny. He finds the perfect hobby for them, a dancing competition.

Dancing brings up memories for Fiona, some sad some happy. Things take a twist when she finds out her sister is also competing in the competition.

I really enjoyed this book, I had several LOL moments. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story, although I didn’t care to much for mom or sister. I enjoyed the memories that Fiona had about her grandma. This is an inspirational book on getting past your insecurities and moving forward with being happy as you are. This is my first read from Charlotte Roth and I look forward to reading more from her.

“Dancing Queen” by Charlotte Roth is a wonderful story about Fiona, a stuck in a rut, overweight 30 something who makes a fast friend out of Stu, a scary skinny man in her office that she meets through some awkward circumstances. Together, this unlikely pair help each other come alive again as they take on a new hobby. I don’t know what I was expecting while I was reading this book, but Charlotte Roth really caught me off guard! I was expecting your generic fat girl finds love story (Not that there is anything wrong with that, those stories make me feel better about my round shape!) but this story is so much more. I loved reading about Fiona’s journey with food and the friends that help build her up. The characters in this story are (mostly) amazing characters that I would love to have as real life friends! The ones that aren’t amazing, felt exactly like people I have in my own life, which broke my heart a little for Fiona. However, this brave woman is no punching bag! Fiona is such a strong, loveable character whom anyone can admire. There is a bit of a twist at the end that literally made me immediately start crying and make a weird emotional noise when I read it because it was so beautiful! So, I give “Dancing Queen” an obvious five stars! Charlotte Roth truly earned them, so do yourself a favor and read this book already!!

I loved this book!! This was such a wonderful, easy to read story and I absolutely fell in love with the characters Fiona and Stu! I felt like I could really connect with Fiona, the way in which the author write about her made her feel like she was real. I really felt like I wanted to be there on the side lines cheering her along every step of the way. I was truly inspired by Fiona, her story and her outlook on life. The author cleverly intertwined funny with emotion and explored situations that made you think about how society view and judge people all the time based on what they look like.

So Adorable!  Lost In Love is the second book in The Miss Apple Pants Series by Charlotte Roth. In this book we follow Ella through a series of events of love and life. This book starts a few years after the first one. Ella has learned to grow up fast and since the first book she has grown even more and it was a pleasure to read. Her father decides to take a trip to Europe and Ella doesn’t know what she needs to do. Following your heart is not an easy task and it’s especially hard for Ella. Who does she need to go after? Her former love or risk something with a new one? Her heart is completely on the line and she doesn’t want to be heartbroken again. This book is super cute and light hearted it’s also so incredibly relatable in the sense that all women go through the ups and downs of love and life. I would recommend this book to someone who enjoys relating and learning from others. I really enjoyed this book and hope to read another one.

Lost in Love is the second book in the Miss Apple Pants series by Charlotte Roth. This is a really great story- with quirky characters, adventure, romance, charm, emotion, humour, friendship, family, drama, a sprinkle of mystery, and more.
We met Ella in the first book, but she’s grown up a lot since then. A lot has happened to get her to this point. She’s still trying to ‘find herself’ and there are few big decisions to be made as we follow her through this story. I really love Ella- she’s strong, kind, beautiful, and a little off-beat. I really enjoyed reading this book and loved the contrast from the first book.
This is a heart-warming and very enjoyable read, highly recommended!

Dancing Queen by Charlotte Roth is a heartwarming example of a story that takes body image issues and flips hem on their head.
This boo has everything. Not only does it tackle an issues that is so prevalent in today’s society but it does so with wit and humour. So many times I found myself chuckling at what was going on with the characters and the story.
But at the same time it gracefully handles an issue that most people, not just females, go through. It highlights body weight concerns and the author shows exactly why they should not hold you back.
This was, for me, a surprisingly refreshing read and one I enjoyed more than I expected.

Ok so I totally loved this book. It hit some emotions I had buried long ago and I was totally able to relate to Fiona, which just made me enjoy the book that much more.

I loved the characters even the ones I loved to dislike immensely, I wanted to slap a couple along the way, especially that sister, and the Mom at some points. I loved how this story progressed and the strength that ensued by Fiona as the book went on, Lance became one of my favorites towards the end and totally made me smile and that other little twist at the end totally threw me and actually made me tear up.

I’ve read a few books by this author and I am in love with her writing style, I love knowing when I pick one of her books up that I never really know what I’m going to be reading, which always means a one click for me.

I highly recommend this story and I just know you will fall in love with Fiona and Stu just as I did.

Dancing Queen is a heartwarming, witty and entertaining romance by Charlotte Roth. This book had me smiling and laughing throughout the book while at the same time dealing with some serious health issues. Fi and Stu are lovable characters that were brought together in a support group by the HR department of the company that they work for. They are encouraged to take up a hobby like quilting to deal with their unhealthy eating habits. When they find that they both have a love of dancing, after discussing fears of not being able to do it, Stu and Fi decide to enter in a community dancing contest. This author has become a one-click author for me. I’ve enjoyed all of her stories and the MISS APPLE PANTS duet is absolutely a set of stories I absolutely recommend. (Will there be a third? Fingers crossed.)

LOST IN LOVE picks up where the first book leaves off. Even though it is set three years in the future AND I loved the first book, I was a little disoriented when I cracked the binding of this delightful story. I do not recommend this as a stand-alone because the first is so important to this one.

This author has a way of setting the stage for a multilayered, multidimensional story that is a pleasure to read. To watch the character’s growth and maturity (she’s 20 and acts 80 at times) as she navigates this crazy thing called life was a joy.

I don’t want to give anything away so will end this review with: Read these books!

Charlotte Roth did it again. She wrote Dancing Queen which is a fast steady read with all kinds of humor, sass, and love all wrapped in one. One thing about Charlotte Roth is when I am feeling down I just pick up a book by Charlotte Roth and I find myself in a better mood instantly. This story will keep you giggling all the way through. Fiona is a “fat girl” that was told she could not dance because of it. Her work urges her to join a support group for her weight issues. There she meets Stu. Stu and Fiona become friends. Stu brings this wacky idea to Fiona that they should compete in a local dancing with the stars. That is when the story takes off and let the comedy, friendship, and love dance right in. I will be recommending this book to anyone that needs that release from the tortures of the world around them to join Stu and Fiona in their world of friendship.

Rated 5 stars!

Dancing Queen is a true inspiration. The main character was very easy to identify with. Her thoughts and feelings could have been mine. With that being said it is interesting how this made me look at people differently. It’s easy to make a judgement on someone but it’s harder to make a friend of that person.

I love the relationship between the main characters. The whole cucumber thing…was great! I couldn’t help but *shiver* at the thought of the first one. Ugh! I really liked Fiona but Stu? He really was the my favorite. He has a great attitude and he always made me smile. His calorie counting was crazy! As for secondary characters Diane was the best! She is quirky and an amazing friend. That’s not to say I didn’t love Lizzie, Lance and the whole rest of the cast.

The writing is so very smooth. It was easy to get brought into the plight of Fiona and Stu. I loved watching them become friends. The author does a good job of making me think one way then changing my opinion later. I really enjoyed this story.

Dancing Queen by Charlotte Roth is a fun and inspirational read. Fiona has always been the “fat” girl. She gets paired up with Stu in a healthy life support group. Stu has a crazy idea that the two should sign up for a dancing competition. Fiona has always been told that she shouldn’t dance because of her size. Will she stand up and take the challenge?
I really enjoyed the characters and their relatability. The story is fun and deals with body issues in a light way but that doesn’t ridicule the subject. The writing is smooth and the story just flowed. I did not want to put the book down and was disappointed to see the story end. I will definitely be looking for more from this author in the future.
