I love this series, I always know when I open up another book by this author that it will make me feel good and this one was no exception. I will admit though that reading them all so far apart I get a bit confused with names which is why I can’t wait someday in the near future to take a weekend and read every one of them back to back.

Two people who meet and have a connection yet are both loyal to the connections they are already involved in move forward in their duties separately and both end up injured while taking part in special missions near Iraq, him losing a leg and her her arm. They both end up back in one of my favorite places Crystal Rock, Wisconsin to both participate in a program retraining wounded warriors, both of them as instructors.

Both of them have been hurt by the same prior relationships that had kept them apart years earlier and have now swore off long term relationships, but the connection they both felt is still there and when they come together to help protect a woman who is convinced her husband is trying to kill her they find they have more in common they they thought. Can these break down the walls they each have built and find happiness?

This was another feel good story and I can not wait for the next …There’s a lot more to Claire’s story I think and I can’t wait to read about her and a few others.

Awesome!! Loved It!!

This is my 2nd book by this author and although I really liked the 1st in this series, I sincerely loved this one.

The authors writing style made for a smooth read and I finished it in just a couple hours. I loved the storyline and how it was a bit different than the normal 2nd chance at romance stories. The few twists and turns were placed perfectly and the ending had my heart racing and I could see it playing out, it felt like I was there watching it all happen. I loved the family aspect of this story, and the return of our first books couple.

I absolutely cannot wait to see who will get book 3, and although this is a series you can read this book as a standalone but I wouldn’t recommend it because you would be missing out on so much history with others in this story.

Loved it!!

Oh My!! This book was out of this world amazing, I loved every single second of it!! This is my first read by this author and Im blown away.

Usually when there are this many characters in one book I get all flustered but this one was done so perfectly that I never had to stop and say “wait, who was that again” I don’t know how this author did it but it was simply perfect.

I don’t even know if I know what the main storyline was because it was all so good and I was fully invested in each individual story all the way through..I lied I do know what the main was and it had me all over the place thinking I had it all figured out and of course until the end I didn’t.

I’m sitting totally blank because I don’t know what to say…I want to tell you about each person in this book, I want to tell you their stories and tell you how I felt about each one but that wouldn’t be fair, I am not even kidding when I say I already want to go read it again and I will recommend this to everyone I know that reads.

This had the perfect balance of everything I love in my books, the mystery though I think was my favorite part with the interaction and friendship bonds that were formed being a very close 2nd. I don’t even know who my favorite was because I loved them all, I even loved the ones that I was meant to not like, the character building was spot on.

I will absolutely be reading more from this author, I have to quit rambling because I’m too tempted to say too much…READ THIS!! This author is so talented and I just know that anyone that loves to read will thoroughly enjoy this book!!

Ok this was simply awesome…my second read by this author and I loved it. It had all I love in a book…mystery, suspense, 2 people who see each other again after years and pick right back up fighting each other at every turn, love, romance, hurt, danger, and a huge loveable butt dialing beast named Balboa.

Yes this story had it all and it had me trying to put the pieces together all the way through, I love stories like this, and I loved all the characters at play and how they all interacted.

I read this pretty quick since I couldn’t put it down once I started and this author had a new fan when I finished the first that I read and this one just solidified that.

Loved it and I highly recommend! Hope there is more to come for these and other characters in this story.

By Phoebe Alexander

I was not sure what to expect when I started this book and I didnt really care because hey, its Phoebe Alexander so if her name is on it..I read it 🙂

I will say that I was blown away..a storyline like I’ve never read, it wasn’t all wine roses and cupcakes and the characters weren’t rich and perfect. I fell in right at the beginning and was hooked, so much so that real life and adulting didn’t enter my mind while reading. I’ll be honest I don’t normally read anything m/m, f/f, or much m/m/f but the way this author handled it all in this story just felt natural, like nothing was at all different, feelings are feelings and I walked away from this book in awe!

There was a lot going on, and my feelings towards Nav completely confused me at first…I kept asking myself, Is this a good guy or am I going to totally hate the main character of this book…Well as it turned out I absolutely loved him, he is probably the most broken main character I’ve ever read about and my heart hurt for him, and some of the decisions he made were not the best and I had a few SMH moments with him. Then there was Anjuli, again when I first met her I was thinking hmmm..am I going to like her, well yes I also fell in love with her and although not quite as broken as Nav she still had issues she dealt with as well.

As I said, there is alot going on in this story, but I got so invested in it so early on that I never lost track, I couldn’t put it down and the addition of some of the players that came into the story just added that much more for me. I’m not going to go into anything about this storyline..it needs to be gone into blindly like I did it…

This author is an auto one click for me, she is beyond amazing and this might just be my favorite by her so far, I highly recommend for anyone over 18 and also highly recommend you have a fan blowing on you at all times because there are some scenes where you will need that blowing on extra high!! 🙂

LOVED IT!! This author is brilliant!!

I LOVED this book, but that’s not a surprise because I love every one of this authors books. I’ve read them all and can not wait for the next.

I wasn’t even aware that there was another book coming after Alterations and when I saw it and then saw that its a trilogy??? This author writes in a way that when you pick her books up you have no idea what you may be in for. Every one of them are different and this to me is awesome!!

This story carried on from the first, the 3 ladies that Dr. Kite “helped” have now started moving on with their lives, and each one dealing with their own good and bad.

Dr. Kite is again up to something, and I loved reading his parts of this story.. I don’t know why he fascinates me so much but he does…Would I trust him if he showed up at my door? Ehhh, maybe to an extent.

Bring on the 3rd!! I can’t wait…This author has a style all her own and she is an immediate one click for me.

My first question is how is this the first book I’ve ever read by this author, my second question is how fast I can grab the first in this series and my third is OMG when will the next book be out??

This was simply awesome!! From the writing style to the flow to the characters to the personalities..just everything was awesome about this book. I love snappy dialogue and this was completely spot on for me. I had no problem reading this without

The storyline was unique and is ongoing, this book did not end in a cliff hanger except for giving us a look into the next one where the story will continue.

This author has a way of throwing in twists and turns throughout the entire story, some smaller than others but every one of them had me on the edge of my seat, and there’s a lot of players involved but it was made extremely easy to keep up with all of them.

I just can’t say enough about this book, and this author has just gained a new fan, I can’t wait to check out whatever else is available.

Loved it and highly recommend!

This author has quickly become an absolute favorite of mine. This story although a bit different than what I’m used to by her was still as enjoyable as all the rest in a different way.

I could totally relate to Ella when in her senior year she has to move..this happened to me and was not something I enjoyed, but if Id had the chance to have my story go the way hers did in some places I might actually look back on it and smile a bit.

I had all the feels while reading this story, and my favorite part of this authors books is her writing of the interaction between the characters, she chooses the best conversations and without knowing the words to explain this I’ll just say it is awesome. Ella did experience more than someone her age should have to, yet also experienced what many young girls would love to have. I was fully invested in this story and highly recommend it.

I will be waiting for what this author comes up with next and I hope its soon because I’ve already read everything else she has available 🙂

Oh. Em. Gee.

I’m going to start by saying this book is officially in my top 3 favorite books so far this year..and no doubt in my top 10 of all time. This whole story shattered me and the ending…There aren’t words.

Im sitting here blank staring at my screen trying to figure out how to put into words how much I loved this book. Everything..The writing style, the storyline, the pace, the shock factor, the twists and turns, the screwed up way I fell in Love/Hate with Gavin and still feel that way even after finishing, the main characters, the secondary characters..The only negative I can come up with is that I don’t have the 2nd book in my hands yet…Yet being the key word.

Why have I not ever heard of this series is all I keep asking myself, I should already be saying I’m on my 4th reread, because I already know without reading the rest that I will be rereading, and more than once.

This story had me experiencing all the feels, if it can be felt I promise I felt it and anyone that loves reading or even kind of likes to read needs to have this book and this series and this author in their collection

I’m just in awe and I’m sorry I didn’t go into any of the storyline, this needs to be experienced head on…Trust me!!

Brilliant!!!

Wow!! Another grand slam from this amazing author. I can’t even figure out what words to use to explain how much i loved this book. No I take that back..This whole series…I already want to start all over and read them all again. I’ve said this in previous reviews but it’s worth repeating…I love MC books but this series paints this MC club in a different way that I just can’t explain. It’s more like a complete family and I love every single thing about it.

This book..sigh…might be my favorite of the three and I’m thinking if I went back and read them I would say that about each one. This author takes chances with her stories, you always think you know what’s coming, I know I do anyway and I read and wait for it realizing that what I’m thinking is going to happen doesn’t and in the meantime something really dramatic has happened. You would have to read this book to understand what I mean by that. I held my breath a few times and cried a few times and I have to say I laughed out loud a few times. The chemistry between these two characters was spot on and I still laugh when I think of a few things that happened between them.

The only thing that upset me was the last page, I kept swiping looking for who the next book might be about, there’s a few I’d love to read about, and reading about our book 1 and book 2 characters took me right back to their stories. This author has an amazing talent and this series will be a favorite of mine from here on. While I wait for the next in this series I think it’s time I look at what else there is available.

Loved it and it deserves way more than the 5 stars max.

This is one of my favorite series, everytime a new book is added I can not wait to read it, following Dane and Shana along this journey has been so much fun, and I love the supporting characters that have been along the way..Acer being my favorite as well as Cap and how Ronnie went from being just a stringer to being so valuable has also been fun to watch.

This book had all that you would expect while reading this series..Danger, suspense, a bit of snarkiness from our leading lady and the exasperation and protectiveness from our leading man, and of course the all important romantic moments.

I could read this series forever, I love every one of them and absolutely can’t wait to see how the future plays out for all of them and hope there are many more cases to solve.

I highly recommend this book as well as the whole series but to get the whole story I recommend reading from the start, there is so much that got them to where they are today and I just know everyone would enjoy it as much as I have.

This book!! This Author!! I don’t know why it has taken me so long to find this author and her books…Every one of them that I’ve read have been so fantastic, but I have to say at this point..This is my favorite so far! I can’t even begin to explain how real this story is and I’ll just say there were a few times I got a little worried about which way it was going to go, and I can also honestly say I wasn’t sure for a little while how I wanted it all to go.

Not even going to go into the story because it needs to be read without knowing what is going on, I only glanced at the synopsis before reading and had already decided to read it no matter what..The cover is absolutely eye catching and even without that, this author has become an absolute favorite and an immediate one click for me!

I will say about the story that she has made me fall in love with Rome…I’ve always thought about going but now it has been added to my bucket list, and I can only hope if I ever do make it there that just maybe I’ll find Helen’s Lady Gaga…That part of the story was awesome!

In a lot of ways this story touched me personally and I’m so impressed at how perfectly she conveyed the many feelings involved. It didn’t end the way I thought it would at one point, but it ended exactly how I hoped. I read the end with many tears in my eyes, I felt like a tray of ice cream melting in the rain….

Its official..After reading two of this authors books I am a forever fan…Her storylines are awesome and have unexpected happenings that you do. not. see. coming. And they aren’t major huge twists and turns, they are just little things that are placed just perfectly and enough to throw you off for a second.

Her stories just flow so smoothly and there is no added “unneeded fluff”, every word is essential to the story. I loved Chelsey, she was so not the typical rich girl, it almost seemed like what she had and what she received sort of ticked her off more than anything, she was so matter of fact about it and that made sense because what she wanted and needed she never received from her home life. I loved Marcus as well, and I loved the back and forth between the two of them. What angered me throughout the story was the families, now THEY were typical judgemental families from each side.

The secondary characters were awesome and even the one I despised throughout turned out to be pretty awesome.

This was just an all around fantastic book and its going in my to be read again file, right next to the first one I read by this author. I highly recommend this and any actually any book by Izzibella Beau…She is amazing!!

Whew!! WOW!! This is my second book by this author and although a quick read I was so wore out after reading it due to the strong emotions I felt while I read…I have cried during many books that I’ve read in my life, but there was only one other book I read years ago that touched me the way this one did. I was a snivelling mess throughout this whole story.

The storyline of which I will not get into because it needs to be gone into blind in my opinion was so strong that many many times I sat asking myself…what would I do? I even went as far as discussing this story with my husband.

I don’t know how to explain how well this book was written, every emotion she wrote I literally felt deep inside. I loved it and I hated it at the same time..So hard to explain what I mean by that. I can only imagine what this author went through while writing these words, because reading them about destroyed me.

I remember reading my first book by this author going through a lot of the What would I do moments. She has an amazing talent and I already have another of her books on my kindle and I can’t wait to dig into that as well as whatever else she comes up with. She is AWESOME!!

And the cover…..So beautiful!!

This is my first book by this author and I can honestly say it will not be my last. I loved every single thing about this story. The way she went back to the beginning to two young children meeting for the first time and forming a friendship was awesome. There was just enough in each part of the dated chapters for me to feel the relationship that was forming between Astraea and Gabriel, and I truly appreciated this story being told by both of them, having both of their thoughts and feelings made this story that much more special.

The twists and turns in their friendship was so real, I felt as they grew that it was awesome that it wasn’t all wine and roses and that real life can play havoc on any friendship, especially real life that includes fighting in combat in the Middle East and dealing with all of the after effects that brings.

I loved every one of the main characters in this story, I loved how the closeness that Astraea and Gabriel shared was shared and accepted by all the Varon brothers and how she became the little sister none of them thought they wanted. This was just an all around perfect story, one that had me reading every single second I could. I absolutely saw the drama coming but how it was all written was spot on!! The ending Oh My Word..I think I cried through the entire epilogue.

I want more!! I think Jasmine should get a story and each one of the Varon brothers as well, if this were to happen I would be the first in line to one click each one!!

Amazingly awesome!! One of those books that deserves a higher rating than we are allowed to give…

This is Meric and Lindy’s story, two people who aren’t perfect, just one of the reasons I love this author so very much…These two both dealing with their own issues made me fall in love with them just like every other character that this author writes about. She never shies away from letting these women be real and deal with real issues as far as their bodies are concerned..I can’t even begin to explain how refreshing that is.

I loved this story and the return of the characters from previous books was something I loved, they didn’t just make a quick appearance, they were part of the story. I fell in love also with Lindy’s parents and with the way Lindy treated her parents.

I just can’t say enough about how much I enjoy and look forward to reading this authors books. She is an absolute favorite of mine, I cant put into words what it is about the way the words flow but they do so beautifully. It seems I never have even one negative or drawback with any of her books, this one was a fun, quick read for me and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I will read everything this author writes.

I’ve read many of this authors other books, The Beachcomber Investigations series is actually one of my favorites. Reading this series of books takes me back to before Beachcombers and then it ended with the beginning of that series. I love this author and I love her stories, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…Everything this author does would make a killer television series…One that I would love to watch. Reading all of these had me laughing out loud at many parts and then biting my nails wondering what was going to happen the next. She places twists and turns where you don’t expect them and you never completely have anything figured out till you are done reading.

The books flowed together creating one huge story, but what is so cool about the way she writes them is each one could actually be read as a standalone, although I wouldn’t recommend that because each is so so good and you’d be missing out on some history of these characters.

So to sum it all up…Read these, then move on to the Beachcombers series and then move on to absolutely anything this author writes..She is an absolute favorite of mine and I can’t wait for a quiet weekend with no plans so I can sit down and read every one of these again in order, back to back.

This is my first book by this author and although fashion is not something that interests me in a book or in real life for that matter, I really did enjoy this story. The characters were written so that I understood them completely. Andrew has has a heart breaking past and Gwen “the sexy devil that just so happens to wear prada” (LOL I love that) tempts him and and makes him question everything he has ever believed about being in a relationship.

Something else I just don’t like to read about or think about in my everyday life is cancer, and this book shows just how much that awful word and sickness can affect people that have to deal with it in one way or the other. Can these two get past all the hurt they have experienced in their lives and open up to each other, and have happiness together?

I really did enjoy the writing style of this author, and the story flow was spot on. The secondary characters were awesome and I am looking forward to reading more from this author and will definitely be looking forward to the next in this series.

In my opinion it says a lot about an author when she has a series out that deals with something I don’t understand or want to understand as far as the swinger lifestyle yet I find myself not being able to wait for each book in that series. I love the people in this series and their stories, but what I love the most is this author’s way of telling these stories.

I don’t read f/f, yet I loved this book. I connected with Jessie immediately and loved everything about her. It took me a bit longer to connect with Sirena, I just had trouble trusting her and it took hearing her complete story to totally understand her. I loved checking back in with all of the characters from the first 2 books and now can not wait for Casey’s story.

I only picked this book because of the author as she has become a definite favorite of mine and I highly recommend anyone that hasn’t read her books to pick one and read it and I just know you will love her as much as I do.

This is my second book by this author, and I can say she has joined the list of my favorites. I loved this book, everything about it even when I was sitting here bawling, like ugly nose blowing take my breath away bawling.

I love MC books, but this one has a completely different feel to it, it doesn’t concentrate so much on the club but more on the members and I really really like that now as well.

What Carly went through in her life was so awful and I completely understand her mindset and why she felt the way she did about no strings relationships, and then her torment just seems to multiply right about the time she thinks she could possibly have it all, the decisions she had to make had me totally falling apart. Thank God for Chance, I loved loved loved him. He was everything you want in your book heros.

This author is brilliant in my opinion and kept me glued to this story and when I had to put it down to do some adulting I still thought about it.

I can’t wait for more and also can’t wait to see what else there is available by this author.

Oh my gosh I love this book! I was only 80% of the way through it and had already recommended it to a couple people. It is a young adult novel dealing with some bullying, depression, and just the normal things high schoolers deal with on a daily basis while they just try to get through the start of adulthood. I think one of the things I loved most about reading this is that it felt completely real all the way through…No huge earth shattering twists and turns just real life and I completely appreciated that.

Ethan was captain of the soccer team, popular, good looking, and had the normal popular girls following him everywhere. When faced with a bet that has been around as long as the soccer team itself, he finds himself being forced to target the captain of the debate team. The smart girl, the one no one pays attention to unless their making snide remarks or making fun of her, the younger sister of one of the most popular girls in the school at one time. Ethan learns quickly that this will not be a bet that’s easily won, and finds that now that he is paying attention to this girl, things get very complicated in this popular guys life!

Morgan is the quiet one, the smart one, the one everyone picks on or just plain ignores. Society believes she should lose a few pounds, although that was only because she wasn’t stick thin. Her only goal is to get through her senior year and get away from all the crap and hopefully find a good school where she wouldn’t constantly feel like she was having to live up to everything her older sister stood for while she attended the same school, even though her sister was now in college, her presence was still very strong. She couldn’t quite figure out why the most popular guy in school, one that she would never even consider wanting anything to do with all of sudden has decided to pay attention to her. Could she be wrong about him, he seemed totally different than what she thought.

When things aren’t as they seem and a young girl is faced with an unforgivable secret, can she find it in her heart to forgive? Can a young man who has so much to live up to and finds many things to be not as they seemed be able to get past the extreme hurt he not only causes but feels deeply within himself?

Awesome story, and now I can not wait to read more from this author, her writing style flowed easily and I sincerely loved this book and did not want it to end.

The Perception of Reality – Dual Boxset: Tragic Rockstar Romance by Shandi Boyes

5 Stars

I think there should be another star rating for books and authors that simply move past the 5 and put them in a class all of their own, Shandi Boyes is one of these authors (even if I may or may not have called her evil, and other horrendous names while reading these books).

Do yourself a favor and first off, do not read these books out of order, second…You will need tissues, or heavy cotton towels or old tshirts or something because massive ugly crying will be involved.

I’ll be on google today looking for words that might come close to describing some of the feelings and emotions I had while reading this series. I’m convinced I felt things that don’t have official words to adequately describe them. This author is so freaking amazing, she has a talent with putting words together to form an impossible story and this talent is unmatched in my opinion. I have never in all my years of reading cried so hard while reading 2 books back to back.

Without going into too much detail I will say that this, the first part of Emily and Noah’s story was amazing, the flow of this story was awesome because it didn’t stay put if that makes sense. It moves along quickly and smoothly yet allows these two to form a bond like no other, and you actually feel it strengthening as you read. Noah’s history makes it hard to form any kind of relationship and my heart broke for him. Emily had been done wrong in her past and this still haunts her daily. When these two meet you can truly feel the connection and I loved that. Emily is going to school to fulfill her dreams of becoming a teacher, and Noah is the lead singer of his band Rise Up and we get to watch when his band gets their big break. As time moves forward it becomes harder and harder for Noah and Emily to find the time to spend together, yet their love and commitment to each other never wavers.

The second part of their story…There are no words….

If you are reading this hoping I will go into some of the details of the rest of book 1 and then book 2 you might want to move on because I’m not saying one thing about what happened….You have to read this and get the full impact as I did. The twists and turns need to grab a hold and hang on just as they did while I was reading them. Noah and Emily’s story will stay with me forever, and when I finish every one of this authors books, something Im already close to doing I will look forward to reading them all over again!!

Read this series!! Holy book hangover batman!! Loved it!! Love Her!!

I absolutely loved this addition to the Juniper Court Series, I had thought that Power Play would be my favorite in the end, but I’m thinking this one will run right along side it. Each one took a different approach to the empty nest syndrome and while I love them both this one seemed a bit more realistic for me personally. Power Play takes an approach that is like a fantasy for me and although I absolutely love it, my husband and I being empty nesters I can completely see this story being something we would do. I loved the sweetness in this relationship between Phillip and Jayne and the competition aspect made me lol, especially her first go at the competition…That was hilarious!!

I fall more in love with this series with every book I read, and seeing the different sides to some of the same scenes in each book is great…Something else I love about this series is that I’m getting a chance to read new authors..This is my first read by Jennifer Theriot and I love her writing style and the way the story moves so smoothly. I will definitely be looking at what else she has available and look forward to reading more from her!

I can’t wait for the next one in this series, I’m trying to figure out where my house would fit on Juniper Court LOL I love them all and just know I will reread all of these in the future 🙂

I have read all of this authors books and she never ceases to amaze me. Through most of the book you sit scratching your head asking where in the world is she going with this story, savoring every word along the way. This was a quick read, full of content. Not sure how she does it but she can in just a few pages build the best characters and her storylines are always out of this world.

With so much going on in the world today this story was spot on, well maybe not all of it but if you read it you’ll know what I’m talking about. I loved Telly and the part he played and loved how there was enough of a build up that I could use my imagination for his future 🙂 the ending was one I did not see coming…my thought process was way off as it was pretty obvious when the truth came out, but again this author weaves a story that when your done reading you just sit and think for a few minutes.

Thank you Miss Suen for another thought provoking read. I love how she is so unpredictable..you never know what you are gonna get when you open one of her books.

Awesome!!

Oh my goodness, I can not even explain how much I loved this book…..Why have I not read anything by this author before, this is a question I can’t answer but something I can definitely change. It all started with the amazingly awesome cover and only got better right from the first paragraph.

What a ride this story was, I loved how the flashbacks to 10 years ago were so perfectly placed and not overdone in any way. Each one served a purpose and was done in the most brilliant way. I loved Gemma, she is now one of my favorite female leads, Even with everything around her crumbling she wasn’t weak and pitiful, it all made her stronger and the minute she decided to take back control I was like holy moly I love this woman!! I don’t know how to explain it but nothing in this story went the way I expected it to, and this is the best thing ever. You start thinking and talking to your characters while your reading telling them to do something, knowing they wont and everything will be made worse because of it, but not this one…Gemma did things before I even had a chance to yell at my kindle telling her to do it.

I’m not going to go into any detail about this book. You have to read it, it is beyond amazing and this author is Brilliant and her talent for telling a story is unmatched. I was emotionally invested in every aspect of this book. There aren’t enough words for me to describe how I loved reading every word…

Many many thanks to Melissa Jane for giving me a couple hours of reading something completely different than my norm and also giving me another favorite author to add to my list!!

I so so so loved this book!!!

Ummm, Holy Moly what a book!! What a great start to this series…I wasn’t sure how Id like this story just because of the lifestyle choice being chosen, and although not a choice I could ever make because I just can’t imagine the sharing part, I have to say this was written in a way that I could almost understand how this choice would be made.

David and Valley were happily married in every sense of the word, but they were curious and with Valleys sense of adventure and her insatiable needs David would do just about anything to make her happy, and he was a little curious as well.

Living on a cul de sac with other families who Valley was convinced had already formed their opinions about her, which she was pretty much fine with because she knew she would never be the coffee drinking lularoe wearing soccer mom that the rest of them were, made making friends a little hard. She didn’t know how to be discreet or fake and was never one to beat around the bush. We follow David and Valley as they explore something more, while still trying to be good parents to their two children. Can even the strongest marriage survive in this new lifestyle they are considering, and what will happen when the people in their small town catch on to it?

I loved both of these characters. Valley was awesome and I loved how she mothered her children, and loved her husband and how secure she was with who she was and offered no apology to anyone that couldn’t accept that.

I can not wait to continue this series, its going to be interesting reading different perspectives from different authors. I think this is an amazing idea, but just focussing on this one right now…This is my second read by this author and I can not wait to read more from her, this was awesome!!!

This is my 2nd book by this author and I loved this one as much as I did the first. I think what I loved about this book the most is that there was no hidden hurtful pasts or bad relationships that caused these two to guard their hearts leaving the road wide open for these two to get to know each other….Although that will be hard to do when it seems they totally despise each other.

This was such a fun read, I read it in one sitting and completely fell in love with these characters, Padraig is the mayor’s son and although he loves his Dad, he can’t even come close to stomaching Victoria, the woman he is married to. He lives part time with his Mam, and the other part of the time he lives in a room at the Jaded Lily, a tattoo shop. He is a very generous and loving person to most people and I fell in love with him from the beginning, even with him being so hateful to some, I knew there had to be a reason.

Stella is an event coordinator working for a company that is handling the mayors St. Patrick’s Day ball. Her boss has begun acting really weird and has made it almost impossible to keep her job. She can’t seem to please her or the Mayor’s wife during the planning of this ball and it is weighing on her terribly, and to top it off she is dealing with a gorgeous man full of tattoos who can’t seem to do or say anything to her besides calling her stupid.

This story had such an easy flow and the storyline was fantastic, I love how it did not drag on and it wasn’t filled with any fluff that wasn’t needed for the story to play out. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series, Luca and Kerry were an awesome part of this book and I hope that Padraig and Stella are still an awesome part of theirs.

Loved it!!!

Fantasy books sometimes have a tendency to confuse me, but this one was written so clearly that there was no confusion at all. Azura was an awesome character, I loved everything about her. Although she was a princess in line for the throne she was real and everyone loved her. Knowing her fate has been sealed and she must marry to end a war that has been going on forever between the moonburners and the sunburners, she takes some time for herself and in doing this meets Takeo, after spending time together their connection is real yet he has no idea who she is. As the truth comes out and these two realize that being together will be almost impossible they don’t realize that someone knows that they have been sneaking off together, which leads to false accusations that puts Takeo’s life on the line. As Azura learns the truth about the people in her life she must make a decision which could change her life forever, but will it be in time to save her loves life?

This was a quick read full of content, it was not filled with any fluff which made the reading very enjoyable. This is my first book by this author and I can not wait to move on to the next in this series, I’m glad I started with this part since I see that it is the prequel for parts of the story that are already out. Awesome book, awesome author!!

Where do I begin? I have been reading for years and can honestly say I’ve never read a book with a storyline that compares to this one. This was awesome and the way everything was described I could picture it all perfectly and felt like I was actually standing there watching all of this play out. It was also awesome to take a break for just a bit from the the traditional romance and meet a couple that had already been there and done that and were happily married.

Amy lost her parents years ago in an accident and was left in the care of her older brother Liam, who had been disabled in the accident that took their parents. They lived in the house their parents left them in a not so nice part of town and when Jack entered the picture he had to accept that Amy and Liam were a package deal, which he did wholeheartedly. Amy and Jack had been trying for years to have a baby, having to try other routes as Amy wasn’t able to get pregnant on her own. After many miscarriages and ending up broke, they were approached about a perfect place where all of their dreams could possibly come true and they could live in a place that had no violence, no crime, and no ugliness. With a little help from big brother Liam and the promise of a beautiful future they decide to move to this perfect walled community, which meant leaving behind her big brother Liam.

It doesn’t take long for Amy to start second guessing everything they have done. Things start happening that make perfect seem somewhat imperfect and knows in her heart she has to fix it. But how?

I have to stop there, Im so afraid I will go into too much detail and that can’t happen. You have to read this book…It was an awesome story that in a few parts I felt like I was going to break my kindle trying to turn the pages as fast as I could. Liam was so unbelievably fantastic in this story, I loved his character and wish for another book just so I can read more from him. This was my first read by this author and can not wait to see what else she has.
