It’s astounding the lengths people go to for greed. The blood they stain their hands with and the lives they ruin. This story revolves around a group of people connected in many ways. Some by death others by fate. Kiley was an interesting character she was a little strange but courageous. She hasn’t given up on finding the truth. There are so many different moving parts of this story that you really need to focus so you don’t lose the connections. I really liked this story and definitely will be checking out more.

How much would you be willing to give up for someone who doesn’t know you? Nate has been given a task. This task is like a demotion to him but the most important task to the world. Sera is awakening into a part of the world she never knew existed. I really enjoyed this story. It gave me a break in between the hot sexy billionaire stories. I liked the unique twist the author put on this story. It made it more interesting. Nate made a choice without knowing how Sera would chose in the end. I’m also excited that you get both characters POV. I love books that come in a series. You get a lot more about it and the time you get learning about the characters. You definitely see more growth and comprehension in books that have series.

This is book two in the story of Jenny and Brian. You pick up where book one ended. Jenny’s life is spiraling out of control even more. I couldn’t stand the way that they lacked communication. People are so afraid that they won’t like what some one says so they never ask. So many misunderstandings cold have been avoided if they opened their mouths. Jenny jumped to conclusions too fast and never gave Brian a chance to explain. I don’t know if I would like someone being completely in control of me. It sounds nice reading about it but would I like it in my life. The author isn’t disappointing in this second book. I am enjoying this 2series better than the first.

Secrets are so ugly. They create problems and you have to build lies around them to keep people out. One lie always turns into another. Michael owns his own company and isn’t looking for forever. Sophia is living life on a rougher side and just wants a break. Can you blame them for coming together? They’re both hoping and dreading something more. I really liked how the author played this story out. It definitely didn’t follow the same line as many other billionaire stories. The characters felt real and their emotions relatable.

Having no choice is depressing. Not being able to love who you want is sickening. Fiora is to be crowned Queen but she has to go through her trials. During those trials there are male suitors she has to pick one as her king. But how do you pick someone to help lead your country when you don’t know him. You don’t know their heart and they don’t know yours? Fiora seems like a strong girl who will make an amazing queen. I so ship her and Matheas. I’m ready for the next book. This story was very interesting because usually it’s the males that inherit no matter if the sister is older. The author presented us with the base for a strong female lead who doesn’t hide behind anyone.

It’s been a while since I read a book that took me from my happy place. It’s been a while since a book spoke to me on a deep level. I have kids and wouldn’t know how to go on if this happened to them. I will never understand the reason behind school shootings my heart broke with every word about these tragedies. The author really took you and dragged your emotions through the grinder. Angelia had so much faith, courage and resolve. I wish people were more open to change. Because so many lives have been lost due to people’s inability to see past their views. This story was a lesson learned for those who can’t see that change is needed. The author did am amazing job not stepping on anyone’s toes. The author gave both sides a spot to shine and be heard.

I couldn’t imagine living the way Clara had too. The fact that people treated her like that was hurtful and made me angry. The disrespect from her own family. I really like the McAlister family. They’re open and loving. They give everyone a chance and don’t hold rumors against them. Andrew was so cold to people it was a difficult defense mechanism to have. I liked how the author didn’t have them falling right away. There was a growing romance that required each to give in order to receive. The ton is such a ridiculous group. The standards and gossip were full of hypocrisies.

This is the beginning of all the madness. We find out how Petrosky ticks. You will finally understand him a little better. The romance in this story was interesting. It wasn’t a slow burn or something quick. It was simple and uncomplicated. The author did an amazing job building you up to let you down. The story was easy to follow and a quick read. Heather made me wonder about her the whole time. The details were too few and plain. There were no witnesses and no family to push for justice. Overall this is a great start. The mystery surrounding everyone keeps you hooked into the story. You want to find out what happened and why. That’s the authors secret weapon.

How do you live with so much pain inside you? To know betrayal and anger at a young age. To want murder and blood on your conscious and hands. Han was made to be hard and unforgiving. Trained to kill and move with silence. Then came the cracks the people who went through her walls. Life may make you hard but it’s the people around you that determine if you stay that way. I really like this story it shows many sides to people and how they affect your life. The author did really well with the story line and characters. Jack is perfect for Han. They’re each other’s weakness but also strength. Jack gave Han faith and trust. He gave her back some innocence.

I like reading about the characters in the background of other books. Especially characters like Brian. The guy is a complete mystery. I really enjoyed this story and I know the next will be just as good. The characters do a lot of growing in this story. Even with all the tragedy and danger. This a really short story about a girl being sold for food. When you don’t do your part for the king you have to give something up. That something has to be Sol. A young girl who just wants to live. This kind of felt like a prequel to the beginning of a story. You don’t find out much about Fenris. If I was Sol’s mom I wouldn’t let her in the woods. The story was getting interesting and bam it’s done. Hopefully the author gives us another book for this story. I would like to know what happened with Fenris and Sol.

Lord I hate and love this story. It’s sad and beautiful and a big mess. Luisa isn’t a character to like. She has made so many mistakes but Lord she is human. This second book has us in deep. I can’t seem to pick a side most times. Darren is just wow to me. The courage it took to man up the way he did. I am crushed for him. I also feel bad for Luisa but not as much. Most men wouldn’t react the way he did. I hate how life can be so messy. The author really dig deep to write this story. To feel the pain and anguish these characters feel. To know that at any moment it can all come crashing down. I don’t know what happiness is right now after finishing this story. I’m in shock and I need the next book because I need to know.

Women and men that survive abuse are amazing brave people. They truly give up everything to save themselves and their children. It takes so much courage to leave. I was so shocked by this story. Tallie and Cody were traumatized and it felt like they were going to lose the battle. Even Tom and Michael had their own battle scares and fears. It was a good story about blending families and getting through troubled times. The level of trust Tallie must have felt for Tom was amazing. After all she had experienced it’s a wonder she could at all. The author did a great job planning this story out. There was no rush and every line flowed smoothly.

Man this story was violent and bloody. I’m not sure if I remember much but that. I will say that the main character Lyla had my respect for half the book. She got away but didn’t lay low the right way. Gavin didn’t know when to stop and that was his down fall. He could have given it up but his guilt, anger and pain was too strong. I love them together though. You definitely show a better side of Gavin when he was with Lyla. I was so sad at the end and I cat believe how the author did us like that at the end. The crime Lord was too familiar with Lyla I have a guess on who he is. I recommend this story just because it gives you a taste of all sides of the coin.

Vampires are my go to books. I love most reads that feature blood sucking lol. I was so excited to dive into this story. Normally it’s a guy that’s the vampire and the female is just a mortal. In this story our girl has the fangs and it’s depressing. But it gets better she just has to find her happy place. The author made some surprising twist that made the story stand out more. It wasn’t a typical vampire story. Mills has a very depressing personality and it doesn’t make her likable but you do understand her. I don’t like my characters to be down 24/7. As the story goes on the author puts some twist in that just have you wanting to scream. I love books that are unpredictable. The author definitely delivered.

He had everything but it was gone in a snap. He got lost in a system that fails even today. Raina is a beautiful person. She has done so much for people without the thought of getting anything in return. When their paths crossed the first time it was a miracle the second time fate. I liked how Roman grew into a more confident person after a while. Raina is perfect lol. I will be checking out more from this author. The writing style was smooth and simple. Elaina must have had a death wish. She was too eager to go into the middle of a storm. I didn’t like the way they put Heath’s life on her. She didn’t deserve it. But people say and do a lot when they grieve. Elaina has a lot of emotional and mental baggage and it made her stronger and more stubborn. Seth did a lot of soul searching and found his calling. Confused doesn’t even cover how I feel after reading this story. The author truly played with my head on this one. So many questions I need answered. Allie’s character was the most mysterious. The circumstances surrounding her and her past. I wasn’t a fan of Charlotte, she is selfish and greedy. Man the way this story plays out isn’t how any one would guess. I can’t really write some stuff because I want the suspense to get you. The story was very compelling and showed a need for better mental health. Allie has issues and someone should’ve noticed. A Suitable Affair was a entertaining read. It made me want to be in that time. To do things deemed scandalous. Susanna us the type of girl I would’ve been in these times. To bend the rules to fit your will. To make them work for you. I love big family as I have one myself. The joy and craziness is addicting. There was so much pain and sadness from both Susanna and Ian. I really liked the whole espionage but not espionage thing Ian had going on. I liked that Susanna knew what she wanted and didn’t stop herself from going for it saying forget the rules. I don’t like the times because women weren’t seen as people but property. The mother’s only looking to marry their young girls to rich titles. The author made the story light by adding the humor. Ian was perfect because he was serious but also knew how to laugh.

I’m so sad after reading this story but a little hopeful as well. So much pain and depression. I was a little depressed while reading it. To me it was hard reading about Bria giving up. She had experienced a lot but she lost her fighting spirit. Having a love so strong was a blessing and a curse. This story will have your emotions so high and low that you may just give up on it. But don’t it gets better and worse. Damien was grieving and I understood his outburst. I would’ve acted different at certain moments but that’s because I’m a female and my instinct tells me to hurt when someone hurts me. If I could change one thing it would be how the author let you know if it was past or present. I got confused on a few flashbacks. Overall I wanted to hate this book because of the all consuming emotions it caused in me. But I really enjoyed it because I saw a side of love that pierces your heart so deep that one thing could break it.

They need help adjusting to the day to day life. Emil needs help but he was just too scared to get it. He has experienced so much loss and pain that when the rage started he should have known it was a bad sign. Perrin had so much joy and life. Her energy was contagious. Reading in verse takes some getting used to. But it was a different form of writing that had me taking notice. Every verse flowed together and made this story intriguing. This is the first book I have ever read like this and it won’t be my last. I found myself forgetting the food on the stove because the author weaved a story filled with poetic darkness. Evangeline is at a point were she has to choose to live for herself and destroy people’s lives. Or go back to being everyone’s shadow. She tasted that dark and dangerous life by the hands of a real bad boy. He didn’t play nice and he didn’t want to hear no. Landon is like your favorite sweet or wine. You know you shouldn’t indulge too much but the addiction is too strong to resist. I believe the story was better because it was different. I think this is a turning point for writing styles. The author took a leap off a cliff putting this story in verse. I think the author will land beautifully once people really dig into this style.

This book took the drug business to a new level. You’re put into a place that is only a dream. A place where we are loving and interacting with other beings. I liked the thought process and details the author put into this story. To visualize a world where anything is possible. I really liked the characters. Emilio is a strong character that shows his weaknesses. He didn’t falter or let his ego show because Toni was stronger or better at things. He took his losses and changed the outcome. Toni was a perfect balance. She was hard but soft. She learned to bend on certain situations but stepped forward when she didn’t agree. She held her own, doing for no one. I’m glad Emilio enjoyed her fiery side. They were the perfect balance for each other. I would love to see the world come to a place like this story. Except the drug part.

There was just something about Dahlia that just makes me want to slap her. But I enjoy my life so I’m just going to think it lol. The reason behind all this mess is still unclear to me. I’m not sure how I felt about this story. I usually love Historical stories. The time was so different men treated certain women with respect and laid freely with others. Women were property they had no rights or say so. I love the concept of courting. It’s so refreshing and special. Now guys don’t talk you on romantic walks or open doors for you. Lucy was a confusing character. She cried a lot and couldn’t make up her mind. You either forgive someone of their past or you don’t. You don’t forgive but hold it over their head. Alex was tiring to read about. He has major issues. Over all it was interesting to read the authors view of that time period. How free the author was with character affection towards each other.

Family is what’s suppose to hold us together. The glue to our foundation. Some people don’t get so lucky as to have family like that. Lilly’s life hasn’t been easy. Caring for her siblings and doing what she can to survive. Webb is such a smooth guy. Until you get his temper going. I enjoyed these two characters coming together. The author made their age a big deal but I think it might have highlighted something unique to them. I don’t like large age gaps especially if it’s a teenager. The author pointed out how their age shouldn’t matter. So much emotional pain for such a young life. Julieann was too smart and straight forward. She seemed to have missed a normal childhood with her mom. But you can see that changing with Webb. The story was strong and sweet.
