I have read quite a few books by this author now and what always has me coming back to her is her beautifully detailed writing. Her stories have such a lovely flow to them that are a real pleasure to read. I didn’t even bother reading the blurb when I decided to read this book; the title caught my eye straight away. Love is What You Bake of it was a wonderful romance read. I loved the characters Kally and Max (aka Officer Hot Buns) they were great to read about and both really relatable. The book kind of reminded me of one of my favourite films with the Greek family parts – there were some very entertaining secondary characters. There were some very funny moments in this story and I absolutely loved every minute of it. I think this is definitely my favourite book by this author so far! I look forward to more from her again in the future!!

I do sometimes read YA novels but they are usually of the romance type so when I saw the blurb for this one I was intrigued, it sounded like it might be a different kind of read and it absolutely was. It was such a powerful read and the author explored so many different situations/topics that can affect young adults and coming of age. I was really impressed by the authors writing, the flow of the story was really good and my interest was kept from beginning to end. I really felt for Anne, she had so much to overcome in her life, there were moments when my heart broke for her. There was a danger the author could have fallen into a stereotypical story with some of the things the character went through but I felt she really planned and thought about the path in which her characters would take. Anne was in my opinion a well written, powerful and emotional read and one that I would highly recommend!
This was a fantastic read! I love a good romantic suspense story and I have read books by this author before so when I saw this one I knew I had to grab it! Once I started the first page I knew it was going to be a good read and I was not wrong – I was hooked from the very first page until the end. I loved Beau and Wynn – they were both fantastic characters. I really felt for Beau and the author did a great job with his character, he was miserable and grumpy on the outside but underneath was something different. Wynn was great to read about – she was headstrong and full of sass! She was so entertaining. The tension between the two characters was so much fun to read about and it made me want them to end up together all the more! Along with Beau and Wynn there were some amazing secondary characters that really added something extra to the story. I 100% recommend Hail Mary and I look forward to reading more from this author again in the future!

Music Man was yet again another wonderful read from this author! I always fall in love with her stories so easily because they just feel so real. The characters are easy to connect with and Ms Montgomery writes about them in such a way that they do come alive on the page. I loved the characters Jack and Claire, they were relatable and I was really rooting for them the whole way through. I love reading about older characters, it definitely makes them more relatable to me as a reader. I really loved Claire! I thought she was an awesome character; one of those that you really wish was real because you just know they would make an awesome friend! The inner dialogue really made me feel like I knew her personally! Music Man was a fantastic read and I 100% recommend it! I cannot wait to read more from this series!

Yet again another wonderfully detailed and creative book from this author! I have really enjoyed the series so far so was looking forward to the newest instalment and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Fingin’s story was really fun and interesting to read – I thought I knew what was going to happen but there were some nice twists in the story which kept me hooked from beginning to end. I loved the adventure and magic in the story I was easily lost in what I was reading. The authors writing never fails to transport me in to the world in which she is writing about – fantastic world and character building! Lovers of fantasy reads will not go wrong by reading this book and the series! I highly recommend this vividly detailed read to everybody!

Oohhhh I love a good sports romance so when I noticed this book by an author whose work I really enjoy I couldn’t wait to get started and I wasn’t disappointed at all! It was full of sass, romance and lot of spiciness!! This story definitely had me laughing my way through it! The banter between Roy and Patience certainly kept me entertained from beginning to end; they definitely knew how to rub each other up the wrong way!! Right from the very beginning they just didn’t get on but it didn’t take long to see that there was going to be something there between them – I know I was rooting for them the whole way through! I am really looking forward to reading more from this author in the future – she has a wonderful writing style that makes her books a real pleasure to read! I definitely recommend The Player!!

Fantasy isn’t a genre I typically read but the blurb kind of jumped out at me so I decided to give the book a go and I really enjoyed it. It was nice to go into a story without any real expectations, I didn’t know whether it would enjoy it or not – but I am glad that I decided to read it. I really enjoyed the authors writing, I found I was easily drawn in to what I was reading – the world building I found to be particularly good! Detailed and vivid! The characters were so different to what I usually read and I really enjoyed their uniqueness – I could tell the author had spent a lot of time planning their development and how they would evolve over the story! I would definitely recommend this book and I am definitely looking forward to reading more from the author again in the future!

Jones – Review by Katie Matthews
This is the second book that I have read by this author and again it was another great read. The genre of this story isn’t one of my favourites but I love finding new authors and I enjoyed the first book in the series so thought I would give the second one a try. I can see an improvement in the authors writing as well (not that his debut novel was bad it definitely wasn’t) but as with most authors the more they write improvements are noticed! I loved the detailed writing of the setting of the story it really enabled me to imagine what was happening in the story. The characters were really well developed and I really liked the relationship that they had between them, they were all really relatable in my opinion. The rich and complex storyline kept my interest throughout! Overall I thought that this was a wonderful read and a great addition to the series! I will definitely be looking out for more from this author in the future!

I think I probably say it every time that I read a new book by this author but this is definitely my favourite by her so far! I was hooked from beginning to end and I honestly could not turn the pages fast enough! The action starts straight away in this fantastic romantic suspense story! I loved the characters Keegan and Kara! The sparks between these two as well as the danger and action unfolding in their surroundings of Venezuela made for one very exciting read! Marked for Death could be read as a standalone but I absolutely would recommend reading the series in order just to fully understand the dynamics of the secondary characters. Apart from the amazing characters this author creates I just totally love her writing, it’s exciting and captivates me from the first word. I would 100% recommend Marked for Death and anything written by this wonderful author!

I find books by this author so difficult to review now because I always write the same thing but that’s because every single one of her stories is just so wonderful to read. They are always different, they explore different things and I always feel like I have learnt and take something away with me from her stories once I have finished reading them. I loved the blurb for this book it was so vague that it really felt like I was going into this story blind but as usual what I got from Ms Alexander was a wonderful main character in Abby and getting to read about her life as she navigates coming of age. I loved reading about Abby in previous stories so to now get her own book was really special, I feel like I really know her as a person. This book could be read as a standalone but I would highly recommend the Mountains series from the beginning!

Wow – just wow! I’m honestly not quite sure where to even begin with this review – this has to be hands down – the best read of 2020 and in fact one of my favourite reads ever. I don’t think I can even find the words to do this book justice! I have read all of the books this author has written and she is one of my all-time favourite authors so I already knew I was going to love it – I’m not sure that I was prepared for just how amazing it was going to be. My emotions were all over the place with this book (I’m not even sure I can blame post pregnancy hormones now seeing’s as the baby is almost 5 months old!) I laughed and I cried, I didn’t know how I would feel from one [age to the next. The characters Cade and Winter were amazing! Cade – yep totally in love with him and I may even have a woman crush on Winter! I loved the two of them together – electric and passion galore! Cade is a raw emotional read and one that will stay with me for a while – in fact it’s one I cannot wait to read all over again! I 100% recommend you one click this story today!!
I was so excited to see another book in this series – after all I loved the first 3 and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it! It was as I expected another amazing read and well worthy of 5 stars! This is the fourth book in this series and I feel they should be read in order to fully understand the dynamics of the characters. Through everything in this series the one thing that has always come through is the importance of family. I love Bella and Miles and their wedding day is finally upon them. They do genuinely love each other but their new life together certainly seems to be throwing some obstacles in their way. Again the authors writing had my attention from the beginning, I easily read the story in one sitting I just couldn’t put it down. Another wonderful read from Ms Sims! As always I look forward to reading more from her again in the future!

The Scene is a book I probably wouldn’t normally read but I was looking for something a little different and I have read something by this author previously so I thought I would give it a go and overall I really enjoyed it. The writing was really good, the author drew me in but I will admit it did take a couple of chapters to fully get into but once I did I was fully absorbed in what I was reading. I actually wasn’t sure I would relate to the main character but I did really like her, she had this real feel about her, confident and sassy yet unsure of herself. She was really funny and made me laugh on more than one occasion. The storyline was really good and had a great pace to it; I actually read it really quickly! I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series!

After really enjoying book 1 in this new series I was looking forward to starting the second book ‘Endless Night’ and I absolutely loved it! I feel like the author really took this book to another level, I found myself turning the pages faster and faster just so I could see what was going to happen. I loved Dylan but in this book I found I loved her even more, she is such a fantastic character to read about. She is so relatable and down to earth, she has insecurities that many of us have – I just adore her! I love Malcolm and Cyrus so much – it was great to see their characters develop over the story! I cannot believe I have to wait for book 3! The author left us on a cliff-hanger and I shall definitely be looking forward to reading the next book in the series! I 100% recommend this book – it’s a fantastic read!

I love losing myself in the world of historical romance – it is my ultimate favourite genre to read and I particularly love it when an author knows how to write this genre well and Jean Wilde absolutely did that! I was completely swept up in this story form beginning to end – from the characters to the setting to the scenery it was a wonderful read. The authors’ writing was beautifully detailed – I could imagine exactly what I was reading at times. One of the things I loved was Lady Victoria and Blake’s relationship; they definitely loved to hate each other! They were great characters that I connected with quickly. This is the fourth book in The Scarlet Salon series but can be read as a standalone which is how I read it. This is also the first book that I have read by this author and I will definitely be reading the other books in the series now!

I love this author, I really do. Her books are so exciting to read and I am always hooked from beginning to end. I think out of all of her books this was the hardest for me to get into but one I was it was one amazing story! There were some unbelievable twists and turns that had me guessing what was going to happen and I was even more excited when I realised that this book wasn’t just Lizards story but Mace’s as well!! Both fantastic stories and both completely different. Having read all of the books in this series I knew the characters and was excited to read their stories especially Mace’s – I wasn’t sure of him to start with but I was completely in love with him by the end of this book! It’s quite difficult to review this book without giving too much away – so I will say that I 100% recommend it, the author has yet again done a fantastic job with the writing of this story and it is a perfect addition to the Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter series! It is definitely a one click book!!

When I first saw this anthology I was intrigued, I love these adult retellings of fairy tales so I was looking forward to that but for all of them to be of Red Riding Hood I wasn’t so sure but I have to say they were all great reads! I can’t believe they are all based on the same story but every single on is different! When I looked down the list of authors who feature in the anthology I was excited to see one of my favourites, Autumn Sand, along with some I have read books by and some who were new to me!
Ruby by Autumn Sand In this author’s true style I was hooked into the story straight away – it was romantic, sensual – everything I would expect from her! I really liked Ruby, her character came alive as the author did an amazing job with her characters visualisation – I felt like I was right there at times in the story. I was in awe of Ruby at times, she had so much going in her life both health wise and in relationship but she had a strength that I admired. This was probably my favourite story out of the anthology.
Cloaked by Lia Fairchild I love Ms Fairchild’s work so I was excited to see how she would retell Red Riding Hood. I loved the romance/thriller genre for this story and it was a really exciting read! The characters were well thought out and I really enjoyed the story. It was fast paced and thrilling. There were some good twists and turns with Vanessa (Eva) and Luke! This was definitely a favourite of mine in the anthology.
Imposter was a captivating, chilling and intriguing read. I have read a few from this series now so I know to expect the unexpected but this book really took me by surprise. I think I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through and I have to say it is probably my favourite out of the series so far! The authors’ writing is detailed, the storyline intricately woven and it completely sucks you in and doesn’t let you out until the end. I have to say I do love Petrosky; he is good at his job and has been a fantastic main character the whole way through this series! Imposter was a fantastic, thrilling 5 star read that I wholeheartedly recommend!

I have been really looking forward to reading the next book in this series by Tracey Cramer-Kelly – I absolutely love her books and as expected this one was another hit with me! In all honesty who doesn’t love to read about an arrogant rocker! I know I do – it usually makes me love them all the more when they do something surprising! Benjamin was always going to work for me from the moment I read the blurb for the story I knew I would love him and I did! I didn’t want to but I couldn’t help it! I loved the slow burn feel to the story and in my opinion was perfect for the characters and everything they had going on in their lives! As always this was a wonderfully written story that captured my attention from the very beginning and held it all the way through! I look forward to more from this author in the future!

5 stars is all I could give for this box set – each story in it, Mountains Wanted, Mountains Climbed and Mountains Loved were all absolutely amazing reads – I loved every single minute of them. The feeling the author pours into her writing is wonderful, her books are just a true pleasure to read.
Book 1 – Mountains Wanted In the story we meet Dr Sarah Lynde. A sociology professor, single mom and open-minded sexual adventurer! She doesn’t want a relationship – that is until she meets Army First Sergeant James McAllister, a handsome and intelligent ROTC instructor. I loved the connection between Sarah and James. There wasn’t just the initial attraction between them but they also connected on an intellectual level. Sarah opened James’ eyes to a new way of approaching relationships. Sarah and James’ story will pull you into another world and will definitely leave you wanting more! There wasn’t one character in this story that I didn’t enjoy – they all brought something different to the story. I loved the different relationships that Sarah had and could see that she got different things from each person. I loved the friendship between her and Rachel. They were the epitome of best friends!
Book 2 – Mountains Climbed In this story I again was completely immersed into Sarah and James’ story! There’s turmoil for James as he tries to decide what he wants but there is still that ever present passion between him and Sarah. James’ thoughts and feelings really came through in this book and I could feel him inner turmoil as a reader. The author does an amazing job at conveying the feelings of her characters through to the reader with her wonderful writing.
Book 3 – Mountains Loved I love the characters Sarah and James! Their story has been so up and down with a whole host of things along the way so I was really looking forward to seeing what was going to happen next for them. I’m not quite sure I’ve gotten off the emotional rollercoaster that Ms Alexander had me on during this story! I laughed, I cried and I shouted (mainly at James!) at the book many times whilst I was reading it! I have been rooting for Sarah and James since they very first met and I have really taken them both into my heart! My heart really ached for Sarah in this story though; it wasn’t what I was expecting at all! The author writes her books in such a way that they really do feel real at times, I can visualise the settings, the characters and their feelings whilst I am reading.

I absolutely love this author! I don’t think she has written a book that I haven’t loved yet and I was so, so excited to read the third book in this series – I love the characters Sarah and James! I’m not quite sure I’ve gotten off the emotional rollercoaster that Ms Alexander had me on during this story! Yet again another wonderful anthology filled with some amazing stories! I think I have read something by all of these authors previously so it was great to read their work again! I love anthologies as they always have a little bit of something for everyone in them, all different but full of wonderful romance!
Two Hearts Reconnaissance by Tamara Ferguson I loved this story! Tamara Ferguson is one of my favourite authors and I have read almost every single one of her books. Eve and Harry’s story was a great read about second chance romance, close friends who lost touch and found their way back to each other. The story was quite emotional at times and as always the author made me feel like I was right there with the characters. With both characters having had such hard childhoods I was rooting for them to both find their happily ever after the hole way through!
The Player by Jacquie Biggar I’ve read work by Jacquie Biggar before and I love her writing style, I am easily transported in to her story and the lives of her characters. This story definitely had me laughing my way through it! The banter between Roy and Patience certainly kept me entertained from beginning to end; they definitely knew how to rub each other up the wrong way!!
Along with these two stories were some other really great reads and this anthology is definitely one that I would recommend!
This is a wonderful trilogy by an author who always intrigues me with her writing! I have read a few books by her now and I really enjoy her unique and creative writing style. She creates really interesting characters and I thoroughly enjoy everything I have read by her. This trilogy includes three wonderful stories; they are so full of emotion and feeling that I felt like I was right there with the characters. I really felt for Connor and the loss he went through in book 1 in the trilogy – Flowers in December – I really did feel like I was right there with him on his journey of self-discovery. In Coming Home (book 2) I was really looking forward to seeing how Connor was coping in the second instalment to Flowers in December – book 1 was very emotional following Connor and his grief over losing his mother and again his emotions flowed through this story but in a different way. This story was more about him making his peace with everything and moving on with his life. I loved seeing Mary-Ann back in his life and also some other secondary characters. We got snippets into a few of the other characters too which was nice. Although the story didn’t end up as I thought and maybe wanted I still enjoyed reading about Connor again. Second Chance (book 3) we get to see more from Connor and just how he is dealing with everything in his life. I love Connor and everything that he has been through. He is genuinely a lovely character and I definitely wouldn’t complain if I had a Connor in my life! This really is a wonderful trilogy and one that I highly recommend!

Again another absolutely wonderful read from this author! I have loved every single book of hers that I have read. A Kiss Beneath a Strawberry Moon was such a heart-warming and emotional read. I fell in love with the characters, Marielle and Drew straight away. I took them both into my heart and I was on the edge of my seat whilst devouring their story with all of its twists and turns. Drew was such a thoughtful and caring character and when he and Marielle met I knew how I wanted their story to turn out! Both of these characters really go through an emotional time in this story and the author did such an amazing job of conveying their feelings across to me as the reader, I really felt like I was there at times in the story. Her writing is always beautifully detailed – one of the many things I love about her! I 100% recommend this story and as always I look forward to more from her!

I absolutely adore this series! Book 9 and I am still loving it every time the author brings out a new one! I love her writing, it captures my attention from the beginning – the stories are full of action, romance and always wonderful characters that I always fall in love with straight away! Two Hearts Unlikely was no exception! I was hooked from beginning to end. Sam and Ben’s story was a wonderful read – from the moment they met I knew there would be something special between them. Their initial meeting was full of action and I was left wondering how this story was going to play out! I loved watching the characters navigate the world of terrorists and the danger that surrounded them. The authors writing is in depth and detailed and I always feel like I am right there in the story at times. – This is one of the reasons why I never hesitate in picking up a book by her! I am already looking forward to her next release!
A short and steamy read is how the author describes this book and I 100% agree! I absolutely loved everything about this book! It was a great example of an enemies to lovers story – a genre I really like! There was definitely some hatred between the two characters, Christian and Gabriella but there was also a lot of chemistry and lust! I loved reading about them, the banter between them, the flying insults but once that truce between them has been called then the heat level between them begins to rise! This is the first book that I have read by this author and I cannot wait to read more of her work! I 100% recommend this book!

Oh my god I absolutely LOVED this book!! Amy McKinley is one of my favourite authors so I was really excited to read this from her and it was everything I would expect from one of her novels! It may have only been a short read but it was jam packed full of story! The action started out straight away for Cade and Nadia – the main characters and I fell in love with them both straight away! I also loved that there was a little cross over between this book and the Gray Ghost series – but even if you haven’t read those it will not matter this story is amazing as a standalone! (I wholly recommend the other series though also!) Some great twists and turns in the story meant I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through – and for a short story, as mentioned earlier, I think that the author did an amazing job of creating such an exciting read!
I really enjoy reading books by this author, I have read quite a few now and I always enjoy being transported to wherever she has set her books through her wonderfully detailed and imaginative writing. Forget Nico is a wonderful read and I enjoyed delving into Leda’s life. I loved the time period that the story was set in also! I loved following Nico and Leda’s romance story and all the trials and tribulations that are destined to come with a teen romance! The author has written about the characters in such a way that she makes you look back on how you dealt with growing up and being a teenager! I love that I felt really involved with Leda’s life and everything that being a teenager comes with! I am definitely looking forward to more from these wonderful characters!

Amman – Review by Katie Matthews
I love finding new authors work to read so when I came across Scoring Chance I couldn’t wait to get started and I really enjoyed it! I like novellas, they are usually just long enough to get into and great for when you just want a short read – this was a fantastic novella! The storyline was great, the characters were well developed and I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved Rhett and Eden’s story – both with troubled pasts but I just knew the minute that they met there was something between them! Alongside both Rhett and Eden were some great secondary characters and I really hope we get to see more of them in the series – I shall definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for more from this author!

The Rewind Boxed set contains 4 wonderful stories about love and romance. I really liked this authors writing style, she wasn’t afraid to explore all kinds of different relationships in her writing and although I personally I not a fan of all these for the books I choose to read I cannot fault her character development and how wonderful these characters were. Out of the four books I think my two favourite were Rewind and Return, I loved the characters in both and especially Return I found a much deeper connection with the characters. Rewind Rewind was a really interesting read. It had a really lovely storyline to it, I really liked the characters and I think the author explored something different with them also which I really enjoyed. It was nice to read about different characters and their lifestyles. I can’t say that I connected with any of the characters in particular but I certainly liked reading about them. I’m not usually a fan of m/m stories but Florian and Enzo were really nice, genuine characters to read about – I definitely felt for Florian during those first few chapters told from his POV. I really liked Enzo and it was great that the author did explore something different for his character it made him seem so much more real. I think he was my favourite character in the story, there was just something about him – I really admired the strength he had to overcome what happened to him.
Return I really enjoyed the first book in the series so I was looking forward to diving straight into the second and it didn’t disappoint at all. I think I may have enjoyed this one a little more than the first, I found a deeper connection with the characters and I really found myself dragged into Raphael’s story. The way the author wrote about him just really had my attention from the very beginning. I never deny that I am not really a fan of m/m stories so whilst some of the content wasn’t what I like to read about I cannot fault the way in which the story was written and I would much rather read a well written story with content I’m not overly keen on than a boring story with content I enjoy. A beautiful, emotionally charged story with lovely characters that you can’t help but like!
Overall a wonderful collection of stories that I highly recommend!
