Home is Where the Heart Is: The Wilder Sisters
By Melissa Keir
Rated 3 stars

This starts out with three novellas. They are short, sweet and to the point. I really didn’t care for them. It just seemed the characters were very forward and within a short time they decided they loved and want marriage. Apparently I am too practical for that. The fourth one was better again until the ending…rushed. But the last one Holiday Homecoming was in my opinion the best. There was time for getting to know the other characters, some light romance along with danger and finally love. One thing I did like (which became more prevalent as the stories moved forward) was how they “kinda” built upon each other. I think that’s why I enjoyed the last the best. I actually had tears in my eyes while reading the ending of Sheryl’s story. I can’t imagine!
This is an ok read and if you enjoy quick romance with a lovely family theme…this is for you!

I loved this collection of Novella’s by Melissa Keir. Each story in the collection focuses on one of the sisters and they really were all such a pleasure to read. I loved how the author made sure to make each sister different but also kept it so that you knew they were sisters. Each of their individual stories were heart-warming and sweet. We had second chance romance, relationships where people are still unsure of their sexuality, love, faith and miracles and more. Whilst I loved all of the stories I have to admit A Christmas Accident certainly had me grabbing for the tissues and those characters had my heart from the very beginning. I could feel the emotions of all the characters and cried along with them.
I have read a few books by this author now and I do love her easy and relaxed writing style, she writes beautiful stories that you can’t help but be swept up in straight away.
I definitely recommend Home is Where the Heart is – I can’t wait to read more from Ms Keir again in the future.

The Wilder Sisters
By Melissa Keir

The is a complete novel, even though it is written as 5 novellas. It is the love stories that will keep you coming back for more.

The Wilder sisters each have their own story. 5 completely different women, with the same heart and soul. Each novella will take you on a different rollercoaster ride. This book says it all, not what I had expected at all. I cried some really ugly tears, and sobbed long after I finished. In fact I am trying not to break down again as I write this review.

Melissa Keir has really brought a beautiful story about families. What each sibling thought and how they thought the family would react. As I read this book I kept thinking about how strong these 5 women are. I feel like this story hit my home for me. I must say I LOVE THESE WOMEN and their FAMILIES. I could not put this book down after I started it. Beautiful story Melissa Keir! I will be looking for more from this author.

Home is Where the Heart is by Melissa Keir is a collection of novellas from The Wilder Sisters. Each story focuses on a sister and her chance at romance. I like the stories and how they move work with each other. Each sister is different and has a different story to tell. I also like how they link to their connection with their dad and his illness. This was easy to relate to for myself because I have had a parent who had a serious illness. I also like the family bond that goes through each story. I really enjoyed this series and the range of emotions each evoked. I laughed and I felt the onset of tears. I look forward to more from this author in the future.

4-stars

Home is Where The Heart Is by Melissa Keir is a series of five stories that follow the Wilder sisters. Each story follows along the sisters as they return home to be with their family in times of need. Each and every story is emotional in its own way with many ups and downs which kept me entertained the whole way through.

I loved the layout of this book and all the detail that was provided. I found the storylines to flow quickly as each story is relatively short in length. However, all the detail made it easy for me to connect and relate to the characters and it never felt as if anything was missing.

This was my first book by this author, but it certainly won’t be my last. I look forward to reading more from Melissa in the future!

5+++++ Stars

Oh my goodness I loved this family, I loved the town they lived in and I especially loved Dad!

This is 1 book that contains 5 different stories involving the different children of the Wilder Family yet each with an ongoing theme. So many parts of this entire book literally had me smiling, and others fighting back tears, I dealt with many of the issues in this book in my own life and am also the parent of 4 daughters so a lot of this story hit home in many ways.

I love this author and how she tells her stories, they always feel so real and I feel like I’m right there watching it all play out, actually wanting to be right there watching it all play out. There were a few parts that simply took my breath away!

Every one of the 5 had something that made it my favorite yet I can’t pick a favorite, it’s the stories that make the whole of this book that has made me add it to my favorite reads so far this year list

Read this, I’m not even kidding….

Melissa Keir’s Home Is Where the Heart Is: The Wilder Sisters includes five wonderful stories; those are: Forever Love, Beach Desires, A Christmas Accident, Coming Home, and Holiday Homecoming. Each of these novella length stories features one of the Wilder sisters. The contemporary romances are well written, compassionate and compelling in their own ways. The bond between the sisters is firm and the chemistry with the individuals that fall into their lives was thought out and clearly portrayed. The suspense, intrigue, and elocution that is shared makes each of these stories solid in their own right. Melissa Keir shines as a writer in this genre and I have not read a book by her that I have not thoroughly enjoyed.

I didn’t realize that these are novellas with whole series attached. I really enjoyed the stories and it turned up my interest in looking into the series. Each story is well written and flowed very nicely. It was easy to fall in love with the characters. They were fun and flirty which made me smile. Cowboy stories are some of my favorite romances. There are so many avenues that can be taken. Both of these stories fall into the rodeo side of being a cowboy. In these we have a former bullfighter turned restaurant owner as well as a female stock contractor vs a male stock contractor. Both are equally full of some interesting main characters as well as a few secondary ones.

These are great for a quick read or an introduction to a couple new authors. I really enjoyed each of them. They made me smile and feel happy which is what I want when reading a romance.

Home is Where the Heart is: The Wilder Sisters by Melissa Keir is a series about 5 sisters and their journey to find love. Each sister has their own novella length story and each story is warm and lighthearted.
I really enjoyed that all five of these books had their own distinctive stories and yet they all had the same feel about them. For me it helped lend to the fact that it was sisters I was reading about.
This is the type of book that is perfect for rainy afternoon. You can get yourself lost in the stories, in the romance and sweetness. You don’t have to think too hard about the books you simply find yourself immersed in them.
This isn’t my first read by this author and it certainly won’t be the last.

This book has two heartfelt stories that will pull at your heartstrings. I enjoyed both books. They are about two women who will either take a chance at love or a chance a broken hearts. They took me on an emotional ride that was steamy in parts and heartwarming in others. They have chemistry and attraction with the steamy men. The characters made me feel as if I was part of the story. They are independent, strong and lovable. I highly recommend these books, you won’t regret picking it up.

I loved reading both stories in this book. They hooked me in from the very beginning and I found myself not wanting to put them down until I had finished them. The stories are romantic and there are some steamy moments that makes the temperature in the room rise. There at times confused or conflicting feelings. There are also heartwarming moments as well. The women in these stories are strong-willed and independent. The men are also strong and charming. There is an attraction between them. Will they take a chance on love or will their hearts be broken? Read these stories to find out. I enjoyed the bantering that goes back and forth between the characters. I found myself caring about the characters and I was rooting for them to find happiness. There is emotional and romantic dialogue. There are moments that will make you swoon. Don’t miss out on two stories that are sure to capture your heart. Highly recommended.

Melissa Keir

Melissa Keir has always wanted to be an author when she wasn’t hoping for a career as a racecar driver. Her love of books was instilled by her mother and grandparents who were avid readers. She’d often sneak books away from them so that she could fantasize about those strong alpha males and plucky heroines.

Melissa doesn’t believe in down time. She’s always keeping busy. Melissa is a wife and mother, an elementary school teacher, a movie reviewer with WHMI (a local radio station), owner of a publishing company as well as an author. Her home blends two families and is a lot like the Brady Bunch, without Alice- a large grocery bill, tons of dirty dishes and a mound of laundry. She loves to write stories that feature happy endings and is often seen plotting her next story.

She’d love to hear from you!

D’Ann Lindun:

Falling in love with romance novels the summer before sixth grade, D’Ann Lindun never thought about writing one until many years later when she took a how-to class at her local college. She was hooked! She began writing and never looked back. Fifty manuscripts and numerous awards later, she is an Amazon bestseller! Romance appeals to D’Ann because there’s just something so satisfying about writing a book guaranteed to have a happy ending. Her particular favorites usually feature cowboys and the women who love them.

D’Ann loves to hear from readers!

This is a wonderful set of 5 stories that will warm your heart. Each one highlights the importance of family. There is romance as well as steamy and swoon-worthy moments. It tells the stories of five sisters. Each of them left their hometown of Amherst, Ohio and have now returned. These stories had my emotions going up and down the entire time that I was reading them. There are times when I had a smile on my face and others when I had tears in my eyes. Each story I would say is novella length and a joy to read. I loved reading about all the different characters. Many of them I would enjoy reading and learning more about. These stories will have you believing in true love, attraction, and taking chances. This set of stories were on my mind even after I had finished them. They are well-written, and I would highly recommend reading them.

Home Is Where the Heart Is: The Wilder SistersHome Is Where the Heart Is: The Wilder Sisters by Melissa Keir
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Home Is Where the Heart Is contains all five books in The Wilder Sisters Series by Melissa Keir. These five novella length stories each focus on one of the Wilder Sisters, they are contemporary romances that range in content from second chance/friends to lovers, finding love with a summer fling, a Christmas Miracle, a wounded warrior romance, and even a bit of a romantic suspense. They all have that wonderful small-town romance feel to them, which gives them added charm. There is also some drama, fun, and spice that made this quite an engaging read. From the lovely cover, to the interesting and somewhat quirky characters, these sweet stories tick all the boxes and have everything you would want in a great read. Ms. Keir has a warm, easy, and inviting style that pulls you in, and easily holds your attention, the whole way through.

The stories are:

Forever Love (Book #1):
Syndie Wilder (Syn) and Thom Johnson (TJ) were childhood best friends and then high school sweethearts, until heartache caused Syn to flee for the big city. Now, 15 years later, Syn has come home to care for ailing father. A walk on the beach brings her face to face the man who broke her heart all those years ago. Their chemistry is definitely still there, and TJ is determined to prove they belong together. But can she trust her heart to him a second time? This is a very quick, easy, sweet, and romantic story about second chances and finding Forever Love.

Beach Desires (Book #2):
Stacey Wilder and Mandy Kenzie meet unexpectedly on vacation. The attraction is instant and intense. But they both have issues about their sexuality that come into play. What happens when Stacey’s ex turns up out of the blue? Will it put a stop to the budding relationship? If they decide to give their love a chance, will their long-distance relationship survive? This F/F romance is another sweet, erotic and interesting addition to the series.

A Christmas Accident (Book #3):
The tale Sherri Wilder-Davidson and her husband Adam (Davidson) are expecting a baby. They are so in love and can’t wait for their child to be born. With Christmas around the corner, Sherri is determined to spend it with her ailing father. Christmas has always been special to Sherri and Adam, and family is important to Sherri, especially now that the baby is due. But everything is put on hold when an accident puts her love, and their future in jeopardy. All she can do is pray for a Christmas miracle. Will her prayers be answered? This is the most emotional and touching story of the series. Even though this is such a short story, there is nothing lacking in the contents- as it packs quite an emotional punch. There are heart-wrenching moments, as well as touching and tender scenes. The thread of hope, faith, power of love, life & death, and miracles really sets this story apart. My favourite of the series for sure. Make sure you have tissues on hand for this one!

Coming Home (Book #4):

Shevonne Wilder has returned home after serving in Afghanistan. She is battle-scarred in more ways than one- after her injuries left her in the dark. Jackson Gambish has a bit of a player reputation, and thought all he wanted was a fling. But now he just wants her.
When Shevonne’s father goes missing, these two are thrown together and will need to rely on each other through it all. Will fate give them a chance at love, or will their insecurities, issues and the stress of the situation destroy their budding relationship?
This was a very quick, easy and engrossing story. It did feel a little rushed at times. But that didn’t detract from my enjoyment of it.

Holiday Homecoming (Book #5):

Sheryl Wilder returns to Amherst, bringing danger and suspense with her. She’s had a difficult time- but hasn’t confided in her family. When she meets Tanner Watts, a single father, things finally look brighter for them both. But danger isn’t far away and puts their blossoming romance to the test. Will they, and their love survive? This was the most suspenseful of the series, and I loved that about it. A worthy addition to the series, for sure. Well worth the read!

This book contains some sweet romances, great chemistry, emotion, tight-knit family bonds, fun, funny banter, and soooo much more. The stories are short enough that you can easily read one, or all, in a single sitting. I was laid low with the flu and this book was easy for my muddled mind to read and enjoy. I didn’t have to concentrate or think too hard- but the emotional content, romance and storylines all pulled me in.
Now I can’t wait to pick up my next read by Ms. Keir- I know I will be in good hands!

Thank you, Ms Keir!

Right off the bat I knew i was going to like this book. It was creative and full of drama and sometimes that’s all a girl needs in her life. For being a novella, this book is full of detail and i thought the main characters were awesome. Tuesday runs a food truck in a small town and while out and about one day, she meets Blake at a grocery store and they hit it off. After another chance meeting they start dating. And in walks in troublesome EX. (GO AWAY HATER) The EX starts to make trouble for Tuesday and Blake and things just started to get great. Will they be able to get past the EX’s shenanigans? Will the EX get the kick in the face she deserves?
Overall i really liked this story and i am looking forward to reading more by this author. I would recommend this read to a friend.

Only this Tuesday night written by Melissa Keir was a very fast paced romance.

Blake The mayor of Copper Mills had broken off his engagement to Judith. Now they are friends with benefits but she is still trying to change him.
Once they are finally broken apart Judith comes him explaining news she heard which isn’t really news after all. Judith is trying to tell the Mayor there is a woman on a food truck who has a “special kid working there” the woman in question is Tuesday from
Tuesday’s Tacos. Tuesday really cares about kids who don’t have an easy life. Who need people to treat them right. Judith keeps on harassing Tuesday but Karma will soon be looking for Judith. Tuesday will win the hearts of all who hear the story. As if that’s not bad enough, she will even end up with the man Judith thought she was going to marry.

Personally I think the book moved way to quickly.

I have to say that I was intrigued by Only This Tuesday by Melissa Keir. It was slightly different than what I’m used to, but that’s not to say that I was opposed to it.
I loved the way that the author created these characters and their storylines. I absolutely loved the feel of sweet romance that I got from this book, and couldn’t wait to see what the end result was. More than anything, I enjoyed that it evoked several emotions from me while reading – that is what I love reading. This was definitely a 4 Star Book!!

This is the first book I have read from this author and now she has a new fan. I love a good small town romance but this author exceeded all my expectations. This book is anything but small it has everything a real story has and more. I could not stop reading this book. You can’t help but to fall in love with these characters. It only took me a little over an hour to devour this amazing story.

Tuesday Benson moved to Copper Mills to get a fresh new start on life. She lost her mother, business, and her boyfriend. When she finds out that her boyfriend did the ultimate betrayal she had no choice but to move. Tuesday loves the small town life. She owns her own little food truck that is taking off really well. Tuesday is way too busy to keep up with everything so she hires a boy to help her. One day she is shopping for some ingredients and she runs into a very handsome man. She doesn’t realize that she runs into the mayor Blake Rogers. Tuesday doesn’t understand why she keeps on thinking about Blake but he keeps on showing up in her life. Will Tuesday have the right ingredients to make real love come to life or will their pasts break them apart?

I absolutely loved this book. This storyline has it all romance, drama, and humor. You will fall in love with these characters right from the beginning. Tuesday is a beautiful woman that has a heart of gold. She doesn’t want to get hurt so she puts her walls up. Blake is a perfect gentleman. He is a very powerful man but he doesn’t take it for granted. These characters have some steamy scenes that will make your temperature rise. This author brings up some delicate moments but she does it so beautifully it will make your heart melt. I can’t wait to see what is next for this small town.

Only This Tuesday: A Copper Mills novella by Melissa Keir is a quick and easy read.
A Mayor and a Taco Truck owner, there shouldn’t be any problems there. However throw in a bit of controversy and a lot of small town gossip and things won’t be quite so plain sailing.
This was a completely new author for me and I have to say I enjoyed the easy, flowing style that her writing showcased. The characters were enjoyable and relatable and the story was a fun and interesting one. This was a relatively quick read but it never felt like I was missing anything from the story. This was a great book and I am looking forward to seeing more of Melissa’s work.

Only This Tuesday: A Cooper Mills Novella by Melissa Keir is a lovely heart warming story about a small town which has some issues but generally welcomes everyone until one person decides to have a smear campaign against some residents.

Tuesday Benson has had a pretty crap life until now, she has had her ups and downs. Her ex boyfriend betrayed her, her mother was gone and her business collapsed so what will she do to recover from this mess she is in. So she decides to move to the sleepy town of Cooper Mills, with their budding tourist trade she decides to open a controversial business idea, a food truck.

As her business grows, she catches the eye of the mayor in town Blake, he has tried to use his power of mayor to promote this town as a tourist destination but his interest in Tuesday does not go unnoticed by Blake’s ex fiancee who tries to ruin Blake’s reputation within the town and tries to derail the relationship is Tuesday. Will they be able to overcome the issues and be able to continue with their relationship.

I loved this story. It was heart warming and well written, the characters offer so much and the chemistry between these characters was great. I loved the way the author tackled some of the quite topically subjects, that how she does not preach but gives both sides of each characters point of view. This is the first book I have read by this author, I will definitely be reading more in the future.

I loved this story! It was such a sweet romance story between two wonderful characters. Tuesday was a genuinely lovely person, the way she was with Gil melted my heart. She saw the potential in him and wanted to give him a chance! Before I even knew where the storyline was headed and we were introduced to the characters separately I knew that I wanted Tuesday and Blake to meet! The way Judith treated Blake made me cross, she was not a nice person at all! Blake was really nice and I loved this instant connection he had with Tuesday! They both deserved to find each other and I was rooting for them the whole way through!
I have read a book by this author previously and this one lived up to everything I expected from her. It was beautifully written and very engaging. I shall definitely be reading more from her again in the future!

Only This Tuesday: A Copper Mills Novella by Melissa Keir is a short romance story, about falling in love and overcoming adversity. I really enjoyed this tale that Melissa has shared and I fell in love with the town and the main characters. It is also one of emotions and deals with issues of helping those with disabilities. There is one character that you will love to hate because of who she represents and the things she does but she gets what is coming to her. The world in which Melissa has written is simplistic and charming and just the place to fall in love. All in all it is a story that will take you on a magical journey. So relax and settle in to enjoy.
