The story Seraphina’s Revolution (The Seraphina Series Book 4) by Sheena Hutchinson is a wonderful fantasy book. This is a series that I have loved since reading the first story and this book is absolutely wonderful. It has action, mythology, and danger. It pulled me in from the very beginning and didn’t let me go until I had finished the last page. I was turning pages to find out what was going to happen next. I loved reading about the characters of Seraphina and Nate. Seraphina is strong, independent, and cares about others. However, in this story, she is trying to keep her emotions from overwhelming her. She feels both guilt and grief from what has occurred. Nate is the one there for Seraphina. He helps her keep her head above water. They have a connection. What will happen when he disappears? Situations have become complicated. The time has come and a war is about to take place. Who will win in the fight against good and evil? What sacrifices will have to be made? Who will be left standing? Read this book to find out. This is a wonderful story about trust and courage. I enjoyed the stories and mythology that is told. The book has a lot of detail and I found myself feeling like was right there with the characters. This is a series that I would highly recommend reading.

I’ve loved this series from the beginning and this installment did not disappoint. This book from start to finish grabbed my attention and held it captive. I love these characters and the journey they are on. The series truly is a must read and this last installment is a treasure.

Seraphina’s Revolution is the fourth and final book in the Seraphina series by Sheena Hutchinson. This was such a bitter-sweet read for me- as I was really excited to see how the story played out but also sad that the series had come to an end. I have loved following Sera and the cast of characters through their journey and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book. I had really high expectations, but I needn’t have worried because Ms. Hutchinson didn’t disappoint! This story was a fitting conclusion to the series, and had me hoping that maybe in the future we may get to revisit these brilliant characters. The story is full of action and excitement- it’s fast paced and entirely enthralling. I do recommend reading the first three books before starting this one, as this isn’t a standalone, there is a bridging story that continues with each new instalment. You will need all the information from those to fully appreciate and follow this story. Can’t wait to see what Ms. Hutchinson has in store for us next.

An Appointment written by Lindsay Marie Miller is book 4 in the Summer in New York Series. This story mad me sad, if you’ve ever second guessed yourself, your past relationships or had that one person in your life who put you down instead of helping build yourself up then you can relate to this story. Savannah is trying to be strong for herself and her son Trey but she is stubborn and feels like it’s something she needs to do alone. But once she realizes it’s okay to ask for and receive help her life starts looking up. And her biggest hurdle of all, moving on.

Well my goodness! This was a fun and enticing little read! I have not had the pleasure of reading any of the other previous Predator series books by Brooke May before I scooped up Back in the Ring, but I had no problems at all with understanding or character placements etc., and I really truly am stoked to now be able to to go back and have three books to devour while I wait for the next book to come. This book has a bit of everything in it, from the drama and the comedy to break it up, tearful moments where I was wanting to reach out and hug the characters, to the moments where I was so over the moon in love with them. Every emotion felt was real and raw, I felt as if I was there with the characters a lot of the time.
Bijou Augustine is determined to keep her dead husband’s dream alive, the struggling and dilapidated youth center. Things only become more complicated for Bijou as her daughter approaches the difficult tween years and tries every last nerve she has. Then life as she knows it will be forever changed when she meets the handsome Noah. As perfect as they seem however there is a secret lurking in his past… You HAVE to one-click and find out how this story comes together for Bijou and Noah. Every man needs a first lady that isn’t going to bring him down but make him stronger. To struggle with him and to win with him. Kendall is a perfect first lady and Michael couldn’t have better. I really enjoyed the story. The author gave us the behind the scene view of politics. Which is mostly a bunch of men and women trying to get ahead. There are many that care but most are looking for careers. I think I would vote for Michael. We need more people who have lived at the bottom but made it to the top. People that are driven to be more and do more. The story was classic in its path but unique in the delivery. The characters were flawed but showed growth and a need to be better. You see how past experiences effect your judgement even when that’s not how you wanted it to go.

I was not too enamored with the beginning of this story. Preston seemed like a complete misogynist and a total creep in some of his interactions with Summer. Some of it was just to get under the skin of Jenny but that doesn’t really make it better. He’s a rich boy with daddy issues but he genuinely wants to be a good person. Summer seemed like a smart girl who makes out of character bad decisions. She repeatedly says she’s done trying to convert bad boys but doesn’t stick to it. Jenny reminded me of a similar type of friend. The characters grew on me as I read more and as they all grew. It could just be that it was brilliant character development but it almost put me off the whole book. With that said, I’m glad I continued and I will look for the next in the series.

The brooch is in another family member’s possession and another story to tell. Like the previous story, I loved the family love that is Maelan has for his granddaughter, Orlagh. His love for her leads him to make some questionable choices. In this story, there is love, magic, and action throughout. At times, I did find it hard to stay focused and the story’s flow was a bit slow. However, the story did pick back up.

Fortitude is set in the period of time in our history where the Jim Crow laws were still a huge deal. Claire is the story’s main female character and she goes against the odds to assist her friend in a colored camp for soldiers. She stands out like a sore thumb with her red hair and freckles but beats the odds by doing her best. She faces many struggles as the story progresses and experiences love and friendship in unlikely ways. I marveled at how strong her character was and how she matured during her time at the camps. Her story made for a wonderful read and I had a hard time putting the novel down.

The Woman America Loves a Latte by Holly Tierney-Bedord is certainly one quick and unusual read. It is like nothing else I have read and it is so stupidly crazy, it is good. You know like one of those cheesy movies that are so bad, they are good? It is silly, it is quirky, it is unique. Given there are so many players and there is so much going on, Holly has done well to keep it all together. It is well written, with plenty of suspense and dream, mystery and intrigue and plenty of quirkiness.
It is one story that is interesting and definitely unique in it’s telling.

His First Lady by Avery Scott is a sweet romance contemporary story that is easy to read. The story is well written and a nice easy read but it also frustrated me and I wanted to shake some of the characters. The main characters were likeable but I felt the story and the characters themselves were lacking. The premise for the story is great but I wanted more. More depth, more wonder, more intensity, just more. I did like the humour throughout which made it fun.
Michael Reese is a Presidential candidate and is happy with his life. He has been married twice & divorced and a bit of a lady’s man. When his overbearing campaign manager decides he needs to find a woman, a First Lady is when the fun begins.
Kendall Bailey is the new girl on the block, and his speech writer. She has worked for a few candidates before so she knows the drill but when she is propositioned for another position by the Presidential candidate she is blown away.

Ugh! Can I get a puke bag please. Lindsay Miller if Savannah doesn’t want Preston I will take him. The man is perfect in the most imperfect ways. Lord if you’re listening send me a big man like Preston lol. I really couldn’t decide if I wanted to fight Savannah or cry for her. Divorce is really hard and it takes something away from you that you never truly get back. I haven’t found it but I haven’t given up either. She just refused to try and wasn’t being fair to Preston. I don’t understand why people feel like children need two parents to be happy. Is it amazing when both parents are there and helping raise the child? Yes! But it’s also proven that a child can be just as happy with only one parent. I almost dropped my phone a few times when Savannah question herself about Trey’s father. If this was me Kevin would be swimming with the sharks. I really did enjoy the story though. It mirrored my life a lot. I truly related to some of the situations. I couldn’t get enough of Preston and Trey. They made the book perfect.

Back in the Ring was an emotional 5 star read and book four in The Predator Series. I was pulled right in from the beginning.
Bijou is a widow who is struggling to keep her and her husbands dream alive, she is trying to get donations to keep the youth center open. She is also struggling with her teen daughter being rebellious on top of it. Her best friend is determined to get her out and dating, when a hottie moves in next to her bestie things take an interesting turn.
Noah is moving forward after losing his wife a year before. He is now working as a handyman raising his son in a new town. Fate brings him and Bijou together when he calls her looking for a babysitter for his son.
These two were meant for each other, to help heal and move forward. We get some steamy moments, the chemistry was great. Noah was great but had some secrets that could change everything for him. What will happen if Bijou learns his secrets? Can they have a HEA? All of the secondary characters were great, loved her best friend, her daughter had me steaming at times. Overall I really enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it, this is a great second chance romance. 1-click and get started today.

Linda Gets Her Groove Thing by JD Frettier is the second book in the Green Room Chronicles. There are returning characters as well as the new character Linda. Linda dies unexpectedly while fighting and is out to get revenge on her horrible ex-husband. This can be read as a standalone and enjoyed completely. Like the first book, I enjoyed the humor and the outrageousness of the story. The Green Room is a fun take on the afterlife. I look forward to reading more from this series and where the author takes the Green Room next.

Knights Who Won My Heart by Sonya Jesus is the fourth book in the Knights series. This series, in my opinion, cannot be read as a standalone, you do need to read them all in order. This whole series has been so well written. Even now when I know more about the characters I still find myself intrigued by each new book. I really like how the blurb just seems to add to the mystery each time. It makes it almost like you are starting fresh with each book, relearning all about the characters. As with the previous ones this book has a great story that is interesting and varied. I found it to be fast paced and intense. The characters were well developed and just as engaging as they were in book one. An overall well written book and series.

Misfortune of Song is the fifth book in the Druid’s Brooch Series by Christy Nicholas. This story can be a stand-alone book, but in my humble opinion I would read the other books as well. This book has all kinds of mystical properties. Misfortune of Song is one that brings a grandfather, Maelan to make an important choice for Orlargh. It this struggle that makes this story so good. Orlagh does not like make black or white decisions and tends to live in the gray area. There is a real struggle for Maelan because he wants to save her from some heart aches. Will Orlagh take her grandfather advise or will she take the other road?

Age of Saints by Christy Nicholas is the seventh book in the Druids Brooch series. Although this series follows the same family each book can be read as a stand-alone. Having read a few books in this series it is clear that this author knows how to write deep and complex characters that will engage you as a reader every time you pick up the book. She also creates an elaborate story full of history and fantasy. The two elements combined in this way work so well. For me this book has got to be my favourite of the series so far. I really enjoyed reading about Lainn. She is a character I connected with instantly and enjoyed reading about from start to finish. This was another good addition to a great series.

MISFORTUNE OF SONG is the fifth book in the Druid’s Brooch Series but it can absolutely be read as a stand-alone.
This is a complex tale with many characters, situations and emotions throughout the story. As with the other stories in this series, the author has a way of painting the landscape with her words so that I was able to visualize the story as it played out.
This is an epic tale that spans many situations, relationships and battles. It is light vs dark and good vs evil but in a different way than expected. Based on what I read, I can understand how Faeries went from being nasty to being the super cute things they are today.
This is a fantastic series that I think everyone could find enjoyment in.

A good book is supposed to evoke feelings and emotions. This book certainly did that for me. I’m not sure what rating I want to give it so I’m going to free write and see if it comes together for me.
This is a Y/A coming of age/new age story that ticked me off in a lot of ways. The decisions the female protagonist makes are infuriating. I wanted to shake my kindle so that I could shake her and tell her… Well I can’t tell you what I would tell her because then that would just ruin the story for you – wouldn’t it?
This story has a lot going for it. The characters are all meaningful in the role they play in the story. The friendships are strong, family of choice is vs family of origin is explored and parent/child relationships are complex. There is a lot going on in this story but it was all very easy to follow. This is one of those books that I COULD NOT PUT DOWN BECAUSE I HAD TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN.
By the time I finished, I really wanted to jump into the next book in the series, but if I didn’t get to sleep I wouldn’t be any good on Monday morning.
How am I going to rate this story? I will rate it 5 starts for a couple of reasons:
1. I finished this story at midnight last night, it’s now 6:20PM and it still owns me and my thoughts. I’m invested in the characters and want – no NEED – to find out what they do next.
2. There is an aspect of the male protagonist that I completely identify with and I like the way his character was written. Instead of being completely vilified, he is still (presumably) a successful student living his life the way he wants to.
3. The family “afterward” is explored in such a way that it felt human and real (even though it totally ticked me off).
I am grateful the next book is already written so I can jump right in.

Wow! What an ending to an amazing series! Seraphina has been to hell and back, quite literally. Seraphina has grown throughout this series and her powers along with her. Her powers in this book are incredible but her remorse and guilt are debilitating her. She is having a hard time coming to terms with everything she did while being evil. This lent to me being extremely frustrated with her “woe is me” attitude. As smart as she is, Seraphina continued to make stupid decisions i.e. trusting Jack. Yes Jack is back, he is like a parasite that you can’t get rid of. I got angry at her for believing him.
Once Seraphina opened her eyes, the book took off. There was so much action, I was on the edge of my seat. The epic battle at the end had me holding my breath. It was so sad, my heart broke. I loved the introduction of the new characters. I enjoyed the witty banter and interaction they had amongst each other. The dynamic of the book changed. I’ll stop there so I don’t ruin anything.
The author has an incredible way of weaving a story that will have you riding your emotions. Once you start, you will not be able to put the book down. I fell in love with these characters and their story. Thank you Ms. Hutchinson for this phenomenal series.

The story REWIND by Rowan Shaw is a wonderful M/M romance book that I loved reading. It is a story that will hook you in from the beginning and I didn’t want to put down until I had finished the last page. It is a romantic book that had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. I enjoyed that the story was set in France. It also has two main characters that I grew to care about with each chapter that I read. I loved reading about Enzo Chevalier and Florian Beaudry. You can’t help but want them to find happiness. The story has both heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. I couldn’t help but find myself angry and upset with the actions taken by some of the characters. Other characters that are introduced are protective and care about Enzo and Florian. This is a book that has some steamy scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. Are Enzo and Florian getting a second chance? This is a story that I would highly recommend reading.

Having read all of her previous stories, I was really excited to read the next instalment in Seraphina’s adventures and I wasn’t disappointed. Following her battle with Lucifer, the now familiar characters of Nate and Sera are settling into their normal life and trying to adjust to the results of the latest battle. Suddenly that calm life is swiftly thrown into chaos when Nate is kidnapped by Lucifer in a bid to ignite Sera’s evil side. In steps Arelia, Seraphina’s appointed guardian to keep her on the straight and narrow and reveal a few truths to her. Together with the other guardians they fight to help Sera fulfil her destiny as “the Chosen one”. An epic battle internally and externally will test Sera on all sides…but who will win? Good or Evil? No way I’m spoiling that one!! Sheena Hutchinson creates such wonderful characters who, although they are supernatural, have enough human traits to make it easy for us to feel for them when things go wrong. She adds just the right amount of drama to her stories and “Revolution” is another triumph. Full of angelic, demonic and many other characters, this is highly recommended to fans of Supernatural drama. Perfect way to end off a series.

Seraphina’s Revolution is the 4th and final book in the Seraphina Series by Sheena Hutchinson. This is a series that must be read in order as each new book follows the last. This series is one of my favorites that I’ve read so far this year. Its captivating, intense, entertaining, detailed, dark and so addicting. I was able to read each book in one sitting as I couldn’t bring myself to stop reading.
I loved the flow of this storyline and all the incredible detail. I found myself sitting on the edge of my seat many many times waiting to find out how everything was going to play out. I was completely surprised by the ending and I absolutely loved that it wasn’t predictable.
I would absolutely recommend this phenomenal fantasy read to everyone!

Linda Gets Her Groove Thing is another extremely entertaining read from J.D. Frettier. This is the second book in the Green Room Chronicles series, a series that should be read in proper sequence in order to get the full picture and to have the character introductions as well.
This erotica read has definitely made an impression on me, it’s unlike anything I’ve ever read. It’s funny, detailed, steamy, slightly emotional, entertaining and so unbelievably captivating. I would absolutely recommend this book and series to anyone looking for their next read!

Linda Gets Her Groove Thing is the 2nd novella in the Green Room Chronicles Series by J.D. Frettier. This series of books is set in the afterlife (the green room) and will have you laughing from the very first page right to the end. I devoured the first book in this series, Desperately Seeking Sixty-Nine in about an hour and this book was no different. When Linda White opens her delivery and finds a butt plug instead of the super doper G Spot Stimulator she ordered, her phone call with the customer services department results in her demise and her appearance at The Green Room. Once settled in at the Green Room, Linda is out for revenge on her also deceased husband and his mistress (still alive). The scenes in which she gets her revenge are hilarious and are so well thought out by the author. Like the first book this book is rather spicy and both acts of revenge are centred around bedroom activities making them even more hilarious. Although a short read, there’s a lot packed into this novella and you won’t be disappointed with it. I already have the 3rd instalment of The Green Room Chronicles waiting on my kindle and I can’t wait to see what delights J.D. Frettier has in line next.

What a series, this has been, highly recommend! In order to get the full enrichment of this series, I highly suggest reading it from the beginning. This is a creative and engaging paranormal story. Seraphina has always dreamed of a life but will reality be what she dreamed of when it happens? When chaos returns to her life, what will she do? She faces temptation, control, sacrifices and learning who can really be trusted. She is my favorite character and has made the story real for me.

Wow what a serie’s everyone had me laugh out loud! They are brilliant novels full of romance , ridiculously funny moments and just storylines that you become hooked too. Oh my there are some hot scenes too which to me with the humour, romance the fantastic banter between the character’s sum up the perfect read! I have got lost in every one of the books i just couldn’t pull myself away and to be frank i didn’t want too. These novels are perfect to read with you favourite beverage or cuppa, feet up and then just get lost amongst the page’s.
If the Shoe Fits by Bea Stevens Book 3 in The Liberty Lawrence series
Book three is just as great as the first two books! It seems Libby finds trouble no matter where she goes or what she does, which makes for an excellent read. You could read this as a standalone but I highly recommend reading all 3 books, you won’t be sorry.
After leaving book 2 I was nervous for James and Libby’s relationship, and although it seemed as if everything was on track, this book made me have some doubts for a minute due to the situations both were put in.
Libby finally gets to move departments and join the Woman Matters supplement for the paper she works for. She is extremely excited and from then on starts messing up royally when it comes to her new up tight and snotty boss. Poor Libby just doesn’t know when to keep her mouth shut. She also has to deal with Suzanne, James’ ex wife all of the sudden moving into his flat which puts some tension in their relationship. On top of everything else she starts getting threatening text messages.
When her new boss Valerie makes a bad deal with a shady man claiming to be the head of a clothing line, it is Libby and her new position that discovers he is a fake and a scam artist. Along with her best friend Cassie they determine who the fraud is and all the connections it has to Valerie, Libby’s past run ins and weirdly enough Suzanne.
Overall a great read! I didn’t want to give too much away because some parts i was surprised at what happened and who was behind it. I would not be opposed if there were a 4th book in this series. I love Libby’s character and reading about her relationship with James and all the drama she gets mixed up with.
