Love overcoming obstacles and young love. If either of these topics appeal to you, you must immediately pick this up and read it. It is wonderfully written and another winner from the author. The characters are relatable and richly detailed. The plot moves quickly and steadily. This book and series has quickly become one of my favorite MC reads. Highly recommended!

Heart of a Hunk: A Limited-Edition Collection of Bad Boy, Billionaire and Hunky Romance Heros is a collection of short stories by various authors.
Foxxy Christmas by Allyson R. Abbott wasn’t the typical romance/love at first sight story. Foxxy sees her hero one night while working. They meet face to face and he changes her life in the best possible way. This story wasn’t what I’ve come to expect from Ms. Abbott but I enjoyed it.
A Kiss Under A Blue Christmas Moon by Tamara Ferguson was a sweet story about second chances, not just for Mia and Noah though. I have read several books in this series, there are brief appearances from characters we know as well as some new ones.

A Terrible Beauty by T. Birmingham is the first book in the Fallen Eagles MC series. I was intrigued by this book after reading the synopsis. You don’t see a lot of MC’s with women as members but the Fallen Eagles has female members and not just to sit and look pretty which I really liked. I also liked that they are Veterans or at least the characters we have got to know in this book.
Kit isn’t the girl she used to be before her deployment. She saw some horrific things and experienced some major trauma but the only thing that has helped her keep it together is the Fallen Eagles and Lee, her childhood sweetheart.
The flashbacks were tough for me to read. It broke my heart to think that we had Soldiers who had similar experiences. I enjoyed this book and looking forward to the next book.

Player: 21st Century Courtesan Book 1 written by Pamela DuMond. Players is a quick read about Evie and her empath ability. The story is told from Evie’s point of view and centers around her life, her choices and her newest admirer, except she doesn’t know who it is and they are scaring her by leaving notes and other things laying around, like in her locked apartment. I will say there story at the beginning and then at the end when they make a comeback makes you wonder what’s going to happen next. You really want to see if anything comes out of seeing Easton even if he does despise her.
A Terrible Beauty is the first book in the Fallen Eagle MC Series by T. Birmingham. I’m amazed by the amount of details backed into this story. It had me hooked on the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until the last page. This book has a strong undertone of PTSD and the things that soldiers, both men and women, go through while serving their country. This book features Kit, who is a wounded but so strong female lead. And how she is dealing with being home from war, but can you really leave war behind? And Lee, also home from the war, trying to get back what he a Summer (Kit) had before the joined up. This book deals with deep subjects and the author does a great job defining the way things happen when issues come up. I really enjoyed this first book and am looking forward to the rest of the books in this series. I highly recommend this book, author and series.

The Lies We Tell by Brittany Butler is an interesting story that took me on quite a ride. Ms. Butler is a ‘new-to-me’ author whose work I was quite excited to dive into. From the blurb, to the cover- this book had me intrigued enough to one-click and jump right in. The story follows Natalie, a self-confessed liar, and her story twists and turns so many times that I really had no idea how everything would play out. I was left guessing, literally right till the end. There were lots of surprising developments, some humour, drama, betrayal, steamy moments, and plenty of mystery. The story jumps around quite a bit, from the past to present, and back again- as well as jumping chunks/years of timeline. For the most part the transitions were done fairly well, but I felt that there were times they were quite a bit confusing and somewhat disruptive to the story. But, I did enjoy it enough to want to explore more of Ms. Butler’s work in the future.

A Terrible Beauty is book one in the Fallen Eagles MC Series by T. Birmingham. It is one of the best Suspense, Military Romance stories I have read in a long time. It was also incredibly heartbreaking, yet it inspired me too. My heart ached and at the same time, I witnessed a love resurrected, which was stunning.
Kit and Lee both saw and lived through imaginable horrors. They experienced things no person should ever have to experience. Their scars were deep and seemingly impossible to come back from. But Kit demonstrated the sheer strength and endurance of the human spirit. That no matter how beat down and broken a person is, there is hope that somehow they can carve out an existence that will ultimately bring peace and happiness. Lee never gave up and together, after great hardship, found their way back together. Their story was brutal, horrific, determined and the title of it says it all. A Terrible Beauty. It was beauty, in all its stripped down ugliness. 5 stars.

Tapped is the third book in The Night Moves Series by Tarrah Anders. It is a very sexy, sweet, fun, and fairly light-hearted second chance at love story- that had me hooked right from the beginning. Janae gets a shock when her one time boyfriend turns up at her workplace, as a fellow employee. Kai has come back home and certainly never expected to lay eye’s on the one woman who broke his heart. Will the sparks between these two ignite the love they once shared? What happens when secrets are revealed? This was such a quick, easy and enjoyable read. Janae and Kai’s chemistry was quite HOT, and sizzled off the pages. I loved the funny banter and quips, it made for some funny reading. There were also details that made me ‘feel’ for Janae- things I won’t get into here, because I don’t want to spoil it for you. I loved catching up with the characters from the previous books- they are all such wonderful individuals- a real stellar cast! I always enjoy Ms. Anders stories and this book is no exception. This is definitely one of my favourite reads of hers and was a great addition to the series! Another great read from this superb author. I can’t wait to see what she does next.

Surviving the Storm is book 2 in the Surviving Series. This book focuses on Alex and Madison. There is so much suspense and action in this book. It is definitely the best in the series so far. Alex comes from money but he isn’t showy about it. Madison is an independent woman who is getting her clothing line up and running. We know from book 1 that Alex and Madison spent one night together and that she is already promised to marry Graham. So what happens next? You will have to read the book to find out! Theo and Eden are fairly prominent through out this book, so if you haven’t read book 1 you will want to.

A Talent For Trouble is the first book in the Bad Boys of Space Series by Landra Graf. This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Graf, so I wasn’t sure of what to expect going into the story. The story proved to be a well written, interesting and entirely entertaining space adventure, with romance, a little mystery, some suspense, danger, gun fights and battles, and wonderfully quirky characters. Emilio Morales has a bit of a reputation as a lady’s man and bad boy- as a drug runner that reputation comes with the territory. He has dreams of running his own operation, which leads him to make a deal with the most dangerous supplier in the universe. There is a lot riding on the outcome of this one deal, it will either make him or break him. He was expecting some trouble, but he never expected his business partner to turn the tables on him. Which then leads to Emilio drifting in space on an inoperative ship, with only a few hours of oxygen left, and a beautiful, feisty woman as his companion. Antonia Smith (Toni) hasn’t had a lot of luck lately. She’s on a mission to find her ship and had a plan in place. But when she finds herself in the middle of a dangerous confrontation, things begin to take a turn for the worse. Forced to jump on the nearest ship, she soon finds herself marooned on a damaged vessel with an annoyingly handsome runner, who seems to know just how to press all her buttons. What ensues makes for a really fun read. I enjoyed this story and recommend it to anyone who likes a great, romantic space adventure. I will definitely be reading more of Ms. Graf’s work in the future.

This story is full of action, suspense and even some romance. It is about Toni and Emillio. They both need each other’s help, want something from the other. Toni wants her ship and he is one step away from being the number one runner between Earth and the other planets. As a team their every attempt seems to fail, will they survive to get what they want? They are great, kept the story going for me, I couldn’t wait to see if they find the ending they want. I highly recommend this story.

Bad Things Happen is the first book in the Ashes to Ashes series by Rowena Holloway. This proved to be a bit of a dark mystery- full of danger, suspense, deadly consequences, secrets, hard truths, cover-ups, and so much more. Charlotte Ashe is an Aussie working in London, as the weather girl/reporter for TVWE. She is idealistic and ambitious- and aspires to be taken more seriously and eventually get to report on more hard-hitting stories. She thinks the right story may have just landed in her lap, a scoop that may just open all the doors she’s been dreaming of. But things take a dangerous turn and Charlotte will need to uncover the truth, before it’s all too late. This book definitely has a psychological, edge of your seat, and suspenseful storyline. I was pulled into the story quite quickly and devoured it in one sitting, just to find out how everything was tied up in the end. I am looking forward to the next book!

Finding Juniper by Sadia Ash a five-star conclusion. This is book three in the smoke series and you do need to have read the first parts of the story to get the full benefit. My only issue with this is that it could have done with being at least 50 pages shorter, there were a couple of spots that we could have done without, but I am sure lots of people will like the length. The story is gripping, the will they wont they should be done by now, I should be thinking really, just get it together or kill each other that’s what I’m normally like with this type of story, but it was great. You feel their pain and understand so much deeper what’s holding them back, particularly Kyle his story was sublime it’s not the easiest but when you get used to his voice you will feel like you’ve been sucker punched by emotion.

Historical romance/fiction is one of my absolute favorite genres and this book definitely did not disappoint. The author does a beautiful job weaving this tale, skillfully pulling the reader in the walk beside the characters on the journey they take. Rich and vivid detail – I felt like I was walking through the pages and living the experiences with them. A wonderful book and one I highly recommend others jump into. I cannot wait to continue reading this series and more from this author.

I’d forgotten how much I enjoyed reading books by T. Birmingham. I’ve read a couple of other books, but I have to say that A Terrible Beauty has become my favorite so far. I absolutely loved the author’s ability to develop the storyline as well as the characters. I fell in love with everything that had to be offered. I can’t wait to see where the author will take this series. This was a definite 5 Star for me.

This book almost killed me! Oh my gosh this author she knows how to get me every time I read one of her books, from the completely unexpected to making me fall so hard in love with her characters that anytime anything happens I feel like I am right there with them. I will admit I cried, a lot during this book. My heart hurt for Storm, the author wrote her character in such a way that I genuinely could feel what she was feeling. The emotional feels in this book were real! I have been so lucky to read all of the books in this series, Savage Collision is still one of my most favourite reads ever but this book was something else. I could tell that the author had truly poured her heart and soul into this read, the pain and suffering of the characters is real. I’m not going to go into details as I do not want to spoil this read for anybody but it truly is an outstanding story that I cannot recommend enough – it may only be January but I know for sure that I have found one of my top reads of 2019!

A Talent for Trouble (Bad Boys of Space #1) by Landra Graf was a fast pace, addicting read that had me hooked from start to finish.
My first read from this author, I went in blind and just started reading. The cover and synopsis may have invited me in, but the stellar writing, intriguing plot and attention to detail, made me stay.
I will say that this is a little out of my comfort zone, not so much that it’s a sci-fi, but because it was a Mafia style setup, and I don’t normally gravitate towards those types of books. But I’m glad I took a chance because this book was much more than a tale about a drug runner trying to make it big, no, it had a ani-hero vibe and with the added romance to spice things up, I couldn’t stop flipping the pages.
Overall this book, is a must read. Besides the plot and multi-layered characters, there is action, blood, double crossing and an explosive climax that will get your blood pumping. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will want to get lost in this dangerous world set in space.

This is the first book in the Fallen Eagles MC series. This book is Kit’s and Lee’s story. Honestly, I had a little trouble getting into this book at the beginning. However, the more that I read the more I liked it. Yes, this story has romance in it, but I loved the other things in this book more like the healing, acceptance, sisterly love, and the resilience of the characters. These are things that I loved about this book. After I was able to get pulled into this story, it was a fun and quick read that I did really enjoy!
I absolutely loved book 1 in this series so I was really excited to dive straight into book 2 and wow! It was such an amazing read, I didn’t think the author could top the first one but she really knocked it out of the park with this second book in this series. It can be read as a standalone however I would definitely recommend reading book 1 first. Again the author took me on an amazing literary journey with this book, it was so much more than I expected and I found myself on the edge of my seat on more than one occasion. I was gripped by the story line, the mystery of everything constantly had me guessing, it was unpredictable and the characters were amazing! The authors writing was so engaging and I found that I couldn’t (and didn’t want to) take my eyes off what I was reading. If you are looking for a romance story with a dark, gritty mysterious undertone to it then I 100% recommend this book! I loved every second of it and I look forward to more from this talented author in the future.

I LOVED this book! I have to admit I think I was in love with it before I even started, as soon as I read ‘Alexander Kincaid Storm III’ I was gone! For some reason the name sounds so sexy! There was so much that I loved about this story, the chemistry between the characters, the suspense, the secrets and lies – I just really loved it all! I’m not usually a fan of insta-love it often has me rolling my eyes but I liked it in this story, I’m pretty sure I would have fallen in love with Alex as quickly as Madison did! I loved all of the twists and turns that the author took me on, it was definitely one of those books that I couldn’t put down. I thought the authors writing style was great, the book was easy to read and it took no time at all for me to be captivated by what I was reading. I am really excited to read more from this series and author again in the future.

I really enjoy the writing style of this author. The chapters are “normal” length and they are broken up with alternating POV or subject change in quick order. It’s a fast great way to read.
This is book 2 in a series and I think it would be best to read the series in order. There are relationships from the first story that continue here and I think it would be more enjoyable to read in order.
The characters continue to develop as the story unfolds. There is a bit of suspense and some twists and turns. The open door sex scenes are easy to skim.
The story held my interest. I will absolutely continue to read the series. I look forward to reading more about of Steel and Gage and the other characters too.

WRITTEN IN THE STARS FALLEN EAGLES book 2 MC by T. BIRMINGHAM
Five Stars
Written in the Stars is a well written love story. It is about finding and loving yourself no matter your flaws. Winter keeps to herself not because she is shy but because she sees and feels with her all. I loved her character she gave off a ice queen vibe but that wasn’t who she truly was. She was sweet and loving. At first look she seems timid and rude but as the story develops she grows. Eagle has seen and done so much and it has left him physically and emotionally scared. I really enjoyed these two characters journey. The author has a great thing going and I can’t wait for the next book. These sister’s are hardcore and loving. The men in their lives are loyal and HOT! Soumya is excited to meet hot Bollywood Actor, Vir Seth. However she happens to overhear a conversation that he was involved in relating to how he feels about women and what their good for. This infuriates Soumya and she decides to do something to get him back.
Oh no, Soumya, you started this mess and you can damn well see it through to the bitter end. – Vir
When Vir Seth shows up at her workplace demanding she come to her boss’s office she doesn’t know what to expect. If she loses her job it was worth it. Lets just say there is a unexpected twist that she didn’t see coming, now the tables have turned.
You’re mine and before long, you’ll come to understand that. – Vir
Soumya was determined to reject Vir’s advances, however the more time they spent together her feelings were building. Does he feel the same way or is she fooling herself? How can she compete with all the beautiful women he’s used to?
I really liked Soumya and her strength in standing up for herself, she was a great strong character. Vir grew on me, at first I thought he was an arrogant man who was hung up on himself. I really enjoyed their story. The author pulls you right in with her writing and you won’t want to stop until your done, I had to see how it ended.

You need to read the first book as it ‘sets the scene’ and you will the people from the first book again in the second and so on! When I picked up Written in the Stars, I knew that I will need (internal need not someone telling me to read) to finish it in one sitting, I knew that I would not be able to fall asleep if I left off before the end … so I read it during the weekend and I am telling you, give yourself a present and spend a weekend with the series! Written in the Stars is the story of Davis “Eagle” Landon, a businessman and president of the Fallen Eagles MC and someone who gives so much back to the community and all the veterans, and Winter Markham, business owner and one of the Markham sister and who carries the world on her shoulders despite of the wonderful friends and family … Eagle has been attracted to Winter forever and finally, both of them let the sparks fly … mix into it a serial killer and a copycat and you will be glued to the edge of your seat and you forget to breathe at times … so well is the story written, so vivid are the details and the relationships, so intense are the emotions … I cannot wait for the next book in the series and knowing from reading most of T Birmingham’s writing, it will be another smashing story that will not leave you alone …

Heart of a Hunk: A Limited-Edition Collection of Bad Boy, Billionaire and Hunky Romance Heroes was a great 5 star collection of 24 stories that had all sorts of genres and hot alpha males. I really enjoy these collections because it gives me the opportunity to read new authors and genres. I look forward to reading more from all of them. There is something for everyone. You can pick up the book and have a quick read or read them all at once. There is a great variety of stories, they all were different which I really enjoyed.
Overall I highly suggest this great read. I will warn that there may be some triggers for some in Foxxy Christmas.

A Terrible Beauty is the first book in T. Birmingham’s Fallen Eagles MC Series. It is listed as a novella but it didn’t feel that way to me when I was reading it. It has a lot of content, feeling, and background. The characters were well described, so you got a sense of who they were and their relationships with each other. It was well written, and I cannot wait to read the 2nd book in the series. I highly recommend it, but I do give caution to readers, there is some intense scenes involving sexual abuse and torture, along with some PTSD situations. The book is largely about Kit Markham and her high school sweetheart Lee Devereaux, though there are a lot of important supporting characters. Both Lee and Kit served time in the military, and while they kept in contact, Kit went through some trauma she has hidden for years from nearly everyone. It has caused a lot of strain on their relationship. While they both love each other, is that enough? Can Kit get through her struggles and allow herself to be happy?

Surviving the Storm by Virginia Win is the second book in the Surviving Series. Virginia Win did not disappoint in this story. She has a great depth of knowledge that allows her to put her emotions into her characters and stories. This is a contemporary romance story with mystery, suspense, lies, secrets and family dynamics all roll up into one book. The story of a guy raised on one side of the tracks falls for a girl on the other side of the tracks could sum it up, however it is much more than that statement. Alexander Kincaid Storm III wat the boy on the right side of the tracks but his father’s world dictates what Alexander was able to do or pursue. Then there was Madison. A girl that swept him up and had he going to a place he has never been before ever, Alexander has to decide if he was going to follow his heart of head with this relationship. Madison was her own person. Her story intertwines with Alexander. She will also have to make some decisions if she really wants Alexander. What would Alexander do? Will Madison think that Alexander is worth everything? Reading their story has some ups and downs.
