Our Unexpected Hope
By Michelle Sullivan

Our Unexpected Hope is an awesome read by Michelle Sullivan. This book will pull on your heart strings for sure and I really do recommend that its read. Our Unexpected Hope centres around Quinn and Noah. Quinn helps her father run the photography company and although she has never really been in love she knows she wants the same love her mum and dad have for each other. Then we have Noah, he is head chef at the restaurant he works at. Noah is mesmerized some what by Quinn and wants to know everything there is to know about Quinn. Noah has the most beautiful heart and it just shows through the words on the page. This book is so well written it’s another occasion where you feel you actually know the characters in the book. This book just seems to flow from the first page to the last, and I can tell you in will have you on an emotional roller coaster but one well worth being on.

The Nearness of You
By KG Fletcher

The Nearness of You is a wonderful heart-warming romance by KG Fletcher. This is another book that is going to grab you before the first chapter is done. What I liked about this book was how much detail the author has put into the book, with how its written you end up feeling that you actually know the characters, and you can certainly read it as a standalone. This story centres around the budding romance of David and Lauren. Lauren a budding singer meets hot David a model when he is at one of her shows. They have an instant connection, but David’s assistant is in the way and Lauren feels she has to prove to the assistant that she does in fact love David. David for his part just wants to have Lauren around and he can’t explain why it’s just the way he feels. So, if you want a book that’s going to warm the cockles of your heart this is the book for you.

Eternal Bloom Book 2
By A.E. Gamrat
Eternal Bloom is book two in this wonderful series. Like with most good series book two picked up perfectly from book one. So now we have Gwen making her way in life since she has finished college, you will find in this transition it will cover everything from what being an adult is to love, family and what she is looking at career wise. In book two you will find that you can still easily connect with Gwen, you might even get to like her mum a little bit. What I really liked about these two books is the friendship between Lena and Gwen, I really like the way that throughout all their friendship stayed strong, seemed real and it may have you feeling that you can feel the love these two girls seem to have for each other. Nothing better than being close to characters in a book. Makes the storyline so much more. You will love these two books but remember to read them in order.

New Bloom Book 1
By AE Gamrat

New Bloom is book one in this series which consists of two books by AE Gamrat. Having read both books it is highly recommended that they are read in order, reason being you really do need to have a background of the storyline. There is nothing about these books that I didn’t like, both books are so easy to follow, they flow perfectly. There are a lot of emotions everything from friendship to pain and anger. I felt that Gwen couldn’t have told her life story any better than she did, there are also awesome secondary characters which I feel held their own in the story. Gwen is a college graduate and like all graduates her life will enter a new phase, some parts of her new life will not be what she saw it to be. I found Gwen’s mother to be quite horrible and I am glad she had her friend Lena to lean on.

Painting Kuwait Violet
By Pamela Q. Fernandes

Painting Kuwait Violet is a wonderful story by Pamela Q. Fernandes. This is the first book I have read by this author and I have to say I not only liked the book but the writing style of the author. Violet is a much-educated young lady. But after the death of her beloved father, her family is now in monetary crisis. Her aunt gives her information on being a maid overseas and also outlined the strict obligations that comes with the role. Violet sees no other way to help her family out of the crisis they are in but to become a maid. Violets mother is not happy that her educated daughter is even thinking of being a maid and voices her worries of what other people will think of this matter. Violet tells me mother that this is only for two years and since she can’t find a job at home she has no other choice. After all its only for two years, right? The question is will Violet be able to cope being a maid in a strange country? And will she become a victim of Sabah Dashti, her sponsor?

Redemption: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 5)
By Meghan O’Flynn

Redemption is book five in the Ash Park series by Meghan O’Flynn. I have to say I don’t know how any of these can be a favourite, they are all as good as each other. As with the other books in this series it is very well written, and most dark and twisted. But then what did we expect of this series? Like I have said in my other reviews of this series I probably wouldn’t read at night in bed, if you are like me it will just about give you nightmares. However, I do highly recommend that this series is read, you will not be disappointed at all. The whole series has lots of twists and turns, so if you like reading books that give you goose bumps, have you wondering what’s happening next and murder, then you need to get this series and read it. Thank you, Meghan, for and awesome, scary read.

The Jack (The Immortal Series Book 2)
By M.K. Harkins

The Jack is the second book in the Immortal series by M.K. Harkins. This series is off to an awesome start and can’t wait to see what happens in following books. I love the writing style of this series so far and I really hope the writing style continues throughout the series. It’s the exciting carry on from the reader, which I would highly recommend that you read first. With the Jack we get taken a couple of years in the future, where at the end of the Reader we saw the Jacks were just about made extinct. What I found in the Jack was the characters growth, which makes for an even better book. You will love this book especially if you like all the drama, the suspense and of course what is a book with out some romance thrown in to. I seriously recommend that this series is read, you will love it.

Brave (The Sisterhood Series book 1)
By Chelsi Arnold

What can I say but I am glad to have read this book. Its well worth the five-star rating I have given it. Brave is book one in Chelsi Arnolds The Sisterhood Series and I am looking forward to reading further into the series. For a change we have a book about women in the services and not it makes a lovely change. This book is written from the year 2023 when a young lady by the name of Greer gets drafted and must prove that she is as good as the men. Its also about a group of women must learn not only to be part of the team but learn what it is to be part of a sisterhood and have the other girl backs always. All the girls in the sisterhood come with their own background history but have one thing in common, and that’s to prove they are good at what they are training to be. When the Seals have been men orientated for a long time the girls have more to prove than they think, and I can tell you they aren’t going down without a fight, proving to the men they can do just as good. This book is written from a woman’s perspective which is great, and it shows us that if we really want to achieve something we can, if we put the time and effort into it. This book flowed so well and was written equally well.

No Man Left Behind: An Iris Williams & Annette Toni Novel
By R.G. Miller

No Man Left Behind his R.G. Millers fourth book. Took a while for me to get into this book but once I did I found that the story was much better than I previously thought it would be. I thought that this book was going to be slow, but I did find in some parts that I was quite fast paced. On saying that though so me parts of this book did frustrate me but once I got past those areas I got straight back into the book. There are a few twists and turns which I feel really made this book, which in turn made it easy to continue reading it, as you just had to know what was coming next. This book centres around Iris Williams and Annette Toni. Iris and Annette have been promoted due to the success of their last case. The case they are now working on will change their lives in ways they could never imagine. Their new case is about a military man who was left behind enemy lines as his colleagues thought he was dead. This was a big mistake on their part! Please be aware that some parts of this book could trigger memories for some people. So please keep this in mind before picking up this story.

Enigma Of Life Book 1

Isaac Holt one extremely hot night club owner
Isabelle Brahm FBI Agent
Isaac and Isabelle world are about to collide in a way none of them could have imagined. They literally bumped in to each other at the New York Airport. Isabelle bumped into Isaac hard chest sending her to the floor in an unladylike way. He grabs her by the elbow to steady her on her feet and when she bent down to pick her things up he had the same idea and they bumped heads. Isaac cussed loudly, Isabelle cussed quietly. The bump on the head was hard and it had her vision blurred, Isaac checking her over to make sure she was okay noticed a bump on her head. He took her to the first class lounge so he could put ice on the bump and give her a couple of drinks. Looking at Isaac’s watch she tells him she has to go or she will miss her flight.
Getting on the plane she is extremely nervous as she does not like to fly and once again after putting her jacket and satchel in the overhead compartment trips over her own feet in front of Isaac. She sees Isaac grin as he takes the seat by her. Noticing she is afraid of flying he tells her she will be okay and has a fix for the problem. An electrical jolt goes through her body as he starts to run his index finger over the veins in the back of her hand, he runs his finger up and down her arm, wraps his strong hand around her neck in an erotic and domineering way.
Isabelle’s life is about to be pulled into two different directions and there will be nothing that she can do about it. Arriving at Ravenshoe Airport she is given his business card for the Dungeon and he tells her to be there Saturday night at 10pm. Regina is there to pick her up. While driving Regina tells her to look in the gray manila folder page two. There she sees herself looking at the gorgeous Isaac Holt.
She asks Regina why he is being investigated and is told because he made his first million dollars by the time he was twenty.
Isabelle introduces herself to Brandon but before he can answer Alex yells across the office telling Brandon he wanted the paper work and now. Alex wanted a blonde agent as they have only seen him with blondes over the last couple of months, seeing Isabelle is a brunette he yells at someone else, telling Isabella that she is not here for her brains but as eye candy for Isaac.
Will hiring Isabelle work in attracting Isaac?

Ten minutes is up and Isaac stands and picks his jacket up off the table. He only says two things to Isabelle and that they are that smell baby its fear and that it was nice meeting her.
While he has been held in the observation room his home has been totally destroyed by the FBI, some things can be replaced but those with sentimental value cannot be. Enigma: The Mystery Unmasked Book 3
Author Shandi Boyes

Wow has this book had me on an emotional roller coaster.
Isaac and Izzy are not only in a fight for her freedom on murder charges but they are also in for a fight of their life for their relationship. With the evidence against Izzy looking more like planted evidence Regan is now sure she can get Izzy off the murder charges but that will have to wait until it goes to court for the judge to decide. Until he judge makes his ruling there is nothing Isaac and Izzy can do but wait. However with the one single indiscretion Isaac has had since he and Izzy became a couple hanging over his head he is in a mess and everything is worthless to him if he doesn’t have Izzy in his life.
The night that he was arrested and his home trashed by the FBI Isaac got himself drunk, He got Hugo to take him to his apartment forgetting Clara was there. When he awoke the next morning he was distressed to see Clara in the same bed as him. Being so drunk he could not remember if anything had happened between the both of them. His first rational thoughts were of Izzy even though she had spent the last few months seeing him while the FBI were investigating him and she was an FBI agent. When Clara spitefully tells Izzy that she and Isaac slept together, she decides to bring the matter up with Isaac, instead of listening to what he might have to say she storms out of their hotel room telling him it’s over.
On a Sunday morning run with Hugo he begs Izzy to forgive Isaac telling her that love is worth fighting for. She however tells Hugo she feels it’s not worth the fight. Hugo says nothing is fixed by running and instead of listening to what he is saying she gets nasty with Hugo and throws the fact that he ran from his life to. Sensing that she hurt him she wishes she could take the words back. Hugo trying to get Izzy to forgive Isaac tells her that Isaac does love her but she’s not listening. She tells Hugo that she wants all of him not half as she feels half of him still belongs to Ophelia. Hugo the darling man tells her no one knows what would have happened with him and Ophelia had she not died. He also says just like her relationship with Isaac no one knows and that it could fizzle out in months. Izzy is being too stubborn to listen to what Hugo is saying and thinks what she is thinking is right for her. Just like Isaac every inch of her body aches for him, he has her heart and her soul but she is not willing to get over what may or may not have happened with Clara. Both Isaac can Izzy have caused each other pain, his pain when he found out she was a FBI agent and the Clara episode was her pain. She must now also think what she is going to do if she is let off the murder charges, as a few weeks ago before she was arrested she was going to live with Isaac and leave the FBI.

Enigma: The Final Chapter Book 4
Author Shandi Boyes

Hunter finds out he is married with three children, and seems to be living above the salary he brings in, Hunter also found out that Lucas doesn’t mind being with high end prostitutes from time to time. While Hugo is out with Isabelle she is kidnapped by Col Petretti’s men. The purpose of the kidnapping is that Col wants Isaac to see the life go out of Isabel’s eyes as this is what happened to his daughter Ophelia when she was with Isaac. Hugo phones Isaac to let him know what has just happened and that because traffic is heavy he is able to run after the car to try and get her back. While Hugo and Isaac are talking gun fire shoots down the phone line then the call is disconnected. In the meantime Brandon phones Isaac to let him know that Hugo has been shot. Isaac gives him instructions that he is to be taken to Ravenhoe Private Hospital where he will have the best surgeons working one him.
Hunter has pulled up video showing Hugo trying to get Isabelle back. Tallis phones Isaac and let him know that Col is on the move and gives the address where they are headed. Isaac knows exactly where they are going. Arriving there he sees Isabelle tied to a chair and gagged. Col smiles at Isaac and pulls out his gun and aims it at Isabelle. With only a split second Isaac dives at the chair Isabelle is sitting on and knocks it over protecting her body from the gun shot. But in doing so he gives her stage three concussion. When Isaac looks up he sees Col dead and the others from Col’s crew hand cuffed by Alex and Isaac’s security team. Isabelle is also taken to the Ravenhoe Private hospital where she is kept in for a night or two. Monday is Isabelle’s next court date and Regan is hoping to get the charges dismissed. On hearing the evidence this is exactly what the judge does; Isabelle is free to go home.
Isabelle finds out from Brandon that Ophelia is still alive after he shows her a photo. Isabelle knows she needs to investigate this further before telling Isaac anything. With this photo of Ophelia Isabelle tells Isaac she needs to go back to Tiburon for a few days but won’t tell him why. After an argument he allows her to go but only if Hugo goes with her and this was not negotiable. Turns out Ophelia is very much alive and is working as a pharmacy assistant and has a child that could possibly be Isaacs. Now they have seen her Hugo drives straight to the airport so they can go home and let Isaac know this information. While she is telling Isaac he doesn’t know whether to believe her or not until he sees the photo.
After a week of being in bed together Isaac tells Isabelle to get dressed and they drive to a private hanger Isabelle is worried she is going on a plane and grabs Isaacs hand tighter as they get closer to the plane. Arriving at the plane she sees a little girl. Isaac gets down to her level and she knocks him to the ground. He looks at Calli and tells her Isabelle is her sister.
Isabelle looks at Isaac remembering the photo of him with Vladimir.
She asks Isaac Vladimir? He answers yes.

Christmas has not always been good for Angel. However this Christmas is the best one she has ever had, she is surrounded by people who she loves and by those who also love her. Her Christmas present from Travis is sitting on her finger a beautiful engagement along with a marriage proposal which of course she accepted. She can’t stop looking at her beautiful ring and is amazed how it sparkles under the lights of the Christmas tree. Travis was nervous when he was preparing to ask her to marry him; he worried that she may say no. They were going to his moms for Christmas lunch and when they arrived she nearly knocked Travis off his feet in trying to get to Angel. Travis was also surprised his mom managed to keep the engagement ring a secret, since she knew what he was planning. The love between his mom and Angel stood out for all to see. Angel spent some of Christmas morning looking through wedding sites with Travis’ mom; they were both as excited as each other looking what could be bought for the wedding. Travis is in awe of how close the two women he loved the most are. Angel squeals with delight when she find a dress that she really like, Travis goes to look but his mom turned her computer away from him so he couldn’t see. When asked when the wedding was to be Angel said she would like a summer wedding, Travis told her he would marry her tomorrow if he could, his mom told him that wouldn’t happen as a wedding takes months to plan. Smiling he leaves the loves of his life finish up with their wedding searches.

Awesome book. Absolutely loved the story line.
Angels mother left her when she was seven, her father died when she was twelve and now at seventeen. The aunt who had raised her has died. Angel is now all alone and since she is under eighteen she has to go to a foster home. Two weeks before her eighteenth birthday she had had enough of being in the foster home and left. She decided she was going to California to meet her mother and hopefully the two could have a relationship. The first night of her travels was a twelve hour bus ride. Luckily she had slept most of that twelve hours. The second night she decided she would sleep in a cheap motel. Angel too another bus to Ohio and decided to hitchhike the test of the way to save her money. She stopped at a truck stop and got a drink and something to eat, she also badly needed to wash her hair. Doing this in the truck stop toilet she nearly slipped in the water she got every where. Deciding it was time to move she started to walk and thought the shoes she had on were no good for long walks. Travis in the meantime had left the truck stop and saw the girl he had seen at the truck stop hitchhiking. There was no way he was going to let her hitchhike so he pulled his truck over and told her to get in. Angel felt safe with Travis and thought he was the most gorgeous man she had ever seen. She asked Travis where he was going, he told her Tolson was the last stop. By the time they got to Tolsen je knew she was going to California to see her mother. He told her he was going that way in three weeks and would give her a lift. He also said she could stay at his place to save her money. Both were quite attracted to each other and in three weeks went from strangers to being in love. Neither of them told the other how they felt. The time had come for her to go to California. It was a hard trip for both Travis and Angel. The day after she arrived she went to see her mother. Her mother told her don’t change your life because i wouldn’t do it for you. In the mean time Travis had turned his truck around as he needed to tell Angel he loved her. When he got back to her hotel she waited till got back from the prison and noticed she was tearing up the post card. He went and say by her, she didn’t notice he was there until he said hi baby. She asked why was he here and he told her I had to tell you I love you and please come home.
