Awakened (Ariya Adams Trilogy #2) by Anna Applegate
4 out 0f 5 stars
Awakened the Ariya Adams Trilogy is book two written by Ms. Applegate and the second book that I have read by this author. I really enjoyed reading more about Ariya and James and the gang. The characters are well written, and I still enjoyed the storyline, but I thought the story just dragged on…. I mean don’t get me wrong there were some great scenes that made me feel a-part of the story.

Ariya Adams only recently discovered the supernatural world is real, and that world wants something from her. Her blood. Her unique ability to heal both werewolves and vampires with only a few drops gives Ariya a great power. However, that power has put her in unfathomable danger.

James, her sexy vampire boyfriend and Protector, has done well keeping Ariya safe in the past. When a new, more powerful and manipulative evil comes into play, it may prove to be more than they can handle, especially when their forbidden affair makes Ariya more vulnerable to the deceptive new enemy seeking to control her. Her grasp on reality will be tested and twisted as she battles to save James, her friends, and herself.

Despite her determination, she will be faced with a pain greater than she ever imagined. Even the most powerful abilities have limitations, and this time, the power of her blood might not be enough to save those she loves most.
Will her Protector/Boyfriend keep her safe? Can Aryia win the battle when her reality is being tested? If all else is lost, will Ariya survive?
I enjoyed this story and cant wait to read the conclusion to this trilogy…

Love Bites Harder (Darkness & Light Duology #2) by T.L. Clark

5 out of 5 stars
Love Bites Harder is the second book in the Darkness & Light Duology written by T.L. Clark is amazing I just love her writing. The characters are amazing the way they interact is awesome and let’s not forget the scenery which was incredible with the way she described it.
We continue were we left off from Love Bites book one where Pryderi had to make a tuff choice.
Kiera, formerly Shakira, faces more threats than ever as her quest for peace and home continues. She has so much going on in her life with being torn from her soul mate. She thinks she can she lift the curse from her father? We also get to see a different side of her father
Is the fae realm really a safe haven from her enemies? Are any of these fantasy beings trustworthy?
The elinefae clan Leader’s fear is the only thing that stopped him from ending her life on the spot. But he might as well have done. Can the soul mates ever be reunited? Or will the Leader carry out the execution?

Can Kiera she survive?
I highly recommend this awesome book/duology….

Protected (Ariya Adams Trilogy #1) by Anna Applegate
5 out of 5 stars
Protected is an Ariya Adams Trilogy written by Anna Applegate is the first book I have read by this author. I love reading about vampires and werewolves all paranormal books actually. So when I read the blurb I grabbed it and I wasn’t disappointed the characters where well written with their quirky ways and easy banter. The plot was really different in a good way with few surprises thrown in. The way Ms. Applegate described the scenery was amazing.
Ariya Adams thinks she’s a normal college Senior she has no idea she’s descended from blood so powerful and rare that her life is infinitely more precious than any ordinary woman’s especially to James Rymer.
James knows she’s anything but a regular college student and enters her life and stirs up feelings she can’t explain. He becomes a part of her world almost overnight, but Ariya senses he’s hiding something, and she’s determined to figure out what it is.
When “normal” becomes a thing of the past and fantasy enters Ariya’s reality, she’s soon faced with dangerous revelations, the least of which is that everyone she loves has been keeping secrets from her. With a paranormal evil she’s only beginning to comprehend threatening her and her friends, Ariya will have to choose between duty and love. Through it all, she’ll learn to never underestimate the power of blood.
I highly recommend this story and can’t wait to read what happens in Awakened. I do have to warn you this story ends in a cliffhanger.

And they say opposites attract….
Without Apology is the first book in the Without series written by Aubrey Bondurant but it’s not the first book that I have read by her. She is an amazing author… The characters are well written with their quirky personalities and amazing banter. This is a great storyline and the description of the scenery was great also.
I fell in love with Simon and Peyton from the first few pages. We have Peyton who is smart, funny, and a math whiz. She is no push over and can gives as good as she gets. She works hard but she also makes time for her family.
Simon is British but lives in New York City but is actually more on the road for work then home. They call him the Ice man because of his emotionless approach to his job of acquiring companies for his boss. But when he meets Peyton his world is turn upside down. He doesn’t do feelings but he gets a crash course in feeling.
This was a great read we get to see how two work alcoholic’s navigate a relationship and work with a few bumps in the road.
I highly recommend this great story written by a great author….

I loved reading Relationship Resuscitation from, The Jupiter Court Series by Jennifer Theriot. This is another fabulous and exciting sexy, loveable, and emotional book. Head over heels in love and approaching 50, their relationship needs a little jump start. Her Real Man (Rescue Me Collection Book 0) by Ms. Reis is the first book that I have read by this author and it won’t be the last. I read this book in one sitting, so if you are looking for a quick getaway this is the perfect book. The Characters are well written. Ms. Reis storyline is engaging and easy flowing. It made me feel as if I was right there with the characters.
Ana is a cute and quirky romance writer looking for fireman book boyfriend inspiration and she gets more than she expected from Gavin McLeod. Her quest to find imperfection could be the spark that brings to life their chance at happiness, or the burn that could destroy it all. Ana has her own demons she needs to get over or work through in order for Gavin and her to have a chance.
Gavin has his flaws but he owns them and is kind, strong, courageous and so easy to fall in love with. Because of his past he rather only go out with the likes of models and such. But once he meets Ana he’s instantly attracted to her which is a complete surprise to him.

A Prickly Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott

5 out of 5 stars
This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Abbott but also the first book in the Christmas kiss series and I really enjoyed this short love story that had me laughing and rereading certain parts. I loved the setting and the small town that looks after their own and has amazing trust. The way Ms. Abbot descried the rustic setting and the isolation was perfect. The characters where well developed and the story line is amazing.
This story starts off with Emma Louise Fallon, aka Elf on her way to meet her girlfriend for a Christmas get away. Anything scape her well-meaning family and her ex-boyfriend. Now she on her way to a cold isolated cabin when she gets a call from said girlfriend informing Elf she won’t be-able to meet her after all.
Elf decides to head to the cabin and makes one more desperate wish: Can she please learn how to build a fire before she freezes to death? The solo rustic life is becoming all too much for her.
She’s convinced that a stray cat, who has decided to keep her company, has magical powers, that the local shop owners are secretly Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and nothing can stop her from laughing when the hot local Martian /come cop /come veterinarian introduces himself as Rudi.
Elf has sworn off all men so when she meets Rudi she feels things that make her act and talk crazy and by defense Rudi provokes the craziness as they fight their attraction for each other.
Will Elf give into her attraction to Rudi or will she stand by her no man rule. Will Rudi show Elf that she can rely on him to help her start the fire? Will Elf get burned or will she get the happily ever after with Rudi.
I really enjoyed this short funny read and can’t wait to read A Tangy Christmas Kiss book two of this series.

Seized by Obscurity (Evergreen Series #1) by Joann Herley
5 out of 5 stars
Ms. Herely has a new fan this first story in the Evergreen Series was so good I couldn’t put it down I read this short story in an hour. The characters are amazing and well written and the story line is so different from other stories that I have read about vampires.

Lord Evergreen boarded a ship and sailed to Alltree after hearing about the beauty of such land to see the land for himself. Captured by its beauty, he returned home to tell every one of the faraway island and his plans to build Evergreen Castle. Returning to Alltree with skilled craftsmen, he proceeded to build a castle on the west side of the island that overlooked the sea. After a decade, his castle was finally complete, and he brought his family to the island.

One by one, Lord Cumberland, Lord Fallon, Lord Draglaw, and Lord Heinrich made their journey to Alltree and began building castles of their own. They were all peace loving men, and the five Lords pledged to refrain from war and live in peace.

Soon immortals heard of the island and began to sneak aboard ships to make their way to Alltree. Once they arrived, they changed everything!

Lady Lara, Lord Evergreen’s granddaughter, is now the Mistress of Evergreen Castle. She is a two hundred year old vampire that has fought the madness and won. Her army of humans and vampires stand ready to protect the castle and the surrounding villages from those that disobey her one rule: Never drink human blood.

Thomas is overcome by grief after finding his family murdered he frequently seeks the village tavern to drown his pain with ale. Late one foggy evening after stumbling from the tavern, he is confronted by a stranger that will leave him mindless and craving the taste of blood. Observed by Lady Lara to be reckless and deadly, she offers her help to save him. Little does he know that being saved by her will lead to an unexpected love, an act of treason, and a willingness to sacrifice anything?
This is an awesome read that I highly recommend and can’t wait to see what Ms. Herely has in-stored for us in the next installment of the Evergreen series.

4 out of 4 stars
This is the second book that I have read by Ms. Harlow and while I loved the first book that I have read by her this book kind of fell short with the way the story seemed to jump around a little too much and I didn’t think it was realistic in some aspects. But the story line was well thought out.
Cassandra Carlson is a professional dancer, working on her five-year plan. She moved to Los Angeles to work at her best friend’s Hollywood dance studio. She decides she can put up with the glitterati for the time being until she saves enough to open her own studio back home in Cincinnati.
Christopher Edwards, a soon-to-be A-list British actor, comes to her for dance lessons for his new film, the attraction is instantaneous and intense. They are both young, available and strikingly beautiful, but while she finds Hollywood garish and superficial, he’s on the brink of realizing his life’s ambition with no inclination for a serious relationship.
Just when they can’t deny the attraction for each other, a jealous actress targets Cassandra in an insidious scheme, and a powerful studio head poses a formidable threat to them both.
Cassandra puts herself in harms-way in order to protect Christopher, but will she lose him in the process?
Are they too young for a relationship? Can they over-come the obstacles in Hollywood? Will they get a happily ever after? Can they move forward when their paths are supposed to go separate ways?
You will have read this story to find out the answers to my questions…

The Alpha’s Pride by Deidre Huesmann
5 out of 5 stars
This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Huesmann it was a short cute story that contains shifters and I love reading about shifters/paranormal.

This is a story where humans and shifters live in fringe societies, Val is taking a risk camping in the woods on shifter territory. Her overconfidence lands her in a game of life and death. This shifter is out for amusement, and doesn’t care if she wants to play. The game is set, and she must participate. He offers her a deal: if she wounds him, she wins. If he catches her, she dies.
Riker has every intention of killing her. Or did, before her scent hinted she is a potential blood bonded. Intrigued by the possibility, he pursues her in a hunt that will change their lives… and forever alter shifter and human societies.
Will Riker’s pride accept Val as his blood bonded or will they kill her? Can they overcome their shifter/human differences? Will their blood bond change the world between the shifters and humans?
You really need to read this short story in order to find out the answers to my questions. I highly recommend this short story and can’t wait to see what the author has in-stored for us next in this series…

The Wanderer (The Sin Bin #1) by Dahlia Donovan
4 out of 4 stars

This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Donovan, and the first book in this series, there should be a few more books to this series. You will need a box of tissue because I definitely had lots of tears with this one. Your drawn into these characters and their lives they were well written.

This M/M story is an emotional roller coaster ride from anything to anger to sadness that I have read of this gene in a long time and I am excited to read more from this author.
Graham Hodson lives for adventure. His entire life has revolved around his obsessive wanderlust. His inner fear of staying in one place or being with one person for too long has kept him on the go. The last thing he expects is a sudden diagnosis to ground his travel permanently.

Boyce “BC” Brooks has screwed up his lifelong dream of being the captain of the English national rugby team. He’s lost everything. When his uncle leaves him an inn and a dog in Cornwall, he has little choice but to try his hand at innkeeper.

Can their walls be torn down or will they walk away from each other? Will they overcome their fears? Can these two jokesters that were kicked around by life and their own decisions find stability when their world shakes beneath their feet?
I recommend this book and can’t wait to see what Ms. Donovan has in-stored for us next in this series….

This is the first book by Ms. Ann that I have read and I simply loved it. The characters where well developed and the secondary characters where hilarious as well as well-developed the story line was amazing and intriguing at the same time. I just couldn’t put this book down I read it in one sitting.
She has no memory but a knight in shining armor named her Keenan and she is a mystery to herself and others. An accident caused her amnesia and she can’t remember anything about her life before she woke up and was rescued. She has no name, no family, no history. Now she’s trying to survive and live her life and try to figure out who the heck she is. She comes across some amazing people and their friends and family become her family.
Stepping into the club and no misgivings about what she’ll like and what she’ll find, but he wasn’t it. Tall, dangerous, hands that roam everywhere she need them to and a voice like silk. She doesn’t want to see his face, she wants him to be a mystery like I am.
One night is all she’ll need to feel, to be caressed and revered, then she can go back to being no one in the crowd.

But fate had a different plan…..
Rush is a fighter. He fights for what he believes in and he fights for the people he cares about, but he’s never been the guy fighting for the girl, they fall at his feet. His club is swimming with sex, women and able bodies to take to his bed, but he doesn’t. He finds his relief, enjoy them and then set them loose anything more and your head gets twisted up. That was his rule.
When she stepped through the door he knew he wanted her, he wanted to taste her and feel her soft body up against his. He had to touch her. He had to see the color rise in her cheeks. Did he know it would become more?
Maybe he should have stayed away….
I simply loved this story and can’t wait to see more of Keenan and Rush. I highly recommend this book.

Boys of Fall by K.D. Wood

5 out of 5 stars
BOYS OF FALL is the first novella in the Seasons Erotic Short stories and the first book that I have read by this author. The characters are well developed and I like how Ms. Wood’s threw in enough history to get to know the characters and can relate to them as people.
Jerry Mathews, the local college football star, secretly stumbles into Autumn Landry pleasuring herself, and he can’t wait another day to tell the girl of his dreams how he really feels. Autumn Landry is the college president’s daughter and has her eye on Jerry too, and he is the inspiration for her fantasies. But she doesn’t realize that Jerry wants her just as badly.
The annual bonfire is tonight to celebrate his upcoming game and will be the perfect setting to show Autumn how he’s loved her since 8th grade. But the team’s biggest rival crashes the party with a plan to bench Jerry, and Autumn is the only witness and she must bring him out of the friend zone to save him.
But will she be able to steer him away from the hidden danger and safely into her arms in time?

I highly recommend this short erotic story it’s hotter than a hdsexvideo.xxx video if that’s even possible and I can’t wait to see what this author has in-stored for us in her next installment of the Seasons series.

This is my first read by Ms. Roberts and it was great from the get go, loved the style of writing and the characters this is such an awesome captivating read I can’t wait to get my teeth into this authors next works. This story filled me with so many emotions. I laughed out loud, cried, fell in love, had my heart broken, was frustrated along with the characters and I also felt their joy.
Frankie has known loss and disappointment in her life. She finally has the opportunity to shine and help others. Her latest job has brought her back to the States, where she decides letting go of her grief and moving on is exactly what the doctor ordered and her life will be forever changed. She comes face to face with a sexy and irresistible blast from her past; she realizes that this time she just can’t walk away.

Alex Blackmore is an assertive and controlling CEO, who is shackled to obligations the obligations he didn’t necessarily want. But now that Frankie is back in his life, he knows exactly what he does want and will have her. As their relationship intensifies, Alex’s worlds collide and their past resurfaces, threatening to destroy what they’re both working toward letting go and moving on.
Can Frankie and Alex fight their demons and embrace the future they’re FATED for?

I instantly connected with Frankie, and Alex they were strong independent characters that you can’t help but love. The supporting characters of Bella and Nathan rounded out the story perfectly. There is a small glimpse into Bella and Nathan’s lives that will make you want more of their story. Lucky for us, they will be getting their own book coming soon.

Connie (Angel #2.5) by Tracy Lorraine
5 out of 5 stars

I have read every book in the Angel series and I have loved them all. We met Connie and Fin in Emma’s book and this story picks up where Emma’s book ended.
Connie and Fin have an unusual relationship they grew up together and Fin is Connie’s brother Rubens best friend. They have had feelings for each other since they were both young.

Connie is a strong young woman. She has a successful business, an amazing family and now a great best friend. There is something missing though and no matter what she does she can’t put him behind her.
Throughout the years they tried fighting their feelings by moving on. Unfortunately their feelings for one another are too strong .I loved the hidden interactions between Fin and Connie they were epic.

Fin’s jack the lad persona is helping him to hide a lot of secrets. His friends think they know all there is to know about him but they are very wrong. Fin has become the master at hiding his pain and struggles. Fin has one weakness though, and she is getting harder and harder to resist and he knows she’s something he shouldn’t be allowing himself to have. He knows the possible consequences for his actions but he’s powerless to stop himself until the actions of his best friend forces his hand.
Can Connie move past the secrets that Fin has kept to himself? Will Fin Let Connie in enough for her to help him? Can their love overcome the obstacles in their way? Will they have their happily ever after? You really need to read this story to find out but I highly recommend you start with the first book in this series…..

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Sound of Love by Maria Watts
4out of 4 stars
This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Watts and I didn’t know if I liked the story or hated the story. This book makes you keep reading, and the story makes you absolutely frustrated, then it makes you laugh, and maybe even cry. I loved the ninety’s and the boy bands some of the music today stinks compared to the ninety’s.
The story starts off nice and sweet and then you watch them grow and we see them exploring more mature and darker issues.
Nina Bains is a normal schoolgirl from Southampton. She is a typical teenager going to school, hanging out with her friends and fantasizing about Chris Mulligan, one of the lead singers of the Funky Guys.
Nina has the chance to meet and get to know Chris personally. They fall in love and their two worlds collide with such a force that Nina is knocked out of her everyday life before she even realizes what is happening. As she is drawn more and more into Chris’ world, she suddenly finds herself on tour with a boy band phenomenon in a whirlwind of fancy hotels, tour buses, venues, fans, groupies and music. Soon she realizes all that glitters is not gold and she has to question everything she once believed in.

Can Chris and Nina understand the meaning of love? Will she risk everything to love Chris? Will Nina become something she doesn’t like while on the road?
The characters where written well and the way Ms. Watts wrote Nina’s character was real she was intelligent and mature for her age. I was Nina once I fantasized about my favorite boy band and I probably do the same thing Nina did.
